The One Collector For Women

After my fail with Rose The One (The content in my bottle was very weak and no longevity what so ever) this is a pleasant surprise! And the bottle is so gorgeous and very luxurious. It is quite a while since I owned the original The One, so I don't really remember what the difference between these two is, but I do like this one a bit more. This version is very potent, strong and creamy. Lovely peach, vanilla, lyche and some white florals. I find myself sniffing my wrist constantly...Yummy. I also find this is the kind of fragrance that can be used both day and night and all year round. The only time I would avoid it is on really hot summer days. The longevity on me is really good.Lasts a good 6-7h.

Absolutely gorgeous and definitely not the same as the original . I own both ! This is stronger , sweeter, basically a white peach plus lychee plus vanilla combo . Some blossoms thrown in there giving a sweet floral aroma and keeping this from becoming a gourmand . The bottle is stunning. It is more expensive than the original but in my opinion higher quality too. I love it ! Very beautiful and classy ! If you enjoy those three notes you cannot go wrong with this, it always gets someone saying ... who smells soooo good in here? Ahhh, it's you ! What are you wearing ?

Very sweet and feminine scent with a gorgeous peach note in the opening, with facets of mandarin, bergamot and litchi. The lily-vanilla combination is its signature. It has plush background. And gorgeous bottle. One of my favourites. Despite the fruity top it likes cold weather. It can be too much when it's warm. It is fresher than the classic The One, more universal. Very similar to The One Essence. And the bottle is gorgeous. The One classic can tire me, The One Collector is safe to wear.

Beautiful, fruity-sweet-vanilla scent for the winter and fall. Smoother, fruitier, and the perfect amount of sweetness. unlike the others, it is more milder and non-offensive. Vanilla and amber combine to create a mellow flavour. Quite fascinating! On me, this lasts a very long time. Beautiful, stronger, sweeter—basically a blend of white peach, lychee, and vanilla. I adore it. Beautiful and elegant! Totally attractive and a male magnet!

Gorgeous packaging and lovely, sweet-fruity-vanilla scent for winter and fall. I agree that it's an updated The One, smoother, more fruity and the sweetness is not as nauseating. I can't wear the original because I find it tiring though nice, but this one has every ingredient in good proportions. I bought it for the packaging mainly, and for the occasional sugar fix, but I'm enjoying it more than I've thought.

I feel like I'm in the lap of luxury. This frag is opulence in a bottle. I'm packing it away til fall as I go light and citrusy/flowery for the summer but I might take it out for special evenings. I'm loving the way it's notes are magnificently blended. & now I'm a die hard litchi fan! Many friends adore this frag. Now I understand. I had to wear it on ME to fully appreciate it. Lovely.

Beautiful fragrance! Sweet but not heavy. Very good combination of ingredients. To begin with I mainly smelled citrus and vanilla but then after a short while the notes blended more harmoniously. Very pleased to have found this version of the fragrance and what a delicious, red color the bottle has!

Drop dead gorgeous..Perfect for a evening out or lounging at home in your favourite cuddly sweater. Received many compliments and questions leading me to think people should know thisalready! Apparently not... Sillage-moderate Longevity-.Very long lasting A man-magnet,sexy!

Smells exactly like original "The one" but I bought cause it was red. Own both & I guess I wasted money to have a red perfume. But I don't regret it!

It's an evening winter-autumn sweet fruity scent. It's like a deliciously aromatic bubble gum. Peach and litchi are the most prominent notes heated up by amber and vanilla. Bold and heavy lilly adds a sweet aromatic bubblegummy powdery trail in middle tones. I think that there should be somewhere pink pepper in the composition even if it is not mentioned. Amber and vanilla on their own do not give such a creamy and sweet base usually. I disagree with the category this perfume was put in: "oriental floral". It's not oriental at all but quite fruity floral. Not a girly scent but more grown up woman one. Only two little sprays are enough for the full day. Stunning perfume with a beautiful bottle. Very strong fragrance more concentrated then the original D&G the one. I bought it just to change my usual the one. But definitely the scent has lot in common with it's sister the one. The same mentioned notes are in the one but with a different composition. But these two fragrancies are slightly different. I know what I'm speaking about because I weared the one during the years. I'm sure I will keep my actual bottle for ages as just tiny amount is enough.

The peach and lychee in the opening feel more prominent than in the original version. Together, they create a bright, juicy sweetness with a watery fruit impression. Compared to the original The One, the fruity aspect here is much more noticeable. In the heart, lily introduces a more mature floral character. This is not a sharply green lily. It leans toward the soft floral style commonly found in commercial feminine fragrances, with a powdery floral texture and a smooth creamy quality. It quickly blends into the vanilla, forming a warm sweet accord of white florals, vanilla, and lingering fruit. The drydown returns to the familiar vanilla, amber, and musk structure associated with the The One line. Many people consider it more suitable for autumn and winter, probably because cold air softens the amber structure and makes it feel smoother. Personally, I also find it very fitting for summer, since heat amplifies both the sweetness and powdery texture, giving it surprisingly strong projection.

