Light Blue Capri In Love Pour Homme Eau de Parfum

Light Blue Capri in Love is a fragrance that I have loved from the first time I smelled it in an Ulta last fall. It is a light mix of a fig & pepper with a nice background note of patchouli. As it dries down these notes stay the same in both balance & strength as the opening. There is a tiny bit of sweetness in here but it feels more like it isn’t a note that was added but rather as part of the fig note. Interestingly I get tiny hints of citrus from Light Blue Capri in Love if I don’t spray it in my skin, on paper & my clothing the citrus is there but as soon as I spray it on my skin the citrus vanished entirely. On the perfomace side Light Blue Capri in Love is quite good. For longevity it lasts just under 8 hours on my skin & about the same amount of time on my clothing. A 7/10 for longevity. The projection is good but not nuclear, it rises strongly off my skin for the first 3 hours, staying just inside my arms length. After this is faded down to a fairly close skin scent that vanished entirely in the last 30 minutes of its lifespan. A 6/10 for projection. I really really enjoy Light Blue Capri in Love; it’s simple but in a very pleasant & unique way. The fruity fig note is definitely the highlight of this fragrance and I’m fairly confident it was meant to be this way. Overall it is a 9/10 for me; that said I wouldn’t wear it in the summer. It is definitely a fall & spring scent primarily that could work in the winter but most likely to heavy for those hot summer days.

One of the better designer summer frags out there, amazing quality and with a perfect balance of the three notes, that play so well without becoming competitive with each other. The earthy, peppery fig note on the dry down is devine. The pepper removes from the fig's sweetness a bit and the result is THE perfect balance. Such balance in designer fragrances, I have only came across with Gentleman Society Eau de Parfum Ambrée by Givenchy for instance. As it dries down further, while the peppery note becomes slightly quieter , the photorealistic fig becomes a bit more prominent and earthier thanks to the patchouli note, so you get that aromatic, earthy and a slightly lactonic undertone that a freshly cut fig has. In my opinion, this is more for a mature audience, it's for the 35-40 year old folk and older (The older you are, you'll be more appreciative towards a fragrance like this one). That said, if you are looking for a very loud summer party frag, this is not for you. Picture this: you are hanging out in Capri enjoying a limoncello with your partner during the evening, or during the day while enjoying a cold coffee and/or brunch in Mykonos. So, it's perfect for the day time, and great for evening, early night activities. This is my signature summer fragrance for 2026 without the slightest doubt.

I'm glad I didn't follow the herd and just assume this was a bad fragrance. This is good. Many have said it but I agree, what they did with Light Blue Forever and Italian Love is similar to what they did here....they made something with personality. Is it niche? Not exactly. But in a designer realm filled with basic shower gel scents release after release, year after year, this is a breath of fresh air. Reminds me of the days when the designers gave us something to look forward to. They tried, and more importantly they cared about the art. But obviously the problem is consumers. I'll save that dead horse beating for another time. Opens with some Citrus and pepper soon giving way to a sweet fig much like in Cedar Figalia or Philosykos etc..In the drydown there's a saltiness about it like Boss Bottled Pacific or Light Blue Intense. But the Fig stays along for the duration, albeit loosing some strength. Patchouli is somewhat of an earthy/green Patchouli but definitely not as present as the notes on here currently say. I get more ocean/salty(Light Blue DNA/fig than anything. A solid flanker done right.

Edit: forgot to add layering techniques - play off the spice and patchouli. A tobacco, honey and cardamom or clove and leather would play with the fig well, use more masculine musky dry to play with all notes. I'm finding folks that don't like this, aren't a fan of peppery herbal bases, and thats perfectly okay. While fruity is dominant - the fig being the only and imo most powerful note, it makes the base kind of stand out as a divisive dry, maybe leathery boozy fruit. While I love it, the fig open, and even fig middle, are soft and creamy, the pepper being a harsh and tantalizing middle note inviting you to cuddle with that soft patchouli base. If you hate patchouli, you're gonna hate this. While not obvious, those same medicinal, earthy and woody tones are still present, and to me, offer a luxurious hippie-esque quality. To the more complex nose, you may pick up these combos as being damn near mandarin orange pith, or Grapefruit-y in its tinge, but that's the creamy fig playing off that harsh pepper! Apparently a more complex fragrance than I was expecting for the masses..

