The Cuddle King, masterpiece of the Netflix and chill. I use this fragrance for one purpose and one purpose only. To cuddle up with a lady. But let me tell you it KILLS it for that purpose. The original is great for a date night OUT, the tobacco in the original make it more sophisticated and attention grabbing, but it is also a note a lot of girls aren't going to be too keen on sticking there nose in for 2.5 hours straight. The EDP intense on the other hand is better suited for a date night IN. It is comfort in a bottle. It is rich, creamy, powdery, and smells like soft leather and cashmere which has caused multiple girls to proclaim they just want to curl up in the scent and I have once even been asked to give it to a girl so she could spray it on her cuddle blanket at home. Also it has a mostly vanilla with a hint of chocolate essence in their plus a little bit of animalic scent which makes it both addicting and sexy. Projection on this isn't beastly.... Thank god. I don't know why so many people on these reviews seem to think that fragrances aren't good unless they have headache inducing levels of projection. Projection shouldn't be graded on a scale of good to bad, I use different colognes for different purposes and want a projection that matches that purpose. Leave the Versace's of the fragrance world for the club, that's not what this is for. Those types of colognes will be too overpowering to want to snuggle close to and will most likely give a girl a headache by the time the movies over. Besides, even if the girl likes the fragrance if she can smell it from a the other side of the couch what's compelling her to move closer? In these situations you want an intimate cologne that's going to lure them in for a closer smell. This stuff is perfect for that purpose. As I mentioned earlier it is addicting so they'll feel naturally compelled to come in closer for a better smell of it and once they're there they will feel warm and comfortable in the scent and not want to leave.

The One For Men Eau de Parfum Intense is the boldest and most sophisticated interpretation of The One line. Here, Dolce & Gabbana takes the fragrance in a fuller, warmer, and more seductive direction, reinforcing the line's spicy DNA with notes of leather and amber. The matte black bottle perfectly conveys this more serious, nocturnal approach. Final Score 8.7/10 The One For Men Eau de Parfum Intense is the most mature, elegant, and sensual version of the line. It delivers an enveloping combination of spices, leather, and amber, creating a striking and seductive aura. Its performance is satisfactory, especially for a designer perfume, but could be a little longer lasting considering the "Intense" line. For a designer this is pretty good. I think the bottle makes you think it's better than it really is. It does smell a bit like the cliché Designer men's fragrance (dark overly sweet Tonka with Cardamom), but it's decent quality and smells sexy. Nothing too special, other than the added Coconut note. Creamy coconutty scent (not suntan lotion, but coconut milk in cans to cook with) + has a slight baby-powder scent like Prada 'Luna Rosa Black'. Id label this in the 'cuddle scent' category. And it also smells great on clothes too! Low projection, med. longevity, intoxicating, addicting, dark, mysterious, pulls you in, yummy - buuuut, has a bit of a metro-sexual late 90's vibe, which is considered lame mentality today. :/ Because of the metro-sexual vibe that died in the 90's, i lost respect for it as i can't see myself confidently wear it anywhere which makes me not like it as much. I asked myself what this frag needs to be great, and i think a quality incense note would be amazing in it to modernize it and make it an incredible head-turning frag. Might try to layer it with Oud For Greatness and see how it pans out. You know, im starting to think these coconut frags are good for beachy vacations only...lol I 'Like' this, not a 'Love', and i never reached for it in 2 years. The bottle is heavy and piano black gloss gorgeous. The EDP is the superior one in the 5 frag line. 3.5/5 Woofs!

ATH rated this woody-sweet (my favourite type) a 10 and it immediately intrigued me. Sexily sweet without any vanilla or musks which is refreshing contrast to trends these days. The opening is effervescent there's some type of citrus even though its not listed. Cardamom and cypress combo is beautiful to keep it sharp while the clary sage sweetens. Once the freshness subsides, the neroli pulls everything together giving it an airy powdery vibe; extremely light, no where near the powderiness of orris. At the moment the performance is mid, lasts about 4hrs on lotioned skin. I hope this improves with maceration. Weak projector but definitely has effective sillage. I get compliments when moving about in the office or common areas. Once a random lady also tapped my shoulders from the back to ask what it was, unfortunately she wanted to buy it for her husband dang it. Suitable for all occasions except the beach. Impossible to offend and easy to appreciate. I feel The One EDP Intense has similar backlash like Dior Homme 2020; they would have been more positively received if branded to something else rather than a flanker of a crowd favourite. People need to enjoy fragrances as they are instead of pigeonholing them by name. 9/10 for me, 10/10 if maceration improves longevity.

