K by Dolce & Gabbana Eau de Parfum Intense

Wow! Where do I start this is such an underrated gem please do not go by the reviews you see on YouTube or the rating that you see on this site because it does not justify how well crafted this fragrance is. I always encourage people to please go out and try it on your skin before you make a final decision especially if you're new to the fragrance game. Because you really don't know how your skin chemistry will work with certain notes if you're in advanced then you have a better idea on how notes work. Now back to K intense this fragrance is amazing with high quality ingredients nothing synthetic here. The opening is bright and citrusy and really well done I saw comment where someone said that they wished that they replace the opening with honey I have to disagree I think the opening is perfect and draws you in. But the dry down is where the magic really starts to unfold the Fig saffron combination works beautifully it dries down to soapy creamy sexiness! The leather in this fragrance is not animalic at all it's more on the sweet side which isn't a bad thing because it still maintains its masculine scent profile and does not come off playful. In conclusion would I recommend this fragrance absolutely it's a great everyday blue fragrance with a twist. I do think the marketing could have been handled better by Dolce Gabbana because although it's in the blue category there's nothing that comes off as a blue fragrance in my opinion other than the dry down being soapy but even still there's a lot more going on here than your generic run of the mill blue fragrance. I like this fragrance so much it is currently replaced my Dylan blue as my grab-and-go everyday type of scent is that good it's sexy and it will Garner attention and compliments.

Ok, this will be my final review for this and then I'll remove a bunch of them. This is extremely underrated which makes it cool and quirky. It's very smart considering the saffron note, Italian enough, and extremely sexual without being dirty. Think of it this way: this is what a woman would ideal want a man to smell like... let's say she wants to get very nasty with you, you don't need a fragrance that is dirtier or animal, something that feels delicious and absorbs the girl and is clean works better. The fig, leather and saffron feel really sexual to me and then the blood orange and the lemon make the opening more impressive and interesting, however I would prolly prefer it if it wasn't a circus fragrance and used something like honey instead. Things to note that are interesting is that the perfumer of this worked with Hamid Merati-Kashani who did Layton which seems to be the new Aventus in the niche market, when she was making scandal gold woman and they used saffron and leather there too. And being Persian he knows how to use saffron. So you see there's quite a bit of thought and experience behind this. This is an Eau de Parfum, Roja Dove made a good point once and said that eau de toilette is more intense because there's more alcohol and alcohol evaporates quicker, and that's absolutely true, so consider this, it won't be as sharp and intense as an eau de toilette. It's pretty strong for a Dolce and Gabbana, since it's Eau de Parfum actually I think spraying more makes it work better.

I agree with a lot of others here and this cologne deserves at least a 4. First of all Dolce and Gabbana should have given this a better bottle and not just the darker version of the eau de Parfum. This definitely does deserve the name King if the K is to mean that however this is too good to be in the K line compared to the rest. I disagree with a lot of others who say it's very similar to the eau de Parfum. It's a little similar. They seem to market this as a saffron, fig and leather combo however according to this website it has some citrus but I highly doubt it since Dolce and Gabbana also doesn't mention anything but leather saffron and fig either. The combo is pretty smart and it does feel like a king unlike the eau de Parfum. The low rating seems to be because of the price but then again I can buy it very cheap in Italy now so it does get cheap. I've been testing a lot and nothing is like this in the market. The Prada eau de Parfum intense has got saffron but let me tell you as a Persian, it doesn't make use of saffron the way this one does. I've been liking D and G a lot and pour Homme is my favourite but among this and The One I would actually choose this. This is pretty cool. Longevity is great. Very charismatic feeling.

Not familiar with this line but found this today, a 100 ml for about $55, complete steal! It is a classic blue fragrance but one that has a lot of bite and little bit darker than your average Blue. The notes are very accurate to my nose, juicy fig and bity leather that mingles well with the saffron. Anosmia king however! I turned anosmic literally 5 seconds after first spraying this, but then it returned shortly after, strong push initially but relatively subdued projection later on. Longevity is solid 7 hours something territory. To me it belongs to the same family of Blues like Dylan Blue etc. Imagine you take Dylan Blue, add a lot of leather and amp up the fig and saffron and make the fragrance even darker. (I'm not saying they're identical, just that they belong on the same shelf of dark blues). No clue why K is seemingly not doing so well. Maybe too late on the Blue fragrance trend? Not a single one of the K's are at 4+ on here, that's unheard of for any major designer blue fragrance line. It's almost like a targeted hate campaign lol. I think the line is just not standout enough in an ocean of Blues. Late drydown is the typical ambroxan wood.

