The One Mysterious Night

The One Mysterious Night by Dolce & Gabbana is the first high-end designer fragrance i ever really, really wanted. it's high-endness in the US market comes not from an unfairly high MSRP but from the dreaded region exclusivity assigned to it, along with its two twins, Royal Night and Luminous Night, all of which are well-received by most people. these three fragrances are made exclusively for sale in the middle east and europe, making getting them in the US an expensive affair, especially if you don't know where to look for better deals. (don't worry, i'll reveal where i got my bottle at the end) which sucks, because they are beautiful fragrances in beautiful bottles, with allegedly beautiful smells. (i only have this one tho) the square, colored glass bottle with thick borders and wide golden cap that matches the arabic script on the bottle is such a nice look that i daresay it's my favorite looking men's line period. my interest in this fragrance, besides the allure of having something not just anybody could get (and also the cool bottle), was twofold: i wanted a nice oud rose, and i wanted a nice sensual date night fragrance. it only makes sense to choose this then, The One is one of the most beloved date night fragrance lines in the community, and Mysterious Night is also a very highly-rated designer oud rose scent. thankfully, it satisfied both criteria effortlessly, becoming my favorite winter night fragrance with ease. Mysterious Night opens with its dominant notes, oud, amber and rose, topped with saffron and grapefruit. the touch of medicinal notes from oud and saffron and the little burst of citric freshness causes this perfume to smell, for a moment, like a very high-end baby wipe. floral fragrance, a bit sweet, a bit fresh, a bit powdery, and medicine-y. it's nice, frankly, and smells very cleanly. it only lasts for a bit however, before the real magic starts in the mid. in the mid you are confronted by a beautiful and enveloping dense fog of amber and rose. the rose in this fragrance is sublime, a touch powdery but not in the grandma camp, bright and red and not green or vegetal, it's gorgeous. the amber in here is almost infinitely sweet and warm, sniffing it causes the smell to pass your olfactory system and warm your entire body. it is the pinnacle of comforting perfumery. "but hey," you say, looking at this review weird as hell because i keep talking like i wanna marry this fragrance, "what about the oud?", and dear reader, lemme tell ya: the oud in here is, by all accounts, the most friendly, designer-y oud i've ever smelled, and that's a compliment of a high order. a tad medicinal, very warm with a little booziness, it's a star. it is the highlight of the fragrance. i don't think Mysterious Night will please the hardcore oud heads, but to anybody that has doubts about oud or has had trouble with ouds in the past, try this one. it is a movie star. it's beautiful from all angles. i don't think a single person on this planet could bring themselves to hate it unless they just hated woody notes in general. if you're completely new to oud, this is a great start. like a lot of ouds but want one that's wearable and won't terrify your next tinder date? bingo-bango, bucko, you found yourself a winner. think you hate ouds? unless you've smelled this you can't know you're right, and after you smell it you'll probably know you're wrong. into the drydown, the oud and rose persists but underneath that beautiful, sensual amber note. now joined by the leathery nuances of labdanum, this is where the sexyness becomes more overt. it just smells unambiguously hot, with rich spicy woods and warm amber and sweet tonka and softly leatherlike labdanum. it just gets it right. this will make anyone, man, woman, or otherwise, smell fantastically alluring. not saying it'll make you instantly slimmer and give you a better jawline or anything but on the olfactory front, Mysterious Night has you fully covered. i'm not a promoter of the Fragrances Get You Laid ideology but, if they do and i'm just an ugly hag who never leaves my house, this will do it with ease. Boring Review Stuff: Middle Eastern People Get All The Good Perfumes Edition • Longevity and projection is terrific, which is another point for this line because the more widely available The Ones apparently last like ten minutes. i get 9-10 hours with this and it projects strongly for at least 4 hours. • Pricing is complicated, it goes for radically different prices on different sites, usually in the 80s and 90s. i got my 100ml bottle from Fragrancebuy. it was $60 dollars and some change. it's a tester but it comes with the cap. that's the best price i've seen from a seller that ships to the states, so go that route if you don't mind having a less pretty box. this fragrance is by far worth that much imo. • night time only. winter and colder fall nights only. this fragrance would turn into a cloying nightmare in any sort of direct sunlight. climate controlled environments would be good as well, just don't go too hard on the sprays, two will do just fine. • Unisex, but like, not in the way where a guy ~could~ wear it ~maybe~. it's very middle eastern in that way, i think, that it actually just suits anyone without leaning to far in either direction. women shouldn't sleep on Mysterious Night at all if they want an alluring oud rose, because this fits the bill perfectly. The Point Of All This is that Mysterious Night from the house of Dolce and Gabbana is like a sexy, expensive, luxurious baby wipe, and is both an incredibly friendly oud rose and an incredibly sexy The One flanker. anyone with any interest in either should get this, and anybody that just wants a nice cold-weather scent with a sensual comforting warmth should as well. 9 Dolce & Gabbana Does Not Love Americans/10 - 博

