Dolce Garden

I kind of love this... (I know this is a perfume review site and not a storytelling site but my feelings of this perfume require some backstory, so bear with me) The past couple of days, my boyfriend and I have been getting settled into our new duplex apartment in the eclectic/artsy district of town. Our street is an offshoot of the main shopping strip of the area and everything we could ever want to go to is right within walking distance of our place, whether it be a coffee shop, a bar, a trendy restaurant, or a boutique. The street I live on is lined with picturesque Victorian houses accompanied by colorful gardens and it’s absolutely stunning to behold. I have enjoyed going out for walks just to admire the houses and there’s never a time that I leave the house that the neighbors don’t wave and smile. I have dreamed of living in this part of town for as long as I can remember and it feels surreal to finally be living my dream with the man of my dreams. I’m feeling incredibly optimistic about life and it’s as though I’m floating on a cloud. Yesterday, when I was on a shopping excursion, I discovered Dolce Garden’s rosy pink bottle sitting on a display stand surrounded by small pink flowers. I was immediately awestruck by its beauty much like I am awestruck by the beauty of my new neighborhood. And when I sprayed it on myself, I felt like it’s aura matched my feelings in this new stage of my life so perfectly. It has such a sunny, lively, feminine disposition that radiates warmth and optimism. It opens with mandarin, neroli, and magnolia—refreshing and uplifting. The coconut, ylang ylang, and frangipani heart gives off a tropical vibe that reminds me of being on vacation in a foreign place with only possibilities lying in my wake. The almond and vanilla in the base lend a dollop of warmth to compliment the milky coconut and round out this sweet, spritely beauty. I couldn’t resist getting myself a bottle. When I wore this perfume today, I floated on my cloud of optimism with my perfume cloud of optimism encompassing me and I never felt more confident and beautiful and at home in my own skin. I walked down my Victorian-lined street with my head high and a smile etched on my lips and the neighbors must have noticed that I was feeling myself because one of them stopped me to give me a pink peony from his garden! I know that this scent will become special to me and serve as a reminder of happy beginnings and will remind me to stay humble and be grateful of what I have been fortunate enough to achieve in my life. If there were an image to go with this perfume, it would be the image of a pink flower that’s been warmed by the tropical sun and is now opening its petals up to meet the sun’s rays, embracing all of its vibrancy and warmth. Much like a young woman who is coming to find her place in the world and is now drinking up all that life has to give. ;)

TROPICAL & MILKY Coconut-Frangipani & Brown-Sugar VANILLA. Opens with a floral burst of magnolia & frangipani with watery, citrus, floral, tropical, milky, sweet & clean touches, that sheds its clean touches from neroli and deepens into a tropical heart of coconut-frangipani supported by ylang, all resting on a milky almond-vanilla & creamy sandalwood base. Overall I get a sweet & milky coconut frangipani scent, supported by a soft-spicy vanilla. Has reminders for me of Olympea Solar, The Only One Intense D&G and Dior Addict EDP. Although it has a sweet tropical profile, it's warm enough in the drydown, with above average performance, for a year-round wearing experience. This was love a first scent for me. Seekers and collectors of lactonic scents won't be disappointed. Contrast to Olympea Solar Paco Rabanne: These are different, but they're both signed by Violaine Collas, and there are some similarities, especially in the openings, although I had hoped they would be a little more similar. Both have a sweet, tropical opening, but Olympea Solar dries down similar to Alien Goddess & Hypnotic Poison Dior, while Dolce Garden dries down similar to Dior Addict EDP. Both are sweet, but OS is sweeter, while DG has a more forward milky quality. Contrast to The Only One Intense Dolce&Gabbana: These are different, but both are signed by perfumer Violaine Collas, and there are some similarities. TOOI is more about orange-blossom, and has more similarities to Rouge Malachite Giorgio Armani, but in its heart with coconut you catch a glimpse of Dolce Garden. Both have above average performance. Contrast to Dior Addict EDP 2014: These are very different, however there are some similarities, and my first impression of Dolce Garden was that the drydown was like Dior Addict EDP. The vanilla is done is a similar way, however DG maintains its milky tropical accord over the softly-spicy brown-sugar-like vanilla, while DA has more green citrus in the opening and doesn't have the milky & tropical qualities. Both have above average performance. Overall: Gorgeous scent profile, and well above average performance, this is the perfect scent to wear for a tropical yet cozy vibe. It's a longtime love for me. 10/10. Enjoy!