Well, i was interested in this one just because i like the EDT but find it flat in the drydown, and the EDP, although more dense and sweeter, didn't convinced me too. This is really different in the opening. Saffron is present, giving its fresh, metallic and slightly bitter nuance. Which is great because the fruity DNA of the EDP is toned down with the help of saffron. The soft leather note gives this fragrance a sophistication that I didn't expect. Really nice one. Super smooth, rounded and refined. I'll probably get a bottle of this. Not a everyday scent. I think this will be great on night time events, in spring or fall, but in a summer night will do great too. The up scale version of EDP. Dolce & Gabbana is doing great since they left Shiseido and became independent. Their fragrances are more refined, high quality, and interesting. Even the bottle, the put a new sprayer that is much better than the previous one. Good job D&G

I like this one a lot. I definitely consider this a blue fragrance, but with prominent green facets likely from the fig. If you didn't tell me it has leather, I don't think I'd know. As it is, the leather note is not heavy, rich, or dark in any way, but comes across very fresh but with some depth. This has a creamy and slightly powdery accord that's only mildly sweet and quite refined. It's not nearly as loud and brash as something like Sauvage, and it's more gentlemanly than Dylan Blue. I don't get a lot of projection but very solid longevity, making this a good safe office scent or something to wear in more subtle situations. This one is super versatile for any season and any occasion. It was very reasonably priced (less than $50 for 100ml) and I consider it a great value at that price. If you're looking for a classy easy reach blue/green scent that lasts, this one is well worth considering.

My preferred scent. Got it as a christmas gift 2 years ago from my girlfriend, and holy shit is it good. Leathery, fresh, slight fruity notes(fig), an overall sexy smell. The sillage is strong enough to fill a small room, and the longevity is insane. I work as a barman, around food areas, around smoke, around alcohol and this so far is the only perfume that survives the 10+ hour workday. I genuinely don’t know, how it is possible, but this for me is right up at the top of all the perfumes I have ever tried. The all worthy, holy, Creed Aventus can go hide behind a tree from this. I swear by God, this outperforms many niche and much more expensive products. On a discount site you can pick this bad boy up for less than 100 euros for a 100ml bottle. Absolute banger, if you are into proper fresh, leathery, dominant masculine scents you have to pick it up!

Great Release! Despite the listed notes, this is a very much fresh fragrance with a strong body that can be worn all 4 seasons. There's alot more going on than just safron, fig and leather (it's a smooth leather). K edp Intense does smell fresh/clean/spicy and a little bit sweet in it's sillage, but when you smell it up close it smells like a combination of smooth leather, spices and some woods. It's very modern, well blended, mass appealing, versatile and unique in it's own way. To me K Intense Edp performs exactly like Y Edp Intense, 2 hours of strong projection and then 7-8 hours where it will radiate moderately off your skin. I was never supposed to smell this, but glad i did. Signature worthy scent, i highly recommend people to try this if you're looking for a unique fresh scent that can be worn all 4 seasons.

This is very similar to the EDP, but more concentrated on main notes. The fresheness of the juniper berries and geranium is gone, the lavender and cardamom combo is also gone, and what remains is a sweet version of the citric part of the EDP, accentuated by the Fig and saffron. Overall, I like it, it is a colder weather version of the regular EDP (EDT is mostly for sweaty summer days). I almost did not get it because of online reviews, but now that I have it, I realize they were a tad fake-ish or biased. Youtubers bashed this release based on what it is not, or because it is not as fresh as the EDP, or because it lost a note from the EDP (wt..?) or anything what it is not, and not on the actual smell of it. I would hesitate to use this on summer though, it would be a tad cloying for hot weather.

