DKNY Nectar Love

The opening of this is gorgeous and relaxing. Like a realistic quite natural chamomile tea with honey. I wish the opening lasted longer but the scent changes after about an hour of wear. After this the drydown on my skin becomes a bit more deep and muted with the cedar, musk and vanilla coming through and the chamomile disappearing (a little of the honey remains). The drydown on my clothing is a bit different and becomes a lot more of a white floral soapy/fabric conditioner. Strangely enough the sillage remains quite honey forward even when the fragrance has dried down. The let down of Nectar Love is unfortunately the longevity. If I spray this on in the morning, it only barely makes it to lunch break. Though for the price point, around 4 hours isn't too bad and I would just re-apply in the middle of the day. I will say that throughout those 4 hours it does have a reasonable sillage and it only fully becomes a skin scent at the 3/4 hour mark. I love honey and beeswax notes. And for a nice honey I would usually go for JPG Scandal, but Scandal is on the heavier side and more suitable for evenings or cold weather. Nectar Love is a more bright and light honey that can be office friendly and more suitable for sunnier/warmer weather. In short: The opening is wonderful, but the drydown is a bit more generic. Longevity and sillage are mediocre. All in all I'm thinking of purchasing a full bottle mostly for the opening and the honey sillage and to have a lighter honey fragrance in my collection, it's pretty reasonably priced anyway. EDIT: I have gotten a full bottle since writing this review and am very surprised. The longevity and sillage is so much better than the sample I had! The wonderful notes I loved in the opening stay around a lot more. Adore this fragrance! Creates a gorgeous honey floral cloud around me for at least 5/6 hours when sprayed liberally on clothes as well.

Beautiful, just beautiful. This was gifted to me by my aunt last year. I was tentative at first because the amount of citrus notes frightened me. I don't do well with citrus-forward scents. They catch in my throat and make me cough violently. But Nectar Love is just gorgeous. It smells divine. Like the food of the gods on Mt. Olympus. It is a very honey-forward scent, but its not sweet in the way that is cloying or rotting. On first spray, its a burst of nectarine and yellow freesia. The mandarin orange and grapefruit keep the opening from hitting you in the face like a blast of sugar. Instead, its more like walking in a orchard during spring. But as the scent progresses, the vanilla seeps through very gently, adding a cosy quality to Nectar Love that makes it wearable all year round imo. I usually don't like vanilla because I find it very cloying, but it never overpowers the other notes, and instead complements them beautifully. This is a very bright, floral honey scent. Nothing like more medicinal flavours of honey. The jasmine and lily of the valley work beautifully to create this elegant, clean, sweetness. 10/10 recommend. Its beautiful. Has great longevity. Decent projection. And the price is so good. Plus, it doesn't really smell like what anyone else is wearing in a sea of Ariana Grande's Cloud and MFK Baccarat Rouge 540.

This is such a pretty intoxicating fragrance! Honestly in the sea of sweet floral fragrances this has a different edge that I really love. The start has a very mild honey scent that doesn't last too long but it gives the fragrance a nice sweet warm sent all the way through. I can definitely sense a note all the way through especially from the mid notes to the basenotes that feels like it would be the solar notes. It's like a warm skin scent from the sun if that makes any sense. It really is just lovely and it lasts really well I'm surprised I actually like it because I only really enjoy Cashmere mist from Donna Karan. It was on special at Priceline and I thought I would just give it a smell not expecting to like it much. Well it definitely surprised me in a very good way and I took home with me the 100 ml bottle! Glad I gave this a chance not only is the Scent just beautiful the bottle is absolutely gorgeous and just glamorous. This to me definitely feels like a sweet floral and I do enjoy a good floral fragrance that isn't too overly sweet but this is just a nice combination. Lovely mix of notes wonderful performance and just an overall lovely well presented fragrance that I will definitely be keeping in my collection well done Donna Karan

DKNY Nectar Love Eau de Parfum is a fragrance I really liked, but i'm slowly starting to fall in love with. Inspired by honey and bees, Nectar Love is a radiant elixir that exudes charm and light. Nectar Love is sweet, but it is a soft sweet. Never overpowering, this concoction is a very dreamy fragrance. Upon initial spray it is bright and hypnotising (fruity notes), but it settles into a very smooth vanilla woodsy skin scent. I have really grown to this scent and the bottle is too cute on your vanity! One of the best non-headache inducing florientals I have smelt in a while. I blind bought this on a whim, based off the notes. Perfect to wear alone or for layering. I tend to layer this most with Guerlain's Nettare Di Sole. Nettare Di Sole and Nectar Love are both sweet, soft scents. Mixed together the beeswax and cedar in Nectar Love really stand out, and the watery notes and honey in Nettare Di Sole come out. On my skin both dance beautifully and I smell both fragrance notes at different times during its wear. I had been looking for a replacement for Marc Jacobs "Honey" which is one of my favourites, but sadly discontinued. I am slowly becoming content with the trail I get when I mix these two. In complete bliss ❥❥