Big fan of the traditional smell of Light Blue line, and I really like Capri In Love as well. However, it really is the outcast of the line, so don't go into it expecting it to smell like the rest. You get a really nice mix of fresh (I can smell the citrus even though its not listed), fruity, green, and a subtle fig note to my nose. Not a lot of the black pepper, but it does add a big to the zing. Performance is very good for this one, better than most Light Blues, but to be expected as it has a very different and heavier composition. If this was released by a difference house, with a different name (especially a niche house), it would be getting a lot more love than its getting now. That hate is driving the price down, so if you like it, you're benefiting as its dropping lower like past Light Blues in price. It will most likely be discontinued within a few years as D&C does so famously with Light Blues, so make sure you get backup bottles when they hit about 30 - 40 bucks on discounters.

Light Blue Capri in Love Pour Homme is a green, fruity, and woody fragrance. The opening scent of this fragrance is quite green, more like an unripe fig, and I personally liked that aroma. Over time, a woody patchouli base also appears, but the green fruity theme dominates the scent of this fragrance. Although it's not a fragrance that contains citrus, I find it ideal for daytime and summer wear due to the green accords. The woody base gives it the versatility to be worn during spring and fall as well. It can be worn in a wide variety of situations, from casual occasions to office work to some formal occasions. In terms of longevity, it lasted between 7 or 8 hours, with a fair to medium-low sillage. Its scent is very different from the summer versions released, which have always been based on marine and citrus aromas, although Italian Love and Light Blue Forever used a different approach to citrus, based more on grapefruit. For me, Capri in Love is a good fragrance.

The bottle immediately catches your eye, for sure. It looks stunning, reminds slavic-russian Khokhloma pattern. At first, I honestly thought: okay, another Light Blue flanker... they release so many every year. But after one spray — wow. This is deeper than expected. The base is where it gets interesting: woody patchouli and fig give it a rich, fresh-but-seductive character. It’s still in the Light Blue family, but it feels much more grounded and sensual. The opening has a sharp, slightly spicy pepper note that adds energy and brightness. It reminds me a bit of some Kenzo fragrances, especially the bamboo-bottle line — but this one feels deeper and more present, less airy and more structured. It’s fresh, but not lightweight. Clean, but with personality. A surprisingly serious take on the Light Blue DNA.

i really really like this stuff, black pepper and fig thats spicy and sweet; the patchouli blends/brings both together in a way that is smooth and harmonious. its got such a classic but also modern feel to it and has a really good muskiness that smells very male dominant without being overbearing. no it doesnt have the traditional D&G light blue/ light blue intense feel to it but it doesnt need to, i think D&G is on to something with Capri in Love. alot of people are underrating this frag currently and are missing out on a really good frag. hope D&G either expand on Capri in Love or make more similar to it. edit: ive max sprayed this stuff on super hot days and i just adore this frag, need more of it.

Blind buy, hoped that it'd smell fruity as the entry here implied... I sprayed on paper first and the first whiff smelled terrible to me, a very piercing peppery scent. I thought I'd actually try it on my skin before getting rid of it, and it turned out to be pretty good! The pepper goes away after a few minutes and reveals a fresh, unripe fig scent. Fantastic longevity - lasts eternally on clothes, and over 12 hours as a skin scent with a single spray. The smell is a bit divisive, maybe a bit too spicy/sour for most but I don't think it smells synthetic or offensive. Had to wear this a few times to really appreciate it! Definitely a daytime, summery scent as the name/marketing implies.