Just bought a bottle in 2024 as I wanted a beautiful coconut scent (and I live somewhere I cant sample fragrances so most of mine are blind buys), this seemed like a people pleaser of those that do and do not like coconut. Also I love a citrus Vanilla combo in the notes it makes me happy and feel like its an easy crowd pleasing scent profile. Its a soft gentle fragrance. Its definitely got a nutty warmth to it paired with subtle florals and a delicate sweetness. I am a big vanilla lover and can never get enough - the vanilla in this isnt overtly detectable but im sure adds to the sweetness and warmth of the fragrance. Projection isn't massive which is good because my partner isn't good with strong scents. It doesn't remind me of sunscreen or lotion/oil (Not like that Reef Brand from the 80's/90's AUS anyway, that stuff is/was Potent & gives me great memories too) the coconut isn't that prominent in my opinion not in an obvious way anyway and I would be happy if it was stronger but I think as a whole all the notes are balanced beautifully. This is gentle enough to sleep in in my opinion. This is not a beast by any means, the longevity isn't too bad but it definitely becomes a close skin scent within the first hour. I do get gentle whiffs of it through the working day at my desk which is all I really want anyway. I occasionally will layer this over a laconic vanilla base (mont blanc, signature) just to give it a boost. But its very moreish and an easy grab. I bought a 30ml blind (for $80AUD), should have shelled out for the 75ml I've had it almost a month and there is a BIG dent already. LOVE IT. will 100% repurchase at a reasonable price (so around $120AUD for 75ml, I would be happy with). This is beautiful.

This little guy is how I discovered the fragrance community! I loved fragrances as much as the next person, but I was always a 1 fragrance person. I had no idea that there was a fragrance community. This fragrance is absolutely wonderful and super underrated. I loved it because it strikes a perfect balance between almond, tropical, calming, warm, floral, casual and elevating. Even before I got into fragrance as a full hobby I've been super picky about what I consider a signature scent, and this met my standards but in a unique way. I still feel this way about it. I got moderate performance and would reapply in the middle of the day. I started to get disappointed because I noticed that although it smells incredible on the bottle and on my skin, my scent bubble and sillage smelled like candy. According to my nose and others I asked, the candy smell didn't pick up any of the notes in my skin. It was just straight hard candy. That's a big no for my personal taste. Others can take what they will from this! Today I still hang on to how it smells on skin and the bottle and I love it. I'd consider this a summer scent of course, and a signature scent if you come from a tropical environment. It's not ultra-light in it's weight and note profile, so this makes it feel like a more substantial addition. It's so well blended but you can pick out individual notes. It's very youthful and ultra feminine. I will say that if you get the candy-vibe from this it amps up the girly youthful aspect and even makes it feel juvenile if you're sensitive. But it's also sensual and warm which adds more sophistication. I'd say this works for a younger crowd. It's truly beautiful and it really delivers for what you pay.

Oh wow this is the creamiest coconut milk and vanilla I've ever experienced! I've tried many perfumes with a coconut note and honestly could not really "detect" or feel the coconut in them. But this one is VERY coconuty and gorgeous! Although the pink bottle and the name Dolce GARDEN made me expect a more floral kind of scent, but I was pleasantly surprised! It feels like smelling condensed coconut milk, with vanilla extract and almond milk. These three notes I detected right away without looking at the notes pyramid. There are gentle florals in th opening that become very soft in the dry down. So that coconut cream is domineering. *Comparison with Tom Ford Soleil Blanc:* Soleil Blanc has way more focus on white florals, and the nutty almond note isn't so prominent. That one is more of a floral fragrance with a creamy base. It's more aromatic, lighter, and less sweet. Dolce Garden has way softer florals. The coconut is actually in the front while the florals support from the background. It's sweeter, creamier, and more gourmand-ish than Soleil Blanc. I honestly this it would not be redundant to own a bottle of both of them if you like creamy, lotion-y fragrances. While Soleil Blanc is more suitable for summer because it is less "pungent", Dolce Garden could be worn in summer nights easily. *Comparison with Creed Virgin Island water* That is coconut water. The most realistic, crisp, and somehow cool coconut aroma I've ever smelled in a perfume. Felt like I was smelling a cold bowl of coconut water and pulp that's right in front of me. Kind of an opposite vibe of the sweet and creamy nature of Dolce Garden. Sorry for the long post. Have a nice day! :P

