Dolce Floral Drops

This starts out like just another simple generic light floral perfume. Pleasant, but nothing to write home about. But, the dry down is fabulous, dare I say addictive! It is warm clean musk and the softest, creamiest, feminine sandalwood blended to perfection. I put this in the same category as Miss Dior Blooming Bouquet. Super girly, light, with the dry down smelling even better than the top notes. No harsh notes, very round. It is also similar in longevity and silage with floral drops being just slightly stronger. Perfume Parlour please create the oil version of this!

absolutely fresh bright green fruity vibe in the opening. peach, neroli and green apple are the prominent notes. i get almost 3 hours of those notes. in the heart note, water lily is the prominent note. it was blended very well. in dry down, sandalwood and musk are so light and clean. this perfume is absolutely everyday perfume. really really pleasant, inviting, simple, light and friendly. if you're looking fresh bright fruity floral and light woody, this is one of them. i hope this perfume last longer on my skin unfortunately it doesn't.

This is a fairly recent purchase for me, so I've only worn it for a few days. At first spray, it reminds me of Gucci Flora. However, as it dries, the woods really come out and the fragrance "matures," if you will. I can still smell it on myself if there's a gust of wind or if I'm in the right spot for a gust from the air conditioner to hit me. I think it's one you can wear to the office and not smother everyone around you with your perfume. A very nice floral/woody scent.

Talk about such an improvement! Where original Dolce fails this one succeeds! Good work D&G in upgrading the somewhat disappointing Dolce! Floral Drops is "bolder". It has good staying power and soft to moderate projection. It can be called Dolce intense! Everything seems alive in this composition! The neroli blends well with water lilies to create a spring perfume that really takes us to Italy. This one deliver what it promises! 8/10

I love wearing this scent in rainy weather. It really brings out the creaminess in the dry down. This was a blind buy due to the beautiful bottle that I couldn't resist. I didn't love it at first but it has grown on me. So perfectly paired with spring. I find myself reaching for it more and more. The opening is a bit sharp but give it time and it develops into something lovely.

Love this and the whole Dolce line. If I didn’t know it was Apple I would think a very soft lime. The florals stay fresh and light. This is very easy wearing and even sensitive types in your office or yoga class would not complain about this. It could definitely stealth as a pretty shampoo-but-better smell for places that frown on perfume

I feel like Thumbelina sitting on a lily pad. She so small so she can vividly smell the pond water, the lily pad and the trees. Most of all she can smells the aroma of the fruit that the trees bear and the flowers that fall from the trees. Absolutely beautiful.

At first it smelled exactly like my first perfume love, Paris Hilton's black and white striped bottle!!!! Fresh, sharp, green, juicy, pear. Zero sweetness or sugar or vanilla. It's soooo pretty and girlie. I love it. I feel so clean and fresh when I wear it.

I absolutely love this smell! I didn't notice how similar it is to fabric softener until I read another review haha. Very white floral but slightly sweet middle note. It lasts long on clothes but not on skin. It's something almost anyone would enjoy.

I was indifferent to this at first but now that it's summer, I love Dolce Floral Drops and wear it every other day. It's a dewy, clean smelling floral that's feminine and fresh and not overpowering. Makes it ideal for work and everyday.

This is similar to several other floral/fruit combos such as Miss Dior Cherie, Versace Red Jeans, Flowerbomb except this is somehow cleaner, crisper, and fresher.

To me, this smells the same as the EDP but brighter and actually lasts longer too. Refreshing and quite pleasant for summer.

I got almost full bottle of this in an auction, I didn't even know what to expect, I bid as a joke more than anything. Didn't have any expectations, anything. So no crushed hopes involved into this blind 'buy'. What I smell is very light clean but yet powdery scent. It is very inoffensive, very innocent, very soothing. Almost like a bubble bath with fluffy towels and childhood. Safety in a bottle. Projection is weak, it's a skin scent. Fresh crispy laundry, soft white bedsheets, huge bedroom windows and me, a little girl looking at the big beautiful garden and summer summer... endless summer with bright sun outside. Nanny quietly playing grand piano... softness and innocence. It brings me back to my younger years, I love it. It's such a peaceful scent. I can't imagine it as a winter scent though. It's too light and too volatile, too ethereal. Like a soap bubble, like a dream, a memory.

