Dolce Rose

this is a beautiful feminine fruity floral scent i am currently testing it out on my skin. the initial spray is very strong and fruity but as it dries down it becomes very soft and easy to wear. i typically don’t enjoy rose in scents but if they are done a certain way then i think they are lovely and this one is lovely. it is a clean fruity/floral scent that i am excited to keep testing as it is becoming hotter in my area (also i tried layering this with 3 lemperitrice from the same brand and it smells phenomenal so definitely try it if you end up purchasing this scent . to me this smells like delicious tangy fruit juice in the opening and then it dries down to a lovely floral scent .nothing ground breaking but i definitely am glad it’s in my collection i might even purchase a bigger bottle of it

Such a nice new scent for Spring! I actually really love this, but I have to admit I came super-close to returning it. It was a gift, and I had never smelled it before. Unfortunately the first time I tried it I was already wearing Delina and they clashed like crazy! In close comparison this smelled really sour. But with a fresh nose on a new day, I realized that this is a beautiful fresh rose scent, slightly sweet, and the dry down is softly vanillic (although no vanilla notes are shown). It's like a Spring fruit salad with subtle rose syrup drizzled on top. I absolutely love the red rose on top of the pink juice of the bottle. So glad I didn't return it! This is along the same lines of Dior Rose & Roses, and I think I might actually prefer this one. I'm going to do a wear-test comparison soon!

I love this! So many rose scents smell old and musty, this is fresh. I’m very surprised at some of the comments saying it’s sour or tart, I get none of that. It’s on the sweeter side on my skin, with rose being the dominant note I keep smelling. It has decent sillage and longevity for an EDT and is great for the warm weather. When I’m outside and a breeze blows it just wafts around me and my hair smells great from it. Kind of reminds me of the original Paris, although not as choking for sure! *Update: men love this on me! Lots of compliments wearing this in the heat of summer.”

Oh now this is NICE! Don’t be deceived by it being an EDT, this baby lasts! Not particularly in a beast mode way, but more like a fresh zingy musky dry down. Which I could still detect on my wrist a full 12 hrs after spraying. Normally would’ve never looked twice at this considering it has both apple and peach, but it’s the perfect mix allowing for a very tart and juicy opening followed by a nice shampoo (sort of Ocean Di Gioia vibes) scent bubble. If you like scents like Irresistible or Ocean Di Gioia, you may just like this. I sure do!

It definitely smells like a rose body wash but i personally love it. I have never likes rose scents but this is just such a fresh out of the shower scent that I think everyone needs for the days they don't want to smell like crazy perfumes just want to smell nice and clean. It lasts a couple hours, 3-4.

A soapy rose, fresh, clean, extremely wearable. Kind of the same category with Because I love you. But this is perhaps a little too discreet for how clean and pleasant it is. I would like to spray it in my nose,sometimes. 🤦♀️

I have tested it in a perfume store, this fragrance is Damask roses overwhelming any other ingrediants, in the top notes I smelled fruity notes with Damask roses then when the perfumes dry down fruity notes will moves to background and woody notes with musk base will be very clear to my nose mixed with Damask roses note. If you didn't smell this perfume before, I advise that you can blind buy if you interest rosy woody fresh fragrance, this perfume very simple and easy to love if you prefer scents similar to "Rose Goldea Bvlgari" or "You're The One Bath & Body Works", but not a dupe for any of them, there are simple differences. I think maybe you can find this fragrance in a mist if you was searching good in market, hence, this scent is easy to find a dupe of it with less price, but it may be a drawback of its stability for a shorter period. just looking at the 'reminds me of' section, i voted no on being similar to she wood by dsquared - i have that and i am testing rose today so can directly compare, it could be a smidgen similar to ... is it?? i looked at the marry me up there and meh, maybe a touch, but dg rose doesnt have the green freshness that marry me has - both are very pretty freshie florals though. OK ROSE tester card. first impression: smells just like when i pour a glass of Rose Wine - same dry background, same effervescence as bubbly rose and same fresh feel. now a few hours later: all that initial dryness is gone, theres a roundedness, sweet yet watery clean, its not thick and syrupy, it could be the berry - though not tart berry. the florals and fruits feel in the same clean smooth wet vein as linterdit (not same scent though). overall feel: a wet, smooth, sweetish fruit scent with the 'real rose wine' base peeking through, i dont feel its like a gourmand per se, more a realistic ice block - the real fruit ones vs the synthetic flavoured ones - know what i mean??