Gosh, I love this perfume so much. The initial burst is pretty polleny. Like smelling the center of a flower. You almost wonder if it is going to draw a sneeze. I walked away from it that first time. I just thought dandelion or something. But it settled down after a couple minutes to an incredible honey-vanilla, soft white flower scent that I revisited again and again. I literally could not stop smelling my wrist. It is that fabulous. While sillage is not great unless you really douse yourself in it, the longevity is pretty fantastic. The store gave me a teeny sample, but I knew that would only last me a minute and the big bottle was in my immediate future. I noticed it said solar notes and this truly is sunshine in a bottle. Thirteen notes seems like a lot (way more than any perfume really should have) but they marry so well it is not overwhelming or muddy. Just the perfect perfume. And such beautiful packaging. Could be a cloying scent in very hot weather, but has been great between freezing and seventy-ish. Oh, and it will linger on your sweater or jacket forever.

This is beautiful, tested it whilst on a city break in Rome. For some reason I expected it to smell of honey and I hate honey so I was expecting to hate it. It is sweet fresh and citrusy and juicy- it is a beautiful scent. I am definitely going to purchase this, although hard to come by in the UK. One of the best from DKNY. It has several notes I haven't detected before such as mirabele and beeswax. Also someone please tell me what on earth are solar notes? I am desperate to know!! This fragrance is definitely different in scent to a lot out there, but it is not too different it is still sweet fruity juicy and hence safe. But it has that kick about it. It is such a pleasant scent, it just made me happy and lifted my spirits. Definitely give this one a go. Very underrated fragrance from DKNY. I detect orange flower and lilly in this also which are 2 of my favourite notes. Honestly, this fragrance was a very pleasant suprise for me. Not how I expected it to smell at all.

This really gets better as it ages, so don't judge it by a freshly opened bottle. After a while the honey/beeswax rounds out and it becomes more complex and a little longer lasting. It is sweet, bright, and a bit shower gel-y (freshy synthetic nectarine and freesia are there) but in a more unique way thanks to the beeswax base, and even though it's not listed, I swear I get a chamomile tea top note that l love. This chamomile smell is more noticeable in the spray than the rollerball. Overall, it's lovely and interesting if you aren't turned off by sweet smells. One thing to note: although the bottle is fruit-shaped, this is not technically a Be Delicious flanker and it does not smell too much like Be Delicious. That said, if I tried hard, I could probably imagine I smell golden delicious apple in there as well.

I love everything about this one. It starts off honey sweet and orange blossom without the heaviness that honey can often bring. But what's really interesting is that as it changes through the day, the honey fades and the aldehydic accord comes out, so I end up with the neroli soap clean smell later in the day, when I need it the most. It is a bit weak, so spray generously right before you dress, and don't expect projection. It reminds you it's there if you get warm or have an errant splash of water hit it or something, otherwise you'll have to tuck your nose into your shirt to smell it. So it really is kind of like an "I washed with a nice soap" smell on the heels of a light honey perfume. I just wish another perfume house would make a similar scent, turned up a bit. Please tell me if you find one like this.

This is hands down my favorite perfume of all time. The primary note is honey. Straight up honey. It smells like honey with a hint of vanilla. Those are really all you smell, in my opinion. My SO, brother, and daughter all love this on me. My SO is very sensitive to perfume, and there are few he likes. This scent is strong enough to smell but you are not going to leave a scent behind at all. I only wish it was a tad stronger and lasted much longer. This is a scent you will need to reapply. If you do not like sweet scents you will not like this. If you like sweet scents that are fairly sweet and you enjoy the smell of vanilla and honey then you will absolutely love this.

Because of the cutesy bottle, this fragrance seems to get overlooked and underrated. There are not many beeswax prominent scents out there at this price. When this scent came out a few years ago, I received a sample rollerball and immediately fell in love and bought a giant bottle. It is definitely heavy on the beeswax and honey, but with the mirabelle and vanilla, it cools down to a lukewarm, super comforting beeswax. Not cloying and not overly sweet. It lingers around you all day. I find this the perfect scent to transition between seasons, especially late summer to fall. Love it!