Such a beautiful bottle. It's a shame the other bottles don't have any nuance. I mean, look at violet for example. Horrifying. I love most of this line, but l wish they all had the beautiful white colored rose on top. It's so much more fashionable, and bottle appearance is half the draw for me..(and of course flanker loyalty lol). Of course I a serious perfumista and have my favorites that are irrelevant to bottle appearance. And then there are the purse sprays. So l got blue jasmine in the travel size bc it looks so much slicker than the matching color head to toe bottle. I'm running out and would buy a bottle if it had the nice beige subdued flower cap. The flower should never be a color carbon copy of the vase, let alone the water inside. Ugh I just want my original dolce back that my ex friend Cookie stole.

The bottle is hella cute, it makes me wanna kiss it. Apart from that, this is a young, flowing with the wind (not in he sense of going quickly),feminine. The kind of sweetness in this is not like hard to breathe sugary but like the kind of that spring blooming tree flowers and strong green apple that surprisingly after reading the comments, on my skin lasts a decent time, especially that the most perfumes dissapear quickly on me, and more espeacially that this is a fresh one. I really suggest to try it and see how it works on you. I think that from this cattegory of easy to wear, this is one of the best, from what i tried. And I am a big fan of green apple and white flowers, if you are one to just give it a big chance. It is simple but it is like waking up from a nice dream in an orchard.

This smells so... nice. It is so... ephemeral that it is barely there. Now I am a 1-2 spray kind a girl, but I need to apply about a half a cup of this to get any kind of a discernible aura from it. It smells like a very inoffensive fabric softener or other laundry product. When it first goes on it smells a bit like nail varnish. Then it is pleasant, a brief fantasy of water lilies, and then it floats away, like a child's bubbles. There is a faint sweet apple note, I agree with previous posters. While there is nothing offensive about this scent, there is not enough tangible to hold onto to warrant purchasing a bottle. But that is what some people are looking for.

This one really is GREEN. If you don’t like green scents, I’m not sure this is a safe blind buy (although you could still potentially love it). I am not normally big on green scents, although I didn’t hate it. I just found it was a bit too much for me so I eventually gave it to my boyfriends sister, who I think enjoys it more than I do. The Thumbelina analogy from the reviewer below made me smile though, because it’s nice to paint these images and create a mini story for our perfumes. Maybe if I internalised Thumbelina when i still had this I would’ve enjoyed it more😂. Nice fragrance though, just not to my personal taste.

I really like this. I have tried all of the Dolce family except Shine and have liked them all except Garden. I have had multiple samples of Floral Drops and have finally bought a 50ml bottle for a good price. It is such a light, fresh green floral. So easy to wear that even though at first sniff I just thought this was merely OK, it crept up on me until I realised I was reaching for it more and more. Longevity and sillage are about average for an EDT. I find that this one stays fresh and light whereas the original Dolce EDP tends to sour and sharpen on me.

Very soft, almost watery like scent. The name floral drops seems appropriate to me, because even though I love the scent at first spray, it evaporates within minutes. It feels like it’s called floral drops as is it’s a watered down version of the original. I love the scent, and my husband does too, but I’d have to apply every half hour or less to be able to keep smelling it. I very much wish there were a stronger bottle available. Just as a side note... how adorable are these bottles? They make me smile just looking at them.

Has a pleasant smell but don't expect anyone to smell it on you unless they stick their nose right up to you and takes a sniff, this sits very close to the skin and is not long lasting. I really like the scent though, you can definitely smell the green apple and I like sweet scents so I do enjoy this perfume. I don't know if this is the same for everyone but the dry down scent is pretty different on me than when I first spray it on. Its a little more musky and floral and the fruity scent is pretty much gone.