This is really a high-quality, refined, "delicious" fragrance. It belongs to the "blue" genre, but has its unique touch through elegant use of fig, saffron and leather. It really feels fresh, calm, soothing; and achieves this "blue feeling" while still being distinct. Got multiple compliments, and bottle design is gorgeous. For your information: yes it is called "Intense", but you can definitely wear this fragrance in spring, because it evolves to a calm, soothing, masculine profile. Longevity and projection is also nice. I would give a perfect score to this elegant Dolce & Gabbana. My favourite from the K line. I am happy with my purchase and considering to make it my signature scent.

Blood orange with a hint of lemon and a nice contrast of leather in the backround. The fig is prominent throughout the entirety of it's life and is dominant in it's honeyed smell. For the most part you can only make out the blood orange and fig in the beginning then it smooths down to a nice chewy leather mixed with a honey aspect. Longevity: 7 Hours Sillage: Projects well for the first 2 hours then becomes a skin scent Uniqueness: Quite different from most blue fragrances and gives it a nice juicy depth while still keeping that "blue" aspect Rating through 1-10: 8/10. I like how different it is from it's competitors and the juicy depth that it gains from the blood orange and fig.

Really like this one. The sweet fig is prominent for me right behind the initial burst of blood orange. Suprising that this one is rated less than a 4.0, but then again, it's Fragrantica.... In fact, I think this whole line gets overlooked. This is yet another "leather dominant" fragrance that doesn't smell heavily of leather to me, and I'm not mad about it. I think the leather just thickens up the scent as a whole and gives it more staying power. Longevity is above average for me. Don't think this smells like Kenzo Homme EDP. I like both, but they're not the same. You can wear this one year-round. Heavy enough for winter but light enough for summer.

How can we know if it really has citrus or not? I don't think so. And why is this listed as a cold scent? What? Leather saffron and fig... Leather fruity sweet warm spicy but suitable for summer as opposed to winter? What's going on here? This is a warm scent. And it's interestingly the only Dolce and Gabbana designed and distributed in house. Dolce and Gabbana seems to have been lazy and didn't design a new bottle and literally put the new juice into the old bottle. They literally state that as if it's something to be proud of. This is definitely not what they call a blue scent.

I don't know why people still don't understand idea of higher oil concentration, and i am super glad that professional perfumers knows what they doing and also wish there was an elixir edition of K line. We are very close to smooth transition between the lines, and this one almost blends with The One EDT :) But there is still a gap between K EDT and Light Blue. I believe that rating fragrance should be forbidden for those who have been cursed with noseblind. New edition with higher oil concentration does not mean replacing the other ones!

I owned the normal edp and I didn't like it, too screechy and gave me a headache. The leather on this does calm it down and makes it slightly less bright. It still has the same citrus n fig. I think it smells slightly old school. On me it lasts all through the work day and projects pretty well I still clearly smell it after a full day. Overall I think it's a classy and long lasting with a max 3 sprays, it's unusually enough to make it worth having without being weird enough to not be a blind but. An autumn and winter blue for sure.

Amazing! My husband tried this a few months ago and we couldn’t stop thinking about it (the fact that the test strip spent weeks smelling so nice in our car didn’t help) and ended up purchasing a bottle. The performance is great, and we do smell figs and leather here. I can’t compare this to anything else, but the complexity and type of fragrance do remind me of Bleu (parfum), which is my favorite men’s fragrance. It’s kind of juicy and citrusy, but it’s also smoky and sweet, so I can see this working in colder months.

To me, this is a citrus-dominant fragrance. I don't prefer citrus fragrances, but the fig accord gives the citrus a juicy depth and the leather accord gives the entire composition a chewy density. The adjectives I used to describe this fragrance would be more appropriate to describe the qualities of a gourmand fragrance, but this fragrance's overall "delicious" quality is a result of its darker elements balancing well with its citrus characteristic. This makes this fragrance unique, versatile, and signature-worthy.