Dont seem to be anything that pleases this crowd but whatever. I think its pretty nice so far, it feels like a darker and deeper The One edp . It starts off very familiar but takes a turn after a short bit to a really nice but different scent, I mean it changes almost completely I'd say which I am really liking. I think this is what a perfect flanker does, it takes the familiarity of the original and spins it in a completely different direction. This smells almost nothing like main stream frags, it's actually daring in many ways that you dont see in a bulk of mainstream releases, but it still stays in the realm of good smelling This is a bit sexy ,dark, something a little more mysterious I feel. I love how the notes work here with this If it smelled to close to the edp or og, then folks would bitch about that. So theres no winning with many of the so called fragrances fans, but for me I like what they've done here. The original scent to kick it off then it really breaks into it's own path with subtle hints of the original dna, this is what a good flanker does imo. Glad to see the rating holding at a solid 4.0, I think its deserving. Oh and this is not unisex, I would hate to smell this on a woman.

It opens with cardamom and cypress, giving a warm and fresh start. Neroli comes in early and stays present, adding brightness without making the scent feel too clean or sterile. It’s the first time I’ve smelled a fragrance that uses neroli in a bright way without focusing on freshness. That was a nice surprise, especially since I really enjoy neroli (and petitgrain). It reminds me a little of The One EDP and La Nuit, but it’s not trying to copy them. It’s in the same family, just with a different mood. There’s also a slight fougère touch, but it feels modern—no heavy lavender, no barbershop vibe. Just a clean structure that supports the rest. The drydown is the highlight. It doesn’t fall into wood or vetiver fatigue, and there’s no ink or sharpness. Instead, it turns into a soft, cozy mix of amber and leather. It’s slightly sweet but never too much. It stays close to the skin, feels safe, and smells comforting. Performance is solid, the price is fair, and it works in a lot of situations. It’s not loud or unique, but it’s dependable. Great for casual nights, office air conditioning, or relaxed dates. Easy to wear, no regrets and a safe blind buy.

My favorite designer in my collection. Before I started getting into niche fragrances, this was my favorite fragrance by far. Great pick for dates while still being great in a casual setting. I get a lot of herbaceousness and aromatics off of my skin, which makes this a great pick for me during the springtime. Still warm and sweet, but I get a really nice balance. This is still definitely not a fresh fragrance, it leans much more into colder weather than it does to warm weather. I do understand the similarity between this and Halloween Man Shot, but I think they're still fairly different. While HMS is great during the fall, The One Intense is similarly great during the spring. It's a little synthetic, but not quite to an off-putting degree. To anybody who can't really tell the distinction between niche oils and designer oils, this is totally fine. The performance of this stuff is very middle-of-the-road, leaning towards bad. Arm's length sillage, and 4-6 hours of longevity on my skin. 9/10

I bought this blind on Ebay from a guy who didn't like it, almost full yet around half price it's on sale everywhere else. At first I didn't like it either, not sure why as I couldn't put my finger on it. The dry down sold me though, my favourite scent on a woman is Chanel Mademoiselle, it drives me crazy, and this stuff when it's going through the mids smells like a more masculine CM. I absolutely love it now and prefer it to the original The One EDP. I'm still not mad keen on the opening, but after an hour or so it's phenomenonal. I'm so glad I bought it now as if I'd tried it on test strip in a store (here in my City they won't spray your skin sometimes in case you have an allergic reaction) I'd have swerved it for sure. Projection isn't great and neither is longevity, but this is an intimate scent, to my mind it's not meant to be shared with anyone other than the wearer and the person they want up close. This is date night material, it's not for bar hopping.

