D&G Anthology L'Imperatrice 3

It's an inoffensive Clean and Fruity fragrance. This reminds me a lot of the Garnier Fructis Conditioner which was very popular in the past. It gives me the same fruity clean vibe. It's listed as an aquatic floral fruity fragrance but to my nose I feel it's more fruity than floral. Watermelon and Kiwi are two of my most favourite fruits. So I instantly fell in love with this perfume after the first spray. I can smell watermelon,kiwi and something sharp, it may be the rhubarb or lemon tree notes. I also get a ripe guava kind of note in this perfume though it's not listed in the official notes. It's a refreshing fruit cocktail in a perfume form. It's perfect for the hot and humid summer we have here in Bangladesh. It won't make the people around you feel uncomfortable. Perfect for daytime. You can wear it for any purposes. Just take a shower apply your antiperspirant and spray this on yourself and you'll feel fresh and clean instantly. I personally love to wear this perfume when I know I won't be out for a longtime. I also wear this to bed as it makes me feel clean & comfy. It's my personal favourite and I wear it to please myself not others. This fragrance makes me happy. The scent doesn't change into some other notes over the time. You'll smell the same from the moment you spray it till it fades. It's not a sexy scent. But you'll get the attention if you've just sprayed it. So carry a decant while wearing this perfume. First 1-2 hours you'll definitely get noticed by everyone. But after that only people sitting or standing close to you will be able to smell it. I suggest everyone to wear this for yourself cause You'll feel fresh, relaxed and confident while wearing the fragrance. And people standing or sitting close to you will also feel cozy and comfortable. This perfume is summer in a bottle for me. It's perfect for Summer and Spring. You can also wear it all year round without offending anyone. I personally don't like to categorise perfumes according to seasons. I wear whatever I like whenever I wish. But I believe it's better to avoid extremely strong fragrances during summer as this may make people around you feel uncomfortable.

lets start with this .. launching six new perfumes in a collection is a CRAZY HIT .. I've never been attracted to Unisex fumes , few pieces that really can be breathtaking .. the 1st thing attracted me to this collections was the NAME series .. AMAZING; D & G Fragrance Anthology, the fragrances are named after tarot cards.. this is NEW & EXCITING ; the bottles are simple,a transparent glass rectangle with the D&G Logo down there with a simple black cap .. a good example for unisex fragrance ,as a personal taste ; its kind of bottles that i like UM IN LOVE WITH L'IMPERATRICE .. !! melons as it should be , how sweet , fresh, yummy , delightful ,L’Imperatrice begins with the aroma of sweet fruits, the watermelon-kiwi accord has a nice intensity and does not bellow: MELON! MELON! MELON! Grapefruit and “green notes keep L’Imperatrice from becoming too sweet . um not an aquatic fan but cyclamen note is aquatic, without annoyingly so, and as the scent dries down, it becomes less sweet, more tart and base notes smell of soft musk with a fruity-beer twis smells extremely FEMININE .. here i have to ask; IF YOU ARE A MAN , WOULD YOU WEAR L'IMPERATRICE ?!!! even with a name like L’Imperatrice?!!!! according to me , this a VERY FEMININE SCENT that i would enjoy wearing it with a feminine feeling to the maximum .. i got 100 ml bottle at a very good price in a local swap for me its the best through The D & G Fragrance Anthology fragrance 8/10

This scent, including its Limited Edition counterpart, are delicious and quite addicting. It was not my scent profile, and I tend to stay away from anything fruity or floral forward, but this changed my mind completely! I didn’t know what I was missing to be honest. L’Imperatrice grew on me, because it was not love at first sniff. I’m so glad I kept testing it, giving it a second and third try, and so on. The more I wore, the more I liked, then loved it! This fragrance is transparent.... what you see in the notes is exactly what you get. And I’m not mad at it. Juicy kiwi, sweet watermelon, and tart rhubarb all mingle together in a very happy, sparkling, and bubbly, effervescent dance. This will remain in my wardrobe as an easy reach. It’s yummy and satisfying when I want something refreshing, bright, and cheery! This is summertime and good vibes in a bottle. No it’s not groundbreaking, but there is a reason it’s so popular. I think it’s because it’s a instant mood booster. I don’t know how anyone could ever be sad wearing this delightful fragrance. It’s now a top pick and favorite. This is one of my favorite summer fragrances. I absolutely loved this at first sniff. It smells very metropolitan, like summer in Manhattan. It's very art-gallery cool, yet charming so that it's not too cool and kind of a people-pleaser. I get a delicious tart fruit mixture. I also get a strong peachy note, kind of like gummy peach ring candy (but in the best way!). At the end it smells like salty skin after the beach and a gentle floral note settles down, yet the sweetness of the fruit is originally there. This one is very unique among designer fragrance and I'm going to repurchase a bottle. Good longevity (8 solid hours) and weak-moderate sillage (which is perfect for a summer scent). I think it's well suited for a younger crowd though due to its fruity nature.

