DKNY Be Delicious

In the Year of the Brat, I'm hoping Be Delicious has her comeback. She's an icon. She really is. When it comes to the holy trinity of a fragrance great – solid performance, sick bottle, and a damn good scent – I'd argue Miss BeDe is a triple threat. 🧩🦋♻️ Form: Let's start with the nuts and bolts. The vessel is iconic. She's the Mona Lisa of Frutiger Aero. The very eau d'aero. Fish-tank screensavers, clear plastic craniums, toy robot dogs. She looks like a glossy app button you'd see on iOS 2.0. 💿🎾 Function: This is stalwart for an aquatic. Imagine that crisp, freshly-shampooed feeling you get just out of the shower. But imagine having that for eight straight hours. That's BeDe. 🌐🐠 Psyche: BeDe is what a stock photo of a cyber-green apple smells like to a cyborg. It's what the future citizens of a green-and-glass utopia drink for breakfast. Gummy cubes of proto-cucumber, clear spheres of synthetic apple. Sweet neon acid. Brat juice. It's a viral sorority. Every time I smell BeDe in the wild I compliment the wearer, and they always seem giddy to have found a fellow fan. 🍏🌀🥒 tl;dr: e-apple

Sick of millenial women trash-talking this because it was their first real perfume and they associate it with their 7th grade trauma. for me THIS STUFF BANGS. I've been on a kick lately where I want to smell like a spa treatment or Halfway Decent hotel shampoo. On my skin, the cucumber sort of tussles with the green apple, so I wouldn't say this is a safe blind buy for true apple enjoyers. It's synthetic in it's fresh fruitiness, but it's still manages to be nice and light. It's not perfect, but it's absolutely everything to me. Think of the weird era of commodified freshness in the mid-to-late 2000s, but bottled. A Pocketful of Sunshine, so to speak. Those Be Delicious ads with models sexily smouldering into the camera while holding that awkward apple bottle were highly misleading. There's nothing decidedly sexy about fruity floral aquatics.

Fresh and lovely. One of my fav perfumes. The cucumber and green apple are the most prominent notes. Doesn't have incredible complexity or evolution on the skin. This fragrance is so crisp and yummy. Despite its fruitiness, it doesn't feel childish it has a cleanness that lends maturity. I always get compliments from men and women when I wear this. I have worn this year round good for a cold winter day even better for a steamy summer. I typically prefer very feminine scents but this one can be unisex. So good. Great projection and longevity. Sometimes I get sick of a fruity fragrance but this one I will sniff all day. I remember one time at work I wore this and got swarmed by my coworkers wanting to smell it. 10/10 LOVE

In the mid 2000's when I was in my early 20s this was one of the first real fragrances I bought for myself. I could only afford a travel size roller ball, but it smelled so good I had to have it. It's the epitome of a fresh, clean shampoo smell. I never did repurchase when I used up travel size all those years ago, but today I finally got myself a full size bottle (shoutout to ulta for putting this on sale for 40% off) and I'm so glad I did. A lot of people say this fragrance is dated, but smelling like you're fresh out of the shower will never go out of style, in my opinion. I'm also in love with the design of the bottle and I hope they never change it. Long live DKNY Be Delicious!

Для меня это очень интересный и вкусный аромат — яблоко здесь звучит по-настоящему свежо, чисто и элегантно. Подходит девушкам, но и на женщинах будет звучать очень красиво, просто на ком-то он больше про игривую свежесть, а на ком-то — про ухоженность и легкую бодрящую элегантность. Зелёное яблоко в этом аромате — уже почти классика. Его сложно с чем-то сравнить: у многих аналогов похожее направление, но они кажутся пустее. В них нет той самой легкости, свежести и ненавязчивого величия, которое есть у DKNY.

Around 15 years ago, I got a 50ml from a CCO, thinking I like the smell of green apple, this will be nice for a while. It has become a signature scent for me. And I still have my original bottle. It still feels as fresh, apple-y and clean as always, and is a go-to in summer/often when I'm wearing the color green. The green apple is so prounounced on me that I do actually feel the need to wear green when wearing it. I love it, I will always have it my collection, and have finally been looking into a replacement bottle because I am starting to run low. The flankers don't actually work that well on me, but this one will always be in my collection.

I'm in love with this perfume, it smells like a clean green apple with a bit of florals and it's juicy but not too sweet omg. The lasting power is great for a fruity-floral perfume at this price. It's not a complicated fragrance so you can easily wear it at any occasion! I can imaging myself wearing this hanging out at the mall with my friends in a bright spring day! THE PACKAGING IS AMAZING it's so pretty and 2000's coded. It's like the frutiger aero aesthetic! I wouldn't overspray it tho cause it MIGHT seem too sweet and could make u tired of it! Soo yeah if u love clean girl fruity-floral perfumes and u like apple note GET THIS!!!

This scent was all around me in my 20's everyone wore this at one point. Fresh juicy apple scent, amazing silliage and lasting power. I remember not being able to afford this amd always wanting it. Fast forward to the 30's and I have her. Unfortunately I don't enjoy it as much because I remember smelling it all the time. So it's one I don't reach for often. It is beautiful, my tastes have changed though. But it's worth having in your collection as it's a great summer /spring scent.its just such a juicy fragrance. This fragrance just shows how your tastes change over the years. This is definitely a youthful scent to me now.

