Devotion Sacred Heart Limited Edition

So this is where my trinket obsession and my perfume obsession perfectly overlap! :D I knew I needed the bottle from the second I saw it. Yes, it's a spray bottle, and yes, it lays on its side. It's beautiful! I love that it's clear glass. It's not a new version of Devotion, the perfume in itself is the same. Lemon cake with vanilla and rum. Edit: it stains A LOT so be careful with light clothing.

Bought this one the moment I saw the bottle (it's a heart that lays on its side) with beautiful metal engravings on the front. If you love vanilla and don't mind smelling like a sweet but light lemon pound cake, this is the scent for you!

i can't remember where I am. it could be Cannes, Saint Tropez or Taiti. I like to be greasy and tanned, sand in my hair.

I think it smells richer, thicker and more syrupy than in the bigger bottles. Maybe it's just me, but...👀. Love it! 💛🍦💛

The scent itself is identical to the original Signature, the only difference being the cute heart-shaped bottle, clearly designed for Valentine’s Day. The opening is candied lemon—bright, with a sweet-and-sour, candy-like character. It smells like freshly sliced candied lemon peel: clear, lively, and not sharp. As it moves into the heart, a smooth boozy nuance blends with the soft white floral tone of orange blossom. A creamy facet appears as well, adding richness. In the drydown, the vanilla is not a simple sugary sweetness. Instead, it echoes the creaminess from the heart, allowing the fragrance to transition naturally from bright sweetness into a warmer, softer finish. The interplay between creaminess and sweetness keeps the scent sweet without feeling hollow, and the progression between stages is very smooth. This kind of refined gourmand style is something Dolce & Gabbana does particularly well. Longevity is strong, and projection is quite noticeable.

Smells a bit similar to Kilian Love Don't be Shy but the opening note is a bit more citrusy

Obviously, like the majority of voters here, I blind-bought this fragrance for the bottle. :) This is my first time trying Devotion, and I truly don’t have many positive things to say. The longevity is weak to moderate, and the sillage is intimate. My impression of the fragrance is that it tries to be citrus-forward, but the sweet vanilla/panacotta notes quickly suffocate it. I wouldn’t say they complement each other in the way the original vision may have intended. It’s also incredibly sweet to me- cloying and, for some reason, childish. I consider myself a gourmand lover, but this is a hard pass. Obviously, as with the majority of fragrances, I can understand why someone might enjoy this. The bottle is indeed something special, and I adore it.

I wish I liked Devotion. Such a pretty bottle! Unfortunately this perfume turns to sour yogurt on my skin. I tried it twice and both times I had to scrub it off my wrist because it was nauseating. The opening is beautiful lemon candies but the drydown is where it goes sour for me. This particular mix of lemon vanilla just doesn’t work on my skin. Oddly one of my favorite scents is Iced Lemon Poundcake from B&BW so I thought I would love this. The lemon in that one doesn’t make the vanilla turn into yogurt. The scent remains sweet and cakey. The lemon note in Devotion is just too strong and tangy and in my opinion clashes with the vanilla.

@DreamInCream Thank you, I really appreciate your reply! Sadly we don't have an Ulta here in Europe. 🥲 But we finally got it in stores a few weeks ago in Scandinavia, so I bought it then! Yay! 🥰 I also think this one smells better than my ordinary bottle? Wonder if its the influence of the bottle that is playing tricks on me haha! Nevertheless, I love this travel spray! 🙏😍

I have been wanting to get a bottle of Devotion for a while. So this was perfect for me. The bottle is stunning and can be refilled. The scent is the original Devotion. It's such a sophisticated sweet perfume with a powdery drydown. Not a heavy, dense or creamy gourmande. Light, airy and elegant. It does resemble Olympea Solar, but Solar is creamier and sweeter.

Update: I bought a second bottle and sent it to an engraver on Etsy to have my favorite quote on the back. I highly recommend it, these make such a great gift to yourself and others, and they’re refillable! They don’t make perfume bottles like these anymore!!

i might get this for the bottle and its refillable i do enjoy devotion but i perfer devotion intense so i might buy both and use up this one and decant my devotion intense into it for travell
