DKNY Be Delicious City Nolita Girl

I love the fruity quality of DKNY Be Delicious, however the City Nolita Girl flanker leans a lot more floral than the original. I do not smell much of the raspberry top notes, but the violet and magnolia at its heart are very pretty. It smells like a pared-down, slightly woodier version of Curve by Liz Claiborne, which incidentally includes all the notes of this fragrance. It’s taking me back to my club-hopping/college days of the late 90’s, early 2000’s. For the generation who rocked low rise jeans, dark lip liners, and our body weight in spray glitter. It’s flirtatious and not overly serious, a casual but sexy scent. Not a bad choice for something I picked up as a discount store blind buy.

No powdery, no violets, no raspberry, no magnolia neither sandalo. This is 85% fresh like the green apple Be Delicious, and then comes a bit of fresh floral indefined mixed and no sweet berries, but freezed berries. Nothing is powder here neither sharp, is the usual freshness known of Be Delicious green apple. I can see why i bought it half priced, because stuff like this is not a hit, never will be! In my experience, i prefer to buy the spring/summer, DkNY (tower) released each year, because i already had some before and they were really really good at longevity and sillage. I can still say that some are not good, i found them too herbal green, but those wich are good, believe in me are very very good!

Smells so similar to Donna Karan's green apple. Lightly floral and fresh. Very casual fragrance, smells like something to wear at work. Not very outstanding, it's lighter than the original Be delicious. I don't sense the notes listed here. It smells like a clean white floral scent. I would wear it, if I got it as a gift, but I wouldn't buy it.

I wouldn't agree that it has raspberry as the main note. It's blackberry - and more precisely non-sweet and non-sour blackberry sorbet. Violet is quite prominent and long-lasting a note here. Unfortunately the combo starts out with the sharp and screechy dishwashing liquid- like set of notes typical for the "green apple" Be Delicious line (just like Fresh Blossom Intense) therefore the whole "purple" concept is ruined here. It becomes better and softer after 2-3 hours though, so all in all, it deserves a chance. I'll leave it until late August evenings, when blackberry harvest time will come.

Quite a fresh, a little bit greenish floral fruity scent, with some soapy feels. Clearly recognizable as Donna Karan's fragrance. At my skin this is quite a unilateral, girly and cool, with strong violet note. At first hour is a bit intense, but it calms down. Longevity is about +-5 hours. Usually I like these "Be Delicious" pastil shaped bottles, but this one looks a pretty cheap and girlish, so it's not my favourite designed one. Overall okay fragrance, guaranteed for Donna Karan, but nothing special and doesn't attract me to buy it.
