The One for Men Eau de Parfum

If you're in the middle of bitter divorce with your EDT version of The One, as you love her, but you hate her performance, then having a love affair with this EDP version may just be the best thing to happen to you. The One, despite it's overwhelming popularity is still my signature scent, even though I'm very aware tons of people know of, or wear this scent. It's just that damn good and I (and women) cannot get enough of this juice. It's a delicate, masterfully blended harmony of tobacco, grapefruit, ginger and amber. The ginger-tobacco combo really makes this special as it adds character. The grapefruit adds the citrus note without making it sharp. It's probably one of the smoothest citrus notes I've experienced. What makes this scent so incredible is really just how delicate, subtle, and pleasing it is. It's so warm and comfy, so cuddley and sitting by the fireplace in a warm blanket, nice and toasty. Perfect for cold weather. This is an absolute lady-killer and a perfect date fragrance. This is perfect for intimate situations, and close encounters. This is not by any means a projection bomb. It's not loud, but very soft. It's a pretty minimal scent bubble around you, and people must be within half an arm to an arms distance to really smell it on you, but when they do, they just love it and want to hug you and smell you. God, just writing this review, I had to spray some on my wrist, and now this review is taking longer to write because I keep smelling myself. Really one of my all time favourite scents. A true masterpiece. I haven't enjoyed a scent this much since Encre Noir. I think I even like this better as far as selfish scents go. Encre Noir takes you on a fragrance journey where you write your own story, but this one makes me want to make love to my wrist, lol. This is pure sex. So, performance. Hate to say it guys, but it's not a huge improvement from the EDT. But it IS an improvement. Smells almost identical to the original EDT, except maybe a little bit thicker, while the EDT is more airy. I'd agree with what others say, while the EDT maybe lasts 4 hours tops on you, this one will squeeze out another 1.5-2 hours or more depending on your skin, making for a respectable ~6 hours or so of longevity. Projection and silage are the about the same as before, not great, but longevity was improved. This is a close encounters scent afterall. When it comes down to it, if you already have the EDT, don't buy the EDP, it's the same scent. Wait until you finish your EDT bottle first (which given how long it lasts, should be soon enough) then grab yourself an EDP. Or, buy the EDP if you're afraid of reformulations (and rightfully so- thanks a lot western houses and the IFRA) and want a backup bottle. However if you have the choice of buying the EDT or EDP, only a fool would buy the EDT. Scent: 10/10 Silage:4/10 Longevity:6/10 Personal Appreciation: Sex/10

Smells like a man under a lamppost with a trench coat and a fedora during a warm, mysterious night, you can tell he means no harm because he’s just waiting for the bus while minding his own business. Absolutely gorgeous and alluring. It doesn’t need to project or fill a room to announce itself. 7-10 sprays creates the perfect sillage /scent trail. It fills a nice bubble around you while leaving an amazing trail without blasting the whole entire area because that’s just how the fragrance works. It radiates nicely but doesn’t scream “IM HERE SMELL ME” to your nose but rather “hey, thought I’d stop by, I hope you’re enjoying you’re day” it’s not too heavily incensey/armoatic, but has the perfect balance of a nice soft/barely noticeable grapefruit at the top that prevents the fragrance from being too overpowered by the light tobacco and cardamom, with the ginger and orange blossom giving The One EDP 2015 a great effervescence, slight soapy/floral medicinal vibe . Of course all of this put together with nice herbal/spice top notes of basil and coriander and a solid ambery/cedarwood base , nothing to be said there except beautiful. It doesn’t smell like a spice cabinet or too oriental, it retains its Italian mob boss status. The longevity and projection could be better but honestly that’s not what I’m looking for in a fragrance. The One hits that sweet spot for me when it comes to sillage, projection and longevity. I don’t wanna explode a room with a fragrance. I don’t want to be smelled 5 minutes after I left the area. I like a nice 1-1.5 ft radius sillage, with a scent trail that doesn’t follow me to the bathroom, but instead follows me around a corner. I get about 6 hours with 2 hours being a skin scent, so about 8 in total. Amazing fragrance and I’m sad I wasn’t in the game when this stuff was popular but who knows , I think it’s perfectly rated now and has its place in the fragrance world. Olivier and his father truly created a legacy in perfumery and may be the best father/son duo in fragrance history, of course he has many more years to come and I hope he revisits this masterpiece.