I reviewed desire a few months back expressing my displeasure at the whole 'the one' range. However on a whim I tried this today, due to my being a visual person and red being my favourite colour. I must say, I am pleasantly surprised. I sprayed this 10 hours ago and can still smell it, this is very long lasting on me, unlike the others. I detect prominent, dominant vanilla which I happen to love along with litchi which is a favourite note of mine on a bed of sweetened fruity amber. This is vanilla sweet and slightly powdery with fruity undertones. It is ultimately feminine and rather comforting, creamy at times, even though long lasting it is in fact a skin scent though. It doesn't radiate outwards much. This is my favourite out of 'the one' range. Still nothing spectacular or truly unique, none of this line was for me. But I enjoy this one and might consider buying, as it is actually long lasting and for that reason worth the money.

For reviewers insisting they are all the exact same scents. Yes they are all similar, very similar- scarily similar- but they do have distinct differences, even upon checking the notes it is evident that one or two notes are changed whenever a new one comes out. The same with Marc Jacobs daisies- there are a nation of these fragrances and they are all the same- yet distinctively but subtly different, i.e. some of the daisies are more aquatic than the others some slightly fresher others more fruitier- the same is true with the one range- the difference with this one compared to the other 'the one's' is that this has long lasting time unlike the others and is more predominantly creamy vanilla. Some people evidently do not have that acquired sensitive ability to identify the individual distinct yet subtle differences between the similar concoctions of notes in these fragrances.

Hmm, this is not bad at all. I must say I'm not a big fan of the original the one and l'eau the one, but this is quite acceptable. This beautiful eye-catching bottle made me try it, and I think it really is worth a try. Much softer and non-offensive than the others The one's. Amber and vanilla make a soft composition. Very interesting!

This is not a review. I just came to say how beautiful the bottle is! It Feels very chic & rich when you hold it, & it would make an elegant lovely decoration on any dresser! However the perfume inside is nice but not impressive.

Gooey rose with a lipstick accord. Warm, cozy and oh so yummy!

The opening reminds me of Cartier Delices..

This is not the same as the one in new packaging. It has a hint of different inside. 90% smell like original the one, and 10% is more different. Both are composed with similar main notes, peach, vanilla, Litchi, and citrus. But for the new collector's edition, it has a bit more green and fresh fruity than original. As I said before, almost 90% is old the one and 10% is new things I can feel. Top Notes is so strong. It's heavy but a hint of light. Oriental - Fruity tones are coming by litchi and peach. Filling fresh feeling by Mandarin Orange and bergamot but not too sharp because of Oriental tone are the base of this time. Ofcourse, this one is more fruity than original the one. It has more fresh too. Middle Notes is the times for Lily which give feminine feeling. The Floral tone are covered by Oriental - Fruity. It's smell like original the one but more sour in my opinion. Base Notes I can't feel the different point from original. Just oriental from vanilla and amber. So if you have original one, you don't need this limited edition unless you only want to collect the red bottle version. Nice for the Winter times. This is the scent for women in new era. Rich and fabulous. Sexy and perfect too.

I bought this some months ago. I remember spraying it on my hand, and then wandering off to shop around, and I kept sniffing at my wrist all the way until I turned back and decided to buy it. I can remember it smelling like a peach-fruity scent. After buying it I ended up forgetting about it for a while, until a couple of weeks I decided to open it and use it. For some reason now, all I can smell is bug spray! I don't know what happened! No peach, no fruits, just some strong bug spray. I cannot fathom what fascinated me so much back then that I turned around and bought it. So frustrating!

Not sure why another reviewer seems to believe that this is a new addition to The One family. This is simply a repackaged luxurious edition of the original The One. It's hard to find, but I found it at the duty free store in an airport (YUL). This is one of my favorite perfumes! It's sensual yet sophisticated. The warmth of the vanilla is the most distinctive in this fragrance. It is not too sweet or gourmand thanks to the beautiful opening notes of mandarin and bergamot. The longevity is great! Long lasting.

The bottle is purely gorgeous. It feels and looks luxurious and I would be extremely proud to display on my dresser. However, the scent wasn't for me. I lived for the initial burst but on settling, I would get a whiff of my wrists and it would smell like Mortein. Not kidding! The very first time I noticed, I thought someone had actually sprayed fly spray in the house until I realised it was me. Guess it could've worked as insect repellant for me. I was devastated and ended up giving it away.

Yeah, I feel very "meh" on this scent. I'd call it pretty but generic and forgettable. Fruity, vanilla, amber - lasts 4-5 hours and doesn't project much after the first 30 mins or so. This red bottle is the version I have and it is really heavy and luxe - if you happen to know someone who loves this perfume then this version (in this special bottle) would be a great gift.

I had to buy this because of the beautiful bottle with the Goddess head on it!!!! I know this it should not be a reason to purchase a perfume but the perfume itself smells nice! Beloved Dolce & Gabbana followed the hype of their last years clothing and make-up collections and put ornaments of the Gods in their new perfumes as well.

This seems the right fragrance for this beautiful red themed autumn! I am loving all these red perfume bottles and this is one that needs to be dusted and spritzed.. right now I look around and I see my Virginia creeper plant turning a vibrant red... I love it! Smells great. Sweet and sexy.

Is this another version? I was also under the impression that this is the original The One in a different bottle, but here it lists different notes. Especially the plum is missing, so I can give it a try since I don't like the original.

Nice gourmand that isn’t cloying or overtly vanilla. Starts off with sweet lychee and settles down into vanilla & grounding amber. Even though the fruits are top notes, I’d still consider this an evening perfume.

This smells peachy and powdery. I like the original better but I will save this for the autumn and see how I feel about it then.

This is The One in a luxury bottle. Lucky to have it!