I am very much a girl who likes gourmand scents but secondly I definitely like fruity ones, now, I rarely like them when they are fresh (a contradiction, I know, but for example Devotion de D&G It has lemon but it's like a dessert🤷🏽♀️not like a cleaning product) but this perfume, I don't know why on my body it smells like a freshly picked peach! And there is no peach in this perfume! I don't know what chemistry did to my body but I asked several people and they agree with me 🤷🏽♀️ I personally like it, and it also lasts me quite a while (something very rare in me) at least its 10 hours with a medium sillage. So, yes, it is a good perfume (it reminds me of the original of this line) but know that, like to me, the perfume can transform quite a bit 2 u too

A summer fragrance that doesn't rely on heavy yellow florals or suncreeny solar notes was exactly what I was searching for. Sephora sent me a sample and I immediately picked up a 100 ml bottle from a discounter for just $40, which felt like an absolute steal. This is a light, refreshing, fruity aquatic. I get a burst of watermelon rind and rhubarb, with a hint of dewy florals - probably the cyclamen. Some reviewers complain about the "rhubarb funk," but I think that sourness is what gives L'Imperatrice its edge. It makes it feel just a bit more niche, despite being a designer scent. I’m also a huge fan of the pink juice and the simplicity of the bottle. It’s a modern classic for a reason!

I understand that it's not cool to say that it's a very nice scent especially by perfumery maniacs :) The same as it's not cool to say that Martini Asti is a really tasty champagne. But at the end of the day L'imperatrice is enjoyable the same as Asti is really tasty :))) So It's a very nice scent and complimented by people, first 3 hours projecting well if sprayed enough. It's just a happy feminine summer scent for psychologically normal people. The opening can remind of overripe fruits i get the comparison, but it goes away after about 10 min, and also if you don't think of that comparison then you don't get these fruits! Me personally wouldn't think of it if haven't read the reviews.

This is the fragrance that started it all for me. I was 16, it was an incredibly hot summer and I noticed this collection of scents. It was the first time I'd experienced a fruity fragrance that didn't feel juvenile in the slightest - aquatic but sweet watermelon, tart rhubarb and a slightly floral and woody dry down. Whilst not exactly ground breaking, it's an airy scent that is quite soft, and one I don't mind reapplying every few hours. 16 years later, it's still as beautiful as I remember it! I'm not exactly sure when it was discontinued, but the bottle I recently got looks and smells exactly the same as it did back then.

Obsessed with this scent and can't understand how its so affordable for such a large bottle at most major retailers! A lot of reviews saying it doesn't last long but I find that it definitely does! I was at Walmart the other day and I was standing near two teenagers for just a few seconds and one of them followed me to ask me what perfume I was wearing. I was shocked because I didn't think I had gotten close enough that she could smell my perfume and also because I had last sprayed 3+ hours ago and I had thought this perfume to be "weak"- definitely not! I will be crushed if D&G ever discontinues this!

This is why you should always test out fragrances for yourself, I was a bit apprehensive of trying this out as many people complain about this having a BO smell but luckily for me this isn’t the case. On me it smells clean, fruity and a little bit tart. I sprayed this on at 7:30am and I can still smell it on myself at 2:30pm, so there’s no issue with longevity for me - but then again, I didn’t wear this for months as it wasn’t the right climate for it. I don’t think I’d wear this in the sticky heat, but it definitely works in normal temperatures where it’s not freezing/too hot.