Oud on its own is hard to get right. Oud rose, albeit being very repetitive, is also very hard to get right. Oud, rose, and saffron? It takes a lot of skill and a lot of luck to get this even remotely right, that's what this does to a T. Being from an area where oud is common in every shape and form, i've smelled my fair share, and can say that the oud in this scent is surprisingly in the background at the start. Don't get me wrong, this is a beastly, STRONG, punchy, and dominating fragrance. Its warm and amber heavy and sweet but by the same token has a refinement that i don't often see. The top notes are definitely a mature floral, a deep, dark, boozy sweet syrupy rose that never borders into being obnoxiously plasticky or "jammy" rose, and a strong whiff of some properly distilled, very smooth, high end negin saffron. This blends perfectly well with an herbaceous note which i'm supposing is the clary sage, and a slight hint of something oddly refreshing. Many point to this refreshing note as grapefruit, but i honestly just don't get that from it. The beginnings of this scent are its brightest, arguably sweetest and most floral points. Its when the dry down comes along that the true magic and "mysterious" qualities of this scent appear. This is when the tonka bean, labdanum, and wood notes increase in strength and beautifully compliment the earlier sweetness. Its seductive, warm, cozy, but sophisticated, refined, royal even, and plays off body chemistry beautifully for me and nearly everyone who's worn it IMO. The most frustrating thing about this scent is its ambiguity, which in all respect, give its name some credit. This scent won't be for everyone (especially if oud roses and sweet ouds aren't your thing) and i can see where some could be put off by it, however if there is something D&G nailed 100%, it's definitely the Arabian, khaleeji dna coming through this. This is the perfect scent for a date where you want to impress, a high end meeting, or a very formal setting where you truly want to turn heads and seem like you have a cool vague backstory of your adventures in some remote location. I prefer the mysterious night over its other siblings in the line, and much prefer it over the original "one" edp, however i do enjoy layering the two when i'm looking for a change in routine and find that they do compliment each other quite well. Not something for everyone, but worth a try if you want to broaden your horizons and really feel, for lack of a better term "like a rich arab" A solid from D&G, one of their best in my humble opinion!