If you look at my profile you’ll see that I’ve owned over a hundred perfumes, and I mean full bottles all of them, I typically never go through the whole bottle I enjoy it for some time and eventually sell it and buy something new... over my whole perfume journey, Coco mademoiselle intense has been my absolute favourite, easy pick for “choose only one perfume for life” etc... So how in the hell did this perfume kicked out EVERY single perfume I have ever had, and became my absolute number one? Never in my life I would imagine, that a floral perfume would be my favourite ever. I usually go for the heavy sweet stuff. But this perfume is just heaven ... I don’t know how else to describe it, this is how heaven would smell to me. It’s so amazing light and airy and yet sweet and creamy, the coconut vanilla and almond are there, but the flowers are there just as much as the coconut, what the heck...I went through the full bottle so fast I already have a second one and I’m stocking up to have a solid backup, because I dread the day I find out it’s getting discontinued, because as a flanker it will end some day unfortunately ... it just smells absolutely perfect. I just wish It was a bit stronger and longer lasting, so I don’t fly through the bottle so fast. Its not weak, but for a signature perfume I require a really good longevity and projection and this one is slightly behind on that. I will forgive her though because no way in hell I use anything else, at least for some time for sure

I think I understand why Dolce Garden has such polarizing reviews. It opens in an innocuous candy-sweet manner with crystalline airy fluffy coconut-almond-honey-vanilla, like a comforting and sweet milkshake with all of the above, similar to Almond Blossom & Oat Milk from Victoria's Secret. But what's lurking underneath are florals which DO NOT behave like the cleaned up, pared back, sheer abstract versions of themselves which usually appear in scents which feature this type of playful youthful packaging. No, these florals kept all their naughty bits! The ylang is husky and indolic, the magnolia is sour, green and lemony with some discernable bitterness. If you think this perfume just doesn't work with your skin, it's probably because there's an actual discrepancy here between the innocent as a newborn top notes, and the well-traveled no-nonsense florals underneath. An interesting and unexpected choice from the perfumer, and gives this one a leg up on shampoo type Marc Jacobs scents which play it safe from start to finish. The coconut creamy sweet notes remain as the florals appear so the innocent side of this scent never departs, but it might not be enough to redeem this scent for those who were depending on this fragrance being almost entirely gourmand. If you are a true floral lover, don't expect anything challenging here, just a green tropical bouquet framed with creamy smooth milkshakes.

Sweet, fresh, and floral! The coconut sits at the base but mixes very well with the magnolia, neroli, and ylang-ylang! I get the almond milk and some vanilla. Not going to lie, when I first got this perfume it was okay for me. I never really got to wear or like it till the summer season came and now?? I’m in love!! The projection of this fragrance is amazing! I wore it to work and 3 hours later I walked into the same bathroom and stall I went into when I first got to work and all I could smell was my perfume! It was so nice and I’ve gotten compliments (^ヮ^)/ ✨ I walk around leaving a nice trail 4-5 hours later with a great scent bubble. Definitely worth the purchase, if you’re looking for a very sweet summery coconut, this may not be what you’re looking for. It’s more of a coconut milk/water sweet with fresh florals and milky hints from the almond and vanilla. I do not get boozy from this whatsoever, but this fragrance is THICK and can pack a punch. This is the PERFECT spring scent. A great summer scent but may have to be sprayed light handed because this CAN turn cloying in super hot weather. Nice for outside outing, on a yacht, the beach, diner, garden date, or park. This fragrance exceeded my expectations! (Edit: I do not get coconut sunscreen at all, idk how people are sniffing that?! I have other coconut fragrances like Hypnotic Poison that DO have the sun tan lotion smell.)

Smells like you are walking through a tropical garden at sunrise and fresh dew is covering all the yellow flowers. Sweet, aquatic, but balanced with a richness in the base. Perfect as an everyday fragrance when the weather is just starting to warm up and is ideal for the transition between spring and summer. Very feminine, leans croquette and girly, but not immature. I pick up on all the florals, including the magnolia, But the coconut is the star. The coconut is creamy like the icing on a coconut cake. It does not lean overtly tropical or sunscreen-like. I do not smell the mardarian or anything citrusy. The base is creamy from the almond milk and sandalwood with just a touch of vanilla. I would not describe this as a vanilla forward scent. Scent bubble and silage is intimate but it is more significant than a skin scent. Longevity is impressive. It’s one of those scents that you forget you’re wearing and then you flip your hair or move and you get a whiff of intoxicatingly creamy coconut. Dolce Garden was difficult to layer with, but it did work well with the Eso Coconut Waters and Palmer’s Tahitian Vanilla body lotions. I rated Dolce Garden an 8/10 because it’s versatile, affordable, has decent performance, and is unique scent profile for a fresh perfume. Dolce Garden is also an early example of Floral/gourmand combo and I have been really loving that profile lately.

