Cashmere & Palo Santo

Beautiful, Sweet, woody, warm, powdery, musky, fruity, feminine, sensual, seductive, elegant, chic, classy, sophisticated, rich, smooth, addictive, alluring, inviting, super cozy, comforting On me this is sweet, warm, and woody with sweet dried peach, sensual vanilla, and rich and woody cashmere wood and Palo santo. As it dries down the peach fades somewhat, and you’re wrapped in a warm and luxurious blanket of powdery vanilla and rich, smooth, and woody Palo santo really begin to shine. This doesn’t develop too much, but it’s still very beautiful. This is such a lovely fragrance! The peach note comes off as sweet and dried instead of fresh, bright, and juicy, but it’s very fitting with the rich woody scent. This is soft and sweet, but also rich, smooth, and warm, and with a certain depth from the woodiness. I am somewhat reminded of Kayali The Wedding Silk Santal, although I do prefer that one to Cashmere & Palo Santo. I’m a huge fan of Kayali fragrances, and that’s one of my personal favorites. It’s a somewhat sweeter and lighter version of this, at least to my nose. I also think it’s similar to BBW Vanilla Romance, and I love to pair it with the Vanilla Romance body wash and lotion. It does have a similar cozy and woody vibe as By The Fireplace. It’s just so delightfully cozy! Even with the woody scent of this, it still comes off as feminine, and it would suit women of any age. This is especially lovely during the colder months of fall and winter, but I actually think it works well throughout the whole year. It’s not too deep, rich, or sweet enough to become overwhelming, or cloying in the heat. Although, it might work better as a nighttime fragrance during the summer. I also think this is suitable for all occasions, from casual, to work and/or school, and for date nights and fancier occasions. I get excellent performance with Cashmere & Palo Santo. The longevity is great, it lasts throughout the entire day on me. The projection is very nice, it radiates out a few feet from me. Let me preface by saying the hype is well deserved! Like this is so amazing for being designer. Not only is the bottle serving luxury but the juice within is damn good!! However I will say upon first sniff I noticed a major similarity at least to me and on my skin. The sugar beach aspect in this reminds me a lot of BonBon Pop from THOO because I own that and love it down but in that fragrance I get a ton of fresh peach and a bunch of brown sugar which is delicious it’s perfection and in the beginning sprays I got almost the same type of smell in my scent bubble wafting from my skin but as it’s had time to sit there are more noticeable differences now. I still think it’s in the same close family as BonBon Pop but now that the cashmere and palo santo have become more prominent I’m getting more than just that sugared peach vibe don’t get me wrong the sugary peach is still prominent but there’s a lot of palo santo especially mixed in then there’s some cashmere flirting around in the base that really make the fragrance overall a less sweet experience than BonBon Pop which I like because it makes it more wearable for all year round or wearing it to work. It’s a solid every day and even signature scent because it’s that good. I love peach in fragrances especially when there’s a sugary aspect and a woody base. Most of my sweet fragrances need a woody base to simmer them down some and that’s what I personally enjoy. At first I almost felt it was redundant to own both but I’m glad I didn’t get rid of the DK because now I get more of those differences and for me I do need both because they fit different vibes and occasions.

I know this one is pretty expensive, and it’s actually the most expensive perfume in my whole collection right now, but honestly... I don’t regret buying it at all! I knew absolutely nothing about it. I just saw it once in a shop, and the “palo santo” on the bottle immediately grabbed my attention. I expected it to be way more unisex and woody - definitely not my type - so I was ready to hate it lol. But somehow... I ended up loving it? Weirdly enough, the woody notes are not as loud in this as you would expect. It is pretty sweet yet mature, fruity and vanillic. I guess the palo santo adds that mature and cozy feel to it, and I adore that. I know it’s not some groundbreaking scent that’s never been done before, but I still really like it. And honestly, i still think that its somewhat more unique than most hyped up perfume nowadays. It has depth. It’s not super simple or flat. It has that cozy, slightly mysterious vibe while still being feminine. I haven’t actually worn it properly yet since I only bought it today, but I’ve sprayed it on my hand in the shop so many times, and it has always lasted forever on me. That’s one of the reasons I finally decided to spend the money - the quality genuinely seems worth it. And on top of that, the bottle is gorgeous! Plus it has a magnetic cap, which I’m obsessed with.

Woody, sweet, warm, creamy, cozy, and comforting. I mainly pick up on the cashmere wood, Palo Santo, and vanilla. I do catch occasional, sweet, and fruity whiffs of the peach note, but to me it’s subtle. Overall, I do think this is a pretty fragrance. I think this fragrance is best suited for cooler/cold weather as I think it could be a little bit too heavy in the heat. I think I’m probably going to prefer it the most during the fall and winter, but I think it works for spring too. I saw that Kayali The Wedding Silk Santal is listed in the “reminds me” section. That happens to be one of my favorite fragrances! I can see a bit of a similarity to it, but not that much. This is deeper, much more woody, less sweet, and less fruity. I find The Wedding Silk Santal to be a beautiful, elegant, sweet, fruity, and woody. I personally think it’s more wearable and works well for pretty much every occasion and every season. I get really great performance with Cashmere & Palo Santo. The longevity is wonderful, it lasts the entire day on me and I can still smell it the next morning. The projection is really good too, it radiates out several feet from me. I only need a few sprays to get these effects, so I think that makes it an even better value.