Just please take a few moments to read. The first word that comes to mind, is exotic. This fragrance is not for every day. Buy this. Put it away. Take it out for those special occasions, events, important times in your life. This is a fragrance that you plan to wear, not to just spray a couple of blasts (that’s all you need), to go for a run, shopping or even date night. I wanna be the guy at the Manhattan Hotel roof top event that people remember as the guy that smelled soooooo damn good. And you will be that guy with this fragrance. I want to wear it all the time. Every day. But I won’t. In the thousands and thousands of fragrances out there, I’m sure that there are plenty of them that smell similar. But the truth of the matter is, is that only a few hundred fragrances actually get out to the mainstream market. Only a few hundred that you can get your hands on. This is one you must have in your collection, or at least something that you find special. Very special. I see a successful, well dressed man, probably in his 40’s and above, “donning” this exquisite scent. I can see James Bond wearing this. And who’s sexier, more confident, stronger, more sophisticated than 007, in my opinion. Was a blind buy for me. All reviews were split down the middle among users, but were more on the positive side from the more respected and popular, in my opinion, reviewers. It is inexpensive for what you are getting. $70.00 for 100ml (3.3oz). So again, my advice is to buy this, stick it on shelf, let it collect dust. But don’t forget to occasionally take it out, dust it off and give yourself a couple of sprays to remind yourself of what you have. Plus you get to enjoy smelling yourself for the rest of the day. This is an incredible and unique rose Oud saffron perfume. The open is a blast of a photorealistic saffron, the kind of saffron you'd find in a Persian household, not the sweet artificial smelling note found in BR540. The rose follows through right after, mixed with a hefty amber. The rose note is very unique to this fragrance; it's sweet and jammy but not like your typical rose you'd find in most rose/oud perfumes. The mid notes are more rosey and amber, while the saffron gradually fades away. At full dry down, you are greeted with 4 notes, but toned down: saffron, rose, amber, and Oud. This thing lasted on my skin more than a day, and the smell continued to develop and change every other hour that I would take a whiff. I am very impressed with the quality and complexity of this perfume. This is the kind of scent that most niche houses strive to accomplish. An almost perfect fragrance blend. Granted, people's opinions on different smells are very subjective. It's still a rose oud fragrance so you'd have to be into that. Regardless, it is undeniable that this fragrance is a true masterpiece. A very complex perfume that continues to impress as it develops for hours; reinventing the wheel of a style of fragrance that has been done over and over again for centuries, and yet managing to create a unique version of that style, making it its own, with tremendous longevity and incredible projection. Well done D&G! Well done!

The first 30 minutes is a bit medicinal up-close but from further away it smells just great. You get grapefruit for the first 15 minutes and the oud is that camphor-like smell you get in TF Oud Wood but a bit toned down. The rose is not citrusy and has no green facets (so as many like to say it's not a 'grandma perfume' like Toy Boy as an example there's nothing like this here even though I enjoy it). You will get saffron, amber, soft oud and soft rose and they last throughout all phases of the fragrance. It's after one hour that the fragrance shines in my opinion since the other notes start to come up. The powdery part of it starts to feel more spiced and you get more woods in the air. It also gets leathery and the sage was a bit hard for me to pick up because of this, it is really well blended into the leathery notes, it does get more masculine after this one hour but still unisex. I can only pick tonka from up-close but I believe it is again, well blended into other notes to boost the woodsy or powdery notes maybe. Decent projection for 3 hours and lasts for 10 hours no problem and as a skin scent it stays forever, this long lasting part gets even better because it's followed by main notes that while toned down stay and it won't become just a woodsy fragrance with no projection after 2 hours like many other fragrances do... I was not expecting to get this scent for what I paid feels a bit niche, 9.5/10.

This is all the things westerners love about Middle Eastern Oud. I feel like an Arab prince or wealthy arab would wear this on a “laidback” day, in a polo, cap and jeans. But it still packs a punch. You’ll get very light wafts of smokiness and oud as base notes, sometimes stronger (but pleasant) to people that pass you. But it lasts. The Opening smells a lot like Musk and the classic manly fragrances, just for a few minutes though. Top notes give off a powdery and spicy, very classic & rich feel. Tiny bit of antiseptic medicinal smell like a pharmacy, but it is comforting and reassuring. A good way to describe the top notes is a sophisticated adult version of the baby powder/baby lotion smell. I guess that’s because of the rose DNA. The ingredients clean up the oud to stray away from being too animalic, to make more of a gourmand - sweet juicy type of animalic (like honey but not the actual smell of honey). After the show is over, you again get classic gourmand warm, spicy, juicy oud on your skin. I was told it smells like the Dubai airport and Dubai mall scent...very expensive and tolerable for everyone. Great value for money, and easy to wear if you like to dress up and make an entrance. Could easily be worn by a confident and established woman also.