This is the clone of either Ralph Lauren Ralph or RL Blue! It's been a while since I have had either of the two but I know this is spot on one of those fragrances. I'm almost 100% sure it's Ralph and I know Ralph has green apple. Not a bad smell just played out and not what I expect from D&G. Ten years ago this was great for RL . This flanker isn't original at all. It's one thing to recycle your own work but now it's RL in a D&G bottle. Uninspiring to say the least.

Spring freshness in a bottle! Comparing to the first Dolce, Floral Drops version is less soapy, so much better IMHO. Pure, light, charming fragrance, totally office safe. Stillage is so soft that it would be really difficult to overdose it. Recommended for all fresh scents' lovers. Update: Worn in heat, it is very sweet, so spray sparingly in summer.

I like this perfume quite a bit but it doesn't last very long and on me, when it dries down it loses all the fruitiness and only the floral scent is left like how the other girl said it does on her. It smells very good all throughout it's life span though if you plan to reapply throughout the day you'll go through a bottle of this pretty quickly.

It’s a generic pleasant fruity floral perfume, nothing significant about it. Good for gifting and wearing to work as it’s not at all offensive. Projection and lasting power is weak. I have a bought a bottle for myself as I like this sort of gentle floral smells but don’t think I’ll buy again once this bottle is over.

I was so disappointed when I smelled this yesterday- it smells almost identical to the edp version. I feel as if it's just a money making thing from D&G trying to get us to buy more perfumes, but there really isn't any difference between this one and the first!

I'm a fan of this green apple scent. The opening is very fruity, strong green apple scent and some papaya, then the florals come out after some time. It's a nice perfume, one to wear in the day but would have to retouch every so often.

Light, fresh and sweet. Lasted on me all day and I received a compliment on how good I smelled close to the end of my workday. Was my summer 2019 vacation scent and reminds me of the trip I took.

It reminds me of a watered-down version of CD J'adore. Very faint and weak on me.

This version is more white floral, but the original one is more catchy.

Like going through a spring day: Morning: For me it opens very fresh with apple and sharp florals which go well together, Day: after 10-15min it turns to fresh and sunny spring flowers Night: and after an hour or so you get soft and sweet powder which is comforting. Hard to overdose but the fragrance is there. I keep respraying as I really like the apple note but later notes are quite nice too, just different. You get what is promised.

This is a fresh and elegant casual perfume. It's easy to wear. At first I could smell the apple. The florals came trough after the opening. It's truly a spring scent! It's nothing too complex but it's supposed to be that way. Lovely!

The gives Greenwich Village no.9 not really a fan of floral drop.

The sample (EDT and received with a Sephora order) was soo much stronger than the bottle, the sample was a green, brisk cucumber with crisp raw apple and watery lotus. A few droplets from the spray were enough, and while it didn't last all day, it was a pleasant way to jump-start the morning. Ended with a watery, soft musk. The bottle (EDT and bought from a department store) in comparison smelled unfocused, I couldn't find any cucumber and the apple was a cloying sweetened granny smith candy version of apple, and the whole thing faded within an hour with a stringent, sour sandalwood I had to scrub off. So beware, if you fell in love with this from a sample, you might want to test drive the bottled sort before investing in a full-size bottle.

Disappointing for the price plus it has poor longevity of only about 2 hours. I could hardly smell many floral tones in it and they were weak notes. For the price, Estee Lauder Pleasures represents better value and has heaps more floral aromas in it, and lasts longer. I usually love D&G, but not this one. Sorry.

It's not very good. Strongly white floral, I sense mostly neroli. Sharp and cloying. I was hoping it's better than the original, but it's not. Good, for someone else.

It dries down quickly, but the opening note smells like Raid. After that, it is a perfectly nice scent, but a bit boring.

I bought this perfume because of the pretty bottle!