Very beautiful, Woody, sweet, creamy, warm, sensual, silky smooth, elegant, cozy, comforting, inviting, addictive, and even unique This is absolutely gorgeous! It opens with a beautiful, warm, sweet, softly woody, vanilla, sun dried peach scent. As it dries down it becomes a more golden amber-y vanilla woody scent. The cashmere wood, Labdanum, and Palo Santo become more prominent giving a more warm, creamy, softly sweet, cozy, and feminine woody scent. The vanilla and amber intertwine throughout the entire wear of the fragrance which is part of what makes it so very beautiful. There is nothing sharp or harsh here, just a velvety and sensual smoothness that’s inviting, addictive, and cozy. This is such an easy fragrance to wear. I think it’s suitable for just about any age, season, and even the majority of occasions. I don’t own many Donna Karen fragrances, but this one is easily my favorite! I get excellent performance with Cashmere & Palo Santo. The longevity is really great, it lasts the entire day and I can still smell it on me the next morning. The projection is really good too, it radiates out at least a few feet from me. I only need about 3 spritzes to get this effect, so I do consider this to be a good value.

I can’t stop catching little traces of this fragrance throughout the day 👃 It’s simply mesmerizing! I highly recommend experiencing it in warm weather, it becomes incredibly soft, smooth, and beautiful. 👌🏻

A fragrance has never done this to me before. HOW I FELL IN LOVE: Love at first sniff in the frag department, slapped me in the face as soon as I brought the cap to my nose. Did something to my brain. BUT I wanted to sure, so I stayed strong.I sprayed my self down with it aggressively lol and kept walking around the mall. Every time I checked out at the cashier I got a compliment. Some indirect ( I was six feet away and they were like " What is that smell? It's so sweet and nice") BUT I didn't buy it that day and I took the blotter home with me just to be sure, couldn't get it out of my head. Kept going back to the blotter for days, sniffing it for joy. After two weeks of this (was still on the blotter) finally purchased a full bottle retail price. No regrets. THE SCENT: Is this ambrosia of the gods??? Syrupy juicy sweetness and ambery but not cloying or juvenile, it is enlivening. There is faint woodiness that is so soothing, grounding the ecstatic peachiness. The peachiness does seem to stay through the duration of wear.

This is beautiful! Picture the cool weather setting in, putting on a white, soft knitted sweater and a slightly fruity vanilla candle in front of you. Super elegant and beautiful! I find it similar to Casablanca by Swiss Arabian, but this one is a bit more woody and a tad less sweet, whereas I find Casablanca is a bit deeper, intense and more complex from the patchouli and balsamic notes. I see why people find it close to Kayali Silk Santal, but that one is a bit lighter and again, less woody, imo. I do not get the comparisons to Althaïr by PDM, as that one is more unisex and has a lot of warm spices that you don't get in Cashmere and Palo Santo, just the warmth of vanilla and woods. It is also a bit fruity, probably from the peach, but I don't think it is particularly peach forward. Vanilla Woods from 7 Virtues is also very close - but I find this one to be a bit better blended, more rounded and cozy. A very easy to reach for kind of scent!

Cashmere and Palo Santal The loveliest Peach up top — not syrupy fruit cocktail. More like the warm skin of a ripe peach in golden light. It’s there to soften the entry, to make the woods feel approachable. Velvety Cashmere wood + labdanum — this is the plush core. Divine. Cashmere wood gives that creamy, slightly musky, almost fabric-like warmth. Labdanum adds resinous depth — a touch of ambered shadow, slightly balsamic, faintly leathery. Vanilla + palo santo — this is where it becomes seriously addictive. Not bakery vanilla. Think sheer, airy vanilla smoke curling through sacred wood. Palo santo brings that milky, spiritual, lightly citrus-woody incense character. Smooth. Dry. Calm. A little mystical. It’s sensual in a refined way — not nightclub, not gourmand bomb, not overtly smoky church incense. It’s intimate luxury.

I went to Nordstroms to smell things as one does, and wanted to sniff this one. First impression was that it reminded me a lot of eos vanilla cashmere body lotion and I thought, awww, not for me. I got a small sample to take with me and on the drive home I couldn't stop sniffing my hand. Then, a while later this interesting minty smell was rising up to my nose which was altogether different from the slightly sweet, caramel, vanilla woody smell that I experienced at the beginning. The mid to dry-down smells really good and I smell the literal experience of burying my nose in fur, whether it be a clean cat or a clean fur coat, it's a true tactile experience in the nose for me. I have never had this smell sensation before. It is sweet, which is the only thing I am not sure of but I am close to wanting a bottle of this one.