Hello Everybody! I'm wearing it day/night. I always get good compliments which makes my day!! I am seeing here that many people are complaining about the longevity. So here is the solution guys. First of all use jojoba oil contents (I am using the palmolive ones) for both hair and body shampoo. After finishing shower you should put PURE jojoba oil with some cotton just to your neck area and wait 15 minutes to dry a little. After that you can spray your magic. How to spray: Don't think that owerspraying will increse the longevity. (even it's transforming to a terrible scent.) Spray it to different parts of your neck area from FAR away and especially close to your hair area. The most important part: After doing everything you said 'no nothing happened' 'still no longevity' etc..I understand you but don't give up. All you need is time. You should adapt your body for to be moisturized. I tested and for my VERY DRY skin I needed minimum 15 days. But finally it worked! So if you are complaining for longevity issues for any scent you should apply JOJOBA oil. This is very impotant... Results; 9 hours.......... I make the test everyday...... First 3 hours very good projection and longevity. 4-5 hours you get decent projection and longevity. After that it becomes to a skin scent with some jojoba oil. smell. Then scent turns to a secret weapon... If you are on a date, you will understand what i mean.;) From a fragrance what you can need more? 9 hour is more than enough for everything... Just a quick note: To understand how amazing the scent: Hold your breath for 10 seconds and then spray it your neck. Smell gently. Not joking! uh?! Thanks a lot D&G for creating such a beauty. D&G The One Eau De Parfum in 2025. One of the first scents I purchased on my fragrance journey and probably one of the first scents you'll learn about buying to start your collection. This was a recommendation from multiple influencers a few years back when I started and I was immediately hooked. Something described as a great date night, winter, ambery fragrance, which still holds up to its promises today. A common complaint on this one was the lack of projection which is unfortunately the case; While it lasts all day on as a skin scent, I can no longer pick up on the fragrance off my neck after only a few hours. But for those first moments after spraying, this is a smooth amber tobacco scent without being heavy on the nose despite its listed notes. I won't pretend I can pick up on every note listed here. If anything else, the grapefruit gives it some more depth in the opening, but that amber is lovely, one of the best amber notes in a Designer fragrance I ever tried a few years back, and still the case to this day. Since its release, there have been a TON of similar releases, mostly in its category. But for me, nothing else that's shook the fragrance industry is like D&G The One Eau De Parfum. Nowadays, fragrances in this category are being released as overly sweet, some headache-inducing, but The One EDP is incredibly smooth and can be over sprayed without issue. A must-buy if you enjoy winter designer scents.

From the moment I spritzed it on, I was greeted with a fresh opening that surprised me with its mildly sweet citrus aroma and a hint of ginger. It's definitely more vibrant than what you'd typically expect from a tobacco scent. After about 5 minutes, the fragrance evolves into a delightful blend of sweet and spicy tobacco. Don't worry about any overwhelming smokiness here; it leans more towards a pleasant, subtly sweet aroma. As the journey progresses, around the twenty-minute mark, the drydown begins, and the tobacco note remains prominent, now beautifully complemented by a sweet amber and mild white florals. This combination gives it a rich depth without being overpowering. One notable downside that many have pointed out is the performance. After the initial application, the scent seems to lose its projection after about an hour, transitioning to a skin scent up to the fourth hour before it eventually fades away. While I can understand the criticism regarding its longevity, I personally don’t mind it. I see The One EDP as an excellent choice for a date night or a cozy dinner, rather than a loud club environment. It's also perfectly suitable for the workplace during colder months, as it's a soft scent that’s easy on the nose.

The most original and delightful scent I've sniffed in years. And that is not an easy combination to find, let me tell you. You can find stuff that smells like nothing else you've ever smelled (Xeryus Rogue, Givenchy) but it smells like an old Christmas tree mixed with cheap potpourri. The One is very original, and smelling it you just can't get enough. People are too harsh on the performance, but I believe this isn't meant to be a powerhouse scent, nor should it be. There are other perfumes for when you want to be smelled from across a room (Spicebomb, Xeryus Rogue, One Million). But if you just want people close to you to enjoy being close, The One is a perfect option. You can always respray. Most, if not all the reviews I read say this is a cold time scent, but I disagree completely. The fruitiness of the scent makes it perfect for a spring or summer day, although not a pool party type occasion. As it dries down, the tobacco and wood become more evident, and this is why most people say it is for use in the cold, but like I said, you can always re apply and get that fruitiness/freshness again, and the wood/tobacco definetely retain a touch of the ginger, so, I'm definetely using it this spring/summer. Amazing piece of art.