To my nose, this a shampoo-y, slightly aquatic floral. It's VERY light. I usually really don't like these types of scents but for some reason I like this one. I keep going through samples thinking it'll lose its charm, but I think I'm gonna end up getting a full bottle. This is nothing spectacular, and it's not a love, but it's a very fresh and aquatic fruity floral that I've been craving in this heat. To me it smells like shampoo-- slightly apple juice-y, a little green, and a bit aquatic. Longevity and projection are not good at all. It lasts about one, maaaaybe two hours on my skin, and projects for about 30 min before it's very much a skin scent. For me, it's good to freshen up or use right out of the shower.

Third Dolce I have tried unfortunately none have done anything for me they are pleasant but boring and for the price you expect unique scent strong sillage and longevity which is not what you get with these Dolce fragrances. It is really disappointing because the bottles are beautiful and charming the best perfume bottles I have ever seen. For that reason alone I am tempted to buy one of these fragrances but i am so disappointed with the juice inside. I like this one best out of all three it has a creamy green floral scent though still very bland unfortunately. It makes me sad the juice is no were near as good as the bottles . scent=4.5/10 sillage=3/10 longevity=3/10 bottle =10/10

This perfume has grown on me. Although I stand by the fact it is not the most unique, I can definitely distinguish this scent from other floral scents. It has that aquatic but floral refreshing clean musky ultra feminine scent that makes me feel clean and energized yet classy all the while. It is perfect for hot weather. I will be purchasing this. It is very good, even though I slated it in my previous reviews.I have been using my sisters in the hot weather and it has charmed me. Also it lasts 4 hours on me in summer time, when most other florals last 1 hour maximum so I am impressed with that aspect too. I will be purchasing soon. It is beautiful simplistic clean and refreshing.

This could have been the best green apple perfume ever, however............. This initial spray was intoxicating It reminded me of a freshly opened juice box of apple juice🧃 U know !!!! while u start drinking it from a straw yet enjoy the aroma of apples tickle your nose🍏 ( Anything that triggers a childhood memory is a plus for me 💚) But sadly its very very light, almost faint scent ! It does have that clean fresh off the shower feeling But gone in seconds I have body mists that performs better than that I can see why some reviews relates it to J'adore It does have a drop of it And has that 90's perfumes vibes For the price I sadly don't find it worth buying

While I appreciate the original Dolce for the simplicity of its fresh greenness mixed with a touch of soft white musk, Floral Drops elicited a huge 'bleh' from me when I finally got a chance to smell it. So synthetic in nature, like smelling an original Bounce dryer sheet doused in original Gain (sorry for all the 'originals' but there are so many versions of both products these days I had to differentiate LOL). Harshly unpleasant to my nose, I will stick to the original (ha-ha) Dolce.

A bit disappointed by Floral Drops. I was expecting a deeper, more complex fragrance but this is very simple. It's light, floral and kind but really nothing special. I usually appreciate the DG fragrances even if not every fragrance fits me but Floral Drops is boring; I get green notes such as water lily and apple but no depth. It's rather a deodorant smell. If you are looking for a fresh but diverse scent try Armani Acqua di Gioia. This is worth the price.

Dolce Floral Drops is green, watery and a bit vague. There's a nice presence of green apple, a bit of peach (and in the top note some unlisted cucumber). The florals are present but difficult to distinguish. This is a safe, inoffensive, daily driver. If you needed a gift for someone you don't know, this would be fine. I can't imagine someone who's really into perfume would be infatuated with this one, but it's pleasant.

Rain do good things for this perfume.and snow;).amm I think some similarity to j adore dior make me love dolce -I don't really understand what note ?sharp but pleasant and bright. Maybe neroli ? There is freshness and soapy notes. make feeling of just after shower.and that what I very very love;). But at hot weather something not working .

Not a fan of florals, love this one though. Light, fruity, fresh, yet those delicate floral notes still pop on through. I find it lasts moderately through the day, but definitely not as potent or noticeable as something like Tom Ford or Chanel. I'd say definitely non-offensive. Light, pretty, fresh, feminine but not too girly.