I have stopped buying all the perfumes I just like. I just have way too many and started to sell lots of them ,i only want a few and the few have to be a LOVE for me. So I haven’t been on a hunt lately at all and have missed a lot of new releases ,,,, went on a little sniffing spree the other day and DOLCE garden was the one that stood out and I couldn’t say no to,,,, instant love and addiction to me. Nothing like other mainstream perfumes ,very unique and niche feeling. This warm nutty vanilla helow ,warm like the sunshine and airy like a cloud, captured my attention and heart on the spot. The drydown is pure addiction to me with its gourmand smell of a vanilla coconut cake ,,,, i haven’t been into gourmands for some time but this isn’t just gourmand it’s just so well done with its creamy smell of nutty delight. It’s not sticky sweet but airy sweet due to the nuts , vanilla and sandalwood ,this perfume has such a warm edge to it. The flowers give it lightness. It’s a unique creation and smells like Summer in so many ways. My son said this morning , mom you smell amazing ! It’s a little like the confetto profumum ,yes but it’s fresher , better and less $ , i just love it ! I have to add that I don’t understand why it was named “garden” ? Sure it starts juicy and fresh like an Italien garden ,but with garden I associate flowers and green.

I didn't expect much from this Dolce & Gabbana fragrance, especially with the cheap looking (but cute) flower lid. I heard some Youtubers hyping it and just thought it may be another one of those overhyped perfumes. But no - it really is that good. It is one of the best coconut fragrances I've ever smelled and it is my favorite tropical coconut fragrance. I found a full-size bottle for $45 at a discounter, which is a steal. I will definitely repurchase when running low. It is a sweet tropical coconut fragrance that starts out a little on the syrupy side, but the freshness from the florals also comes through to keep it from being cloying. The more it wears, the fresher it gets. But I wouldn't call it a freshie. It's got too much body and substance. The white & yellow florals are done really well. Even though the base notes are present, it isn't a gourmand - and I wouldn't call it a floral-gourmand exactly either. It's just really done well. Mass appealing but in the best way. One of the best blind buys I've made. Projects well but not going to choke people out. Lasts a decent amount of time too, maybe 5-8 hours. I'm usually not into florals so much, and yellow florals can be tough for me. Glad I took a chance. It's fantastic. 10/10 perfume. I wouldn't change a thing about it.

I don’t usually go for florals, but there are few exceptions, and this is one of them, I am slowly falling in love with this. As someone who prefers heavy sweet and gourmand perfumes, this seems rather fresh to me, but I’m pretty sure that someone who prefers fresh and light scent would say it’s quite sweet and heavy. I think it’s because its both. At first I get a beautiful summer flowery garden with a coconut, which is a combination I would never imagine I might actually like, but the flowers are just so right... and then the longer I wear it, the sweeter it gets, it slowly changes into creamy warm vanilla and coconut but still with some flowers in the back. It’s hard to imagine if you never smelled it, I highly recommend to at least try a sample if you’re at all interested, I am really happy I finally went for it. I think I even might go through whole bottle this summer, which really doesn’t happen very often. But since I found it for a really nice price, I don’t feel the need to save it, I just spray like a crazy person. Which is another thing I noticed, it’s overspray friendly, which I love, because I’m THAT person 🫣😅 longevity is quite good, I get a whiff of it throughout the whole day.

This has grown on me ! I got my first bottle 3 years back! I couldn't appreciate it enough. It smelled like rotten pineapple juice on me. I had to declutter the bottle. Few months back the smell was haunting me. I couldn't resist neither found why I was thinking of it soo much! purchased another bottle! The first spritz on wrist and I was lost into beautiful things! I felt happy, I was giggling! I stopped investigating why I loved it so much! I am enjoying it almost every other day. Such a delightful experience! The scent profile is coconut vanilla and frangipani for rest of the world! Hence the name garden feels unappreciated. In south Asia there's a variant of flower known by many names! In wikipedia it's listed as Spanish Cherry, Medlar, and Bullet Wood! Dolce Garden makes me feel I am sitting under a hundred years old tree of that flower, it has shed flowers around me, millions of it looking like a white sheet on green grass. I put on a creamy vanilla scented body lotion , sipping on Lukewarm herbal tea, and Bokul(Bullet Wood ) drowning me in dense aroma! I found my garden feel in D & G Garden!!

