Light Blue Pour Homme Summer Vibes

Summer Vibes brings the Light Blue line back to its roots. I am a big fan of Light Blue Eau Intense so I was excited for this release. The opening is unmistakably similar to Light Blue Eau Intense, rather than Light Blue Forever or Italian Love. Gone is the grapefruit note, which has been replaced by a pleasant green note. The green note reminds me of Acqua Di Gio EDP although not quite as sharp. As it dries down, the Cypress becomes more pronounced. Summer Vibes has toned down the sea notes but hasn't completely removed what made Eau Intense great. The added green notes make it smoother, less sharp, less salty, but no less fresh. The smell reminds me of being in Italy, walking through a lemon grove perched up on the cliffs above the sea. Performance seems to be good but it is not as long lasting as its predecessors. That said, more people seem to notice this one on me compared to Eau Intense. Some may find it too similar to Eau Intense to warrant a purchase. Nevertheless I would say that the added green note makes Summer Vibes more versatile and balanced. The bottle is beautiful and deserves mentioning. Overall, an excellent addition to the line which will be great in the high heat of the coming summer.

This is Light Blue reinterpreted in a blue genre instead of an aquatic. Gone are the ocean accords and replaced with a lot more ambroxan, ISO E Super and patchouli in the base. The opening smells very close to Versace Dylan Blue and then bit and pieces of the Light Blue DNA starts coming through in the mid. The dry-down is very ambroxan heavy. It's really a big departure from the typical citrus heavy opening that has made Light Blue so iconic. This smells like it is more related to ADG Profumo and Dylan Blue than a Light Blue flanker (Alberto Morillas did made those two after all), where the citrus plays a supporting role. Projection and sillage are mild-moderate and longevity is above average. I can see Dolce and Gabbana trying to cash in the successes of the blue genre where K failed. IMO Light blue Eau Intense is still king.

In my opinion, Summer Vibes is the kind of fragrance you wear for yourself just to enjoy or to smell clean if someone happens to get close enough. It has a very intimate sillage with low projection, so it’s not a loud scent. But honestly, it smells incredible to me. It feels classy, elegant, and masculine, with just a touch of playfulness. The opening hits with a sweet lemon that blends perfectly with the cypress. For me, the mid and dry down stay pretty consistent. Slightly soapy, with a vibe that reminds me of the tea note from Imagination, and faint whispers of that sweet lemon from the start. To put it simply: Summer Vibes is a classy/safe scent that will offend nobody.

A lot of the reviews are giving this an "ok" or "dislike" rating for the wrong reasons. It is true that it's very similar to eau Intense, and that it's very much a variation on the original Light Blue. However, when reviewing a fragrance I think it's important to consider it on it's own. While I have used many Light Blue variants in the past this is the only one that I own, and I give it an 8/10 assuming that you don't already have Light Blue. I think it would not be worth buying if you already have LB, but its 100% worth it as your only one. It's very woody and casual, but it doesn't smell cheap or generic. A great fragrance for the beach, or a day out with friends.

It’s very light, very intimate, I couldn’t smell anything at all to begin but once I allowed it to oxidise on my skin it was unmistakably very pleasant. If you feel nauseated by very fresh or overly sweet smells then this is perfect for you. I have the pour homme intense which has that additional pop and peppery bitterness to it but the silage on that is massive compared to this. The bottle and box are artistic pieces in themselves, ill be using this as aftershave for my neck after a trim as the aroma of this is genuinely lovely and my usual is a sprits of Bleu de Chanel EdP but this I really like to cleanse the pallet. I’d even like to see an eau de parfum of this.

I am surprised by this one. I always loved the LB flankers and everyone hated on this one - especially for the performance. I actually found it to perform better than the OG LB and not that far off from the Intense. I only ended up buying it for the bottle - and it is lovely. It kind of reminds me of the new Light Blue EDP. Summer Vibes is pretty citrus heavy. Smells more orange to me than lemon. These are down to $35 shipped on ebay if you know where to look. At that price, it is a must have for a collector just for the bottle alone. Solid pickup. Will be used in place of my OG LB bottles. Gotta savior the good ones!