This is pretty, but it's too similar to other rose fragrances on the market. Perhaps if I didn't have any, I would consider purchasing this. The longevity and sillage are decent for an EDT, and the rose accord is tart and spicy, perfectly pitched between fresh and jammy. I wouldn't be disappointed if someone gave me a bottle of this; I just don't see myself wearing it very often, with so many other options available. I seem to gravitate to rose fragrances more than any other kind, but I have yet to find one that comes close to Nahéma for me, and whenever I wear another rose fragrance it seems to disappoint me by comparison.

A tart apple peach berry rose. I own Dolce Violet. Got a small bottle free with my Ulta points. I enjoy wearing it as I would this. IMO this rose and the violet are the best of the line. What you see is what you get. Fruity, light, girly but w/out the ambroxan base many of the others have. Maybe this has it as well but I don't smell it here or in the violet flanker. I love the bottles in this line and may pick up a small one of this. I do enjoy looking at them as they are so cute. I would reach for this in high heat or in the no perfume allowed areas and times when something light is called for.

This is a great everyday scent if you work in healthcare, with children or in an environment where perfumes are frowned upon. It's a classic floral-fruity scent with some powderiness in the drydown. Starts juicy, developes rosy and ends powdery soft soapy and ever so slightly (sandal)woody. Could easily be mistaken as a shampoo scent or a scented bodyproduct. Projection is moderate at best, longevity a classic eau de toilette, but if you spray on hair/clothes you catch a sweet uplifting perfume every once and a while. I bought a 75ml bottle from sale and am happy with my purchase.

This Dolce Rose is light and bright! Sweetish sourness of currant and apple with a rose and morning dew at the background. Nice and positive scent! It is suitable both for summer and winter. Longevity and sillage are excellent for toilet water. It seems to me that this Dolce Rose has something in common with Dolce Shine, except for sweet candies in the base notes of Dolce Rose. By the way, I can not smell a musk which is a big plus; only light rose, fruits and berries! A good fragrance for every day. The bottle is very pretty as the entire series of Dolce.

I enjoy this one! My favorite in this range is still the original Dolce, followed by Dolce Shine. This one is sweeter and more fruity than the others in the range while remaining light (it’s lighter than Dolce Garden). It lasted quite a while on me, and I’ve learned not to overspray it or the sweetness can become too much. But overall it’s a pretty, fresh, fruity floral with no sourness or overly sharp notes (which I’m sensitive to when they aren’t well balanced). It feels like a spring fragrance to me.

Easy reach for every ocasion. The fragrance is sweet, yet light and unoffensive. It used to be my signature scent few years ago. Though, I must agree with everyone, who can't smell roses in this perfume. A slightly soapy sugary red currant would be my closest guess. The scent is linear - the whole scent opens in the first minute, it will last for the next few hours and even days after wearing the dress, I would still recon the scent in them.

A tart peachy rose. The peach is stronger than the rose for me, a sharp almost unripe peach that pairs nicely with the red current. The rose is in the background. The scent starts out sharply green and then ripens and mellows to a deeper sweet fruity rose with damp green stems. It's really a nice and unusual rose with character. Unfortunately, the longevity is weak on me.

Definitely heavy on the red currant, with just enough sweetness. This has a surprising amount of depth and is slightly spicy. I could actually see it working for all seasons, not just spring and summer. It somehow does smell "red", like the bottle. It's a younger sort of rose scent, and the fruit is warm and a bit jammy. Very nice!