Only on very rare occasions do I try a new fragrance and find that I am so blown away, that I order another back-up bottle for fear of running low too quickly. This really is awesome. I appreciate that this is an exclusive version of "The One" for the middle eastern market in particular. It does remind me of the intoxicating mix of resinous woods and rose that is so prevalent in fragrances bespoke to the middle eastern region. I honestly cannot get enough of it. I realise that this is a toned down "oud" (if in fact there is any oud in this at all), and that, in combination with rose and saffron is developed into a slightly less loud fragrance to appeal to the European/North American market. For me, the balance is perfect. The fragrance is strong, but not overwhelming. It leaves an intoxicating trail and the projection is good. For me, this is a bit of a game changer - I have been a consistent user of Floriental (another masterpiece) and TF Oud Wood, but right now, this is the fragrance that I will be wearing in the cool spring evenings. Amazing, amazing, amazing. 150ml bottle is the way to go. Classy scent. Classy bottle. Dolce & Gabbanna. What more can I say! A niche product at a designer price.

At first sniff, you will detect *The One* DNA but more importanly, the Middle Eastern Vibe. It punch you so, so, SO strong(for me it was in a good way) that immediatly you will wondering how and when I can wear it !! Seriously. It is definitely not, or for my perspective , a signature fragance as it is not as versatile as you would think/wish, it is only for special occasions. Unless you want to feel like the typical rich cheikh, sultan who overspray while ignoring the noses around him.(You got it,even with 5 sprays I start to worry myself about what people will say lol). It project FAST,WELL,VERY WELL....for a long period of time in my opinion. The DNA here is on steroid, but some notes are well rounded such as Roses,OUD( synthetic surely but so well produced) and Saffron. Applying during the evening it will stay on your skin for a good 5-8 hours and will still project with a magnificent, and soothing sillage but less agressive. For me,this is the best flanker from the collection,no doubt. A great compliment pleaser as well. Not generic,but keep in mind that this is robust, this is PURE ARABIAN PRINCE vibes feeling !!!! *********A MUST HAVE IN ANY COLLECTION !!!********

This one is in my top 5 for a reason. It's a powerful, absolutely beautiful scent. Reminds me of scents from my childhood. This will appeal more to people who understand these types of scents, and most likely grew up with them. I wouldn't call this blind buy safe, but definitely something interesting. The rose is definitely up front here, a more classic Middle Eastern type of rose. I pick up the saffron blended into the background. The oud seems to come in more on the far dry down. On my skin, I wouldn't necessarily call this a beast mode scent but it certainly makes itself known. Longevity is great. 12+ hours for me. I wear this for more formal occasions, when I want stand out from the rest. Would probably keep this for cooler weather, cause it is a very thick, heavy scent. One of the few in my collection where I got the biggest bottle I could. If you like rose fragrances and wish to smell like an oil sheikh, this is for you. Edit: Wore this yesterday, and it's become more potent over time. With heavy spraying, I managed to clock nearly 24 hours, and still getting whiffs of it.

Well, to begin with, I'm a meddle-eastern guy, who grew up on natural, heavy, woody, smoky oud oils (my family and I don't like the animalic oud). This fragrance is just amazing ROSE and oud lying on the DNA of D&G The One (amber, cinnamon, tobacco, leather mainly). To me, it opens with juicy grapefruit that is not so bitter or sour, then with the help of fresh ginger and saffron it moves to syrupy rose which has just the right amount of sweetness (not cloying) and a light oud getting in very gently (not harshly woody nor smoky) . The overall experience is full-bodied rose without greenish facets sometimes found in rose fragrances, amber going gourmand but never reach it. It can be used with caution as a night outdoor scent all year around (thanks to grapefruit note), but its beauty shines in the cooler nights or as an indoor use. It's fairly unisex, although the dry down leans masculine. Performance is excellent, but could be better. This might get 10/10 if used with right amount in the right occasion.

