K by Dolce & Gabbana Parfum

Wow. This one is great. Just goes to show, the score doesn't ALWAYS reflect accurately, as some that dislike this line will come here just to vote it down. You need to like the K line, or at least be familiar with that DNA, to appreciate this one. If you don't like the base DNA, you will probably talk shit on this one too. I like the K line, but LOVE the intense. That flanker is excellent. This one blows the intense out of the water. This stuff is incredible. Full bottle worthy for sure. Notes look heavy, but the fragrance wears lighter than you'd think. But it has really good longevity, and sillage that is noticeable but not overpowering. The fig is glaringly evident, almost a superdose of it. Combined with the caramel, it just works. I dislike vanilla in fragrances, and nowadays so many things are dialed up to 100 with vanilla, this is a nice change of pace. Sweet, but in a completely different way. Go ahead and dismiss this straight away if you want, but I'd recommend trying it first, then make up your mind. You still may not like it, but I personally am going full bottle on this offering. I really like this one. Maybe when it hits discounters, though. RRP is too high on most everything these days.

To me this does smell like its predecessors. Predominately the EDP intense. But it’s definitely the best from the bunch. This is the K dna perfected and if you love the EDP or EDP intense you will love this one. It’s deeper and richer, more seductive. And surprisingly pretty versatile. Now the performance doesn’t seem to be anything crazy and slightly a letdown. As a Parfum you’d expect it to sit closer to the skin which this does. Its projection is quite low. The longevity is fine I’ll smell it after a whole day of work. If the projection was amped up this would be one of my favorites. Also I may just go nose blind to this dna quickly, i had the same problem with the other ones.

I haven’t really familiarised myself with the previous flankers. Of course Iv smelled them but I forgot how they smell. So my judgement is not influenced and I’m not comparing. This is very nice. Well rounded, quality, deep. Off the top it smells like generic sweet blueish fragrance but after 10 minutes it starts developing and the fig really starts really shining through. It becomes a bit salty, caramely, sweet, I also get a bit of leather. Super mass appealing Dries down to a smooth sophisticated, sweet, woody fragrance with a touch off fruitiness from the fig. You can wear this all year round for sure solid 9/10 in it’s category

I like it.. Very pleasant fig, woods and spice. Can't tell if I like this one or the EDP Intense more, but both are great in my book. I think it reminds me of Mancera's Silver Blue.... or maybe Pasha de Cartier Parfum... Will test this out and update... Update 6/17/25 All three of the fragrances I mentioned above have a little overlap in that, to me, they come of as woody, warm and spicy. I think K Parfum is the sweetest (not overly so) of the three and would definitely be the most mass appealing, although they're all good in my book.

Man this stuff is good, I’ve never bought a licorice nor Carmel fragrance before so I was a little nervous but, this stuff is damn good. Licorice and Carmel notes aren’t what you’d expect the mix with sandalwood is amazing, who knew that would be a good blend.also someone said it smells picklely after a few hours, that’s just not true at all. What you smell After like 15-20 minutes is what you get for the next 4-5 hours

Tried it after i recieved a sample. Bought 100 ml the next day. Its very smooth and does not feel itchy to your throat or nose which makes it safe to any occasion and not irritate your surrounding folks. the sandalwood lasts 6h+ for me. I am not a fan of fruity perfumes but this one is very pleasant. Pair it up with JPG le male parfum and its next level!

Licorice forward with a dark nutty-fruity drydown bittersweet and masculine smell, it took time to grow on me but I ended up enjoying it Not to be worn casually, bold presence and not a mass appealing fragrance stronger than average performance

Something about the K dna really resonates with me. I'll agree this isn't 100% like its predecessor, but I still believe it holds up on its own.

I am suprised ginger is not on the list of notes for this fragrance, personally i think it smells quite like sweet ginger. Really good perfume.