I purchased Dolce Violet after hearing YouTuber Ksenja rave about it and she was not wrong, I fell in love with that gorgeous shampoo like Spring time scent. Then heard all the furor about Dolce Garden so I took the leap and blind bought it because I have been in my coconut phase and thought I could not go wrong. Luckily I ended up adoring Dolce Garden even more than Dolce Violet. This is in the running to be in my top 5 and I would say it is tied with others in my top 5. If you like coconut and floral you can't go wrong with this. It brings to mind Ariana Grande's Thank You, Next, which is simple coconut, but with added bombastic depth to keep things more interesting and give this fragrance some real staying power. So for me this is a more mature Thank You, Next with intoxicating florals swirling around the coconut milk and some delicious deep more bitter note in the base, maybe bitter citrus to round out the sweetness. This lasts on my skin and projects well. I wore it on a sunny day in October with a floral vintage type springy dress and the scent was intoxicating!

After outgrowing la vie est belle, I hunted for a long time and was really hoping that this would be my new signiature scent. When I smelled it instantly felt that this was me in a bottle. It's pretty, sweet, feminine, fun and unique. It gives me the vibes of someone who lives by the water and goes for long walks on the beach trails and sips on coconut water watching the sunset go down. The bottle in the store lasted on my skin the whole day and I knew I wanted a bottle of my own. I can smell the coconut and this very enticing creamy smell (must be a mix of the frangipani, vanilla, and almond) and only a bit of floral. However once I got a bottle of my own, it lasted not even an hour on my skin before it vanished! Gutted. I used up the whole bottle, but I'm not sure I'll ever get another. My bottle also smelled more girly and juvenile rather than the one in the store and way too milky with not enough of the tropical-floral quality to it. Had to go searching for another perfume and found one but this definitely served as the inspiration.

I agree with every word Allthingssparkle wrote because I had/have all said fragrances. My favorite coconut fragrances hands down is Blanche Bete and Garden. Both BB & Garden pulls a creamy coconut scent. I absolutely love it! Last year I got a pre owned 3/4 full bottle from Mercari for only $30. & it was the best money spent! From last summer to this summer, I have maybe 1/4 left. The sillage is great but I also layer/wear it with a perfume oil (in a clean 60ml travel size flip top container, I added a full 10ml travel size of Nest Balinese Coconut & filled the rest with Neutrogena Fragrance Free Body oil. Actually, I do this with all my perfume oils.) I literally oil my full body and then I spray Garden on my body as well as my clothes. This is the only way I get a full 5 hours (that I can still smell) but almost 7 hours where I’m still getting compliments. So yeah, even though the performance isn’t that great, Garden (name doesn’t match the scent) smells absolutely amazing and I will absolutely buy another FB.

Dang this is good! It is quite milky similar to Lataffa her confession or Paris corners taskeen lactea divina (I’ve never tried blanch bette) I have plenty of coconut perfumes, Inknow cooconuut, this is as if you blended coconut with milk, milk milk not coconut milk. It has that lactonic touch but blended with the coconut and the florals. The dry down is that with the lovely warm powdery sandalwood! With that said it is beautifully done! I can see how this can be too much in high heat if you’re going to be outdoors the whole time, but if it’s summer and you’re indoors it’s fine as it is a tropical scent nonetheless, just a tad more decadent and gourmandish than a typical suntan lotion scent. The coconut and ylang it is a sweet tropical vacation! Snagged me a little 1oz pre loved bottle and I might go through it quickly and may need to get myself another one!

SO SWEET AND PERFECT!!! Allthough the bottle design seems to look more floral fresh and made for spring, the scent is a tropical creamy coconut and ylang-ylang fantasy. It really makes me think of Hawaii, Honolulu to be exact. It was made for summer, it is feminine, creamy, dreamy, yet somehow fresh too. And for a coconut lover like me, this is a perfect EDP that also projects and lasts forever. I AM IN LOVE!! Definitely a beach fragrance, something tropical that makes everyone's mouths watering instantly. You get the most creamy and yummy Coconut, Ylang-Ylang, followed by the Frangipani, and yummy, gourmand and creamy Vanilla Absolute, Almond Milk, and Mandarin Orange. Light fresh touch as well with the Neroli and Magnolia, then a subtle depth and richness with the Sandalwood. 100% Coconut girl Y2K aesthetic I love it. 10/10