First designer frag I’ve liked in years. Sweet, fruity, girly but not juvenile to my nose. Reminds me of some of the Viva La Juicy options, not the saccharine ones. Less gourmand, but still...well, juicy. If you wore Viva La Juicy La Fleur but wanted a slightly more sophisticated bottle on your vanity you might like this.

This one is pretty, but a bit too tart for my liking. I agree that it has a sort of rose-apple-shampoo thing going on. I own quite a few rose fragrances; this isn't one I go toward often. The bottle though - so pretty. I'd like to try another fragrance from this line simply for the pretty rose-capped bottles.

This is quite sweet. I get red currant+apple+rose in the opening. It’s not interesting or unique, but it does smell pretty. For a sweet fruity floral in this line, I prefer Dolce Lily. The passionfruit gives a bit of tartness to balance the sweetness, and the rose note is softened by the lily.

This smells so familiar but I cant put my finger on it; like a shampoo I used to use. At first it is very fruity which I loved then it dies down to a more rosy somewhat fruity soapy scent. A really nice rose scent and rose scents aren't my favorite.

Quite a nice realistic rose wine scent, effervescent and sweeter than what in the bottle. Middle goes a bit nothing on me. Drydown is nice and gentle smooth, dry, rosae wine yet not actual wine. Woody floral fresh

This is a beautiful fresh rose scent. Reminds me of herbal essences rosehip shampoo. It also has the same dna as melrose place only more fruity and less powdery. Perfect for spring or summer.

Smells like a sweet rosé wine, it smells fresh kind of like a nice shampoo or body wash. I used up and enjoyed my sample but I’m still not sure that I need a full bottle.

I get more fruity notes with a light rose which is fine with me since I’m not a huge rose fan. It definitely performs like an EDT and fades quickly.

i prefer the softer, floral dry down to the initial sweet, fruity scent — cute either way though, smells like apple shampoo :) 🍏

So...this is essentially one of those perfumes that smells precisely how you'd expect, and how the bottle looks. It's a little fresh, and little crisp with that green apple and currant...like a sassy, but sweet sequence of fruit. It's uplifting. Rose is the main player, and it's fresh, modern, youthful, and safe. Add some white laundry musk for the drydown...and there you have it... A formulaic, but effective rose perfume for warm weather. Very *designer* smelling (that's not an insult), and very approachable. It's getting slaughtered by the cold air when I'm outside, but I'm sure this would absolutely bloom on a hot afternoon. Work appropriate? Depends on your workplace I suppose, but it's the sort of thing I'd personally label an "easy reach". 🌹 ☀️ 🍏

I don't find the typical top, mid, base vocabulary useful for this one. The first blast is very rose, but it is not an attractive or modern smell. It dissipates in under a minute. The next smell is currant and rose. It is less sweet than I would expect for this list of notes or this house or a 2020's scent, but rose is a sweet smell itself. If I put my nose right against my wrist I can smell pleasant but non-specific base notes. I didn't find this scent to project well or last. It reminded me of the Jo Malone experience. I was left with the choice between overspraying and overwhelming at the start or reapplying all day. I'll use up the sample, but it's not a full bottle for me.

I had a hard time by thinking of buying this one, because of a good discount in the local perfumery shop..but..I decided to do not. I do not feel much roses here whatsoever (although the bottle is so cute). All what I feel is a smell of synthetic vitamin C, also called ascorbic acid. (I used to drink those vitamins for lifting up my immunity in the colder season). I do not think that smell of vitamin C is something I need in my collection))? When this perfume gets dried down..I like it more, the way it performs, becomes more of vanilla.. uhh, there is not vanilla in the list here..but I certainly feel it..lol.

I tried this in store when it first came out and really liked it - it reminded me of that plastic doll-head smell that I get from scents like My Burberry Blush. I enjoyed it even though I wasn't really wowed by it. Ever since I was hoping a sample would come my way so I could properly test it out. I did receive a sample in a recent Macy's sampler box and got to use it once before it was all gone. And I don't really remember much. It smelled okay....but not special in any way. Definitely not remarkable. So far I only like Garden from the Dolce line.