Mostly i find designer brand fragrances to be a bit ho hum,,, ok but nothing interesting,, I know that sounds snobby but it is truthfully how i feel. It is not until I smelt some niche brands that things really opened up for me. Anyway, this is not one of those times. I don't care if this is designer or not, if it smells great, it smells great. This has the unmistakable rose/oud combo but in a friendly way, nothing scary or skanky about it along with what I assume is D&G The One DNA (never smelt the one). This smells like a very expensive fragrance, very classy, good longevity and wonderful sillage, certainly one for the night out. This also cost me less then half the price of a good niche fragrance, fantastic value. If you want something different for going out take the plunge whilst you can still get it, its a wonderful fragrance, if only all designers launched stuff like this,, unfortunately they don't nowadays. Im going to try the other 2 in this "limited edition series".

i finally bought this, having been on the fence since it first came out. The name and not least the cool dark red colour intrigued me, but we all know by now that it's what's inside that counts. Luckily i can now say i disagree with all the nay sayers below. having owned a fair amount of amber-based scents, and often finding the scent too feminine, this juice is made just right though. i really enjoy myself wearing this and it lasts too. you can tell this is quality juice. if you can sample before buying that would probably be my best advice, as you can see from the reviews below, this is not for everyone. i was lucky, having blind bought it for almost 100 usd... EDIT: Had to come back just to add that walking around the house today, in these lockdown-times, I caught myself thinking; "What's that great smell?" until I remembered I had two sprays of this beauty this morning. Isn't that what a great perfume is supposed to do? Make you feel great?

Quite liking this one. The opening is a truck load of Saffron, love it or hate it. When it starts settling down it turns more and more powdery. The dry down is were you find more of the Rose and Oud. A rose that starts turning more and more sweet but never losing that powdery strength. A Cristal clear ambergris (No amber as listed), that I suspect is the same used in Light Blue Intense shines more and more with the passing of the hours, it gets salty and a bit animalic, very masculin. It's long lasting, not crazy projecting after 2 or 3 hours but if you sweat or someone comes closer it's noticeable. For the price is a no brainer for any collection. But beware, the saffron note in this one is a love or hate. And I don't find the Rose and Oud particularly strong in this one, or at least not sweet strong but powdery strong. Finally, does it resembles The One EDT or EDP. Vaguely, the One is sweeter and darker.

Brilliant fragrance, no concerns. Just dropped in to say that I find it very peculiar that people see oud/amber and automatically jump to the assumption that it's a winter fragrance. If you're from a region where oud is a staple (eg. Middle East or some other parts of Asia), you'll know that oud has immense versatility and is worn year round. As for this fragrance, not sure how this is unanimously noted as a fall/winter fragrance. I'd say for an oud fragrance, this actually tilts towards slightly warmer weather. Personally, I'd wear this spring (nights), summer (nights) or autumn (anytime), with my ideal time being summer/spring night times. All in all, for people reading these reviews and making consumer decisions, this beautiful citrusy-rose oud/amber fragrance is far airier and more versatile than other reviewers are giving it credit for. Don't believe me, travel to Oman, Saudi, Abu Dhabi or Dubai.

Nice rose oud with a good longevity and average projection. The oud here is very designer style, cleaned up and almost certainly synthetic. TOMN is quite good, if one of many, many rose/oud/saffron scents marketed to the Gulf market under a Western designer brand. There are other good products of This type in the Middle Easern market releases from Valentino as well as the better brands from that region like Rassassi. Gucci also has a couple of nice ouds (Gucci Guilty Oud and Gucci Intense Oud, although these two are getting harder to find and going up in price). This fragrance is over-hyped, probably because it is a quality product and a bit hard to get in the USA. If you can get it at a good price and like this type of oud, go for it. But don't feel like you need to pay a premium or that there are no substitutes.