Dolce & Gabanna The One EDP is fantastic. Despite having tobacco, woods & cardamom its still very crisp; the citrus & ginger are very pronounced giving it a fresh bite thats not common with heavier scent profiles. While on the surface by the note break down & accords youd think this is only a winter fragrance. However, the grapefruit & ginger definitely push its limits as a 3 season fragrance. Technically, I could see this even used in summer at night or cool days. Its equally citrus based as it is woody/tobacco which is why i believe its performance suffers, as the drydown develops you'll get more of that woody/tobacco base, as the grapefruit & ginger dissipate. I only get 4 ish hours before its a skin scent & I agree with the collective comments. The One EDP is still excellent & good for daily inoffensive use, like work or intimate moments! I do wish it lasted a few hours longer but the DNA is immaculate! Theres no denying that. I think if you merely went off the note break down youd be assuming this is a dense, heavy fragrance but its very light. As someone who dislikes tobacco its gently used here.

bought a sample of this. was slightly disappointed because with how everyone was glazing this as basically the single sexiest and better smelling male fragrance there is, turns out it's not! it's a great fragrance, the smell is really nice, however it's not THAT good. doesn't project a lot, I was expecting less on longevity but it's actually lasting more than 2 hours, approaching even 4 (still not a lot but better than the 1-2 hours span most people were giving to this fragrance). with this said, I won't buy the full bottle because yes, it has a great smell, but not the best and the fragrance does not project well at all and the longevity is eh. talking about the fragrance itself, it's manly, spicy, ambery, I can find a touch of citrus but most importantly the tobacco note is really really good. opening is better than the drydown imo. I feel like this isn't that heavy of a scent unlike what the season ratings this fragrance has on here, still it's not for summer days for for evenings I don't see the problem with it!

My favorite fragrance of all time. I don't know what the amber note is that just wildly differentiates this cologne from others in the oriental class, but god it does it perfectly. This cologne will have those around you staying an extra few seconds to get another whiff. Your guy friends will say "Damn what's that?", and your girl friends will say "Wow you smell good." It's warm, masculine, inviting, comforting. The slight tobacco makes you seem perhaps a bit stronger, or a bit more gruff than you really are. I get the sense that if I sprayed this perfection on my face, my stubble would immediately sprout back. It's the Heritage Series Grandeur of colognes. A sleek, vintage black vehicle, but with the modern traits, qualities, and interiors expected of luxury today. As a regular disliker of hyper masculine scents, The One pivots on a fine line of clearly a man, yet not one covered in booze/smoke/tar/wood/black pepper. If I was ever fossilized in amber, I hope it smells like this stuff.

This is an edp, so the complaints about longevity and projection are worthy of being ignored because this fragrance performs exactly how I expect an edp to perform. I actually count on it when I need to not offend sensitive noses but I want to smell great up close. Alright,.. this frag is a no brainer. I bet you could wear this anytime besides the peak of summer, and anywhere altogether. Easy reach, for sure signature scent worthy, work day, date night, afternoon stroll, cheat code. For a guy who wants a simple one and done, no further thought required, guaranteed winner, this is definitely in the mix. For the price these days, I have no problem recommending this as it smells expensive at a great price. I love this one, the dry down, that is described as "weak", is actually a well designed frag. Other people aren't as blind to the scent, and when they catch a hint, it makes them want to get closer for more. That's what magnetism is.....

One of the best fragrances, period. Longevity is no issue for me either. It's still on my skin over 24 hours after application, while it was pretty strong after 8+ hrs of just two sprays. Batches play some part, but skin is way more important, and I've never had many problems with fragrances lasting. One particular of note was Bleu de Chanel, which is fully gone after 4 hours. So, let's directly compare D&G The One EDP vs BdC EDP. Scent? I love BdC in scent and is a top 20 in my collection, but The One EDP is a top five (think Versace Blue Jeans, but a grown-up version, or more loosely, CK One Shock, which does smell pretty similar towards the end). Longevity? More than double. Price? The One EDP is half price (I paid £59 for 150ml The One EDP, £115 for 150ml BdC EDP). Only Dior Homme Intense is in the equation for best designer fragrance ever for me. But The One EDP will give it an extremely close run.