A masterpiece in mass appeal. It has a beautiful lemon note that leans a little dry, rather than sweet and juicy. It has a surprisingly realistic Cypress note which I really really enjoy. (Those are two of my favorite notes) In general this is a good performing, mass appealing, and ultra versatile scent. It can be worn anytime of the day, at any occasion, in any season. I get so many compliments on it (age range for compliments mostly around my age 17-20 so definitely youthful). I actually stopped wearing it for some time because it was my signature for so long and I think I'll go back to it soon.

If you want to smell nice in the summer heat and don't want to worry about a fragrance that is too distracting or powerful at work or traveling in an enclosed space with others, then Summer Vibes is a good option. It has the Light Blue DNA but with a more simplistic approach. If Light Blue Pour Homme was the Goldilocks and the 3 Bears story: Summer Vibes would play Baby Bear, the Original Light Blue would be Momma Bear, and Light Blue Intense would be Poppa Bear. Who would be Goldilocks? Light Blue Sun would be her. Longevity is about 4-6 hours for me with 8 sprays before it becomes a skin scent.

So good. Opens with a lemon that is clean and airy, rather than sugary sweet, but it does take on a salty mineralic Eau Intense nature with a hint of sweetness late open from what I believe is juniper berry. The sensation is one of a forest by the sea and even though it's not listed I swear I am even smelling a fig tree. It finally transitions to a prominent, slightly earthy green and woody cypress, drying down to a warm musky amberwood base. I have heard that the Italian Love men's flanker is like this with a little extra twist, so I'll need to get that as well because this is a love.

Picked up a bottle today at Macys. Summer Vibes smells similar to Gucci Guilty - Love Edition and Light Blue OG. The funny thing is that Summer Vibes smells like how bottle looks! 🤣 I get a nice aromatic cocktail of lemon, earthy/green notes and musk. Thus far performance seems to be solid yielding 6+ hours. The last two Light Blue releases are a lot more daring and unique IMO. Nonetheless, Summer Vibes is a solid release and will be an excellent addition to a guys summer rotation. As most people have said the bottle design pattern is 🔥🔥 Overall: 8.5/10

Tested it today. Nothing new in the market really, but it is the first D&G that I like. Does not have this kind of heavy aroma all the male D&G have. Citrusy, green (pine vibe, never smelled a cypress tbh) and when it dries down, a soft wood comes out, similar to the wood in Dior Homme EdT, giving it a more masculine vibe. I'd say it was made to attract the masses. Beautiful bottle, mass appealing aroma, fresh and easy to wear. D&G just trying to make money for the summer. Its nice, would buy if I had no other fresh or summer scents.

Probably the best light blue I’ve smelled yet between Pour Homme, Intense, and this one. I get compliments on the pour Homme and this one a lot. I remember wearing the pour homme back then when it came out and it was instant compliments. Same as this one. This smells different but with the same dna in the background. It does not give you no damn headache idk what that guy below is talking about. EDIT: You can still smell this on your clothes the next day. Been wearing this almost everyday and women love it.

Has the atmosphere of having pasta in a small town in Italy in the midst of summer, while wearing a white linen shirt, shades, and sipping on a glass of wine. I don't usually like Cypress too much, but this one is crisp and aromatic. The whole fragrance is an ongoing, entertaining interplay between the elements that make it up. It has "motion". Also, I'm getting some great performance out of it. One of the fragrances that others around me actually detect and compliment.