I received this today, so it probably needs to settle a bit, however I’ll review and then revise if needed. This is definitely not the same ‘ol rose/oud/saffron combo we’ve probably all tried. Initially I get a lot of grapefruit (30 mins worth) and only hints of rose, before it becomes this woodsy, rich leathery divinity. 2 hours in and the rose is more prominent, but not over the top. It smells familiar, but not enough to add a specific fragrance just yet. It leans masculine on my skin (I’m female, but frequently wear mens marketed fragrances), longevity is fantastic (8 hours), and it would absolutely be complimented (especially on a gent)...10/30/22: colder weather- less grapefruit, more amber, woodsy initial. Then the rose/oud combo, but well blended, warm and caramel-ish. I really like this one a lot

At first I didn't like this scent but I must say it really did grow on me. On the testing strip I thought it was ok, but after wearing it out on my skin I got serious Casanova vibes with the spicy rose and saffron. The scent is very unique and elegant just like all the other flankers of The One Exclusive edition. Although Mysterious Night is my least favorite flanker from the exclusive edition collection, I still love it. I would say that this scent is the most seductive of the exclusive edition flankers. Performance is beastly with strong projection and lasts 8+ hours on skin. Great for fall, winter and cool summer nights. This is defiantly more of a night time fragrance for sure. Overall a great fragrance, this stuff defiantly turns heads and should be worn with confidence.

Scent: 10/10 Longevity: 7/10 Sillage: 6/10 Bottle: 10/10 Batch: 8141CM I know Saffron Oud Rose is overplayed, but as someone who never smelt that combo I am very impressed with this. The Rose is pretty dominate but definitely not feminine. The other notes play well and make it smell more masculine. Projection is nice for the first hour then sits close to the skin. Like others in this line it is a very imamate fragrance and great for date nights or Netflix and chill. Still testing longevity but I may have gone nose blind. It's been about 3 hours and I can still smell it, but I have to put my nose to my arm. The Rose calms down after the dry down and the other notes come out. It's a vary warm and sensual scent. It's a top 10 for me I absolutely will buy this again

Just wanted to share one of the most beautiful triple layering combo I've ever smelled. Just working with similar notes. It was a bottom layer of L’Eau d’Issey Pour Homme Or Encens, mid layer of The One Mysterious Nights, and a top layer of Dior Homme Parfum. All have rose and two of them have either labdanum, leather, sandalwood, oud, cedar and amber. Those notes amped up with their differences makes this one of the most amazing scents everyone should try if they have it. It's a powerhouse with monster projection and will last you throughout the day with just one spray of each. You will appreciate all three scents working together with none overpowering the other because they're all strong. Blended together, it's out of this world.

Living in Europe I was able to finally get my hands on mysterious nights 150ml and Royal Night 150ml. Went big due to exclusive editions dissappear after 3-5yrs of release. This is deffinately the darker,stronger of the two. Big blast of oud note at the start I picked up along with the tonka to sweeten slightly to avoid that dirty bitter scent you can get.This well crafted from my humble amateur opinion. Big projection that will settle to arms length after an hour but sit at arms length for a long time. Like Royal nights this will go 12 hours to skin scent longevity and still be about in the morning. 10/10 for me. The whole “The One” flanker ranger including the EDP last and perform mush better than the OG edt

I know fragrances last differently on everyone, but I’m flabbergasted at the number of people who for whom this is weak. This in a literal beast for me all day - and into the next on clothing - and I get compliments every time I wear it. The oud is very notable and right on that edge of animalic to my nose. I find it much stronger than the oud in, say Varvatos Oud, or Polo Oud (especially the Polo Oud, which I find barely oud-y) and even Oud Wood. The rose and saffron are light and beautiful compliments. I’m so glad I managed to find a bottle of this but I’ll have to hoard it since I guess I’ll never find it again - unless some of you all decide to pop your bottles up on eBay...? Anyone?

finally got my hands on to this gorgeous bottle.the presentation itself could be a showpiece, heavy heavy bottle...for the smell you get a mild fragrance that has good longevity, its winter and unisex baby. the rose,saffron, oud and spices are mild and done for high class occasion.night time would be the best time when its cold and breezy, i like it, but need to wear it more to love it i guess lol.its a nice safe rose oud saffron combo with the one ambery dna...its for collectors...the one royal night and the one edp are the best still imo. but this is a great frag if you are fan of this line 8/10 initial impression :) try before you buy