I'm not usually fond of "woody" fragrances, but the palo santo and cashmere wood mingle with effervescent musk and vanilla to create an enchanting scent bubble that evokes magical pixie dust and woodland nymph fairies. ✨ Long lasting with excellent silage, Cashmere & Palo Santo feels much more expensive than it is. And while I adore Donna Karan's iconic Cashmere Mist, I love Palo Santo even more! Perfect for snuggling by the fireplace in a luxurious cashmere sweater and enjoying a cozy cup of tea. This one is a compliment-getter... One of the best releases of 2024!

This perfume is the bomb. First, it’s a strong one. Second, this is what By the Fireplace should’ve been. This perfume smells expensive. It smells like an older, sexy sophisticated woman that wears a lot of Carolina Herrera. It’s smooth, chocolatey, smokey, yet extremely refined. It smells like a sexy, campfire. However, it has more depth to it. It smells very mysterious and dark to me and that’s why I love it. It’s very mysterious in a sensual, refined, and elevated way. If you can’t handle By the Fire Place or Angel or BR540 (I can’t lol) then this fragrance will be perfect for you. Smokey, sweet, and complex enough without leaning into masculine-scented territory.

Smells amazing but unfortunately smells too similar to Kayali Wedding Silk Santal which I also just restocked. You could honestly wear both interchangeably without anyone knowing the difference. Luckily, both fragrances could be a great signature scent for me (at least in the cooler/colder months) so I don’t mind having both. Can’t wear either to work since I work closely with patients in a hospital, but I can indulge myself in this scent everywhere else since it’s very pleasant. I will try out the others in the line as well. I feel like DK stepped up their game and I’m finally at an age (dirty-30) where I can wear their more mature fragrances. I love that for me ❤️

as a man, this fragrance is my signature scent. to me, the peach doesnt feel too sweet or overpowering. it almost feels like a fresh but not peeled peach. as the scent grows this woody accord hits and thats when i feel like the fragrance becomes completely unisex. im obsessed and if im not mistaken its being discontinued so i will do my best to buy some as stock definitely a must try scent for me! some of my friend told me its a bit *dusty but i think that feeling adds to the aura of the scent, makes it a warm fragrance in my experience. (some people think this is a basic vanilla and i cannot argue against that but it is DONE TO perfection in my opinion.)

Donna Karan Cahmere & Palo Santo My God. This is beautiful. Yes, it reminds me a little of Mod Vanilla by Ariana Grande, which I adore and feel is a bit underrated due to it being a celeb scent... but this is the queen mother of that sugar plum vanilla scent profile with a heavy dose of smoky, elevated, and smooth Palo Santo. The artist, Jerome Epinette, is one of my favorite perfumers, and is also the perfumer behind Mod Vanilla. He literally took a signature essence and added a whole new creative vibe to it, elevating it to a niche profile with luxe elements and feel. My, does that give me joy! I’m thrilled to have both works of art in my collection🥰

I picked up the bottle today after testing it yesterday at Nordstrom (I could not stop thinking about the fragrance,). I have fallen in love! It’s been 6+ hours on my skin and still going strong. The performance is amazing. This is a sultry, sexy, ambery vanilla. This is blended superbly. It’s smooth and spicy but not sharp or overpowering. The peach note adds a lovely sweetness which compliments the warm spicy palo santo. Wear this when you want to feel confident and sexy! Also, the bottle is absolutely gorgeous! Heavy and substantial. And I love the magnetic cap! In my opinion, a real bang for your buck!

This is silky smoooth. The Palo santo is like a warm sand dune, soft like cashmere. A slight maple vanilla sweetness, with a touch of incense reminicent of a toasted marsmallow over woodfire. Sundried peach, light fruityness. It is warm and airy with depth. Perfectly balanced, nothing is sharp, heavy, or too sweet. The labdanum is not overpowering. It is just gorgeous, warm and sweet. While one spray fills the room, it settles an hour later to a very wearable and feminine woody vanilla. I think this is a better blend than Althaïr, Silk santal, Mod and Vanille Antique for me personally. In love❤️

Oh my god?! This was definitely a love at first sniff for me. I’ve been wanting this fragrance since last fall/winter but never got my hands on it. Anyways, I just tried it on me for the first time and I am NOT disappointed! This was everything I wanted MFK Gentle Fluidity Gold to be; a spicy, sexy, mature yet cozy vanilla. It gives off sitting in front of a fireplaces, wearing an expensive cashmere sweater, ready to have a fancy dinner. It’s luxurious and incredibly cozy at the same time. Definitely both everyday- and special occasion-friendly! I’ll update about the longevity.

I get zero peach from this, didn’t even know it was a not. Just a lovely blend of cashmere, palo santo and a hint of vanilla but I love that it’s not very sweet. This was a blind buy because I was curious about the cashmere and palo santo combo and it instantly became a love for me. It’s comforting, cozy, a beautiful cold weather fragrance. Truly unisex imo. There’s something about it that makes me introspective and reflect on things, I’m not sure what it is, but that’s what I love about perfume - it’s not just about lovely scents, it’s also about the emotions they evoke.