I ́m not a fan boy of the original The One EDP, I like it but not a "fan". So, I got this because it had a considerable discount, and I really hit jackpot. This is a really nice scent, the cardamom is different to the one in La Nuit de L ́Homme or the one in Armani Code Profumo, this cardamom is fresher, and the tobacco note from the EDP is completely out in favor of other notes like Leather, the Neroli and Cashmeran is what makes this a unique and sexy parfum, according to my wife, she found both different after a couple smells hours away, but equally sexy, she could not select one that she likes the most, and told me it depends on the day and the mood, with the OG for darker days, the intense for fresher days. The scents in this line are not clubbing/bar scents like sauvage or eros, these are close range scents, not a bar scent, this is a chill and cuddles scent, these are brutal in close range.

I can’t add much to what’s already been written below. This is an outstanding drop. On my skin, the cardamom and leather really throw solid punches. The neroli and patchouli round it off beautifully. Is it better than The One EDP or the EDT? I wouldn’t compare them at all. Different scents. While I get some of the DNA in this from them, this is a slightly darker, warmer vibe, especially when the patchouli opens up. The magic is in the trail it leaves. A world of difference between the scent on the skin and in the air. 3-4 sprays will last you a good 7-8 hours easily, but be warned. This ain’t a moderately projecting scent. It’s pretty strong stuff. Off my skin, it is. Criminally (or as luck might have it), someone gave away a brand new 100ml bottle for $65 AUD. No way was I hanging around to make a decision on that. Best worn in the colder months. Late autumn and winter. Bloody amazing. 👌🏻

The scent is super intoxicating. Really love it. I'm sad that this is not getting the limelight it potentially deserves. Though precisely because of that I can pick it up for relatively cheap price. I do agree with others that the primary downfall of this release is it's released under The One line and as the "intense" flanker. It's pretty questionable on that part if we compare EDT --> EDP "progression" with EDP --> Intense "changes". Probably with this day and age releasing it as the "elixir" could work but even then I'm not that confident. What it took away is just way too "central" to their DNA. If this is releasing under Brand / Line I think it'd be an instant hit. People won't compare this to The one at all. Like with prominence of cardamon and powderiness, I'm thinking of this as a "darker" version of Givenchy Gentleman EDT Intense.

I was wrong for ignoring this flanker, because of the community's impression of it. A different take on a DNA so successful (The One EDT and EDP) doesn't necessarily mean it's bad. This goes a creamier, spicy direction; the cardamom and cashmeran adds a cozy, sexy appeal to it and dare I say it's easier to wear than the original (for me). 6-7 hours on skin with moderate projection which doesn't fall off too quick after the first hour, more like it stagnantly softens as the hours pass by and I'll definitely choose that over having a beast mode projection the first hour then dries to a skin-scent immediately. This is now one of my favorites in my collection, easily. I still don't get the flak that this fragrance receives from the community, but thanks to those people, I'll smell more unique compared to if I wore the EDP.

Bold. Daring. Mysterious. Seductive. And misunderstood. The first time I tested The One EDP Intense, I wanted to scrub it off straightaway because it was so dense and rich. The mistake was to put my nose directly to the skin and I recoiled in disgust. I gave it another test, and was enveloped in a dark leather and bright neroli bubble that was Tom Ford-esque. I imagined The One having a threesome with Ombré Leather and Noir Extreme as Intense smelled to me like elements of those three intertwining as one. The projection and longevity far exceeds The One EDT and EDP. I think this is the best version of The One and would have been wildly popular if it bore the Tom Ford name. Pick Grey for the daytime, Intense for the evenings, and EDT or EDP for Netflix and chill.

There's something addictive about The One Intense. Has a recognizable character, but also something really unique that warrants frequent sniffing. It's a soft, smooth, clean scent that sticks close to the skin but doesn't vanish away quickly. Doesn't smell like it, but it reminds me of Club de Nuit Intense Man due to its distinct citrus/woody construction. It's in that sweer, dark territory. Man, this stuff is so sexy. I wouldn't want it any stronger. The soft character goes so well with the scent profile. I'm glad I bought it. It's so different from every other scent I have. As some folks below have mentioned, it's alluring and mysterious. I can see a woman refusing to stop sniffing her man's neck if he wore this, ha-ha. 🤓

excellent dating fragrance for the evening. Exactly what you’d expect and wish for from a Dolce & Gabbana Intense in a dark bottle. A great alternative to YSL Myslf if you want to switch up your dating scents a little. The fragrance carries the same dark, seductive concept as YSL Myslf. These seductive scents with a dark DNA are truly my signature fragrances. Absolutely blind-buy worthy, crowd-pleasing. From the opening all the way to the drydown, it convinces consistently without ever being off-putting or feeling like something doesn’t fit. Beautifully composed. Allthough the sillage and longevity could be a bit better. All in all, a great, beautiful fragrance and the brother of YSL Myslf.