I really wanted this because of the rhubarb and watermelon notes and I have to say, despite the fragrance overall smelling like very expensive shampoo, it's grown on me. It's not as sweet as I imagined it, the earthy rhubarb and green kiwi make the overall fragrance more tart. I don't think I can really pull off a fruity fresh fragrance, but it fits among my other summer choices, so I'm happy to have it in my collection. Give this one a chance if you like fresh, green, fruity scents💚🫧 It's a very original one and, despite the name, it's a very unisex fragrance imo

My absolute favourite summer scent. Mouthwatering watermelon, some pink pepper in the back round making it versatile for almost any occasion, and that rhubarb curb that makes the scent stand out. Fruity, a bit floral, very aquatic/watery feel to it. Simply marvelous. Like the stupid dumb bitch that I am I sold my first bottle (gifted to me) because it “didn’t fit my scent profile” at the time... I just didn’t know you could like perfumes from vastly different profiles: meaning I expected all my perfumes to be similar to each other 🤦🏻♀️🤦🏻♀️🤦🏻♀️

Lovely fragrance to smell on a girl during a summer day I ve smelled it first the first time in a shopping mall while checking out women perfumes, it was really nice. Couple days later i smelled it in the air, projecting like crazy from a passer-by’ and it was so good that I bought it for my partner the same day. Up close its quite sweet and synthetic, but i guess its the price for this great projection, so i you want to get noticed on a warm or summer day and like fruity coctail fragrances i would recommend this as a guy!

It's springtime, it was time for me to break this beauty out and tell me how I sprayed this like 5 days ago (a little got on my couch, used about 3-4 sprays) and I can still smell it!!! The longevity and vibrancy of this fragrance is insane! It's also pretty linear, I get the same exact notes as when I first spray it. It's mouthwatering fresh, watery and fruity. Really reflects the springtime. It always cheers me up because there's like a brightness to it? This is one of my fave fragrances in my collection.

Gorgeous, just a blast of watermelon and kiwi, I mean it’s really in your face and strong. But it settles into a fruity floral, musky, fresh and weirdly comforting - it’s nostalgic and familiar even though this is my first bottle and, as far as I know, my first time smelling it - it probably isn’t, I’ve probably been around people who have worn it. 😂 I cannot stop smelling my wrists and clothes. I know I’m really late to the party on this one, but I saw people calling it a modern classic and it really is.

It seems like this scent has such mixed reviews online but in real life, it's the only fragrance I own that *always* gets me compliments from strangers. Like strangers walk past me and then circle back to ask what I'm wearing, every time I wear it out. Mechanic who changed my oil a few days ago even asked what it was because he wanted to get it for his wife. I wouldn't say it lasts super long but it definitely projects very well when it's been applied within a few hours

It is a bright, fruit-forward fragrance that leans heavily into juicy watermelon and tart kiwi, giving it that instantly fresh, watery sweetness. It feels very youthful and energetic, almost like a crisp fruit drink on a warm day. That said, toward the end of the day, especially in hot sunny weather, it can turn a bit sour on the skin, almost like a fruity, slightly sweaty note. The scent is simple but uplifting, which makes it very easy to wear daily.

My go-to in the hot summer months in Louisiana. Any sweet scent can become suffocating during the Southern heat, but this scent smells so watery and juicy that it works wonderfully. Can definitely smell the kiwi, watermelon and pink pepper in this and love it! Might not last as long as other perfumes due to it being a more fruity/light scent, but for the price on online websites as well as the gorgeous scent, I think it is still worth it:)

i first smelled it when i was 12 and loved it ever since. it's so fresh and juicy without being too sweet. i adore the tart rhubarb and kiwi that break down the watermelon sweetness, but i also love the way it is balanced by just enough sandalwood and gentle florals that it doesn't fall in the cheap body mist category. i always end up going back to this smell, especially during summer, and every time i revisit it brings me so much joy.

Nose Note #24 One of my favourite smells on a lady. Too bad my wife doesn't think much of it. A fresh gourmand scent. Bubblegum watermelon, very aquatic and has right amount of sweetness. Doesn't fit the name so much, it's more like "Little Princess". It's a lighthearted, a bit playful smell. Purely summertime. Very memorable. I just can't get it out of my mind since the first moment, it's that memorable.

A simple, easy, casual scent for summer. My daughter who is a toddler keeps trying to sniff it every night because she loves watermelon! It can lean on naive and young but nevertheless brightens my mood everytime I wear it. The perfume is like a fresh satisfactory breeze, the touch of pink pepper and jasmine, sandalwood adds a nice nuance and weight to an otherwise body mist-like girly scent.

Es fresco, frutal dulce, chispeante, un aroma divertido pero a la vez elegante que te pone de buen humor! Que bien usada está la sandía en esta fragancia y qué excelente combinación hace con lo ácido del kiwi y lo picante fresco de la pimienta y el ruibarbo!

This just might be one of the best things I've ever smelled in my life! I will forever need this in my collection, as it's one of the most gorgeous fragrances I've ever smelled! It's aquatic, fresh and sweet, bubbly and just bubblegum pink! It's a sweet and juicy watermelon lemonade without it being synthetic, overpowering, cloying or unpleasant. It's just pure deliciousness in a bottle!