As someone with a pretty large perfume collection, not to sound snobby, but I don't often buy popular designer frags. However, D&G is my FAVORITE designer house, and it's HOT here in Texas, so I bought and sprayed. So yeah, it smells like sunscreen--what's wrong with that? It's a bit synthetic--but not any more synthetic than Tom Ford's Soleil Blanc, a mainstay for me during the summer months. Honestly, this is very pleasing--it's not a "great" frag, but it doesn't have to be. It's a pleasing, light, airy, sweetly-floral sunscreen scent, and dang it, I just want to smell good. BTW--random plug for beachy frags--if you like this one, light, airy and sweetly femme, you might also enjoy the fruity floral sister frag, D&G's Light Blue Italian Love, which is juicier and has more apple, but you'll swear there's coconut, too.

Hands down the best summertime Dolce Gabbana scent created! I mean in the Dolce Collection and also in the regular priced line! I am aware that Light Blue or LB Intense takes all the spotlight as the best summer/holiday scent from this house but it doesn’t even hold the candle to this! I own both of them and they go in different directions, but this is my favourite! This is the best tropical floral designer fragrance if we consider scent, price and performance. Dolce Garden ticks all the boxes for me. It’s a gorgeous, luxurious, thick, warm, creamy, frangipani, ylang ylang, magnolia, coconuty concoction with a great performance and for an affordable price! The almonds and the sandalwood add a creamy feel and more depth! I can not recommend this enough for anyone who loves this scent profile!

In the opening, I get a slight citrus burst. It quickly fades away and leaves a coconut floral scent. I’ve always described this as smelling like dried, sweetened chunks of coconut meat. This is met with some floral backing. As it wears, it does begin to turn into syrupy and delicious coconut and vanilla as the base notes intensify. It lasts well and I’ll find myself getting wafts of it as I move throughout the day. Whenever I wear this, I just want to keep smelling myself! One point I’d add is that the florals in this are creamy florals. Don’t be turned off by them if you prefer gourmands; this fragrance is one I’d easily put in the gourmand category, especially as it wears. When I’m done with my 5ml decant, I plan on purchasing a full bottle. It’s the best coconut fragrance I’ve tried!

This is the creamiest vanilla almond coconut I’ve tried. So yummy to me. I definitely do get a few whiffs of tropical flowers, but coconut is the star player here. This is a HEAVY coconut though, giving the impression of drinking a thick vanilla milkshake. Not a summer coconut at all, and I have to be careful in spring as the weather warms. This is nice for a breezy but sunny day, and a very cozy one for winter, but wearing this in the summer is too thick and cloying. This coconut has nothing to do with sunscreen, this is a gourmand coconut so honestly I’m a little perplexed at sunscreen comparisons. Lasting power is okay, for something so full of body it really only lasts 4 or 5 hours on me after 2 sprays.

This one is a true love for me. The name is deceptively nondescript - “garden” - but it’s anything but the basic floral this name would suggest. The coconut note in this perfume is the star of the show but it’s not your basic synthetic or overly sweet coconut. It almost feels a little sea breeze salted with its subdued and nutty sweetness, and it blends demurely and perfectly with the prettiest tropical flowers for the creamiest, dreamiest island girl experience. This is what you dreamed the tropics would smell like as a child. This smells like the tropical islands illustrated in childhood books and cartoons. People saying this doesn’t smell like a garden have not smelled the garden this has so masterfully captured. 1996 in Southern California, my abuela’s backyard patio garden. I was too young to know and appreciate what the thick, sweet tropical florals were that wafted through the air, but even then I knew it was pure magic. The smell has always stayed with me even though those summer days and her are long gone to my world. I’m sobbing with joy writing this, because this scent has brought me a piece of peace I didn’t think I’d ever be able to find again. This has not only brought me to that garden again, but brought back so many of my favorite, happy memories. I miss you abuela.

Despite some not so good reviews, this is one of the very few sweet fragrances that are 100% warm weather appropriate to me! If you want a summer fragrance that's not citrussy or aquatic, this is your best bet! It's a creamy coconuty floral with some powderiness that gives off a clean vibe. It smells so young and ethereal! The smell is almost tropical to me, but not in that classic fruity way - maybe it's the coconut or idk. It also lasts pretty long despite not being an "in your face" fragrance! I'm not much into gourmands and this has a gourmand HINT or NUANCE but i think it's absolutely beautiful and even floral lovers like myself would really like this one!