This is a decent fragrance to have in rotation for the warmer months of summer 🏝️ and spring 🌱. I get all the notes that are listed and I like the opening quite a bit 👍🏾 and this fragrance will not offend anyone in any way so if you want to over spray this like I do then it's totally ok with summer vibes. Great price on discount websites but please avoid paying retail for this fragrance. Projection and sillage is moderate and I get 6 to 8 hours of longevity

I'm so happy I found this!! It's a terrific dupe for my dream perfume of all time, Ode on Melancholy by Gucci!!! Its sunny and happy but also deep and mysterious, spicy and woody, yet bright and not to heavy. It also does not have that generic mens perfume smell at all, its original and personal. If you want grown up but fun, deep but light, expensive but down to earth, you might like this! I really hop you do because I want them to sell this forever!!

I bought it because I love the bottle. I had zero expectations, and I find it quite nice - very close to Costa Azzura and Eau Intense. I definetely smell lemon and cypress, making it more suitable for men. On my skin longevity is good, but sillage pretty low. I will see the performance when the heat will go up: I think it will do very well on hot Italian summers, when you only want to smell fresh (and everything smells heavy and cloying).

Very good clean summer scent. I usually dont purchase summer fragrances as much since the citruses used give me headaches, but i smelled this one and for the first time in a while felt like it wasnt too overpowering and knew i had to buy it. I love the drydown, its quite sophisticated and the cypress blends in very well. Longevity is good about 6 hours on my skin and moderate projection of about an arms lenght with 4 sprays. Overall 8/10

Fffffffffk, now people is talking about Costa azzurra, I bought this bottle when it was released here in Mexico and I instantly realized that this is similar to Costa Azzurra parfum but this one is more sweet and Costa azzurra is more luxurious and better quality. I mentioned this before but none said a word about it

This is going to be my go to summer scent, a strong lemon open that isn’t synthetic or smelling like any sort of cleaner. Not big on projection or super long lasting. While having a simple scent profile I think that’s what makes it an even more appealing summer daily driver and mass appealing. I really do enjoy it!

Maybe I’m lucky but my bottle arrived in the post at 1500 yesterday. I tried by spraying on wrist. Enjoyed the smell and was noticing it well into the evening. Even though I’ve showered, I’ve just noticed I had a whiff of it now and can still smell it 17 hours later... longevity for me is very good!

It is a nice freshie which reminds people of the beach and reminds people of the summer time or spring in general. I think it is best for daytime and spring/summer as it gives off a summer fragrance. It doesn't fill a room when you spray it and it lasts a good 4-6 hours on my skin.

Summer Vibes is allround freshie. It's also good for casual night out. Nothing spectacular, but it's reliable. The bottle alone is really gorgeous and worth collecting. Blind buy approved if you like this line.

Not exactly unique summer scent profile. A solid satisfactory 6/10 (For best summer vibe frag'c I recommend AdG Profondo). Bottle Artwork & cheaper price are what drew into cashier counter with this

It’s a very good daily summer scent. I wouldn’t hesitate to wear it to the gym with how light it is. It is also easy to find at a pretty good price point.

Tried it and I really like it! I have D&G light blue intense and i think this is better. Best flanker imo. Definately give it a try.

Freshness and class in a bottle: Whenever I put it on, I want to grab my nonexistent yacht and go for a little ride near the beach.

Light blue summer vibes is an amazing pick when it comes to summer, hence it's name, but you should know that this perfume actually is a criminally good pick for summer. It's extremely fresh, and the opening is perfect, it is perfectly moderate. This perfume has the perfect middle ground when it comes to sillage, it isn't overwhelming at all, neither is it unnoticable. You don't need to be intimate to get a hint of it's fresh citrus, you'll smell it just from a meter or two away. It's just about enough to notice the freshness of it while not getting too much of it all in at once. I honestly can't smell the amberwood that much, the citrus smell mostly dominates. Think of this as davidoff cool water, coral reef edition minus the mint and with amberwood. (Also a whole lot better because it's sillage is perfect) If you are in the middle east, I strongly recommend this perfume. The humid 50 degrees Qatar weather is no match for this beautifully composed fragrance. It's essentially perfect for hot weather. It's longetivity is average, there is nothing special to it in my opinion, however I would really argue that this perfume is unisex. A lot of voters lean towards the masculine side, but I can definetly see this being worn by a woman if applied at an addequate quantity. Pricewise, it's maybe a tad bit too expensive but it's something I can live with. This is my signature summer fragrance, and I strongly recommend it to anyone living in the middle east.

