DKNY Be Tempted

At the moment I'm often sniffing and testing fruity scents in stores. While I love to wear my warm winter perfumes, I miss summer, and smelling fruity fragrances can help me to escape the winter gloom for a moment. Be Tempted is one of those fruity fragrances. It smells like an intense cocktail of berries, mainly raspberry, red apple and a splash of citrus. So summery and uplifting. The floral notes are very restrained, but I think I get a tiny hint of rose. Overall, this smells very red to me, so the bottle color fits the scent perfectly. The scent is anchored with sweet vanilla and the patchouli and licorice notes give it a darker, heavier background note. I think this is balanced nicely, with exactly the right amount of these notes: Be Tempted has a stronger and denser base than a typical light summer fragrance (and most scents from the DKNY apple line), but does not enter fruitchouli or vanilla gourmand territory. It just stays intensely fruity for a long time. I'm usually not a huge fan of the DKNY apples, I find many of them a bit boring and redundant, but this is a good one.

This is my second review about this lovely perfume My first one was back in 2017 when I first discovered this Ruby red piece of jewel & immediately fell in love (scroll down & give it a read) Now It's 2022 & that's still my signature perfume I hope DKNY never discontinues it The beautiful red apple like bottle with a snake wrapped around 🐍is still one of the most iconic designs I have ever seen untill now Equal blanced notes of red apples 🍎& red berries giving it that sweet cheerful scent ,then comes the liquorice Lets take a moment here I have never seen liquorice notes beautifuly blended with other notes before Normally they just scream on their own While liqourice does have a hint of bitterness to it , it balances the sweetness of the apples & berries giving it that iconic unique smell,also it makes the perfume stay fresh even at the dry down Its perfect for all seasons of the year I still get compliments & asked what perfume r u wearing 🍎❤️❤️

Nothing like Lolita Lempicka thank goodness, as I couldn't stand that- way too green for my taste. But this... wow! It's not a love, but it is a massive like. It's all red berries and patchouli on me, with a hint of apple and liquorice in the background. It's sharp but soft at the same time, which confuses me slightly... how can it be both? I can barely smell the rose or violet, which for me is great as i'm not really that much of a violet fan. If you've been put off in the past by all the apple smelling flankers, this one will surprise you, it's all berry, berry, berry! Not sure I like it enough to buy a fb as I have a few scents that smell fairly similar. It's not groundbreaking, but very pleasant, nothing to really dislike about it.

Although I don't like licorice, as a flavour, it appears I love it as a scent note. This beautiful bottle, holds a mysterious, seductive scent; the mix of berries, apple and licorice is intoxicating. I picture in my mind, a fortune teller's tent, and this scent enveloping all that enter. This would be perfect if these initial notes stayed longer, but eventually it dries down to a rose and vanilla scent - nothing wrong with that, but I crave that exotic, heady opening lasting throughout. I have nothing, other than Good Fortune, that is similar to this, and thank my lucky stars I managed to get a second FB.

This is my favorite perfume for autumn and winter days where I feel extra spicy. I use this when I want to make an impression, and I always get so many compliments. I got this on christmas a few years ago from my mother in law and although i was quite skeptical in the beginning because of the harsh pepper smell I ofc tried it and fell hard in love with it ́s sexy spicy green apple and berry scent. The myrrh really gives it a good mystique that makes it so interesting and charismatic. I hope this never disappears or gets reformulated, it ́s a clear 11/10 for any badass and confident girl out there.

This is one is pretty interesting and dynamic. At first spray it’s very sweet and light smelling. Which was a bit disappointing for me because I was hoping for something deeper. But then when it dries down it gets a little darker and more mysterious. I am not a fan of the initial spray or the sprayer for that matter, but after a few minutes this settles into a very beautiful scent. The bottle is pretty, and looks very nice, but the way it sprays is not my favorite.

I don't understand why the negative reviews!! this is by far one of the very few "well done" DKNY apple perfumes!! the bright red color of the bottle is amazing & it does have red apple notes in it ,,NOT green as listed Berries are introduced in the first spray then settles down there is a very faaaaaaaaaar away echo of black opium & la vie est belle in it , probably the patchouli overall its nice fruity scent, kindda like a body mist 9/10

I found this fragrance at my local Ross for $15. Such a steal considering how much I adore this scent. It’s juicy, it’s sensual, it’s comforting, it’s sassy, it’s everything. When I wear this I feel so feminine & sexy. My husband loves it for date night. I think it’s a great winter/fall scent & good for any night out! Vanilla as a base gets me every time. I don’t pick up on many florals mostly the Apple & Vanilla & amber Bc of the spice.

If Be Delicious is DKNY’s interpretation of a crisp green apple, Be Tempted is its county fair candy apple cousin. It smells sweet and alluring, reminiscent of BBW’s Country Apple. I absolutely love this fragrance. It delivers on fruity gourmand notes, but still smells sexy enough for a more mature wearer. Adding this to my collection.