I got a sample and I was blown away. Compared to the original, this one is deeper, smoother, and feels much more refined. The opening has a nice spicy and citrus kick, then it dries down into something warm, earthy, and slightly sweet. I honestly recommend picking this up. It is very masculine and classy, perfect for everyday, and is very versatile. The longevity is solid at around 7–8 hours, and it projects nicely without being overwhelming. After testing it, I know I need a full bottle. This is the one!! 5/5

There's something about this one. I sprayed some on my skin at Dillard's and didn't think much of it until I left the mall and sat in the car. Could not stop smelling myself. Thought about it for months and eventually bought myself a 3.3 The opening fades quickly to reveal a deep and mysterious, yet somehow fresh and clean masculine scent. My woman likes when I wear this one. It is a little too intense for the real hot days so I can't recommend it for summer. Futher testing needed.

I smelled this at Macys and loved it from the opening to the dry down an bought it as soon as i got home. Imagine leather with green woods and a hint of sweetness/freshness. Sillage is about 3 feet and longevity for me is 7 hours. On clothes its 10+. I usually spray 5 times and im good to go. How this frag is sub 4 ratung is beyond me and this is coming from someone with over 50 colognes from cheapies to high priced niche colognes. Definitely one to add to your collection

SHOCKED to see this at a mid-3 something rating, and the Kenzo edp at a low-mid 4 something. This is so much better than the Kenzo, but all the Bisch fanboys love that one, when this is much, much better! Same wheelhouse, but this one is actually wearable. And people won't give you dirty looks when they smell it, like they do with the Kenzo. Don't ask me how I know. The rating needs to be flipped lol...

Only this has gotten compliments and the compliment wasn't ordinary... it's like she was amazed by how it smelt... she was like che buon profumo.

I like this. The edt is way underrated. Edp didn't impress me at all. The intense simply intensifies the edt dna. Bright, fresh & clean. Bet on ppl to say it's not groundbreaking, as if the world expected a designer to be groundbreaking. There is "easy to like" and then there is "difficult to like". Designers are for the easy way

This is a sleeper, boys – highly underrated. Ladies do seem to find this sexy, if compliments are your thing. Performs well above average. May be moderately mature (late 20's+). There is a resemblance to Kenzo Homme EDP, though its not as edgy as the Kenzo. This is a bit sweeter, more fruity, and smooth. I own and love both.

I've been looking for a scent like this one, leathery with sweet notes and to my tastes this perfume definitely provides just that. It smells great. I also find it strange that so many people rated this edp's longevity as moderate or very weak, my clothes still reek of it after 3 puffs and 2 days lol.

I kinda like that no one cares about this fragrance, I love the smell and people around me like the smell. Another plus of no one buying this fragrance, it's super cheap now! It's still a blue somewhat fresh fragrance which can be boring as I have so many of them, but this one still stands out.

Wow! I received a sample from my partner and the next day I rushed out to buy a nice 50ml bottle just for myself...what can I say, even though it's classified as a men's perfume, I find it very elegant and unique on a woman too, and people have complimented me on it! Ladies, give it a chance!

Fue compra a ciegas y se ha con convertido en uno de mis preferidos, es un aroma fresco jugoso, puedo detectar el higo y la madera, no encuentro el cuero por ningún lado pero no me interesa. Así esta perfecto! Olor bastante versátil Definitivamente compraré otro cuando se termine mi botella.

Found a travel spray at Ulta on 1-25. I don’t understand all the hate because this flanker is nothing like the others. Much more longevity, great sillage. Got plenty of compliments as a restaurant server during my shift. Now a day later it’s still on my clothing AND skin. I’m a fan.

8 hours longevity-good to strong 2 hours sillage-could be better Its a classic ,,blue" fragrance, you will defo smell good and get compliments. I feel this fragrance is gate-keeped and it should be that way,if your fine with the performance go for it !

I love this fragrance. It has a spicy almost Sauvage feel but it's classier, less artificial. I think it has sandalwood and it's got a creamy woodiness. It feels like an old fashioned masculine fragrance but in a modern way.

absolute beast, personal favorite. lasts around 6-7h projection is sweet in a masculine way. the fig and leather notes blend in just too well. great for the summer smell: 10/10 projection: 9/10 sillage: 7/10

Perfect all rounder for me, I can safely wear it to work or the gym, I find myself reaching for it constantly and almost down a large bottle. When in doubt apply K, love this stuff.