I mean, I don't know what to say about this perfume. I think this has become my favorite perfume's DNA. The opening scent, with its grapefruit and basil, feels like a blue scent, but after a while, it becomes much warmer and more spicy. It's a great nighttime perfume, a great date perfume, and it's also great for the office because the sillage is quite low and doesn't bother people. That's where the problem really begins. People have to be right next to you to smell it. This is due to the relatively low sillage. Furthermore, the perfume's performance isn't very high; after 3-4 hours, I have trouble detecting it. This perfume has been used a lot, I've gotten used to it a lot, and its performance isn't great, but it's still one of my favorite scents. I don't wear it as much as I used to; it's just a fragrance I wear occasionally. If you don't care about performance but want a great scent, I recommend it.

very light citrusy opening and a bit spicy from the ginger/cardamom. Quickly turns into a sweet sexy smell that’s also light and airy. Almost like a “lavendery” powder vibe , I can picture a warm breeze or something. It’s not a typical thick sweet scent, it’s sweet yet still light and fresh. I can’t stop smelling it, it’s magnificent! I don’t get any tobacco just the amber and cedar. Like the other reviews reverberate, I can tell it’s not going to be a huge performer. 3 sprays on my hand and I have to get close to smell it after 30 minutes or so but it’s so good! I don’t like wearing super loud fragrances, I don’t want to be “that guy” and choke people out of a room. I like the scents you smell when walking by a person, going in for a hug, cuddling on the couch. Time will tell if it’s worth a full purchase but for now I am definitely enjoying it!

Fragrance Journal Entry #18 There isn't much to be said about this fragrance that hasn't already been said, none the less i'll chime in. This fragrance is the most beautiful masculine scent you could possibly imagine and if not for the performance would be on the MT. Rushmore of mens fragrances. It's this beautiful warm slightly boozy tobacco masterpiece that can only be described as heavenly, unfortunatly as we all know the performance is an act of war on the entire fragrance community. You get about 1h projection with 3-4h longevity. D&G made some half assed atempt to rectify this by creating an "intense" version which was completely devoid of all things that made the EDP special. My best advice is buy this anyway and use it for intimate special date night occasions, i.e. netflix and chill ect. Rating: 9.1/10 Blind Buy Safe? YES

As most everyone agrees, this is a ridiculously good scent. The smell is simply delightful. And the gripe this gets is almost always about poor performance, but I gotta say my experience has been different. I did a couple sprays to the neck and to the chest. For the first few hours I could smell this on myself pretty well, so decent enough projection at least for a little while. Where my experience diverges the most is when it comes to longevity. I slept in my shirt and the next morning I could still smell it on myself, easy. In fact, I’m still wearing that shirt and I am still getting whiffs of The One on myself even now, over 12 hours later. I didn’t even spray it directly on my clothes. It may not be a projection powerhouse but I think the longevity of this frag is highly underrated. It’s worth every penny you might spend.

This is my absolute favorite of all time. It is fleeting and is not a projection monster. Not even a compliment monster. Maybe it’s not for all. But what does it for me is the boozy note. I know it’s not listed and you’re not gonna find that with the new renditions. Yes I’m talking about the original!!! Reformulation should be illegal. Just get a new bottle and have AI generate a name for it for Christ sake. So I know there is no booze notes but it must be the tobacco, citrus, amber and cedar. The way it’s blended. I just can’t find something similar nor has the professional dupe houses been able to recreate. I guess I should go snag some back up bottles. Take this as a review for the original edp. 2026 edp and Parfum are nice. I’ll leave a review for them as I get more time but it does not fill the original for me.

Este fue el segundo perfume que me enamoró y me hizo entrar a este mundo de la perfumería. Es un aroma cálido, seductor, ambarado y masculino, que por más que pase el tiempo no deja de ser totalmente recomendable tenerlo en tu colección. Es un aroma muy adictivo, de esos que dan ganas de volver a oler una y otra vez. En mi país, cuando lo olí por primera vez, no tenía el dinero para comprarlo y, lamentablemente, allá en Chile es muy difícil encontrar este perfume. Cuando llegué acá a Estados Unidos no dudé ni un instante en comprarlo y ha sido una de mis mejores compras, la verdad. Me encanta utilizarlo, pese a que en Florida hace demasiado calor. Si vives en un lugar donde el clima es más templado, tirando a frío, definitivamente este puede ser tu perfume. Firma: 10 de 10.

