DKNY Be Delicious City Brooklyn Girl

I like freesia and jasmine and love amber, so this perfume is up my alley. It's the last day of summer and very warm, and this perfume shines in the heat! The blueberry is fleeting, but lends sweetness, fruity but not gourmand. The freesia dominates in the first hour then the jasmine joins in, creating a wonderful floral duet. The amber comes in at the 3 hour mark and lends warmth. I still get whiffs of this even after 4 hours. This is sooo good!

Didn't have much expectations from this perfume, as I bought it quite cheap and intended to use it as a "work from home" perfume (as is not wanting to waste my good and expensive perfumes when staying indoors). It is a nice perfume, floral and clean, but not extremely original. It reminds me a bit of Nina Ricci perfumes.

If you like perfumes like Daisy and her flankers, chances are you will like this too. Personally I don't like it, at all. Came for jasmine, the amber and the animalic claim. Nope. None of that. You get a vague floral scent, very ozonic, amber appropriate for 5 year olds and the toilet water note in a high concentration. For some reason it reminded me a bit from J'adore, the ultra-generic fruity floral that basically spurred the creation of all these sunny-linear-0% mystery women fragrances. What is a woman without some mystery? I'm outta here...if you like an ozonic floral, give this a shot. It seems at least to have a rather good balance, despite smelling synthetical from top to bottom

I can't smell any blueberry or amber in this one. There's freesia and it also seems to me, there's lily of the valley, but it's not listed in the notes. Not a very special scent, quite basic and fresh. A very simple everyday scent, nothing fancy at all. In my opinion, it's a little better than Daisy's flankers, but not good enough to make a big deal about it.

I hated perfumes because they always smelt heavy and extremely dense, until I tried some and it changed my opinion about them, I didn't use perfumes. This is one I hate. This was a gift and right out the box it smelt good, sweet and could feel amber, jasmine and a speck of blueberries. Almost a year has passed and that was the only occasion I felt blueberries or a slight sweetness, now is just a strong, spicy jasmine and freesia that feels like a punch in my nose (with like two hours I can't smell nothing more than the residue of the sweet amber). Cheap and for everyday, but not for me.

I got to try all three of this year's limited editions Chelsea girl, Nolita girl and last but not least, this little apple gem. Love all of these limited editions and love how the concept is refreshed every year and we get a couple to choose from and collect. This was the one that got my sister's approval of the three and I must agree with her. It has a unisex character and the blueberry note was never obvious to me when I tried it on card. Delicious! But not as delicious as DKNY Be Delicious Delights: Cool Swirl. Please house of DKNY, bring back something like Sweet Delicious: Creamy Meringue.

I went through half a bottle and left it for a long time. Now I’ve come back to it I smell wet blueberries like when they’ve been sitting at the bottom of the punnet too long and start to liquify as well as amber and roots & stem? Very garden like and musky where as before I thought of it as “clean” this is #42 out of 114 perfumes I’m trying to use before I buy anymore . I’ll send this one as always to my cousin to see if she can get it to work for her

I love this perfume, it wears well in winter or spring, however lasts longer in spring. It's not overwhelming and every now and then you get a whiff of it It's a beautifully casual perfume.

A big dislike. I was hoping for a berry foral. Nothing in this smells like that. This is a wet garden smell...