Some inspiration was drawn from Acqua di Parma Fico di Amalfi and perhaps Diptyque Philosykos. It opens with a surprisingly sharp spicy aromatic black pepper teasing over the future fig. The heart then emerges with that green lightly sweet Capri fig; it is excellent. Over time the base comes forward in the form of a clean patchouli. It's probably the furthest departure of the Light Blue line on the men's flankers, but it's the one I think I could wear deepest into the Winter as the pepper and fig should hold up and potentially sing in crisp air. They do such a good job of nailing Italian coastal vibes; I get more cooler Mediterranean river delta due to the fig. It's great.

Design and bottle: Beautiful bottle design, they could have done more with the cap. It smells like it looks in some ways. The atomizer is great aswell. Scent: I dont feel the notes capture it completely, from smelling it i seem to remember some pink pepper and citrusy notes to this aswell. Maybe even some marine or salty ones? It smells amazing, masculine and modern, it reminds me of the sea. Its also very uniqe. Overall: 9/10 To me this is an amazing summer-fragrance thats masculine but not harsh in any way. A crowdpleaser thats still complex and interesting. I will be buying a bottle at some point.

I’m shocked at how simple the notes on this fragrance are. I was shopping around for a summer cologne for my husband and Capri Di Amore is definitely an eye catcher. While I’m a sucker for ad campaigns and bottles I didn’t want to believe this would be that good. I’m even more shocked that I like the pour homme version MORE than the pour femme. Like by a lot. There’s a lot of depth in this one brought out by the peppercorn. I myself think it’s unisex enough for a woman to enjoy this a lot. But I also of course think it’s an incredibly sexy summer scent for men.

Underrated banger (and I lowkey hope it stays that way) could be my favourite summer fragrance of all time. The notes are simple but the smell isn’t simple in the sense of it not just being another summer citrus bomb. It smells really good, like a premium men’s sunscreen in the best way. It instantly reminds me of holidays in Greece. It’s got a 4 rating on here which isn’t bad but genuinely unsure if the people voting haven’t smelt it as this stuff is incredible. My fear is that D&G will one day just discontinue it, in which case I will stock up for life.

In terms of Light Blue, this isn't it, it's more K than Light Blue. Now I may be biased here seeing how I love K, but this one just hits the mark for me. So I picked this one up at Gatwick I believe, the guy at the counter recommended this to me after a couple of minutes. I honestly wasn't impressed, seeing it deviates so much from the Light Blue line. Yet, the more I wear it, the more it grows on me. Suffice to say it's a yes from me, though you might have to use it 2-3 times to let it grow on you.

Genuinely one of my favourite fragrances ever, it's one of the first ones I ever bought, and it smells so fun and really does give you a Mediterranean/Italian vibe. It definitely could be a harsh smell for some with the strong fig note and peppery opening, but it's a fun and unique summer scent imo and definitely worth trying out. I prefer this to the original light blue; it's like its fruitier, woody and intimate version.

Tested this in store. Extremely unexpected for a designer fragrance. It almost gives off entry level niche esque vibes Very impressive, and I never like designer fragrances (too many notes, and I can smell and taste the aromachemicals) This is similar in structure to a Jo Malone offering, Not many notes, everything has its space and nothing feels overly synthetic Would make a nice, simple, easy summer fragrance for a male

Love at first smell, sweet fig with a lot of woody notes, blended spectacularly and smoothly. Got it for my dad and he enjoyed this one a lot, being as picky as he is, merit is due. Although not a fraghead, after a few weeks my dad told me if something was off about it because it didn’t last shit on him, told him it’s normal, but what a shame on D&G. Recommended if you don’t like overpowering fruity manly summer scents.

Its really a Mediterranean vacation fragrance, one of the LEAST synthetic perfumes, it would have been even better if it had a lowkey mandarin orange note, but it's incredible as it is. For longevity; the scent was still noticeable on my skin for almost 4 hours, maybe it just didn't last on my skin. It smells like turquoise.And its so underrated.It has the potential to be a signature scent because its not well known.