The Classic. The OG. The “One”. This is just a really, really good starter for anyone trying to get into dark and mysterious tobacco designer scents. While I’m a big fan of the Intense and the Gold versions for their youthfulness, this one is just the most refined scent out of the three (don’t worry EDT I love you as well). Everyone wants to talk about how bad the longevity is (and yes it is damn terrible, and I mean TERRIBLE) ; but if you can ignore that, you can appreciate this grapefruit, tobacco, amber and cardamom DREAM of a classic man’s man scent that this is. It’s one of the GOATS of the designer space for a reason, and a good reason. But if you want longevity and you plan on wearing this one often, buy the largest bottle. It’s cheap nowadays. 10/10.

Like many people, I have a love/hate relationship with this fragrance. The One EDP is my best smelling fragrance, the opening is so fresh and citrusy and then in the dry down you get this beautiful amber and tobacco mix that is just so addicting. It almost makes sense why it turns to a skin scent so quickly because it just draws people in you want and need to get close to smell it. The performance is where I hate this fragrance, it very quickly becomes a skin scent, and I personally go noseblind to it often as well. I mostly wear this on intimate date nights where youe cuddling up in bed watching a movie together, but I will often just spray this on me and my bed before I go to sleep.

I own The One Parfum, The One Eau de Toilette, and The One Parfum Intense, but I don’t feel there’s a huge difference in the scent between the Parfum and the EDT. All of them suit fall and winter best, and they work especially well for nighttime occasions like going out for drinks. The longevity isn’t great, but I carry a small travel atomizer and reapply whenever I feel like it, so that’s not really an issue. It’s not an overpowering scent that grabs everyone’s attention, but it’s subtle and distinctive enough to express quiet individuality. It’s the kind of fragrance that lingers in the memory of someone who gets close to you, easily becoming “your” scent.

Got my 150ml bottle in today. €83. Good value. Figured I would buy it (the old formulation) before it is gone as it is discontinued and reformulated/re-released. As soon as I sprayed myself with it, it brings back really welcome aroma memories. I would argue that this is not a winter fragrance but a summer evenings fragrance (I'm in Ireland so winter and summer are not worlds apart) my argument is that this wont project on cold skin but will give a little push when it is warmer. Anyway it is a beautiful very warm hug of a fragrance. Ginger, Grapefruit, cardamon, tobacco/amber. Very glad I picked this up before it is gone. It is one of the greats

I don't know why everyone is complaining about longevity and sillage. I applied it today, a "Made in Italy" bottle from July 2025, and so far, I'm almost six hours in and I can still smell it on me. It's not a beast, but it's intimate, as it should be. I see this as a cuddling scent, not a club banger. You want people to be drawn in, not be choked out. And whatever you do, don't over spray, ever! Over spraying is for insecure people and attention whores. Fragrances should be worn with confidence. ADDITION: Now, more than 21 hours in, I can still smell it on the t-shirt, I wore yesterday. It's faint, but it's still there.

Date night in a bottle. Still worth getting even if you have the new parfum. It contrasts these deep, dark, creamy tobacco and amber accords with a bright and refreshing grapefruit, cardamom, and ginger combo. Imagine being on a date with a cute girl sitting across from you in a nice, dimly lit restaurant. The two of you are getting to know each other over a glass of the most finely aged wine around while you wait patiently for your food, cooked by one of the best chefs for 1,000 miles. That's what this smells like to me. One of the sexiest fragrances I have smelled and still a masterpiece despite the performance.

AGHHH WHY IS IT SO WEAK! The One EDP is honestly one of the best smelling fragrances, if not the best, that I've ever owned or smelled. It's unfortunate that I really only buy it for myself since I'm the only who can fucking smell it cause of the shitty performance. If you're looking for compliments while wearing this, your only hope would be to grab people heads and start fucking motorboating them so they could notice it or something idk. D&C making me feel like a sucker cause I wrote this after I bought a 150 ml bottle for a 2nd time cause the performance sucks ass yeah but god damn does smell it good.