This is a very uninspiring perfume. I was hoping the notes of peach and rose would make for a fresh-feeling, feminine scent, but instead what I got was a fragrance that reminds me of a nice shower gel you'd find in a hotel room. Completely forgettable, pleasant enough for the ten or so minutes you're washing, but something you'd want to fade before you put on your actual perfume. What a disappointing fragrance.

Another boring designer « synthetic » rose fragrance. It doesn’t smell bad at all but yes, meh you know what I mean. When it dries down and the alcool flew away, in its final breath (that arrives quite quickly to be really honest), it does smells interesting. But it’s on the SKIN and you have to press your nose to be able to smell it. Longevity is absolutely BAD.

Oooooh! I like this on paper. My only concern would be that I might smell too much like a fruit stand. I am getting a lot of peach smell and surprisingly little rose, but the next step would be to try it with my body chemistry, because I find that my body seems to prefer to hang on to the florals.

Initially, I get mostly a musky sourness, smelling like a blend of sprayed fragrances at a department store. Once the fragrance dried down, I can distinctly smell a flowery note, but I would not say that this is a scent dedicated to roses. It smells pleasant, but not unique or memorable.

I can smell sour, sweet, tart, and a little fermented. Citric fruit, crispy apple, berries, mature musk, florals. Not the perfect combination. Try it, you might think differently.

A nice woody rose with lots of tangy fruit. It's a fresh fruity floral. Gorgeous bottle!

I'm going to tag this as a dislike, not because I don't like the smell, but because this is pretty disappointing for D&G. It's a generic fruity/floral, and even though I like a lot of fruity/florals, this one reminds me of Justin Bieber's Boyfriend. My friend has it, I think she bought it for 12$ and it smells a lot like this. Not to mention it has longevity that is almost the same as this. It's essentially a celebrity perfume in a high-end bottle. Currant and rose is pleasant, fresh and a bit synthetic (especially the white peach). But as I said if you like the sound of that just get a celebrity perfume for half the price, trust me when I say you won't miss out on quality. This really isn't worth it. I thought it'd have a little more dignity, being a D&G frag and since I love so many of their perfumes, but this is pretty sad.

I really tried to like this, but it just isn't for me. This scent reminds me a lot of a VS body mist I used to own; Velvet Petals Radiant (I think this is still available on their website). I had to give that body mist away because the opening was so sweet and tangy that it gave me a headache and it overall just smelled really synthetic. This fragrance is a lot more toned down. It's not as sweet or tangy and the rose is more prominent, but that synthetic scent is still there. I also find the musk in this fragrance to be really screechy. It's all just a little too juvenile on my skin i guess. The performance of this fragrance is really good though, it lasts about 6 hours on my skin. Projection is pretty decent too!

Too sweet, not as sickening and cloying as Flowerbomb but close cousin. I’m mad at my self, second disastrous blind buy in the row 😭. It’s way too sweet, almost gourmand sweetness, heavy and cloying, if you like fresh light fruity florals don’t blind buy this one. I expected something sour or tart and fresh, but no this isn’t me.... staying power is good though.... Unfortunately 😝 .

Tried this on my skin the other day. It started off as a gentle, natural rose which i love. Within 1-2 hours it became cloying candy sweet, very artificial. I’m glad it didn’t have much projection because every time I went to sniff I was put off by the transformation.

This smelled ok, I was hoping it leaned more towards what people were saying about being shampoo-y. But for me it was a “generic” floral scent, with an underwhelming rose aspect. I barely got any rose which is what I was after.

Heavy dose of ambroxan ruins the fragrance, but if you like heavy amboxans, it might be good for you.

Dolce Rose: Sampled this recently and sadly it was disappointing. From initial spray on, Dolce Rose was overly fruity and sweet like a cheap body spray. I also did not detect any trace of rose in this. Very cloying and pulled at me causing a severe headache. The only positive is the bottle is cute but that's about it.

Initially, I loved this scent when first spraying it in the store. However I I doesn't mix well with my body chemistry and gives me a headache. Unfortunately I purchased a full bottle and now trying to find someone who will use it!