I sprayed it on myself to see how it would feel for husband. it’s exactly the kind of scent I’d want on him but he wasn’t that impressed. It leans more daytime, very summer/spring. There’s this beautiful creamy vibe, like pool mist, mixed with a soft tea note. It actually reminded me of Parisian Musc a little bit. Turns out there’s a fig note listed, which explains everything.

I will never ever understand how this flanker doesn’t get the recognition I believe it deserves. It’s a masterpiece in my own mind. It literally just fits my personality perfectly. Also I think the performance is great, it’s fresh enough to wear when it’s hot out, yet enough strong enough to hold up to the colder weather as well. Just baffling to me.

I’ve been eyeing this one for a while now. If you’re looking for a summer scent that stands out from the traditional summer scents this would be my go to. Performance and longevity are pretty nice compared to other light blues, I get about 6-7 hrs. I would give this fragrance an 8.7/10, definitely gonna pick this up from a discounter.

It’s a great perfume, opening is fresh and fruity, litlle bit of citrus nuance but overall on the sweeter side, and dry down is simply lovely with patchouli notes. Longevity is arounf 6-8 hrs on clothes. Projection is good for around 1-2 hours of you spray enough. If you apply just 5 sprays, nobody’s gonna smell you.

An amazing peace of art, a love from the first sniff, it didn't take me more then 5 minutes to buy it, its the best start for summer 2025 by all means That's what I may call a fragrance with character, A fig bomb on the kick off, and it drys down to an amazing woody aromatic perfume Over all 9.5/10

In my opinion this is amazing, but this is not "blue". This is just like Acqua Di Parma's Blue Mediterraneo line. Like a dupe of Arancia Di Capri. But this might be better because the Aqua Di Parma's disappear within minutes. So, this is like that orange peel, fig, on the vine scent.

Wonderful fruity summer fragrance. Opens heavily with fig and dries down to the patchouli base. Very little black pepper can even be detected. Lasts around 7 hours on skin and I got medium projection. I really enjoy this fragrance but would suggest smelling this before buying. 8.5/10

Hot take but in my opinion the best summer designer oat. And I like ysl myself more but that is more of an everyday fragrance. Imo it smells like mix between paradise garden opening fico di Amalfi dry down and light blue intense.

Not the citrus event you may have come to expect. It takes some patience but the fig reveals itself and strengthen into the dry-down. As the woddy base picks up the fig matures but it sticks around for the long haul.

Unconventional fig note, Amazing scent.

While still a flanker, Capri in Love is a departure from the core DNA of the Light Blue line and offers something new. There's nothing too groundbreaking or complex here, but D&G executed this one very well. This is something I've been hoping to find for so long: a beautiful fig fragrance that doesn't lean feminine. Gris Charnel came close to that but just wasn't really my taste with how dry the sandalwood base is. Anyway, Capri in Love is true to the barebones notes list, as it's just a smooth, refreshing, slightly dark blend of fig, patchouli, and black pepper. The fig is creamy and rich, the pepper is more muted but placed perfectly, and the patchouli gives it this earthy and dark undertone that I absolutely adore in this context. While it may not be superb quality, this is really one of those scents that comes together nicely with no rough edges, and it's utterly addicting. Unfortunately, it's still a D&G non-private line fragrance (and a flanker of Light Blue, one of the weakest fragrances to ever exist), so performance isn't great. Even with a ton of sprays I'll get only a few hours of faint projection. That being said, it's honestly my favorite D&G fragrance so far and is 100% worth picking up. Perfect for summer nights. Also, I personally don't agree with the people saying this is more of a K flanker... K is an average men's everyday scent that focuses around spicy pimento and more aromatics, while Capri in Love is pure summer vibes just like the rest of the Light Blue line.

