The One Eau de Parfum Intense

I have it in exclusivity ; and it’s very different from both of other flankers of the one line (so glad it is because the edp was meh to me and i despised the gold one intense). This one before seing the notes, i was convinced there was a peach in it, but i guess it’s the mixture of blackcurrant+mandarine that may give up that effect. Then there definitely is still the rose inside! Pink pepper only is perceptible in the opening slightly. All of this dries down to what seem a beautifully made combo of rosy peach and jasmine trio, with a warm ambery undertone to it (as opposed to something that would be fruity fresh) If you like fragrances like good girl gone bad extreme by killian for instance, it’s very much similar, with a more proeminent « fruity » feel to it here rather than flowery. We could also compare it to Jimmy Choo want choo but less fruity in the one, and more floral with a rosy touch or with Michael Kors pour femme (but here more on the fruity side) I never wore the one edp for a whole day nor the gold one (i disliked them so i didn’t even bother so) thus i can’t compare performances. But this one has moderate projection and rather a good longevity : which is surprising for this brand known for releasing very weak & lacking of performance fragrances (very frustrating since they often do very well with the scent profile) I didn’t think i would’ve liked this fragrance because i didn’t expect much from the line. But I do very much actually (just like with good girl gone bad extreme). If you like peach-jasmine, i am sure you would like it too because rose isn’t as proeminent : it’s the best of the one line def. Also not surprised now that i noticed the nose behind was Quentin Bisch 😍

I am one of those lucky people who can wear most vanilla fragrances but lately all of the newer release vanillas are being formulated with notes that smell more juvenile like berries, coconut, marshmallow. Since I was looking for something more classy and chic smelling I stumbled upon this and I am so happy I did. Upon first spray you can smell sparkling notes of mandarin and the jasmine and then as it dries down the smooth vanilla, warm amber and pink pepper create a wonderful scent bubble that’s warm and soft and slightly spicy. I’ve been wearing this in 100 degree weather and it has nice projection and I lasts for about 6 hours on my skin and it hasn’t gotten cloying at all. Which is also impressive. I think this is certainly a beautiful warm and happy alluring scent that can be worn for all occasions. Sometimes it reminds me of a smoother version of JPG La Belle- but without the overly syrupy sweet finish that you get from that pear note. Which is funny because I believe Quentin Bisch created that fragrance too. I

I tried it yesterday and again today. I didn't have high expectations because I've never been a fan of the original because it was a bit artificial and too agressive for me, on top of which I used to smell it everywhere in my city for a long period of time. This new intense version is recognisable as a descendant of the original, the plum and peach combo is toned down, the clean, aldehydic/laundery part takes the central stage with pink pepper, and it doesn't evolve much. Overall it is spicy, ambery soapy concoction with moderate longevity on my skin. Not bad, but rather forgettable. I guess I somehow expected it to be more extravagant and unique with Madonna being the face of the fragrance.

This is an ambery floral gem with fruity touches. Very long lasting, but also, quite rich, so maybe not on a hot day. Better at night or in mid temperature to cold weather. I never tried the original, but this sample is lovely. Very feminine and also quite sweet. I am impressed. Initially, I was on the fence because I did not want a fruity floral, but the amber came in and made it soft and elegant. I describe this as a soft but attention grabbing fragrance. Added bonus......no musk, and I am glad as I am tired of musk fragrances.

This one reminds me of Ginza Intense (which I own) in some way. It doesn't scream, but it is not too subtle either. It's fruity enough to seem fun (black currant and pink pepper), but it has the sensuality of jasmine and amber, so there's balance and sophistication. To me, there are fragances that need to be used when you don't want to be the centre of attention, but still you want to leave a mark. It might be the perfume I buy once my Ginza Intense is gone <3

Despite being intense, it's not a heavy scent. My first impression is that I really liked it. I don't know yet how long-lasting it will be at the end of the day, but the scent is beautiful. It's fruity but soft. It's not a classic rose scent; this is much more feminine and refined. It's a perfect summer evening scent, but it can be used in other seasons too. Suitable for all seasons. It could be a signature scent.

Quentin Bisch has an amazing way of making a fruity note not fruity and a gourmand not sweet. This fragrance is sophisticated and rich, I just love it. I don’t know how two fruity top notes and a vanilla base make a fragrance that doesn’t smell like a cupcake, but it works.

Oh how I love this fragrance. It’s classy, strong but still work/office appropriate and just so beautiful. It’s got a slight edge to it, if you work in corporate it’s got a side to it that makes me feel confident and adds a don’t mess with me vibe.

the "diva" version of the original The One edp. It retains the fresh fruity character and is a deep, quality vanilla-floral scent. Perhaps it is no coincidence that Madonna is the face of the campaign - perfetto

I love this perfume! In fact, I'm a fan of all The One! Extremely gentle and beautiful scent! 🥰❤️

Smells good, but don't expect it to be the original perfume only stronger. The one smells like prada sugar pop candy only fuller and less watered down with that realistic peach. The intense one parfum also has a very realistic peach, which is very rare, but they don't smell similar at all. It's a safe blind buy if you're expecting a different smelling flanker. I got totally screwed buying the only intense one, but seriously, that black one was not a safe blind buy. I remember the days they sprayed you w perfume and threw samples at you, but they've gotten more and more stingy. You have to buy a fucking sample to make sure you like it bc God knows at the fragrance counter you can smell everything and nothing at all. They don't even have the coffee beans! Maybe bc coffee perfume is so en vogue rt now. Anyways, the intense one is drying down quickly to a more subtle one.