This is such an easy reach in my collection. It's a beautiful creamy white floral with coconut milk and a vanilla almost powdery base. I get the almond in the base as well as the vanilla and coconut. But if you wear it in the eight season you also get the tropical almost fruity top notes. I was really surprised to smell those peak through this morning as it's been months since I've worn this fragrance. It's also pretty strong and has decent longevity on my skin. I like to later with the BR540 lotion. I think that combo elevates the scent. Highly recommend this one and can be found for a good price at discount pharmacies.

My plan was to give this to my neice as she is the recipient of all my unwanted fragrances but I decided to give it one more try and I'm glad I did. This opened up beautiful today in the scorching heat. It's almost like the heat cooked the vanilla and coconut to produce this beautiful creamy coconut and vanilla concoction that I'm loving as well as the people that I've encountered. Ordered another bottle and straight to the top shelf this beauty went. I love it!!! The key is not to over spray. Longevity is 12 hrs plus and you will get noticed. Edit- yes, this definitely likes to be heated up.

Dolce Garden is not truly a "garden" fragrance. It is a tropical, buttery coconut fragrance that is a bit reminiscent of sunscreen. This was my introduction to the sunscreeny, tropical type fragrances and I really love this scent profile. This is a very strong floral coconut with a generous dose of creaminess. It has excellent projection and longevity and I see this as being a very versatile fragrance that is great for day and night depending on time of year and occasion. I cannot recommend it enough for people who are interested in trying a full-bodied, creamy, buttery, yet fresh coconut.

FULL BOTTLE WORTHY. Not a fan at first spray. Still wasn’t into it a while later, as I conked out on the couch for a spell. But when I awoke, this beauty had completely transformed! Rich, soft, dense, warm, fruity, creamy, and enveloping. Intoxicating florals with a citrus bite. The coconut and neroli are strong with this one. The level of sweetness is just right. It is femininity perfected. Could pass for a warm weather flanker of Blanche Bête. JHAG Lust for Sun had been my main contender for a tropical frag full bottle - until this one came along. It’s a must-have.

I've had it and my favourite thing to do before a date night or if i want to smell particularly sweet is spray my clothes the night before so it has time to air. After the initial florally scent goes away it leaves a sweet coconutty scent that smells like a milky candy but one that's not overpowering. Though I will say if you're not a fan of floral scents this probably isn't for you. It's like a modern more clean twist on floral scents. It's youthful yet mature and not old lady. This is definitely my first-love perfume and it has a special place.

This grew on me and became a favorite to the point that I've bought many samples and suddenly can't find it for sale anywhere because it's December. RATS!! On first spray it is fresh, faintly fruity and very floral to me- like flowers and honeydew almost. There's also a creaminess that is not gourmand. I do get the coconut. I love how it smells later in the day, just creamy and clean; the creaminess becomes the strongest voice and really smells like skin. The worst part is the lasting power, though- only a few hours on me even if I drown in it.

I really enjoy this fragrance, it’s quite hard to describe the scent. It’s very floral, but also very creamy, I really enjoy the coconut in this fragrance too as someone who doesn’t usually like coconut as a fragrance note. All of the notes blend very well together and it’s hard to pick specific ones out. It’s gotten sweeter smelling as it’s macerated which is lovely. Definitely a winter time scent for me though, as it’s a little too cloying in the heat. This also lasts forever on clothes, I can still smell it for days after spraying.

Yes yes YES! I got this perfume off someone for 20€ thinking I didn’t want to spend too much on a blind buy. Also because “garden” was very misleading and I thought it might be more of a floral scent but I was WRONG. This is a sweet, tropical, coconutty scent just like I love them. It’s creamy, it’s sexy, it’s sunny (?), you get the sweetness of the coconut and the almond milk combined with the not too present yellow florals. Honestly I think that it’s a perfume that’s easy to love but it’s done well!!

Ordered this baby today and cannot wait to receive it! Dolce Garden has been on my wishlist for over 6 months based on a decant I had, but I kept putting it off because those around me kept telling me it’s nothing special. I don’t care anymore and want to have this super comforting scent in my collection! Yay! P.s. I cannot believe this is so potent. I wore this to bed 10 hours ago and just now woke up in a sweet cloud of Ylang Ylang, frangipani and coconut. Life is beautiful!