Different certainly... Opens with rindy-citrus, kinda like lemon zest/peel. It's a lil minty. More citrus, maybe grapefruit. A bit "piney," a bit powdery. Vetiver and spice, presumably pepper? Creamy vanilla and something coffee-esque, like cappuccino. Then earthy notes with some fruity wafts, (peach and apricot?) Some subtle floral notes, more vanilla, some musk. Lemon and soft woody notes, some strange spicy aromas, something akin to 5 Spice? (honestly that's what I smelt.) More coffee-vanilla aromas, it's little soapy, has something resembling face/body cream? Finally a smoky aroma with something almost mineral. Hard to pinpoint exactly who and when this is for. Feels unisex, modern, marketed for summer but might be better suited for spring? More of a day fragrance. Performance is solid, especially as the complex skin scent it becomes. More mature, ages 25+. Overall it's a very interesting fragrance and an unusual flanker, both original and quite a swerve from the rest of the line's DNA, but I like it.

I tested the new Capri in Love twice in the last few days on skin. I liked it even more the second time I tested it. The fig note is what is going to turn some people off, but you have to test it more than once to see if your nose gets used to the scent. This smells NOTHING like the previous Light Blue versions, but it does have some similarities to the D&G K-line, which doesn't get a lot of love. This one smells more refined and wearable than the K-line ones. Performance on my skin was really good. Above average. On clothes it will obviously last even longer. I kept sniffing my arm for several hours to smell that fig note. It was addicting and strong, and unlike any other cologne I have. The new atomizer is amazing! I'll definitely be picking up a bottle once it hits discounters and I think with the surprising fig note turning some people off this might hit discounters pretty soon.

I went into this expecting something very close to the original D&G Light Blue, just with a fruity fig in the opening, but this fragrance surprised me. It takes a different direction while still keeping a subtle connection to the DNA. Interestingly, I don’t get much citrus. Instead, there’s a soft marine freshness lingering in the background, layered with a gentle peppery touch and a smooth, slightly creamy fig note that feels natural and refined rather than overly sweet. The original Light Blue has always reminded me of sitting on a sandy beach, watching the sparkling sea under the blazing summer sun. Capri in Love, however, paints a calmer, more intimate picture of relaxing in the shade of a fig tree, with a warm breeze passing through the leaves. It feels softer and more laid-back while still capturing that Mediterranean holiday mood.

Woody fig, cirtus smoke and light spiced, this is a beautiful summer frgrance that matches its ornate bottle. The opening tingles with pepper and bergamot while a fruity fig makes up the bulk of this experience. There are afternotea of incense and what I feel is light cinnamon, that works so well as a signature summer scent. A wonderful and intelligent scent that feels like reading a good book by the side of a pool. A sophisticated refreshing wine at a surprise taverna. These are neat summer monents converted to perfume. Be ready to fall In Love with Capri.

creamy coconut / sunscreen / slight fruity vibes with a peppery note, overall very reminiscent of the Le Beau DNA to my nose. Just less sweet and cloying, but also less diffusive and strong. I actually prefer it over the Le Beau line especially because its less in your face. Wouldn't pay full retail for it though, because again, the performance seems quite mid! Also, no Patchouli to my nose, not even the cleaner fractions... also the description of "woody spicy" on the tester doesn't fit the Fragrance at all!

I find this more reminiscent of an acqua di Gio flanker (notably the EDP from 2022) than any of the Quentin Bisch fragrances of recent years ('new' Kenzo homme line etc) even though they all share a somewhat salty aroma. I just don't think this one smells as divisive as something like Kenzo Homme EDT Intense for example, this is quite smooth and in a way, slightly creamy. Long lasting for me. (*this was a test, I don't own the fragrance).

It's very simplistic, but I really liked it. Very well balanced - very bright and airy and pleasant. Feels a bit like floating on a cloud - in terms of the sensation. the fig is leading, the rest just supports it and doesn't stand out: i didn't the patchouli as a distinct scent - and i don't think i noticed pepper at all. Perfect for summer. I'll need to examine it a few more times before I decide to buy.

Honestly the opening of this fragrance for some reason reminds me of lataffa habik but after 10/15 minutes that strong pepper turns into well blended creamy fig with fresh patchouli. The only problem this fragrance has is parameter's and the price for geniualy simple scent. Also it's too sweet for all-day wear in the summer yet works great in the spring/summer evenings Overall 7/10
