DKNY Delicious Delights Cool Swirl

I purchased this last summer as the reviews made it sound like a refreshing scent and they were right! The lasting power wasn't the best, it faded within hours after spraying. However, I sprayed it in my hair the other day and I could smell it much longer than if I were to just wear it on the skin. I get the sweet, but fresh pistachio and coconut from beginning to end. Most fragrances that have coconut can be like vanilla perfumes that just suffocate your lungs but this was a subtle coconut that lingers in the background. I truly enjoyed this, I wish it wasn't limited edition!

This is my new favourite gourmand. I've tried all three in this line - Fruity Rooty and Dreamsicle. Fruity Rooty was just very forest fruity and not that exciting, and Dreamsicle I didn't like at all. I LOVE Cool Swirl!! This is like ice cream in a bottle. I've been looking for a scent that smells like ice cream and this is EXACTLY that. I smell pistachio, coconut, honeydew melon, cookies and vanilla ice cream. Soooo nice..creamy and a very unique scent to me. Never smelt anything like it.

If you love the original DKNY Be Delicious 🍏 you’ll probably love this too. Smells like a creamy coconut 🥥, apple 🍏 holiday in a bottle. I love it and it’s super strong! I don’t understand how some are saying it’s weak? They definitely captured the “creamy” smell....it’s hard to describe, but it’s beautifully delicious. Will definitely buy again once mine runs out.

Love, love, love this! This is delicious, fruity and creamy ice-cream. Amazing smell on the skin. I'm surprised at the reviews saying it doesn't last long, I must be one of the lucky ones as this lasts well on me! Strong at first but it does settle down to be a more subtle fragrance.

in my country (Germany) the bottles look different - they are all just unicolor (green, orange, pink). does anybody have seen this Cclors like here on the pics?? just wondering...

great pistachio gourmand! if u love pistachio, u wont pass on this...there are not much pistachio fragrances at the market yet, so grab this if u like it plus ice cream smell

best perfume ever, its fruity and not too strong but it lasts a long while (at least for me). I get a lot of compliments too, its def my signature smell!

best longevity out of the three...I washed my hands already several times, but it is still there as intense as when i applied it

15. February 2015 I have managed to test the whole trio and this one is the least favorite of mine, HOWEVER(!!) I would put it on the second place with "fruity rooty". Tve reason is that they are both good, but not perfect for my taste. While i like the opening of "fruity footy" and no much the drydown, "cool swirl is the opposite: i don't like the opening, but i like the beautiful pistachio drydown. The ooening is very fresh and resembles the original "Be delicious" quite much and i strongly dislike the original. Fresh and green, high on the musk and jasmine it smells very ordinary. BUT!! the drydown is a pure magic: bitter raw pistachio with violet leaf and light musk. It is veeeeery nice, you have to smell it. I don't get ANY blueberries, almost no coconut, NOT a hint of pachouli. It stays fresh, virginly green, like the first young tree leaves in the early spring and very captivating, thanks to fresh raw pistachio accord!! Soft sillage and moderate lasting power and a very reasonable price are the perfect combo for the upcoming spring. A must have!!!

Oooh, this is pretty. It smells a bit different to what I expected based on the notes. It's definitely got that 'sorbet' quality - it's refreshing without smelling too 'clean'/soapy, or citrusy. I can't say I detect pistachio, though - to me it's a fruity sorbet with some coconut water, cooling, delicious, and juicy. I can't really pick out individual fruits; I thought I smelled green apple, and then pear, but maybe also something more exotic like pineapple or papaya. Possibly also a soft undertone of crushed green leaves or freshly cut grass. Mmmm...very relaxing and happy! The silage and longevity are average. UPDATE: The pistachio note DOES eventually come through! After a few hours, the perfume becomes noticeably creamier and cosier. I like it even more now

A blind buy while looking for something else, and I really rather like it. I wouldn't necessarily say a 'safe' blind buy though. It's both fresh and creamy. I get a whoosh of straight DKNY apples on first spray, which mellows out into a sort of ice creamy-with-a-touch-of-greenness-and-powder over time. But not baby powder, more like powdered sugar or maybe even parma violet powder. It lasts really well on my skin. I do get the pistachio, but only after a couple of hours wear time. It's delicious though. Makes me long for a summer holiday! Different enough not to get lost amongst all the usual candy gourmands out there.