If the Dolce&Gabbana brand were a perfume, it would be just that. Extremely Elegant, erotic, sweet, opulent, just like an Alta Sartoria bordeaux silk dress. It's my first oriental and it took me a week to understand and appreciate it, now I can't do without it. It starts very strongly with saffron, then after half an hour it calms down and grows a sensual rose with an incensed oud accord that elevates everything giving mystery and spiritualism. Over time everything becomes sweeter and more powdery like a starry firmament. Excellent performance, very intense perfume and for the things said so far it's for special mood.

To me this smells like Zero Plus Masculine by Diesel. That early 2000’s scent every fuckboy with no money rocked. This is much much better quality, smoother... but honestly this is SO close to the OG Zero Plus Masculine it’s scary. I know you can still get ZPM for around £15.00 but last time I smelt it it had been reformulated. Still if you are looking for a clone of ZPM... maybe try one of the higher rated clones out there meant to be this one. 9/10. Multisex. Age 18+. A great Ibiza holiday/clubbing scent. Excellent performance. PS I’m wary of oud and rose combos but love this formulation.

Absolutely love this smell, this is something you must be chosen for I’ve seen the reviews of the situations to wear it are not often while I feel depends on what you do in your life, Rooftop bar✅, Mimosas at a restaurant✅, Upscale lounge✅. Now if you can find a way or old enough to do these type of events once a month this is a great deal for the amount of quality compared to any Rojas I choose this which is how much I enjoy it for the price point solid 9/10. For those who don’t often find this useful at least once a month not a great investment but a great fragrance

This is so nice! Great for these late Winter/early Spring nights! It lasts forever on me...still a strong skin scent on my arm the next morning. It's very comforting, projects very well, and it's very well blended. Strangely, it reminds me of one of my favorite designer fragrances, Dior Homme Parfum...I detect that same smooth, slight lipsticky, iris feel, but it's not listed as a note or accord. The saffron maybe? I definitely get this though, after a few wears now. The rose and oud are really nice and not overpowering. Very glad to have this in my collection.

Wow. These special editions except baroque are great dark long lasting faintly sweet, sensual warm fragrances for men.Might be aimed for nights out for men in there 30’s upwards but a younger guy who knows who he is and what he likes would have the confidence to pull this off. I love the darker winter fragrences as I’m sick of the generic blue or sickly sweet frags. Bought mysterious nights and Royal nights in the 150ml size together in the U.K. for only £60 each new.Bargains to be found during lockdown still

I know this scent is called Mysterious Night but I wear it during the day as well. For those cold Canadian winter days this scent really makes you feel cozy. The Rose, Oud, and Amber are blended amazingly. This scent lasts easily 6-8 hours and projects the whole day for me. As my body heat warms up, this scent sneaks up and I get whiffs of it all day. Highly recommended if you enjoy Oud, Rose, and something unique. I own M7 Oud Absolu by YSL and I would say that this is daytime oud and M7 is nighttime.

It's laughable that people buy Arabic exclusives and proceed to judge their smell and performance in cold climates, and even recommend it for winter time. In cold it smells dull and bitter. In summer though it's a thick, resinous, ambery rose fragrance. It makes me think of a letter written on a parchment with red ink. Very classy, very oriental. 🌹🌄🕌 Not for faint hearted people who would use ambery fragrances only in winter. It's a fragrance for a hot swarthy prince basking in the sunlight.

I tested it yesterday Thursday February 9th at 1PM on my hand, now it's 4PM of Friday February 10th and I can catch a little bit of smell when I sniff. This is a beastly longevity, despite washing my hand several times I can still smell it after 27 hours. The scent itself is stunning, especially the opening which I find the best part to my taste. The drydown is great too but not as orgasmic as the opening.