Light Blue Pour Homme Summer Vibes is a citrus, green, marine and woody fragrance. This fragrance has a citrus and green opening, pleasant but less sparkling than its predecessors Forever and Italian Love, in which grapefruit was the main protagonist. Summer Vibes has more of a citrusy bergamot and lemon style, but there are also some green notes and the classic salty-marine DNA of the original Light Blue and the Intense version, but in this version the marine accord is less prominent, because the more outstanding is the citrus-herbal accord. After a couple of hours there is a slightly sweet woody base and also more common, because it reminds me of other fragrances I have smelled. As its name says, this is an ideal fragrance to use in summer and spring, for casual use, for daily activities, school, outings with friends, etc., since its aroma is pleasant and harmless. I tested this fragrance by a tester in a perfumery and it lasted for more than 9 hours, the first two hours leaving a noticeable sillage and at the end staying close to the skin. The aroma is pleasant, easy to like, but that does not mean that everyone will like it, that is why I do not recommend buying it blindly. I like the bottle, and it deserves a separate mention, since it has beautiful details, as if it were made of pieces of Mexican Talavera pottery.

This is becoming one of my favorite dumb reach/casual fragrances ! Summer vibes starts out with a crisp but also smooth lemon note that is very refreshing but also kind of relaxing and easy going at the same time. As it dries down you get that cypress mixing with the lemon causing this to be less bright and more mellow and green. I really love what the cypress does in this fragrance!! The drydown is pretty much the same but it does get more woody,smooth and even slightly creamy/soapy. Summer vibes in a nutshell is a soapy,clean,refreshing smell that isn't complex but just simply a very pleasant/inoffensive scent that's perfect for occasions you want to smell nice but not overbearing !! I wasn't expecting much from this but it has really surprised me with how many people love this on me and has gotten more attention than a lot of my heavy hitters in my collection!! Admittedly that makes me like this more !! Performance on this is great for a freshie !! It doesn't project a lot but it does leave a very nice scent bubble and sillage for 6-8 hours on my skin. Overall rating -8.5 out of 10 ! Not the most original or complex scent but damn is it pleasant and easy to wear

This release was a bit of a let down. The citrus is significantly toned down versus the past flankers. Overall first impressions when I smelled this: Its VERY "pillowy white musky", soft textured. The lemon gives this frag some brightness at first blast, but isn't strong enough to come across as a identifiable strong lemon note. I also don't get much of a coniferous cypress from this. Yes there is something green floating in the background, but I don't identify it as cypress twigs/leaves/wood. The amberwood however does show its face later in the drydown....kinda subtle dry woody. I dunno, overall it just smells like to me a massive dose of Galaxolide/Habanolide (clean-soft white musk), with some transparent watery notes, and a hint of brightness in the opening...and a touch of dry woods in the very dry down. Its not a bad fragrance, but this is the most boring and characterless of the Dolce Light Blues varieties I own.

It's a much better scent than they say, so let's see who created it. It's about 45-50 euros in Hungary now, a gift for that much money. I wouldn't write about the scent, many people have done it before me. I see a parallel with the Prada L'Homme L'Eau Prada I bought 2 weeks ago, a great scent with a duration of about 4-6 hours in the summer. This scent needs a warmed skin that can evaporate from it.. if you can't forgive it for its restrained projection, then don't buy it. I think they'll bring out this scent. 10/7 for me with everything. (Google translate is my good friend) Greetings to everyone.