This has grown on me from a like to a love. I'm not partial to a coconut note, it's actually repelling most of the time, but this just has something strangely addictive about it. It lasts forever on my skin and clothes and I just keep getting wafts of smooth creamy coconut and yellow flowers. Its taken me completely by surprise. It's such a quick easy reach fragrance and so feminine. This is my favourite Dolce & Gabbana perfume ever. 😍

A lovely mixture of florals and a creamy almond and coconut. As others have said, all of the notes blend so well with eachother that I can’t really detect anything super specific! But this is definitely a creamy floral perfume, that is really cozy. The longevity of this perfume is fantastic! I find I need to be careful and not overspray as otherwise this can become quite cloying (especially in heat). One of my favourite perfumes 🌸🥥

This is my favorite spring perfume. The top note is very floral. Can’t miss it. It smells creamy on top of it. It’s just amazing. A lot of people don’t like it because the floral scent is very strong. But if you love florals like me, then definitely must have. It is very strong, but subtle at the same time, and it lasts pretty much all day. I feel like this can also be worn in the summer. It can also be worn and the early fall.

One of my favorites!!! All the notes blend beautifully together to create a wonder summery beachy scent. It’s pretty balanced too in my opinion,it doesn’t scream coconut overload,it’s more of a creamy coconut with hints of floral,vanilla,sandalwood... Longevity and sullage are moderate but this is one that if i overspray can turn headache inducing immediately. Otherwise I absolutely love this perfume and wear it year round.

This is a soft creamy with a dash of organic sweetness scent. Its not bombastic. Its an intimate scent. It smells like coconut milk without added sweetners, preservatives, and other gunk. Its like the raw and organic room temperature kind. If someone wanted a gift for a teen, this is soft enough for them. Im close to 50 and I love it on me too though. Its subtle, crowd pleasing, and an innocent type of purity pretty.

It's such a creamy, delicious, happy and warm fragrance! I wear this when I want to smell like a tropical dessert. I couldn't tell you it smelled like coconut, I usually hate coconut-scented things. However, I can tell you that I own 4 bottles of Dolce Garden. When I wear this, I smell like I'm basking in creamy, milky sunshine under a clear blue sky, laying on the beach with my tanned glowing skin.

The perfect summer flormand, criminally underrated. Somehow it's a coconut, lactonic (almond milk) with tropical florals that are masterfully blended. This was my first lactonic fragrance but it wasn't an immediate love for that reason -- the milk was a bit nauseating if you're not accustomed. My bottle is a few years old and the longevity is excellent. $40 on the discounters

The bottle certainly doesn’t match the scent This is hardly floral but it’s still delicious It’s very much a gourmand. A floral gourmand. A milky tart flower but very very milky and almond y. I kinda like it but it may be sickly to some. I have to be in the mood for this. Think blanch bette or taskeen lactea divina minus the incense but with added tart fruits and florals

Just as I suspected I absolutely love it!!! It is suchhhhhh a beautifully blended scent 😍 it’s floral and feminine, strong yet soft, sweet and a bit beachy but its almost gourmand since it’s very creamy, coconuty and powdery. It’s perfect for spring and summer, I’m seriously considering adding the full bottle to my frangrance collection!!

This smell makes me smile and giggle. A very sweet and cute start, like a first kiss with your crush. Afterwards it's blending with the scin, making you feel good. I cannot identify any of the notes - a very smooth combination between fruits and flowers, that you will make you fall in love with no matter what you like. Smile in a bottle.

After lusting after this forever... I went on a cruise and they gave me on board credit , so I was able to get a full bottle in the gift shop.I was beyond excited! Didn't even get a chance to wear it and it got stolen from a home invasion 😭😭😭! I haven't mustered up the courage to buy another bottle.

I was finally able to smell this for the first time and I wasn't disappointed! Beware: it is VERY sweet. However, I adore sweet scents. On me, it smells like sweet coconut cream with a little bit of nuttiness. Absolutely stunning execution of a laconic coconut fragrance!

When I first got this I liked it but having ignored it for months and trying it again today, I really like it. It has all the notes I like, coconut, almond, orange and I can actually smell them in this deep, lovely scent. Looking forward to taking it on holiday.

I was suggested the fragrance recently and went to ulta to test it. At first I hated it- the spray on paper was too sharp/floral for me. But then I went back to test on my skin. I was sooooo happy with the dry down. So coconutty with floral. Smells so good!

This is very long lasting, sprayed this yesterday at around14:00 pm (layering it with sdj 62 cream and spray) And now its 13:19 monday YES THE NEXT DAY and i can still smell it on my wrists. btw its winter where i live. Not to mention it smells A MA ZING.