Got a free sample through Influenster, expected the worst because of my feelings towards the rest of the line (moderate dislike of all), and ended up pleasantly surprised. Lightly fig-sweetened caramel and sandalwood. The caramel itself is hard to pick up beyond just sweetness, and the licorice blends into the sandalwood so it's not super pronounced - therefore, I'd say it's still a relatively safe, designer scent profile that doesn't do anything particularly interesting with the listed notes. That is to be expected from such a mainstream line though, which this one is absolutely the best of as well as the only one I will probably wear myself this coming spring. I actually quite like it for what it is. Probably not full price full bottle worthy for me, but at a steep discount or as a gift I'd keep it on the shelf. That is saying a LOT for a K flanker - I really do not like any of the others and would trash them before giving them to anyone I consider a friend, lol.

A blind buy after enjoying the EDP Intense and the EDP. The immediate opening is particularly good, like a fuller take on the EDP Intense. For a little while after that I get some similarity with Cavalli Uomo (original formulation). That then dissipates and becomes a bit more woody and rounded. The core DNA is still there, but is surrounded by a more old school masculine vibe (the sort of vibe you get with Sauvage Elixir, but it certainly isn't an attempt to mimick it). I can't decide if I'll keep this one or not, but it's certainly interesting enough to use a few times and see how I feel about it. I think if more of the EDP Intense was to be found in here then it would be really good; it would benefit from that blue-ish vibrancy.

This one is deep and a sensual and captivating fragrance, reminiscent of the sweet scents of oriental spices, smells sweet but not too much, clean and sexy, self-confidence and masculinity, it’s a bit different from the K line DNA but on a good way even though the DNA is still there ,less fruity than the previous release, I think this fits in many occasions, it’s pleasant, mass appealing, compliment getter, Like a conversation starter in a room. I like this version of K line 🥰🔥🔥😍

This one does not smell much like the three previous releases, this one is sweet and woodsy with a licorice in the background, the licorice is not to overpowering, the scent it self is ok but i wasn' t blown away by any means, it smells nothing like dior elixir at all, and the longevity was ok not that great, but a nice release if you like sweet scents i guess.

This perfume reminds me kinda of Dylan Blue but it has a sweeter touch to it and last longer on my skin than Dylan Blue. It smells sweet but not too much, clean and can be worn all the time imo. It's projecting ok and I got a couple of compliments wearing this. Even after 6 hours I could smell it on me. Might be a bit overpriced

Nice sweet caramelized scent. More woody, less fruity than the previous ones. It semms light though. Need to make a full wear to really test it. But it's Nice.

My fiancé got some of this as a sample after one of his haircuts at Ulta (one of two D&G fragrances). He felt like it was far too feminine for him to wear - he said it was "too fruity" for him and wished it had a heavier note of tobacco. If that means the gourmand note was too strong for him or if he was picturing slim Europeans drenched in this stuff, I'm not entirely sure. He did say that he'd probably love it if he smelled it on someone who smoked cigars (which he does not) and I can't say I disagree. It's pretty sweet and linear as far as designer fragrance goes - and though it is nice, I cannot picture myself paying designer prices for it. Regardless, I've liked wearing the sample around, even if it is distinctly "masculine" in it's marketing and composition. Dry down is into a very pleasant incense woody note on my skin and the top note of fig reads both sweet and green but not overpoweringly so. I enjoyed layering this with Eau Parfumée au Thé Rouge from Bvlgari - as it added a level of complexity I prefer in my fragrance and mellowed it into something that felt more unisex tone for myself, highlighting some of my preferred fragrance notes. It's fairly strong in small amounts which would lend itself to it's price point for some, but unfortunately I don't feel like there's anything all that special here.

K Parfum by Dolce & Gabbana is a fruity, sweet, and woody fragrance. In the opening, the scent is of a very sugary, sweet fig. I didn't particularly like this phase, although it maintains the fig scent characteristic of the entire K line. After about 30 minutes, some woody accords begin to emerge, probably a touch of sandalwood, which improves and balances the initial sweetness. From then on, the aroma remains a combination of fig and wood until it fades away. This fragrance is best suited for autumn and winter wear due to its sweet and warm wood notes, making it ideal for nights out with friends, etc. On me, it lasted a little over 8 hours with moderate sillage. To date, no fragrance from the K line has truly captivated me. Some have seemed better, but never enough to make me want to buy one, and this one feels the same way. But that's just my personal opinion of this line, so try the fragrance for yourselves and form your own opinion.