Love the smell, but performance is deceiving. Smells like the original light blue with some creamy woods and green touches replacing some of the aquatics. It’s still a very fresh and citrusy aquatic at at its core and kinda gives a nod to papaw aqua di gio. So as I said the performance is deceiving. Wearing it myself it seems to disappear but I gifted a bottle of this to my best friend and I’m always catching wafts of it when he’s around, and it smells very fresh and masculine. I’m pretty sure it’s nose fatigue that makes this seem weaker than it is.

Simple and clean. This is a refreshing casual fresh fragrance that has marine vibes yet leans more green in the dry down. Someone earlier explained it perfectly, this is the original D&G light blue intense pour homme, but without the weird eggshell note. Although like the other fresh frags I’ve tried that lack aldehydes, this one only lasts 4hrs in the dry down on my skin tops. Maybe it’s a 'me' problem with my skin chemistry. I blind bought a bottle of this, and regardless of performance I’ll be using it frequently this summer.

I tried it in a perfumery, the scent is very pleasant, summery, I can't see how anyone could dislike it, however it disappears quickly. I actually tried the new Acqua Di Gio Parfum and I can assure you that the vibe and scent are very similar, only the D&G lasts only a breath. So my recommendation would be if you like that scent, go for the ADG Parfum, don't waste your money on this one, unless you really like the bottle. Slds

Fantastic fresh fragrance from the light blue line, reminds me of a day at the beach in Santorini. Performance is what you’d expect from a fresh beachy fragrance, 2-3 hours projection and another 3 hours dried down as a more intimate skin scent. I picked up a bottle from a discounter for $40 USD and although I do enjoy this one I wouldn’t recommend paying full price. It’s similar to Italian Love By Dolce & Gabbana

surprisingly good, fresh lemon, that disappears pretty quickly as do most citruses. You're left with a nice almost herb like cypress to sustain the lemon's bitterness. I don't see this lasting all day unless you spray it on your clothes but then im sure it'll be more lemon forward, Honestly nothing bad to say about how its put together , well done D&G simple and casual summer time in a bottle.

Piece of art bottle . To be honest , the bottle is the reason why I bought it . Yes , it's a good summer scent , but I have many others gives the same vibes . Simply , It is cypress with citrus . But in somehow, it reminds me of Acqua Di Gio PROFUMO , it gives the same vibes . If you know the mini shrub Cupressus Macrocarpa , try to rub its leafs , you will get 90% of the scent .

The men’s version smells identical to a resort in Mexico. I smelled it in Ulta and it was very nostalgic bringing back so many memories it felt like I was there again. Recently I was in a plane and the scent was there again and I was immediately reminded of the resorts. Pretty sure someone was wearing this fragrance.

Warm weather to cool weather, this is a great easy reach smells like a nice day that’s how I can best explain it easy reach. I grab this thing without thinking and have never heard anything other then you smell good it’s not a head turner but it’s a good hang around the pool or head out to run around fragrance.

I came here to say this about the longevity: It might not have a strong sillage, but I put it on two hours before swimming and when I came out of the pool after an hour I could still smell the cologne, particularly the Sicilian lemon. The bottle is my favorite part about this version.

Coming up on two months with this thing, I really love it. The fresh herbs and lemon are done perfectly and this just sticks to your clothes all day. When you take your shirt off in the afternoon it hits your nose again warranting a sigh of relief. It's just what I need for summer.

Blinded this and heard it's pretty good but to me this smells like a fresher lighter version of Megamare. Basically the same territory if u want a weak version of Megamare. Still sitting on the fence as I'm Abit too used to the older classics dna of light blue.

the hype is real but as my 12yo son said when we got to the douglas perfume store today - it's good and i'm diggin the bottle, but dad, you already got like 8-10 colognes smelling the same (hugo reversed is the closest one.). skip it. and so did i. 7/10
