DKNY Delicious Delights Fruity Rooty

This is a very refreshing perfume, it smells just like blackberry smoothie/ice creams, it's for somebody who likes VERY fruity fragrances. If you like the Escada limited editions, you'll like this one and the rest of the collection, a good summery treat in the hot weather!

Beautiful fruity floral Comes out a bit strong like shampoo but it dies down to a nice fresh scent. The blueberry and blackberry with the apple sorbet really tie in with the other notes. I can smell some light violet and vanilla as well

it reminds me of orange sherbet so sweet and creamy 🤍🍊

14. February 2015 Tested the whole trio in tax free and must say i really like it!!! It is my second favorite from the trio and is true to it's name. It is light and fruity and has that beer root undertone. I find the combination of violet and blackberries/blueberies to be the center of the composition but while they are clearly detectable, thry are light as well. I especialky like the opening, because of it's unusual undertone, because later it becomes more ordinary fruity coctail of blueberries and blackberries, something like a very ligh version of Lanvin's "Me" original. The sillage is rather soft and lasting power up to 3-4hrs. Since it is a limited edition an is very reasonably priced, am planning to get this one.

This is a beautiful fruity fragrance. In a category that can so often end up being quite bland, this really stands out to me, I personally haven't came across anything like this. The Violet and vanilla give the sharp berries a sweet, powdery depth. Sadly I am one of the unfortunate ones who get zero longevity with this :( I have honestly doused myself in it and it's completely undetectable within half an hour. Such a shame because I love the scent. I will finish the 50ml bottle I have, but I won't repurchase.

This was a lovely surprise to test and my favourite of the trio. Berries, violets and sugar (vanilla?) were the layers of the top notes for me, yum! I can appreciate the Be Delicious ranges but until now, have not found one that seems to agree with my skin's chemistry. This has faint echoes of a cross between the sugared berry dessert of Eau Sucree and the violet in 1881 Cerrutti for me - and both of those agree with my skin so I am saving my pennies for this one now!

Out of the Delicious Delights collection, this was probably my favourite because its longevity is the greatest of the bunch. However it's just moderate. The sillage is quite soft. I mostly smell berries (darker berries) and powder which is nice, but also synthetic. I have gone through half of it and I don't enjoy using it anymore. I'd say this is a autumn/spring scent. It doesn't offend anyone either.

Reminds me of a fruitier Lanvin Me without the spicy licorice, the top notes come off with an obvious Orange & blueberry gum with a sour and sweetness kind of vibe, then the dry down becomes creamy and light to give this an ice cream Sorbet kinda scent, I like this very much, too bad it's limited edition :'(

An explosion of forest fruits. Aromatic and energetic and exhilarating and too good to be true. On me it quickly dries down to a whisper of its former self. I see that so far reviewers didn't have a problem with longevity, so it must be my own bad luck. Still, my favorite of the trio.

Very nice one! I think it's mostly sweet fruity coctail. Blueberry and blackberry are very dominant. Delicious fruity sweetness. Not overwhelming in any way. Similar to many other perfumes, but good and pleasant. Worth a try, if you don't own too many fruity fragrances already.

Inoffensive easy summer wear, you won’t stand out in a crowd wearing this, but worth trying if you can find it cheap.

It's a very light fragrance with no lasting power. It's like a forest fruit yoghurt (not sorbet) with some flowers, very similar to Shakira Eau Florale and Ck One Shock for her, sweet and sour at the same time, powdery and weak. A bit boring and overpriced.

DKNY Delicious Delights Fruity Rooty is a pleasant surprise, a true delight to the senses. Passing through the department store these pastel coloured DKNY bottles caught my eye, (initially I was drawn to them thinking they were the old Sweet Delicious collection from 2012). I picked up this cute pink bottle and spritzed it on out of curiosity. Fruity Rooty is as the name implies, a fruity-sweet fragrance. In the initial stages this scent smells like a shampoo, that very clean, fruity and feminine scent of freshly washed hair. I really enjoy that fresh feeling, particularly during the warmer months. Fruity Rooty is an easy scent to wear, casual and fun rather than complex. As the fragrance develops more on the skin, I do sense that sorbet type aroma. There are lots of fruits in this composition; crisp apple, juicy blackberry, mandarin orange and a touch of blueberry. The floral notes are almost non-existent. The drydown is mostly sweet and musky with a heavy dose of white musk. The sillage and longevity turned out better than expected, lasting a good six hours on my skin with moderate projection. Fruity Rooty is certainly not the most unique smelling fragrance on the market today but it is extremely pleasant. I would recommend Fruity Rooty as a safe choice for a fragrant gift.

I wish I got more violet from this. On me it is primarily tart berries and fruits, which isn't a bad thing. It does of course also have the sweetness from the sorbet and vanilla, but more me it's mostly a fruity affair. It's not the most unique Be Delicious flanker, but among the seemingly hundreds of flankers, it is commendable. It has surprisingly good longevity and sillage on me as well.

A pretty spring floral. This opens up with a soft floral with a slight fruity twist. It's a mixture of the powdery violet and fresh blueberries. During the middle stage and as it dries it becomes less fruity and more of a clean floral. This would make a great refreshing Spring scent. Silage is medium and lasting power is around 4 hours.

i was expecting something a bit more gourmand. Its very light fruity scent with berry and citrus notes. Vanilla gives it that sort of creamy sorbet feeling. I think its way too soft for my taste although its not bad. For summer its nice. I got it for 16 bucks at discount retailer and its definately not worth the full price

Light and fresh,fruity without being a candy blast, it stays overall light, and discreet...I see it as a happy go lucky summery scent, nicely done!! I agree it isn't your typical fruit bomb, like Escada, the fruity notes are well done, it is in a way more grown up...like it !!!

A cute bottle which has a fusion of floral and fruity notes. I do not love the scent only but also the packaging and design of the bottle.