This one is definitely a One Spray Charlie for me. It is strong. The opening is luxurious and amazing but I go anosmic to it pretty quickly. But Mysterious Night shines in the dry down that lasts a very long time and I get little whiffs of it throughout the day. Worth it if you can find it for a good price. This definitely feel like a special occasion scent rather than an everyday wear.

This one mix with rose, oud, grapefruit and amber, smell well balance with those notes, its near niche quality, the rose and oud smell perform really beautiful, I think its a unisex scent, women also can wear this fragrance, of course its a mature one, its smell luxurious, I really love this one, hope I can find a backup bottle online later. scent 8.5/10 longevity 8/10 projection 8.5/10

This is sooooo good, easily my favorite oud and rose scent, it smells like beautiful saffron and rose water with good quality oud, fantastic for nights and dates, i wore this while asking for my wifes hand in marriage with her father. Itll probably be my wedding night scent aswell. Very easy to wear designer oud, no animalic scent here

The Rose and Oud *sing* in this fragrance. Definitely on the elegant side of masculine, so if you are looking for an “overtly masculine” scent, this wouldn’t be the one for you. Be very easy on the trigger with this one. It is LOUD. I’m not an oversprayer and three sprays was too much. Two sprays max will do the trick.

I accidently sprayed this perfume thinking it was for women. little did i know i would stumble upon my current favorite perfume. it smells so princessy like idk >.< also im ngl u gotta have a certain aura and vibe for the perfume to smell good on u. as u're supposed to wear it and not the opposite...lol

This guy is the middle east in a bottle. A great smell and a great flanker in the one line. Smells like you are walking through a historic market in a middle eastern country. Performance is great with it lasting the whole day. Hard to find situations to wear this one but nevertheless a great smell.

Strong Oud bad boy in the top! Until it dries down and the Rose emerges in the mid. Imagine a soft rose growing straight from the agarwood itself. And finally just a soft rose in the dry down. A nice fragrance. Very middle eastern influenced. Lasts long. If you’re a fan of Oud, you will love this.

An amazing rose/oud/saffron designer with borderline niche quality and performance to boot. Great for those cooler nights and occasions. Don't need more than a couple sprays and will last 6-8 hrs easy. Good value for money. Bottle is very nice looking which also doesn't hurt!

I’m getting huge spice from this and not sure what else is in there... I guess there is a little rose and oud in the background, but hard to smell anything else. What makes it so spicy? Also I’m getting little to no projection as well as it seems to disappear rather quickly

After wearing several times, I’m absolutely addicted to this fragrance. It took me a few wearings to acclimate to a rose prevalent fragrance because it’s my first. The dry down is remarkable and has a serious WOW factor. OMG this is awesome. Nice work D&G!

i love this smell its so in depth with its combination of rose and saffron it has a big projection i just got it today and showed it to one of my coworkers and he was in love with it and wanted to buy this masterpiece 100% worth the money i promise u that.

I have a pale white skin, and live in Central Europe. but Wallahi, if i spray this on it gives me a feeling i could blend in on the streets of Marrakech. 10/10 everything you can expect from a Rose-Oud non niche fragrance.

Honestly by far my favorite flanker for the one line and i personally like it better than the original the one edp. it smells amazing and reminds me of my homeland so thats automatically a win for me.

This is some magical juice. Lots of rose and saffron, with a soft oud in the background. It can smell a little too feminine for the first 15 min, but once time elapses, this fragrance will shine.

It's must trying, blend rose-oud deserve for a designer brand, project and longevity incredibly as well, worth every dollar. Better than some niche have this blend, to me. Good The One flanker.

Just bought this Scent and its a Beast, this is intense on my skin, it's a little bit strong for the summer, but it stays on the skin FOREVER.

12 hs garantizadas de rosa e incienso. Ojo, no es una rosa femenina, más bien es oscura, medicinal. Un perfume lineal pero muy rico.

Feels and smells like a dream out of Arabian Nights. Easily 10/10 My favorite one in the flanker line and my best blind buy.