I really like this. It grew on me. I really didn't like it at first, but it taught me that not all fragrances are supposed to be powerhouses. This has a very pleasant and welcoming smell. You could spray 3-4 times on a date night when you know you'll be upclose, or you could spray it on at night time to feel a luxurious kind of coziness lol. Very smooth and well rounded, I honestly just love this. Everyone hypes about how bad the performance is, but it's rather average if not just below. I'm beginning to see a pattern that tells me performance is subjective. I see people that say fragrances don't preform, and vice versa, but I have a better or worse experience. This one it nice.

Wow. I remember trying this when it first came out, and I liked it, but I disregarded it as I wasn't really into fragrance. I came back to it and remembered why I liked this so much. Cardamom, ambery, neroli and a heavy cashmeran dose creates this cozy profile that I find absolutely addicting. Soft, but noticeable. Sweet, but masculine. A little dark and earthy as well. Dare I say that this is better than the EDP. It certainly seems to have better performance, but it's not a beast- it's still a more "reserved" profile that is best for the same use and occasions as the EDP. Stunning fragrance. I will be picking up a bottle of this in the near future.

I like this more than The One EDT and EDP and generally love this fragrance. I am also confused with the fragrantica sillage ratings of this fragrance because this fragrance will fill a room for me. It is very intense in terms of sillage, projection and scent profile. This is a nice smelling fragrance and people will smell you. To me this is no longer a date night fragrance, as the EDP is known as, because the scent profile doesn't mesh well with eating food etc. and it can be slightly overwhelming for close encounters. This is great for bars, lounges, clubs, festivals, and most night time events.

This smells amazing! Its soo warm deep heavy spicy woody amber aromatic with a little bit of leathery smell in it. Its so sexy & it pleased everyone around you. This doesn't smell anything like the Spicebomb trust me i have OG and Infrared it smells way different. For me this is a more intense sweeter than The One EDP. This last longer around 6hours+ but silage projection goes down from 10 to 6 but it will stay to there for 6hours. compare it to the EDP which only last 4hours max this one last way longer. For a person who likes strong deep mature smell i recommend having this in your collection.

This is a wonderful fragrance. The cardamom and neroli work together in a way that becomes far greater than the sum of their parts. As is often the case with D&G, it delivers a smooth, effortlessly seductive scent. Its visual equivalent would be high-waisted trousers, a slightly unbuttoned shirt, and a tailored wool overcoat. It's not for everyone. It's a fragrance for people who live in a city defined by history, art, and architecture. It simply exudes sophistication and sends the message: I've got everything under control. It quickly became one of my all-time favorites. Absolutely exquisite.

A very elegant masculine fragrance, the citrusness of Cardamom and Neroli give it an elegant warm citrus note. The cashmeran and Oakwood keep it deep and warm, it's a very well rounded fragrance. Longevity and projection are really great, lasting even for 6-8 hours at times. It does get a bit cloying, so no more than 3 sprays I'd say it's enough, every time I wear it I obviously put hydrating cream on first. I haven't seen it anywhere around the most popular fragrance sites, and never smelled it around, so you'll also have something less mainstream. Price point is fair if I have to say.

Lovely perfume like the original EDP. I made a mistake when I bought this one in February. I should have done it earlier, because by the scent you can determine that it's for cold weather. It doesn't matter if you wear it in Spring, it doesn't have a good performance. The One Intense is one of my favorite Dolce&Gabbana fragrances. I started with 50ml, probably gonna continue afterwards. I adore its spicy, woody and amber smell. Top notes are wonderful. I recommend you to buy this one during the fall, so you can kick ass with this one in the club until spring comes.