What a blast of nostalgia! This is like a really good kid’s shampoo, or hand sanitizer from Bath and Body Works. I remember loving the green and tropical ones like apple, pear, coconut, lime and guava. This smells like all of those mixed together, with a vanillic sweetness making it resemble a tropical frozen treat. Overall quite soapy and sweet, which is usually are negatives for me, but it brings back such happy memories I’d be lying if I said I didn’t enjoy it immensely.

Just blind bought this at ross for $16.99 and it’s a lovely surprise! I do get some remnants of the original Be Delicious, but with different fruits and creamier. Its fresh but its calming, the patchouli doesn’t stand out to me which is nice because I usually pick up on that immediately. Didn’t think i’d enjoy the pistachio, but it’s blended nicely. Can’t say anything about lasting power cause this is a first impression but its a unique smell and i’m glad I found it!

I have this feeling that a small part of this perfume is DKNY's Be Delicious. Somehow it comes in mind. I also sense sweet sorbet and coconut in it. Sweet, tender and light, very nice summer fragrance, but the others from that line were even better. I am afraid this one doesn't have very good sillage and longevity. But nice and outstanding anyway. I guess I just wouldn't buy it, because it's too weak.

I can definitely feel the original DNA of Be delicious, however this one is much sweeter and on me it smells like shampoo. Very musky with prominent magnolia and sorbet note. It really smells like pistachio vanilla ice cream. The dry down is ozonic and brings me a whiff of Be delicious infamous cucumber. Overall a nice fragrance, however it's just a like for me because of that intense shampoo note.

Coconutty sorbet mostly, with random green, fruity, and floral notes popping up here and there, and a touch of musk in the base. It was a $16.99 blind buy from Ross, and met my expectations. I like wearing it for an easy pick on warm sunny days. Doesn't last very long and doesn't project too far. But has a purpose in my fragrance wardrobe.

Ok I love the smell of this perfume but it gives me such a headache. I really only feel like wearing it on cooler summer days. You would think from the notes it would smell refreshing but no, it just smells sticky and stodgy, like melted lukewarm icecream. It is perfect for the beach on a windy day but not much else.

I really like this perfume! To me it smells like coconut water - with some white floral & musk. I feel like it smells like I’m swimming in a tropical swimming hole - drinking coconut water surrounded by blooming flowers! Its summer day time - not gourmand sweet but floral sweet. Very nice! I would recommend!

Light gourmand scent, made mostly of sorbet and pistachio notes. If you don't mind smelling like a cookie, try it. Nowadays many new fragrances smell like sweets, some even smell like sugar bombs, but luckily Cool Swirl keeps its sweetness under control. Recommended for gourmand lovers.

Nice when it goes on, doesn’t last but when it fades down to next to nothing (within an hour) it smells EXACTLY like fruit tingles (Australian fizzy fruit Lolly). Who cares if it doesn’t last, the bottle is eye candy sitting there with it’s sisters. Pretty!

I got this as a Christmas gift and it is definitely not a winter smell as it gets closer to summer though it's starting to smell nicer. I like the smell it's unique to me and is creamy smelling. Fairly long lasting on skin and clothes.

It smells like ice-cream :) I think there is a banana note as well I like it , but it has zero lasting power and its quite a faint scent as well, they should have intensify a lot more I would classify it as floral fruity Gourmand

I wanted to love this thinking it could be a light summer Gourmand . I hate when winter ends and I have to put my heavy gourmand away. I want it all year long so I figured go light so you can still have a gourmand experience this has survey and pistachio so I purchased it. It’s there in the background not front dominant. I was disappointed got the shampoo vibes every body is talking about and I was determined to do something to make it better. Now BBW came out with iced sugar plum and to me it smells like blueberries this has blueberries in it and it helped a lot brought the blueberries to the front and the marshmallow sweetened it. But it gets better I want pistachios that’s what I really wanted so I paired it with BBW vanilla bean Noel chefs kiss my pistachios came to the front no joke bye bye shampoo hello pistachios. I’m going to play with this more cause I’m thinking BBW Christmas cookies is gonna knock this out the park . I’m not saying it’s the best fragrance ever no no but you can get it for under 25$ avoid high prices for a light summer gourmand if you just play with some vanilla or cookie or even blueberry body mist I really think it helped and now I can stop staring at it because I don’t want to smell like shampoo and start using it would I repurchase I don’t know I hate having to add things to make a perfume better if they would only do there job lolo I like laying combos for uniqueness and I’m a layering combo junky. But to fix something you just bought leaves me bitter, However never say never because I’m telling you this with Vanilla Bean Noel it’s helping me love what’s happening here. Hope this helps!