I'm wearing this intense one this morning after putting on my beloved dolce.blue Jasmine last night because i.conder them similar and therefore transition well. Ok after wearing dolce jasmine l could pick up the faintest scent of the one family. But then some random notes invade all full gas and that beautiful delicate blend of the one gets pushed into the background. We want higher concentrations! Not whatever someone decided should be called the 'intense version '. Boom. Sorry. I said it. This flanker isn't bad and l appreciate flankers! A better name for it would have been THE ONLY JUICE YOU COULD GET IN SCOTLAND, bc of the strong current smell.

I was really looking forward to this one, had quite big expectations, but...was quite dissapointed, it is a nice soft, nearly ethereal amber with a hint of citruses and that's about it. Nothing special, yes nice but rather soft and projection is nearly not there. I prefer the precedor, The one, it is more specific and unique, long lasting and projection is there, not everybody's cup of tea but special in some way and very recognizable. This flanker is not unique enough to make a purchase.

A really pretty and mature but generic ambery jasmine and vanilla fragrance with a spicy burst in the opening. Smells like a rich, classy woman in her late thirties or early forties. It's a pretty straightforward one, the notes tell you exactly what you're going to get. I honestly enjoyed it but there's nothing groundbreaking here.

I know this sounds crazy but when you first spray it it smells like swedish fish!!! The candy. I like it. It was my favorite candy as a kid and it makes me happy to have that memory. I'm sure that wasn't the intention but I'm happy it happened!

A little disappointed as the dominant blackcurrant overwhelms, it takes the fragrance in a Si Intense direction, a little too much for my liking, it's overly modern smelling and too sweetened with a sharp powder vanilla... It didn't say patchouli in the notes and I hate patchouli. It's a shame because it loses much of the balmy Italian Summer character I so love from the original, though somewhere in here the original feels present, it feels like I'm more drawn to the Essence version than this because that at least smells resinous and smooth where this feels harsh and candied. Feel like I'm wearing a fruitchouli, makes me recoil some. Disappointment, for me. (Anybody (UK) wanna swap for the 75ml regular version? 😌💖)

In theory, I should love this. I like every note listed. Before I sprayed, I smelled the nozzle & really liked it. But when I tested it on my skin it became too powdery for my liking. It’s not a bad scent. It just has this quality that reads too mature. Honestly I wouldn’t have guessed there was jasmine in this if I hadn’t looked up the notes. It’s a cozy & sophisticated scent & I can tolerate it once it’s sat on my skin for a couple hours but overall it’s not for me. It lasts FOREVER though & the sillage is crazy! So if you love this perfume then you’re in luck in that regard.

This version of The One doesn't stray to far off the original's path. The soft spicy notes reveal themselves upfront making one think ok this might be a sexier version but as it dries down it becomes "The One" again. An ordinary day fragrance. Another fruity floral that is more sweet, fruit and less floral. My personal favorite of this line was discontinued The One Rose. If you have the original this one isn't worth getting.

This smells very close to the original The One but has more fruity notes. Unfortunately it gives a pee-like smell on me (maybe it's the blackcurrant?). Doesn't worth it, especially that the original already has good performance. I would recommend the original, and if you want a stronger version, try The One Gold.

Definitely feminine. Very synthetic and sweet. Vanilla, pepper and resinous warmth with a hint of jasmine. The original The One for women is a million times better. This smelled very generic and something on the cheaper side like Ajmal brand. Not impressed.

Fruity bubblegum opening that has a grape-like jasmine and sweet ambery vanilla. It's a bit too sweet for me and generic smelling. On my skin I also get a weird plastic note. Reminds me of a Glade plug-in.

This one is so weird for me. A sales assistant handed me a tester paper of this as I was walking out of a store. I nonchalantly chucked it in my bag and forgot about it. Two days later I opened my bag to a lovely (and strong) smell of vanilla and clean jasmine. I was excited and intrigued! So I went back and another assistant sprayed it on a card for me again. Smelled good. Then I sprayed it on skin... And it smelled nothing like the tester card. It just smelled... wrong. In the opening it smelled like an old bottle of cheap shampoo. Then it somehow dried down to a putrid musky scent... almost animalic? It was absolutely bizarre. It actually reminded me of the base of cheap dupe scents. If I hadn't have sampled this at the store I would have thought it was a fake. A very interesting experience... I have never experienced a scent that was so completely different on paper to skin. And based on the reviews, I seem to be in the minority with my experience. I never liked the original, but now I think I need to try it again to compare. Overall, The One Intense is highly disappointing to me.