Now THIS!!! Attention: Wear this perfume if you want to get compliments from EVERYONE.. including yourself! Because the scent is true, lasts all day, leaves a trail of deliciousness, truly lives up to its name!!! Everyone, absolutely everyone, compliments me on this fragrance when I wear it. It is strong~ Like a crisp green apple, but deep and yummy... just So Delicious. It is bold~ in the sense that it WILL get noticed!!! SO DELICIOUS!!! I still got compliments after I had it on all day, (8+ hours) and I had only sprayed it 1-2x in the morning! So yummy...fruity with a hint of herbs. Well done.

I've had this since it came out and just got it out of storage after 2+ years. I was certain it had turned. I'd been craving this fragrance like crazy recently since it's summer here, plus all the nostalgia of the 2000s and listening to Charli xcx's album "BRAT" plus the entire Y2K era and BRAT girl summer vibes 🍏 I was super excited to find it in perfect condition and all the notes just as I remembered them. The top notes are fresh, fun and citrusy for summer. The middle notes are some of my favourite florals and the base notes keep it really long lasting. Fun, fresh and nostalgic!

Imagine the ripest, freshest, juiciest, crispest green apple. Not sharp or sour or powdery. The most perfect green apple to ever exist is what this smells like. Now combine that realistic, slightly-sweet apple with the scent you get when you walk into one of those indoor flower fridges - extremely fresh, white flower petals, they've been freshly watered, and it's cold. That's what the apple is sitting on top of in this fragrance. This is what I thought Kayali's apple perfume would smell similar to. This is way better. Longevity isn't bad but sillage is weak.

Hail to one of the most well-balanced fruity, floral, aquatic freshie of them all! I love fruit frags and aquatic frags. To be honest, I thought I probably would like Be Delicious; however, I was truly blown away at how well-balanced this particular scent is. It's not overly sweet nor overly tart. It's just right.This is actually at the top of my fav list along with Acqua di Gioia. I think it's well-suited for any age or gender that enjoys this particular type of fragrance. Also, for the price, a pretty safe blind buy.

Tinha 18 anos quando comprei com o meu 1 salário, fui fisgada pelo comercial que sempre passava nos canais da tv a cabo kkk Adoro o be delicius, cheiro de mulher jovem e alegre,muito confortável e gostoso e não é nada invasivo. Sinto muito o lírio do vale mas minha nota favorita e que mais sinto é o pepino dá um frescor indescritível. Não compro faz algum tempo pois o preço ficou bem salgado, mais esse cheiro é uma memória gostosa que eu guardo com muito carinho.

It really IS delicious... I loved it, so much so that I've absolutely blown through the 30ml I received for Christmas. Super crisp green apples and cucumber come together to make something perfect for all year round. I'd consider it a more daytime fragrance, but you could wear it anytime. I used it with the body crème also supplied in the giftset- I couldn't stop smelling myself. If you love something green and fresh, possibly veering towards recently cut grass, this is 100% a decently priced must have.

I wore an old bottle this yesterday to be at home, then I applied a bit more before going to a CrossFit workout, then went to football practice. The girls at football were all: it smells like cotton candy, someone smells like marshmallows... it turned out to be me! I was surprised because DKNY Be Delicious is an apple aquatic scent! I guess mixed with my body chemistry, especially after a workout it turned sweeter? Which was unexpected but definitely a good thing! I will be reaching for it more :)

I've purchased 5+ bottles of Be Delicious throughout my life. Every time it runs out, I sprint to the store for another. This is that one perfume I just NEVER get sick of. She's bright, green, and airy, with a crisp apple heart that just smells so clean and pretty. The florals stop it from smelling too young, but I've been wearing it since I was a teenager so it just naturally smells young to me. Almost like shampoo, and I mean that in a good way because I LOVE this perfume.

I have this currently as my primary scent. I think it's best in summer an spring, but I have zero issue wearing it year round. It's fresh, green floral and apple-y. It mellows into a musky vanilla-ish scent on my skin (not sure why, but I love it). I don't smell so much cucumber as apple, but I can understand why people say that they do. It's got decent reach and, honestly, for some reason it enhances my confidence. You can't ask for more in a scent, right?

This has been my go-to daytime fragrance for over a decade. They come out with different versions, but I am always brought back to the original. Fresh, green, and fruity without being overdone. Pleasant white flower dry-down without smelling aged. Almost like White Diamond by Liz Taylor I would say. I'm surprised to find that the base notes are wood and amber which have always been common in my favorite perfumes, but I don't get that from this at all.

First whiff is very soapy. A very artificial unripe apple note, freshly cut grass, a garden. The smell right after it rains in the spring. As it wears on the skin, the soap fades and the apple grows sweeter and fresher. One of my family's friends wore this religiously when I was a child, so it is incredibly nostalgic. It smells like the Windows XP background, Mac OS X's glossy buttons and a mall in the mid 00's. Y2K and skeuomorphism in a bottle.

My bottle is an unused hand me down from my older sibling which was bought probably around 2010. I don’t remember what it was like new (except that it was Apple-y) and I don’t know what the new bottles smell like either. All I know is that this is Apple laundry sheets and I think I have to have a bottle of this on hand for the rest of my life. Also I just realized I reviewed this already a few months ago but I’m keeping this one up