This fragrance is so me but I’m on the verge of returning it because you can barely smell it! You literally have to put your nose to your skin and smell it. The sillage is 0. WTF such a nice fragrance but it’s almost not worth it. There are body sprays that have more longevity and sillage.

Its ok. Smells more like cucumber than anything else. Ok so its growing on me it pairs really well with other Pistachio fragrances.

Something in it reminds me of a grass scent and something else makes it come off as a bit powdery. None of the listed notes surpirses me as I can imagine any of them be in this perfume. I don't sense any note that isn't listed. Not intense and long-lasting. Lasts quite okey on the skin but with a low sillage. It's mostly floral and a spring/summer scent that suits days more than evenings or nights. I'd be pleased with this scent in a soap or shampoo, or if fresh laundry had this scent but not so much if I only had one perfume and it was this one. It's not bad but not something I prefer.

I bought this one just because of the sorbet note, unfortunately I cannot detect it. :( On my skin it's a very green and fresh scent, but creamy at the same time. It's like raw pistachios with a freshly cut grass smell and green apple, plus the coconut (water). If you don't like it this raw like me, try to combine with simple and sweet coconut perfumes, like Fcuk Friction. These two blend very well. Fcuk cuts the sharp raw edges, but keeps the weirdly unique part of the original.

I purchased the trio mainly because I wanted this one. Unfortunately, it's my least favourite of the three. I get no coconut or pistachio on me, it ends up smelling like a sharp patchouli based bathroom cleaner! Based on the reviews below, it seems like this one does have a lot to do with your own chemistry. On a positive note, the longevity and sillage are really good on this one, so if the scent does work for you, you're on to a winner :)

This does share the original dna of be delicious, much softer, and I agree there’s a creamy note. They definitely could have made this one incredible if they amped up the strength and lactonic quality. It’s just kind of meeh... Body splash performance

I got this for my birthday in 2016 from my boyfriend. I thought I would like it more than I did, but unfortunately something about the scent (the coconut?) made me feel nauseous.

I bought this because when I looked at the notes, I thought it was going to be an instant love. I was expecting pistachio ice cream with a bluberry note to brighten it up. I got none of that. I'm not even sure what I am smelling when I spray this. It is horribly artificial and plastic smelling. I can smell a bit of pistachio, but it's the terrible artifical pistachio flavouring used in Jello pudding. There is no nuttiness at all. The coconut is also very bitter and artificial and I have a strong dislike for synthetic coconut and it is pretty dominant here. Under that synthetic mess is a nice sorbet note. It is light, sweet and icy and would have been lovely in another fragrance. The drydown doesn't get any better. The blueberry never shows up and the florals add nothing, they are mostly drowned out by the coconut. This fragrance definitely has summer vibes. Maybe it's the name of the fragrance or the colour of the bottle that's influencing me. Also, ice cream/sorbet always makes me think of summer and that is the one note in this fragrance that works for me. The performance is decent. It has lasted 4-6 hours with a light to moderate projection. Unfortunately the only thing I can smell in the sillage is bitter and plasticky. All the nicer parts of the fragrance are only detectable close to the skin. I love the minty green colour of the bottle. Even thought the design is cheap and tacky, the colouring makes it a bit more fun and playful and is reminiscent of ice cream. I bought my bottle a few years ago. I mentioned somewhere being disappointed by it and had a couple different people said to let it rest and one even said shake it up more. Over the years I tried all these things and nothing ever helped for me. This has been destined for the declutter pile from the start. Now it is finally there.

Instant headache! I have had this for a while now and everytime i have tried to wear it i get an immediate headache. I cannot get it scrubbed off. This is great news for those who love it. 7 layers of soap and sanitizer and its still lingering. I hate this fragrance. It smells too much like coconut and utterly synthetic. Score: 1/10

Just got my fb, was so curious about this note pyramid! Cool Swirl opens with a sweet burst of blueberry, quickly joined by wet, cool, juicy green violet leaves. A bit of creaminess joins in, some blend of gentle coconut and the sweet kind of 'jasmine' that's popular in today's white floral blends. This is however the closest to "sorbet" that it gets for me, but it is a very fun zippy scent! After 2ish hours it's reduced to a heliotrope (soft, warm vanilla) skinscent on me with just a touch of coconut still. Honestly the opening reminds me more of BALENCIAGA L'ESSENCE than anything else what with all that wet, green violet leaf. I'll wear this one as I wear other DKNY Delicious scents: for a few hours of playful sweet fun! :D The sillage is close to skin after about 45mins on me, longevity's only maybe 3 hours (dry, scent-eating skintype though). To Lulu169: my bottle does look like the liquid is yellow if you hold it up to light, like in the pic on here.