150ml bottle. 2024 batch. Made in Italy. Atomizer is pressurized. Delightful is a great description of the scent. Absolutely a masterpiece, regardless of those crying over the longevity. Spray heavy and enjoy the night. I could smell this on my shirt the next day so Im not worried about longevity. I steamrolled into fragrances and blew right past The One edp. Not sure why I disregarded it for so many years, but I am ashamed of that. I smelled the reformulation 2 weeks ago and I am still pissed. The reformulation is the reason I jumped on an "older" 5oz bottle. I may need a couple more

Classic, beautiful, hall of fame fragrance. Masculine, grown man scent. Too mature for anyone under 25 in my opinion. It would be a personality contrast. I get 6-8 hrs on my skin. Still smell it the next day on my clothes. I spray several times in the morning before work, and my girlfriend still smells it on me when I get home. To say this is a "weak" fragrance is simply idiotic. 6-8 sprays and I would be nuking people at my office. You knuckleheads screaming about it being weak need to put down the straw and stop snorting, because your nose is definitely whacked. 10/10 fragrance.

Tested the new 2025 in store, is as weak as piss comparatively to my 2017 bottle which is deep smoky amber, clary sage and torac orange. Fortunately I purchased two back then and still have one sealed, as the OG was absolutely divine and lasts days when sprayed on clothing. This new formulation is like watered down squash for children, which makes sense given it is in majority children or puerile men who purchase these fragrances in modernity and treat them as vapes or energy drinks to be consumed. What a sad era to reside in.

Best smelling perfume OAT to my nose definitely. Smells just perfect in all the ways you want it to, sweet, dark, masculine, birthday cake, mysterious. Even though the performance is lacking heavily it just smells amazing and its really a perfume which you will only smell strongly when you are in intimate distance with someone. But shit i cant even describe the smell because its it own fragrance but its sweet not too sweet and just amazing bro. Buy this if you just like smelling good for yourself or spray a shit ton

Who needs niche fragrances when we have masterpieces like this? Seriously... One of the best scents I've ever tried. Happy to have bought a full bottle. This is much in the vein of La nuit de l'homme, another superb classic. Main difference to my nose being that DG The One leans a bit more aromatic, herbaceous, and woody. Super sensual, warm, masculine (but not in any way macho). Like a heartfelt hug. Also incredibly sophisticated. Not sure about performance yet, but this is so good I honestly dont care. 4.7 / 5.

Absolutly delightful, I got a 10ml but after finishing it with it being summer, I haven't felt the need to pull the trigger. Just a splendid scent though, oh man. If sillage and longevity was better, this would be an all time classic, but honestly, I like it just how it is. Looking forward to checking back on this in the winter! But for now, I'm all out of my decant. Soft, sexy, sweet, and cozy honestly, what a smell to watch a movie in or read a book with. Amber, cardemom, ginger, and fruits. 8.8/10

Love at first sniff! A woody amber bomb mixed to perfection. I get very subtle hints of tobacco and sweetness from the orange blossom. This is a top date night fragrance, hard to wear during the day, so dont get to wear it as much as i’d like. Projection is great for the first 2 hours and then starts to fade. Longevity is average and lasts on my skin a good 4 hours. Rating of 4.5/5 seems just right, and is definitely on my list of repeat purchases. Cant wait to try The One pour homme parfum 2025.

Picked up for £70 for 150ml. Absolute steal. This stuff is classy, elegant, seductive and offers the perfect balance of sweetness and spice. These types of perfume are meant to be gentle and intimate. Longevity is great for me, sillage is moderate. It doesn't need to be any more than that - and if you're interested in being the loudest smelling person in the room - buy Spicebomb Extreme. This and La Nuit de l'Homme are my event/date night go to's, and i am very happy to keep it that way :)

I simply cannot get enough of this fragrance. It really does smell divine. Every new purchase insisting on replacing it's amount of use in my rotation, it just does not replace this one. I'm at the point where I'm not sure what more to say, I insist you try this yourself. It's the best amber note in a Designer fragrance. It's good longevity but a quick skin scent, which means I overspray the heck out of this and I don't offend anyone near me. This fragrance really is "The One". 10/10

The One by Dolce & Gabbana has a timeless appeal that’s hard to ignore. It opens smooth and warm, with a beautiful blend of spices, subtle sweetness, and that signature tobacco-amber backbone. The fragrance feels elegant, cozy, and effortlessly classy without ever trying too hard. It’s not a loud scent, but its intimate projection makes it perfect for close encounters and evening wear. This is a scent I genuinely enjoy wearing and one that will always have a place in my collection.