It takes a LOT for me to try a fragrance once, love it and buy it same day. Especially with a collection as large as mine. I wasn’t expecting big things from this fragrance and just so happened to pass by it. Sprayed it on paper, wow. Sprayed it on skin, even more impressed. Walked around with it all day and got beautiful whiffs of it throughout the day. On first spray it’s a little tart, creamy, slightly sweet but on dry down... MAGIC. Elegant, slightly powdery, soft amber, just so well blended. I went back and bought it immediately... I didn’t have the coin to spare but alas, here I am with the big bottle. Don’t be fooled by the “intense” label. It doesn’t mean beast mode. It just means it has massive lasting power! I sprayed it on today for a full wear at 6:30am. It’s now 5pm and still lingering beautifully on skin and clothing. It’s sexy, elegant, and airy. Not so light that you can’t smell it, but light in the sense that it’s that quiet beautiful girl that doesn’t say much but you NOTICE her.

I’m trying out 2 Quentin Bisch creations today on my skin. I could not have said it better than Mcjoan this is fruity but not sweet. His creations are for people than want a musky, perfume-y, grown woman scent but not in a straightforward way. It’s almost like QB does an abstract painting of fruits and florals the way Picasso painted women but they were figuratively drawn. They were mere shapes twisting into something vaguely resembling women. This is actually sweet for a creation from QB but that isn’t saying much. When I smell a black current fragrance I expect a bold tart fruit. If it wasn’t in the note line up I would not know this has fruit in it. As usual on my skin this is mainly musk. The during the dry down the vanilla came out quite a lot. But, again it didn’t give me true vanilla. It’s a vague sweet nondescript smell. Idk maybe I’m just slightly anosmic to QB creations which is very possible. They never seem to punch through to smelling like the notes portrayed to me.

Simply a lovely fragrance with both elegance and soft sensual allure that draws friends closer. I was pleasantly surprised at the beautifully blended notes in this new Intense version of The One. Was expecting deeper amber and overall bolder scent. For me, the soft sexy and really elegant blend of this gorgeous intense version is so refreshing after the past few years of heavy gourmands & overly sweet scents! Moderate silage but lingers on skin for hours. The One Intense will definitely stay in my collection. Just a truly beautiful sensuous scent that’s good for long sultry days, date nights & getting close with The One you Love. Softly sweet, gentle vanilla, warmth with brillance & silk in a bottle. Love it!

Here you will find harmony and gentleness. It is a creamy and delicately powdery floral fragrance, subtle and ethereal, yet warm and satiny. A hint of citrus zest, a drop of blackcurrant and then lots of flowers (subtly fruity), fresh as if covered in dew, with a slightly green background: giving off a truly fresh, velvety and seductive aroma, sweetly spicy, ambery and musky. It whispers of spring without hiding that it is a modern classic perfume, so yes, its intensity lies in its soft (but persistent!) drydown.

Had the chance to smell and test it on skin. Beautiful work! I love The One OG and I find back what I love (creamy floral fruity vanilla) but pushed further. Here there is even more depth, a touch of darkness and mystery like amber or some sensuality I don’t know. Smells rich, dark spicy vanilla, woodier, modern. Almost if The One had crossed the line towards niche. Longevity is amazing. Overall 10/10 good job D&G, your most interesting launch for a long time ❤️

I don’t know how i’m just discovering this! I absolutely adore it. It smells different than i expected and i totally agree with another reviewer that there is something tea like about this one. It’s a smooth, velvety, periwinkle scent with light floral nuances. The blend is really pretty and the notes all dance around each other beautifully. I think this is rather unique compared to what else is on the designer market!

I tried it the other day , if you are bored with the new recent designer releases being too gourmand too sweet then maybe you should give this one a try , it brings 2005-2010s chypre era back , spicy florals on ambery base (the pink pepper stays there for a while not just upon spray).. i didnt personally liked it but i know other girls who prefer more mature scents will

I tried on my hand the one for men EDP RESTAGE . The one parfum for men . And this one ... I was asking my self why this one is more powerful.. with a stronger siallage ... I cheked the perfumer behind those three. And he was there . Quentin bish! Quentin bish = nuclear performance .

A powdery tea-like version of the original. This version is quieter, with a floral pencil shaving esk nuance. Quite likeable, not sure id buy it now... it has more to do with The One Rose or rose leau it may have been... Anyone wanting that scent have a look at this one..

Even in the 2 minutes of spraying this, I literally have to press my nose against my wrist just to smell it, and even then I can barely smell it. This one is very weak in terms of projection. Classic The One EDP is stronger than this.

Love at first sniff at a fragrance shop. Reminds me of the OG but with a modern twist. Definitely going back to the shop for more sniffs before purchasing. Wish me luck.

It smells sour , it has no depth, non sillage , I find it a bit similar to musc nude from narciso, they have that same sour note.