I tested this fragrance at the mall. It strays the most from the K line DNA, yet it still retains a strong K essence, very similar to the Intense. Like the others in the line, it’s challenging to identify individual notes since it’s a blue fragrance designed to be well-blended. It feels a bit smoother compared to the others, but in terms of performance, longevity, and projection, it doesn’t surpass its predecessors. The opening isn’t as impressive as the other fragrances in the line, but it improves during the mid and drydown phases. However, it does become quite powdery and a bit sweeter after about 20 minutes. Personally, I prefer the EDP Intense, which I own. This scent feels somewhat redundant, lacking any enhancements in performance. It might appeal slightly more to those who aren’t fans of the K line, but that’s not saying much. Ultimately, it’s just another K fragrance.

Opens with a strong and dense blast, leaning sweet with a caramel-like vibe that grabs attention. The projection is moderate, with an arms length sillage that makes it noticeable without being overwhelming. After the initial sweetness settles, it moves into a more woody base. It’s pleasant and well rounded, though it does get a bit generic once the opening fades. Overall, it’s a relatively safe choice,- versatile, approachable, and very much a people-pleaser, Kinda lacks it's own signature. I feel like i've smelled this perfume before many times, that's why it's kinda generic to me.

Reminds me heavily of Radio Bombay by DS & Durga. It has that same extremely dry, woody base with hints of floral-y fruits. The caramel note is similar to Scandal EDT by JPG if you strip it down. The opening is almost offensively dry but the dry down is decently sweet. It's not very good, but it is much better than K EDP. If you're not a fan of the K line, you won't like this one either. Overall, nothing special.

Perfect by marc jacobs absolute for men. Note to self: you hate fig x caramel, it gives you a headache. I find this take on the two notes less offensive. There is a freshness in the drydown that keeps it from being too bad.

Deep and sweet. Reminds me a bit of Scandal and, maybe Santal? Not a fan of sweet and Sandalwood so pass

My Ulta had this in stock so I put some sprays on. Glorified first impressions: the opening is really nice. That caramel/fig bit that’s going in smells really good. REALLY good. So good, in fact, that I wound up spraying my arms and hands before leaving so I could get more of it. Theres a leathery note in there, but also something minty that was lightening it up. I didn’t really get K at all. I thought to myself, we may FINALLY have a winner (since the EDT. That stuff slaps). That was about 4 hours ago. Now, what came across as mint is now clearly licorice. That sweet, leathery opening is also gone. What I am left with is the brackish, pickle/pimento vibe I hated about the EDP/EDPI. What was so quickly enjoyed is just as quickly lost. Another pass for me.

Opens with a very nice sweet fig, becomes very generic blue-adjacent frag very soon after, and dries down to this soapy (?) accord or note I smell in many perfumes (mostly women's) and which I can't stand - I wish I knew what it was exactly. Perhaps it's some aromachemical?

Feels formal—like wearing a suit and tie at a party 🎩👔. It’s perfect for office environments, but not just any office... I’m talking about government offices 🏢📄—with stacks of papers and a hint of chaos everywhere 😅.

I had high hopes for K . the presentation is bold and regal, but the fragrance itself left me genuinely disappointed. From the first spray, it reminded me of a synthetic citrus cleaner, something you'd encounter in a grocery store restroom. Harsh, flat, and lacking any real elegance or charm. While the longevity is surprisingly decent and around 5 to 7 hours on my skin with the scent doesn’t evolve in a pleasant way. It stays linear, and unfortunately, that means the synthetic edge lingers far too long. I don’t enjoy being this critical, but this one just doesn’t work for me. I’d recommend try before you buy, and even then, there are far better options in this price range.