9.5/10 scent. Terrible performance. You absolutely need to overspray. I keep a refillable atomizer with me when I'm going somewhere important and I'm wearing this fragrance. If you've sampled this and are dead set on purchasing it - go for the largest size you can get - and definitely get yourself a refillable atomizer. Do not buy retail, only buy from a discounter - a fragrance with terrible performance is an even worse decision when purchased full price.

Love at first smell. The 2015 formulation is one of, if not my favorite scent ever. If you're not wearing this to date nights you should be disappointed with yourself. Performance is average but who cares, literally just spray extra if you want more projection. I'm so disappointed that they're discontinuing this masterpiece. I'm stocking up -- I want to have this in my collection for as long as I live, and I think you should too.

Honestly a beautiful fragrance, yes quick to dry down, but it’s an amazing one. I haven’t come across such a well blended fragrance. To my nose, I get almost no citrus, but I get this wonderful cedar and amber note that just makes you want to dig your nose deeper into this scent. Really upset that such a great scent profile lacks the projection and longevity, but for what it’s trying to be, it does the job absolutely perfectly.

I used to absolutely adore this fragrance but unfortunately they have chmaged manufacturing from france to italy and the formula has changed. The new formula is significantly weaker and smells way to fruity compared to the old formula. Old formula would get a a 10/10 from me ive worn it for about 5-6 years and had no complaints. I will be returning my brand new bottle and looking for a knock off of the old formula

I'm surprised they have not come out with a potent long lasting update with sillage. If they ever do I hope they don't water it down and try to pass off another 2 hour or 6 hour eau de toilette as an elixir or extrait. They should have turned this one into a long-lasting masterpiece that it could have been. I think some elite celebrity paid them to keep the long lasting masterpiece version away from the public.

so smooth and warm. should be a staple in everyone's collection, just like LNDLH, even though they both dont last. That's kinda the magic in them - they are such pleasant scents but are fleeting, leaving u wanting more. Also, the new parfum may have better performance but it doesnt capture the same vibe for me. good thing is, the 5 oz for this is so cheap(can literally find for less than $60) so spray away

One of the greatest fragrances ever made in this world but it lacks something too important: performance really SUCKS! It becomes a intimate skin scent right after I spray. I don’t know if its the same with everyone but my skin just absorbs it and how many sprays I apply doesnt matter. But this is the most sexy, angelic, holy fragrance ever made. If you dont care about the performance just go for it!

I must be in the minority here, because I get great performance. To be fair, im a bit of a heavy sprayer. But I can get through a whole work shift, and still smell it on myself. And other people notice it as well, leaves a lovelyscent bubble without being offensive. I will forever have a bottle of this in my collection. In my opinion one of the single greatest mens fragrances ever released.

I'll keep this short and sweet. It smells amazing, women love it, it's a more refined version of the EdT, it still has the crappy performance of the EdT. I honestly think they called this fragrance "The One" because that's how many hours it lasts. I love this fragrance but I was disappointed that the EDP did not seem to solve the performance issues of the Edt....At least on my skin.

Absolutely intoxicating scent profile... nice bit of fresh spiciness on top of amber and tobacco make this a very addicting and mass appealing scent tha surprisingly works well in any setting except extreme heat. The performance complaints on this are warranted, it doesn’t last long on me nor does it really project, but the scent profile is too damn good not to rock with this one.

I just received The One EDP and I like it a lot. It is citrus and woody on me. It is perfect for Miami fall days. I sprayed it on 6 hours ago and I can still smell it on me. I guess it depends on every individual skin chemistry. I am not a big fan of Dolce & Gabbana but this one is a very good one. I don't care if it doesn't project. As long as I can smell it on me that is ok,

Absolutely delightful mix of top end freshness with a base of amber. To me it smells like a really high end body wash, and it isn't that powerful or long lasting, but I guess the aim is for it to be a little more intimate. If you want an absolute amber / tobacco monster, this probably isn't the right one for you, this is more subtle. Very glad to have this in my collection

This is the best smelling fragrance I’ve ever smelt it’s incredible. I would wear this everyday even in the summer on a warm day cause this is the greatest shit ever. BUT the longevity of it is some total bullshit, it doesn’t last for shit. If it lasted longer this would be the best cologne ever made. I would still recommend everyone get this it is beautiful. 9.3/10
