Look, I don’t think cats&dogs needs perfume, but I tested Fefe today in Sephora and I liked it, I would wear it myself! I don’t understand how exactly it’s specifically designed for dogs, besides being alcohol free, because it smells exactly like a tropical leaning feminine fragrance, no joke! Yes, I honestly tried it just because I found ridiculous to make perfumes for dogs, but smells like any other exotic, floral feminine perfume. It’s a soft, sweet, creamy, musky ylang ylang forward fragrance with a sandalwood base. Again, I don’t understand what particularly makes this an animal scent, but smells awesome. I am a big tropical floral fan and I enjoy Fefe 100 %. You can make fun of me for saying this, but I like it. I would wear this!!! Would I buy this for my pets?? No, definitely not. I don’t find necessary perfuming cats&dogs...

Ok first of all, I got it mainly for myself than for my dog because that’s the secret marketing behind it so you got to relax. The bottle is big and the collar for the doggo is a big bonus so it has a big value actually. Smells nice and yes I’ll be using that not spraying it all over my dog. Smells fresh and you have some Byredo vibes there so it’s not tour causal D&G perfume in my opinion.

Haven't tried, but I understand why people would warn against putting perfume on dogs. If yours is clean and you keep yours in the bed, then this might not be a bad idea if you're careful. But keep it away from their face! In a perfect world, this is a lovely idea.

Tried this today at Ulta and I love it! I don't care if it's meant for dogs, I would wear it. Actually the best thing I smelled there today. Normally I steer clear of ylang fragrances, but this is light and fresh, and the drydown is such a clean woody musk.

The scent has some ylang ylang, sandalwood and synthetic musk. It has moderate projection and good longevity and smells nice. I think the lady dogs in the neighborhood will appreciate me smelling good. It is nothing crazy and has a cool metrosexual vibe to it. Yes, this was made for dogs. BUT, DON’T USE IT ON YOU’RE LITTLE FUR KIDS! It has too sharp smell, for human it would be good, for me it’s a perfect tropical scent for summer, like you drink a pina colada at the beach. But it’s absolutely not for your pets, they experience odours differently and even such a tropical scent can cause allergies or other not-so-positive reactions. My conclusion: for humans – yes, a 100%. for pets – ABSOLUTELY NO.

Smells exactly to my nose like Teo Cabanel Et Voila. Its fresh and clean scent which I like. Dont know how much of a "Dog" scent this is but its cute. Can be matchy matchy with the owner if he is wearing Teo's scent.

I only sprayed it on myself and can smell ylang ylang, it’s lovely but very soft and weak. I don’t think it will help my dogs smell better.

I understand that dog groomers will sometimes (absolutely not all of them!) Use fragrance for the dogs after a grooming session, but this is probably not a good practice and for that reason many ethical dog groomers will use none fragrance products only. Dogs have highly sensitive senses of smell and they tend to dislike perfumes and cosmetic smells on people. Even I notice this and I am not particularly a dog person! So I'm unsure why this company and people who claim to love their pets think this is a good idea. I'm even more astounded, from my personal knowledge of botany, that they agreed to use a plant that is toxic to dogs here. It contains Ylang Ylang - This is a toxic ingredient for canines! Who on earth agreed on this at head office and wouldn't check this simple fact? The essential oil of ylang ylang is far from dog friendly. So whoever wants to buy this toxic stuff for their dog, be warned - you are literally spraying your dog with something toxic to them. Please avoid this.

SERIOUSLY??? The world has gone mad! Why on Earth would I perfume my Dog so it has to be stuck with human perfume, which will affect their sensitive noses- which by the way is unique for just dogs... Im so upset about this.....D&G, spend you money on people who starves, help-organtisations, and stop making a fool of yourself!

Basically , it would be nice if we could use less perfume that is Poisonous to cats and dogs . Did you guys know that many flowers are poisonous ? For example , Carnations and Lily.are poisonous to our pets . Many people don’t even know that many Perfume Flowers Ingredients are Toxic to humans.

I have a little schnauzer, he'd literally roll in poo if I let him but he stays out of my perfume closet and acts like it's a nuclear reactor. I don't think this is really for dogs. It's for dog owners who take their precious to the groomer and has them dye Fido's hair pink, paint their toenails purple. Oh, I forgot, and they have those "beautiful" rhinestone collars on them. We do a lot of stupid things to our bodies in the name of beauty, but to impose something like this on an animal that can't wash it off on its own is just mean. I'd like to know which department of D&G thought this up, marketing? Edit 8/2/25: I smelled this at my dog groomers, I like it for myself and my little guy is ok with it on me, lol. Obviously I'm not putting it on him, he clearly doesn't like perfume, but for humans this isn't bad. It smells like vacation to me and it's cheaper than D&G designer perfumes and I like that it's alcohol free. Still, don't impose this on your pet, I know a lot of pet owners think their pets aren't opposed to fragrance but really, how many are just enduring instead of enjoying?

Being that my dog will regularly roll in the most disgusting things she can find whilst we're out walking, I very much doubt she would like to smell of perfume. I want my dog to smell like a dog - a clean one, if possible but her natural scent. I really hate the idea of my dog being sprayed with something like this; does this interfere with the process of when one dog meets another, and they sniff each other! Scent is important to dogs!

I don't get why people are in such an uproar about this? I bought this for my fur girl to use after her baths and I just give her one light spritz and that's it. Obviously I will discontinue use if I notice any skin issues arise or signs that she is uncomfortable with it. Groomers have been spritzing dogs with "perfume" for as long as I can remember. This is just a boujee expensive version of that.

Was shocked when I saw this in the pet section of a high-end department store (Didn't even know they had a pet section since it's on a floor I never go to) and think its an order of magnitude better than your run-of-the-mill city ho' that reeks of (enter store here) body mist AKA roach spray. screw the pooch, rub it onto your actual tramp - it comes with a collar too

this is really bad none should participate in it why would a dog which has a sensitive nose should use such a thing as a fragrance, regardless of the alcohol people are bored and having too much time on their hands put alcohol on it and market it as "the smell you should use so ur dog will want to sniff you" really on the verge of cruelty

All the poor people can’t afford anything more than bath and bodywork’s are complaining about a luxury scent for dogs. There is no such thing as "meticulously crafted fragrance for dog (or cat) sensitivity", they simply hate sporting fragrance on them, they don't like being touched by hands slathered in the most subtly fragranced cream, why would they enjoy ylang and musk sprayed on them??

Poor animals that have to wear it. It's kind of like a torture when your smell senses hundreds times stronger. Is like dogs would make a beef tallow or dog food fragrance for humans to spray on because they like it but completely disregard human nose.

How many sprays is recommended for my dog. I imagine three puffs behind each ear and two sturdy presses over the nose. Also, do I like need to restrain him, because he keeps recoiling when I try to apply his gourmand daily driver.

Do a search on 'pet perfumes'. There are literally dozens of brands. Regardless of whatever people are suddenly loving or hating about this, it is already very old news. As in a whole major market segment already exists for it.

If this smelled like our freshly washed blankets or body wash, our dog would love it. She goes nuts over both, but she moves away from me after I put on any freshly sprayed perfume.