Warm masculine and deep. leathery woody base with the leather and the patchouly ,But it gets the floral contrast from heavy neroli and a hint of vanilla sweetness from the benzoin, mix into very mature aroma, suit for a businessman who wants to smell expensive but not too sweet and flamboyant , It’s better for evening occasions , but throughout the winter could be worn for business lunch as well . It’s got a pretty good silage and it last about 5 hours but won’t stick to clothes. It’s a solid buy, but not the most unique out there

Tony Shades called it, this really calls to mind Dior Allure Homme (at least the banded cap reform version I have) - far more than it does original The One - with the heavy dose of cashmeran doing a lot to replicate the accord created by that long list of notes in the Dior, particularly the coconut impression which I think is the combination of cashmeran, benzoin, sage, and neroli. Typical of the line, projection is short-lived, but also typical of the EdPs it has a decent life close to the skin, usually around six hours for me.

Just received this fragrance today from Fragrancenet.com they accidently or(purposely) sent me this instead of the EDP version I asked for. I was really hoping for the EDP version an im kind of upset cause I've never smelt it before an really wanted that one but this one actually smells pretty good, it smells similar to spicebomb extreme but with a twist. I'd be careful ordering from that website though. It was my first time ordering from them an probably my last, it also took well over 2 weeks for my order to arrive to canada.

I got a free sample, not knowing anything about this scent. As soon as i sprayed it, my jaw dropped ! Wow, what a surprise. It doesn't smell at all like the original. It's very unique, dark, intoxicating masculine scent. Smooth, warm cardamom cleaned up with light, fruity neroli and some sexy, alluring leathery musk. It smells incredible! I think this falls under the same family of scents like La Nuit De Lhomme (alluring date night scent) but I honestly like this one more. This stuff is criminally underrated !

Hate very The One in the line except for this one. Leather, cashmere, sweet-ish cardamom and some sweetness and depth from labdanum and patchouli? Count me in, man. It's a very soft but sexy scent. I don't get any neroli.. or maybe it's the softness that adds to the cashmere. I was scared when I saw nerol three times, as I hate the note.. but it doesn't bother me here, someho.. thanks, D&G. Does not perform the best. You get 4-5 hours on skin though. Sillage is moderate.

I LOVE this. I've only worn it twice. Both times in the last 48hrs. Three sprays around the neck each time, and it lasts FOREVER on my skin. I sprayed it on in the morning, it lasted ALL day, did a 3km pool swim in the afternoon and it's STILL on my skin. This is simply stellar getting better the longer it sits. I'm being hugged by a spicey, warm, sweet, sophisticated, classy, leathery envelope that makes my eyes roll back in ecstasy!

I understand why people who love The One are confused by this perfume. The top note of this perfume is so different from the previous The One perfume. Top note smells like candied fruits. Base note feels like The One edt + Prada L'Homme. This perfume is good in itself. If you are going to a bar on a cold day and getting dressed up, spray this perfume. It is a very sexy scent. It doesn‘t smell like coconut and chocolate.

If you want to go on a one off date wear something else, if you want her to marry you wear The One Intense. This thing is so good, spicy, clean, woody, exactly what you want for a date night. Performance is good, lasts 6hrs on skin, first 3 hrs. strong projection at least 4ft then goes down to a skin scent. If you are in a car, this is all they will smell. If you got the money this is the only scent you need for dates.

An elegant, sexy fragrance for a date night. Thanks to the cashmere, it is very elegant and sophisticated for not young people, but not for old men. I think the perfect age is 25-40. It is sexy because of its sweetness, masculine but very soft and has a clean smell. The effect of the cashmere + sweet is very similar to the nishane ani x, but it has a different type of smell (this is not gurmand scent and less citrusy).

This should be renamed The One Black since there are Grey and Gold. It is the direct rival to Prada Luna Rossa Black, which somehow gets all the accolades and attention when The One EDP Intense is darker, richer and more complex. Floral, leathery, powdery... Deep, cosy, mysterious... Five years since its release, the emergence from the shadows of its illustrious sibling The One EDP is overdue.

Dolce & Gabana The One EDP Smells like the most luxurious and Bougie Christmas/Holiday Party you've ever attended. I get Cardomon,Cinnamon, and a Photo-realistic Hot cocoa topped with Whipped cream accord. Got this in yesterday hoping it would be different from the original so I'd have 2 distinct scents. Man was I pleased. This is quite a bit different and yet so great. To me it is a bit more spicy and woody. Definitely get a slight leather hint but not overly leathery. I have it on now for 6 hours. Still smell it when I move around. As much as I love the original I may like this more.