This is an absolutely wonderful, delicious springperfume! Rhubarb, Kiwi and flowering Cyclamen in a perfect mix. (I don't smell any watermelon at all.) The scent is mouthwatering like a sour/sweet-hard candy-kind of way and at the same time classy fresh. Superb durability on the skin and a reeeeeeal compliment-catcher!

It’s a pink bubble gum that is fresh and airy. I got it because it was totally overpriced, and it’s somewhat enchanting sweet smell so I thought I will just smell it from time to time as it’s a bit too sweet and kinda childish to wear everyday. And I did ! And I would get it again to have it as my bedtime scent.

This perfume is one of the most beautiful things I have ever smelled! It is HEAVENLY! I feel like a princess when I wear this. It doesn't last long but whenever I wear it people say I smell delicious! I have only a quarter of a bottle left and I'm sad that I can't find the original anywhere in my region.

I was not expecting to fall in love with this fragrance but here we are. It is fruity but not cloyingly sweet or artificial. It smells like fresh watermelon and reminds me of childhood places I no longer fully remember. This has quickly become one of my go-to fragrances. Love it!

Utterly sweet, fresh, and slightly tart in the best way possible. This scent is so delicious smelling that every time I spray it, I have to hold back the urge to tear off the atomizer and take a sip of the juice since I'm almost convinced it'll taste as good as it smells.

Rhubarb, watermelon, other indistinguishable delicious fruits. Not sweet fruity but rather fresh fruity. Cold fruits, something about this is cold! Clean and shampoo like smell which I enjoy. Makes me feel fresh out of the shower after spritzing myself with a bit of this.

ozonic, aromatic, beautiful, elegant perfume..i love it it, and wish i had purchased more bottles..i love it more than the reformulated limirmted edition limperatrice one..it's more long lasting, has more punch and invigorating..love it love it love it, it's invigorating

What a lovely, fresh and feminine scent! It smells fruity and for some reason I can smell mandarin in there although I dont see it in the notes. Perfect for warm spring and summer days! Sadly the longevity isnt great but boy is it a yummy smell 😍 Rating: 9/10

fresh and fruity, i know there’s no pear note but i can smell pear for some reason. i sprayed this in Sephora and couldn’t stop smelling my wrist, even now i can still smell it and the dry down is just as good. need to go back and buy a bottle of this asap

What a guilty pleasure this is, and how fun was it to burn through this for a few summers in a row. Natural watermelon note and sweet girly florals underneath. However, if you wear this on a rainy day, the humidity can make it feel sweaty and yucky.

Oooh, I love this one. It's nostalgic, 10 years ago every girl in my town wore it. It is fun, it is sweet, it is sour, it's a sour candy! My favorite time to wear it is spring or rainy summer days, it becomes a bit too much for me on a hot day.

I prefer wearing this one in winter because the rhubarb note gets too sour on my skin in summer giving it something like rotten fruit smell. In winter it’s just rhubarb lemonade with a little bit of kiwi. I don’t get the watermelon note at all.

I have had this for at least 10 years. It is a spring and summer favorite for me. So many reviewers said so many right things about it. “Instant mood booster” hit it right on the head. The OG is/was far, far better than the new one.

This just smells like a sunny day!! I never thought I could smell weather, but yes a hot summer day with fruity notes mainly watermelon, and fresh florals. I love it I can't wait to find a good layering routine to go with it.

I have this and love it. I also have the dupe from another fragrance house and i enjoy wearing it as well. I feel like this is a pretty safe blind buy. Very fruity scent with nice projection for an office or day wear.

It’s giving Vilhelm Mango Skin. Not sure why I seem to be the only one mentioning this. I would get the small bottle of this and test it out since Vilhelm only says Mango Skin in the full size bottle.

Obsessed with this EXQUISITE fruity kiwi/watermelon scent. A true delicate, summery and refreshing uplifting delight. Only wish it lasted longer but it’s a total safe blind buy and worth the price.

It’s a really long lasting eau de toilette! Fresh and sweet, maybe more suitable in the warmer days. After some hours it goes down as a clean fragrance. I love it!

One of my favorite gourmand fragrances believe it or not. Maybe it's just my nose. But it's very juicy and edible smelling. It's a sweet watermelon-citrus drink.

Watermelon sugar high! Ripe, juicy fruit, with a nice zing of rhubarb. Aquatic and memorable.