OMG this K-line is so so so bad. Harsh, sharp, disgusting smell. Gives you a headache, really bad smell from start to finish. How can anyone use such poor quality sharp chemical bombs? Don't use them so that others around you don't have to suffer. 🤢🤮

Denser and more compact than its predecessors, but this is to be expected. I do not get a lot of caramel or fruitiness from this. The fig is toned down by woodbines and what smells to me like patchouli. I wish I got the caramel, I wish the licorice note stood out more as well. This is a bit unique given the modern landscape of vanilla, fuzzy men’s fragrances. It is masculine, not loud, it does not project very well or very long. That said, I enjoy it a lot. I would never pay anywhere near full price for this, nor should you or anyone else for that matter. I have defended the K line in more than one review on here, and I will continue to do so. I have not smelt the parfum intense version yet, and may get my hands on it someday. I have a love for fig fragrances. Love what dolce and gabanna did for their love in capri release and ferragamos pour homme stand out as well as le beau garden paradise. If you enjoy the edp I think you would like this one as well. A much less fresh variant of the edp but a winner and for 70 bucks full presentation, 100 ml, I’ll take it. Try before you buy, I am sure an elixir is finding a way to peek its head from the shadows soon. Update: I put this on and the edp to compare. The caramel and licorice jumped out as I wore both side by side. Oddly though, those notes seem a lot more subdued when wearing the parfum on its own. I prefer this over the edp, just wish it pumped out more volume.

Just got my bottle today. I know all the hates because of “Jesus... another flanker?! Next spring 2026 we will have K elixir!” However, this one smells so so good, my favorite K among 4! The caramelized fig note is just heavenly, that notable extra dose of sweetness makes the K DNA more bodied :) I agree from EDT to EDP, then the EDP intense from EDP, the difference is somewhat nuance and caused those flankers appear redundant, but if you only compare this Parfum vs OG EDT, they are definitely different enough with alternative expressions! I love that fact that the K DNA has always been there, but now we have various expressions thanks to all these 3 flankers. If I have to keep only 2 bottles of K, they will definitely be this Parfum and the almighty OG EDT. We hate that it is another flanker again, but I can’t hate myself on loving them once again! K Parfum, money worthy to own if you’re a K fan.

Tested it today and ordered a full 100 ml bottle straight away. It was lovely, realistic caramel with fig and woods - just like the notes say. I also have OG Scandal and the Absolu. I can see some similarities with the Absolu and this but they are different. I couldn't find straight licorice from this but maybe that's just a good thing. In my opinion it's very different from the rest of the flankers and I don't like any of those. This was a instant hit for me.

Tried this on at the mall and wife instantly recognized something smelled good - it was this. According to her, it smelled better on skin then on paperA few other compliments day of wear as well. Didnt have high hopes for this since I wasnt a fan of the previous K line by D&G ... but this I tried on a whim because of the dark colored bottle. Im digging this. Will probably get a small bottle. It seems rich and fancy but not overly so - versatile.

i own the edt version of the k line, it smells good but lasts like shit. This one however, is really unique and diffirent than the overall vibe k line has. It's sweet with caramel and woody, that's what it is overall. But mainly, i get caramel. Which makes it a really great fragrance as a designer. I wish i'd bought this instead of edt. It also lasts really longer too

After maceration it smells very good. But my new bottle smells like Valentino coral fantasy. Lorice is so forward in it. Dry down is nutty. Not like creamy and woody like the older bottle I smelt. I hope it gets better. Based on that fresh bottle it's not a safe blind buy. I'll give it a 7/10.

This fragrance is a GIVER. It wants its presence to be known in the room. It's powerful, woody and sweet - all in a very sophisticated way. The down side is the almost medicinal over the top sweetness that it gives out. I think if this scent was less sweet I'd consider buying it.

Scent is good but am i the only one who can barely smell it. Could just be the batch i have but Its not that strong. Staying power is no more than like an hour maybe. Fades away very fast.

I really don't like this K line, way too generic, however I admit these notes sound interesting (no citruses?). Gonna test it when I can.

Why keep pumping out flankers of a massively unpopular line? Also, bring back By. It’s better than any of this K crap.

All I smell is JPG Le Beau and all the other newer fragrances that has this cheap coconut note.

What a horrible perfume - opaque, dusty. Edt is actually very nice