This is a grown-up and sexy type of scent. This would be a perfect date night scent as it is an intimate scent and not one that yells or screams. It's mellow and soft but still noticeable. If this was stronger like some people wanted, it would be cloying and nauseating. Instead, it's restrained and classy instead of brash and loud. This is lovely and a scent for a gentleman.

When I first spray it I get a more spicy, loud version of The One EDP.. but once it settles it becomes smoother. I prefer the dry down over the opening which is a good thing I guess. The One EDP is a more “safe” wear for the average guy since it’s a very inoffensive scent, but Intense is the darker more mysterious version for the guy with an edge. Just my personal opinion.

Now we're getting a bit playful. This one.....oh this one is just another masculine classic by Dolce. The cashmere/cardamom/neroli combo speaks to me like Christopher Cross's Sailing track does on a nice walk on Miami Beach at night. If you want something she's gonna want to sniff on you up close, and I mean UP CLOSE. Please do yourself a favor and get this one.

A "come hither, come back" scent. On paper this fragrance unfurled like spiced honey, a sweet musk. The dry down had me crossing the room just to lift it to my nose again. I couldn't help the thought, "This smells very like a good man." On my skin, that soft musky welcome is alive and present. It plays close to the skin like the personification of a sexy aura.

This one has really grown on me to become a favorite. I like the initial spray scent but LOVE the drydown scent, I find myself sniffing my wrist or shirt often as a result just to smell it. Projects well and lasts long too I will still smell it on my shirt the next day. Really checks most of the boxes I am looking for and thus gets a 9.1 from me.

Dry spicy leathery scent - with hints of coconut ?? I LOVE this. It's not juvenile, and definitely not a clubbing scent nor a boozy fragrance. It's perfectly worn by a confident man in his mid 30's, leading silently, and sparkling boldly! I only regret the longevity; it only lasts for like 4 hours... Must be applied twice a day at least! 9/10

Unrelated to the original. It has a creamy nuance that reminds of the original Allure Homme, but with a dark woody spicy twist, kind of like Allure Homme by Night or something. Regardless of any similarity with anything, it's a very nice fragrance, but should have been released as a new standalone piece. The same goes for the Gold flanker.

After the disappointment I had with the EDP, this is the best! No point of comparison, it is one of my most praised perfumes. On me it lasts 6 to 7 hours. And it projects very well. I use it in summer and winter, I think it is very versatile. Every time I put it on I say: What a wonderful perfume." Without a doubt one of my favorites.

im telling you rn... if any other part of the top notes other than the cardamom somehow stayed on top of the mix it blends into in the drydown this would be a perfect fragrance for me...and if it lasted for another two to three hours. id give it a 9.7 just on the opening but a 8 overall i wish the opening lasted longer

Just got this in, it is an incredibly beautiful masculine fragrance. The opening smells like a much more refined, classy, and sweet spicebomb. As with all the one fragrances, performance could be a bit better but the scent is immaculate. Everyone is spot on when they say this is a perfect date night fragrance.

I was expecting a bolder version of The One but this is nothing whatsoever like the original. After my initial disappointment at it not meeting expectations I've grown to really like this one, the best flanker from this line by far and performance is a lot better for me than the original.

A friend gifted me a sample. I sprayed it on the back of my hand and tried to figure out the notes. It reminds me to incense, dry orange peel and a nice leather. It's a really good fragrance. Then I checked the notes and found neroli is the name of the orange flower. So it makes sense.

Not my favourite of the one line. The EDP and the new parfum take that crown but this is a great cold weather classy alternative. It’s definitely a different take on the usual DNA but not necessarily a bad one, it’s more limited in its usage as a result but still performs beautifully

Easily the most outstanding of the line. It's the most alluring and charming. Dense, full body resinous with enough sweetness that is so addictive. Great for dress up and evening, but also nice for cooler day if applied lightly. The scent and the quality is top tier. 9.5/10 for me.

First time i smelled this stuff i thought it was perfect. Now it is my signature scent but i don't like the opening at all. It smells so weird on my skin. However, when i spray it on my clothes and leave it for a couple of hours it becomes more sweet and warm.