Mouth watering did you say?! Drool all over sounds more appropriate. This smells like heavenly ice cream served at the perfect temperature with an incredibly indulgent, rich and creamy texture. The fragrance engulfs you and the cold coconut water served at the very top is a thirst quenching appetizer paving the way towards frozen pistachio ice cream! This is no ordinary ice cream either, it is gourmet ice cream served at an air conditioned ice cream parlor some where like in the Maldives! The jasmine is not hot and heady, it is rather refreshing and stays in the background almost as if the couple sat behind you were drinking iced jasmine tea. You also get the impression of chilled cake sitting on freezing dessert stands which looks and smells divine, but you ultimately end up ordering ice cream!! Absolutely delicious, watch your cravings!

This is a fresh gourmand. A nice scent for the summer. I know the description says "pistachio sorbet" but to me it smells like a yummy, a bit acid, green apple sorbet. And the green apple smell continues to the drydown. I can ́t actually smell anything other. If i try really hard, maybe the coconut water. Ok, a bit of pistachio too. but definitely not pistachio sorbet. It is overall just this green apple smell ( that turns a bit sickening and synthetic as the perfume drys down). I am actually surprised green apple is not listed. Anyway, a nice fragrance but overpriced. It is not really that special and in one hour it is almost gone.

I'm disappointed. I was prepared to delve into the heavenly smells of pistachio, blueberry and coconut, but instead all I got was a sweet apple sorbet from initial spray to drydown. I don't know how that's possible as apple isn't even a listed note, but that's what it smells like to me. There's a hint of muskiness in the drydown, but a personally don't detect any patchouli or flowers either. So sad, this one could actually be an interesting perfume if they'd put some effort in the creation.

It’s a very watered down version of dolce and gabanna the only one intense imo. Very light. Coconut water mist, creaminess similar to vanilla imo, powderiness, slight nuttiness and earthiness- light coconut chypre- ish. But a very diluted version of d and b the only one intense- oddly enough. Pairing them together is really pleasant. I have a new found appreciation for the punch and intensity of d and b the only one intense after using delicious delights. It gives it a back bone, somehow.

This is my least loved in this collection. I can get the pistachio scent but also something Spicey like pepper? I also get that musky scent and something like the smoke from a bonfire. At the same time it's fresh and somewhat sweet. I think this would be great for summernights. Not partying, this is more like of a veranda and red wine kind of fragrance to me. A little more mature and sophisticated.

I agree with passionata20 about the dry down of this one. It is creamy, nutty, lush and snuggly .The top notes smell too much like coconut suntan lotion for my tastes, so, although I can see why people would love it, I probably won't buy it. I spent a lot of summers smelling like this as a teenager, now I am going more for the fruity vanilla thing that I never did in my youth.

Divine, paradise comes to mind.. I adore this fragrance, enchanting, romantic, drifting on a warm swirling bed of magnolia, serene and sweet. My friend could smell it days later in my hair although I had not used it that day. I would recommend this fragrance to anyone who enjoys the Caribbean sensation and smells. 10/10 Yummy!!

Cool and refreshing. This smells like a cucumber and mint smoothie to me. Very refreshing and green, just slightly sweet. I think this would be perfect for a boiling hot day. Silage is medium and lasting power around 4 hours.

Dry down smells just like Lancome hypnose to my nose, which I have an on-again, off-again relationship with. I ended up decluttering that one, and will probably do the same with this one

Sweet coconut. This is not fresh or crispy on me, more like syrupy and sticky. Quite good sillage and longevity. Nice and different edible scent and heliotrope is there too.

This is a creamy nutty fresh coconut that lasts pretty long honestly I could only describe it as creamy coconut water with pistachio ice cream. I would give this a 9/10

blueberry, pistachio and sorbet sound awesome but not in the same fragrance!!! how will they shine through?

Finally found it at Ross for $20. It smells so good like nothing I have ever smelled before.

To me this smells like freshly cut grass and like powdery coconut water.