This is a fabulous fragrance! It's a, nearly all year round fragrance but I wouldn't wear it in the extreme heat of summer, maybe could pull it off in cool summer nights. Smells like sweet tart red berries and sweet vanilla and a touch of incense from the myrrh, the licorice is noticeable too. A hidden gem for sure!

I love this perfume. For me its an all season and all day scent. It smells like berries with vanilla and apple. It has a more feminine and girly identity. I would like it to have more duration on me ( it stays for 4-6 hours) but its okay.

I love this but it just doesn't last on me. I can hardly smell it after half an hour. It smells like lychee and red berries. Would be one of my favourites if it lasted longer but I won't buy it again because of this.

I love this every time I wear it. Berry, but make it dark and sexy. I smell it for hours after I spray it, and projection is a bit more than personal bubbe for me. I put this on randomly all year round.

What a unique scent. It lasted about 6 hours on my wrist. Smells like delicious summer getaway. Will purchase once I run out of my Juicy <3

Smell of montpensier candies and an old-school waxy lipstick. Warning- can become addictive!

Despite the name, heavy notes and snake, there is nothing dark about this scent. It is youthful and girly, but also quite pleasant and wearable, with a tartness that sets it apart from sugar-syrup-y perfumes marketed towards girls. I smell a lot of berries and apple, with a smidge of plush, fruity, rose that presents more of its fruity facets than floral tones. It's not super sweet and the berries are a little tart. The vanilla is faint, but comes out more on the drydown and brings a bit of warmth to the scent. Here and there I catch the barest whiffs of soft musk and a very mild licorice, but you really have to look for them. Be Tempted is more of a shampoo-fresh scent. Not amazing or anything, but not bad either. Perfectly acceptable at the pricepoint and for the expected market (it would be great for a beginner scent), but I do wish it was more of a spicy-sweet autumnal scent. Yet, it is growing on me. I think it would serve as a good warm-weather dumb-reach perfume.

Ooooh I am liking this one so far. It's not any kind of revelation, mind you, but still. First spritz is mainly red berries, though to me it smells just like German sour cherry cake... tart berry filling with lots of vanilla crumbles on top. Once the berries calm down a bit on me it becomes such a nice soft concoction myrrh, rose, patchouli, vanilla, green apple and berries, appropriate for everyday wear. If i hadn't read here that licorice is one of the notes I most likely wouldn't have guessed it. Same goes for the citrus and floral notes. It lasts decently enough on me, but despite it being among the stronger ones of the DKNY be delicious perfumes, I still fear it's most likely too weak to make itself known once I return from moderate German weather to the humid and hot extreme weather of Mumbai. Anyway, for now I really enjoy it from first spritz all the way to how it develops on me over the day. Nice one.

my mom just gave me hers that's been sitting in her drawer for 3 years and OHMYGOSH it smells SO delicious !!! immediately after spraying i got hit HARD by some.... fresh spicy stuff ? might've just been the alcohol, idk, but it hurt my nose lol. as soon as it dried though which was pretty quick, all i could smell was just this delicious fruity sweetness. UGH so good. i smell some florals in it but my nose isn't very sophisticated so idk which one of the flower notes it is that i'm liking in here. i usually avoid perfumes with any floral notes in them because i really don't like the spiciness (for lack of a better word) they have for me. but yeah ! super yummy. also smells very youthful and playful imo but not too much. it's like a perfect balance of playfulness and... elegance, i guess. i like it ! :3

I have a decant of this and I have to say I am not sure how I feel. It is a nice fairly light scent. The opening is berries, patchouli, and woodynotes on my skin. The dry down is a creamy apple and vanilla with a little spice to it. Reminds me of an apple pie scent. It is not sickly sweet. When I say apple pie, I am talking about the scent that lingers the next day from baking apple pies. I will have to wear it a few more times to decide how I really feel. At this time I probably won't buy a full bottle. Longevity/Sillage: about 5 hours on me. First hour is about arm's length and then it draws itself closer to the skin Safe blind buy: yes if you like scents that are not overly sweet. Full bottle worthy: Not sure. Will have to wear a few more times to decide but at this point. No. Not to me.

It's finally cooling down here, and I find myself reaching for the sweeter, heavier perfumes in my collection–and Be Tempted definitely fits the bill. While it's definitely sweet, it's not candy-apple sweet; it's a little deeper than that, a little more interesting. That said, it's not a true "apple" perfume. Red berries all the way, but I'm happy about that. There is a little apple that comes through on me, perhaps after a hour or two of wear, that tempers the sweetness a bit. Longevity isn't fab. I get approx. 4-6 hours out of four sprays. I wasn't really expecting more than that, though, so I'm not terribly disappointed. Overall: light, unintimidating, approachable, sweet.