An overwhelmingly pleasant fragrance. Sweet florals hidden in the fig really shine this time around completing the “K” experience. A unique offering in today’s designer fragrances.

I bought it two days ago. The scent notes are amazing, and I think its longevity is quite good. It's definitely a masculine fragrance with an attractive vibe.

the 3.67 is given by fuckboys who wear Sauvage, y and the original k. This is the best mainstream fragrance of the 2020's.

Its really good, but glazeing and opinion aside... that atomizer is the best ive had the pleasure of useing so far.

This fragrance deserves alot more love and appreciation, there's truly nothing like this in the designer market.

I cannot tell the difference between this one and the original K EDP. Someone enlighten me?

K by Dolce & Gabbana Eau de Parfum (EDP) Intense is an aromatic, woody and leathery fragrance. The opening is slightly fresh and aromatic, the DNA of the line is perceived where the fruity aroma of fig is maintained, with aromatic elements of juniper berries and spices such as pepper that they had already handled in both the EDT and EDP versions and now adding saffron too. The main difference with this new version is that now the sweetness that was maintained in the two previous versions has been slightly reduced and they have added a leather accord that makes it less bright or in other words they make it more opaque and mature, but it is still being clean in style. The leather accord appears almost from its opening, but it gains greater presence as the minutes go by, giving a more formal and mature touch to the aroma, a bit like what Montblanc did with Legend in its EDP version (not that they are similar, but that's the impression it gave me). Despite the spices and the leather accord, the fragrance still seems four-season to me, although in summer we find better options, which is less versatile or at least it seems that way to me, since I feel it is more formal. , for an office work environment, with a management position, etc. Its longevity is good between 7 to 8 hours, however its sillage is lower in this EDP Intense version, because the leather accord has more presence than other aromatic components that facilitate greater projection. I had been indifferent to the K line with its EDT and EDP versions, however this EDP Intense managed to catch my attention and personally it is the one I liked the most. I still haven't decided if I'll buy it, but I'll try it again to see if I reaffirm what I've liked so far.

The fragrance I recently experienced has a remarkable depth and complexity that truly stands out. The scent unfolds in layers, starting with darker citrus but doesn’t stay to long to me, I feel like it starts to change within 30 minutes .The base notes linger beautifully, with the leather keeping everything together but it’s soft leather which I personally prefer offering a sense of sophistication and allure that is hard to resist. However, while this fragrance is good, I'm hesitant to recommend it for hot summer days. Its richness and intensity might feel overwhelming in the heat, potentially clashing with the lighter, fresher vibes typically suited to warmer weather. It seems more fitting for cooler evenings or special occasions when its depth can be fully appreciated without competing with the sun. The day I sprayed this on at ulta , the temperature was 94, so If it was me , this wouldn’t be something I would reach for those super hot summer days

I've tried this a couple of times now, I'm surprised at how much I like it as I'm not a big fan of the original EDT nor the EDP (although that one is a little better). This EDP Intense is a bit more of a departure, like a classier and at the same time more daring take on the K formula. I don't think this smells like Kenzo Homme EDP but I suppose it could be used for similar occasions. In some ways it's like a flanker to K with a touch of Burberry Hero EDP or Parfum. But essentially this is it's own thing. @ pneuma333 - I don't find the two fragrances to smell alike, perhaps a similar mood but this doesn't have that sharp/salty signature Kenzo homme (modern line-up) scent, .

This fragrance I’ve never smelt in my life before. I am currently on a trip in Singapore and I smelt it and fell in love instantly which is rare with a fragrance. I bought it straight away and no regrets whatsoever. My first impressions, smelt exactly like nostalgia of my first fragrance I wore, Lynx/Axe Gold. Smells exactly like that, and I’m so so happy I found something like it as it was my favourite smell as a kid. But besides the nostalgia it really smells good, but it’s definitely a smell before you buy because I can see how some people wouldn’t like it.

This fragrance has a strange polarity of warm and cool simultaneously, though leans more warm. I can't quite describe the scent, but it's reminiscent of a fresh and clean shower-like scent, but in a more sensual and spiced way. It's pleasant and fresh, and would make a good daily driver.