Finally got my hands on this. 🤌🏼😩😌 Definitely a honey/beeswax scent on my skin. It comes through very strongly. I can also smells the be delicious DNA in here, which makes this a bit less sweet. I enjoy sweet fragrances and gourmands but I also like greens and florals etc. so I’m in love so far. Will update on how long it lasts on skin/clothes. Sadly this one doesn’t last on my skin or clothes. After about an hour it’s completely vanished. I still like it, and continue to use it. I’d say you can wear this perfume all year around but would work best around spring/summer.

I was just gifted a bottle of this perfume, and woah, I'm in love! Like another user said, I definitely detect chamomile in this-- the scent itself just reminds me of a sunny morning sipping chamomile and honey tea. Just a warm, happy fragrance. What really threw me, though, is that this fragrance reminds me so, so much of one I wore back during my Freshman year of high school (17 years ago, wow.), and I've been trying to find it for years. Now that I have this, I can delve deep into the notes and see if I can find that mystery perfume!

This could easily be a sister to Viva la Golden Couture. The sister that is willing to stick around! Starts off very strongly of fresh honey comb and pollen. Such a warm smell that immediately makes me long for spring, which makes this fragrance ideal for winter. As it dries down you get a little more of the vanilla, fruitiness and a hint of jasmine. Perfect for the office yet perfect for a date. Not gonna lie.... when I wear this I smell so good I want to make out with myself.

Very unique and dare I say... niche? This smells like you are walking through woods in spring, but x100 better than that actually smells in real life. Lush green foliage. Freshly bloomed flowers. Tangy cedar wood... and a honey bomb. This isn’t just a fragrance—this is a whole experience. The notes are all very vividly realistic and do not smell synthetic whatsoever. The bottle is cute. I’ve never smelled anything else like this. If you’ve tried it, you get it.

Love at the first sniff! Let me hold on to summer 2018 for awhile, please! Nectar Love is as sweet, warm and beautiful as the summer that just finished. This is fruity in a subtle, soft way, thanks to the honey notes. It has also a fresh element in it. Solar notes?! How do they create them? Sounds interesting. Cute bottle and a wonderful, happy scent. My want list just got a new member!

I purchased a rollerball of this a few years ago. It has only gotten better and better. I am a honey lover. Montale’s Honey Aoud is one of my absolute favorite scents. Nectar Love is gloriously honey - but a sweeter, softer, more feminine take on honey. For my preferences, I won’t wear honey Aoud in the humid summers... but I do wear Nectar Love and it really fills that gap!

This is a lovely sweet, fruity fragrance in the opening and with time it starts to smell like honey which is really nice. Unfortunately for some people, it smells slightly soapy in the drydown but that's more likely the quality of the ingredients as I've noticed in affordable body mists aswell. I would personally buy this scent if it came in a body wash but not a perfume

I love this scent. I find it very unique, you are either going to love it or you're going to hate it. At first I wasn't a fan but after a few more wears it was intoxicating to me. It was sweet and warm and had a beautiful citrus honey white flower scent. I really really enjoy wearing it! The price is reasonable and such a cool fragrance to add to any collection

I almost didn't buy this perfume because of the mixed reviews. But I'm glad I went with my gut instinct and brought it. It smells lovely, it's a scent that one can wear all year round. I smell lots of honey,vanilla, Lilly of the Valley, Jasmine, a bit of gardinia and a hint of nectar. Somewhat long lasting on my skin....So I'm also happy with that.

I bought different DKNY perfumes at my chemist near my house so I've got a few of different ones I have stories my ny necter love and this one I'm talking about is necter love and I really love necter love honestly I love it so much it smells so beautiful it smells so sweet and so honey and fruity I sprayed it on myself and I love it

I absolutely adore this perfume! As someone who easily gets headaches from strong scents, this was amazing. Every time I wear it, I get loads of compliments. I think it’s more floral, but there are definitely hints of honey. Overall, it’s a very girly scent, and I’m in love with it! Tens across the board.

This radiates on me, not subtle or intimate with my skin chemistry. For the first 20-30 minutes it's honey, beeswax, yellow fruits, and flowers. After it dries, I still get mostly honey and sweetness but also some gentle wood notes. It lasts about 5 hours on me. Really lovely!

It smells like honey, light and makes me happy. Unfortunately it last about 30 minutes, the all I can smell is a little bit of beeswax and wood. I like this fragrance very much, but don't reach for it that much sadly.

Sweet beeswax! I love this from top to bottom; the bottle is cuter than cute...although the cap is gold plastic, I would never have guessed; the bottle is heavy enough to feel ultra high quality. Really nice!

I love this. Sweet but not too much sweet, fruity, clean. Yummy! The honey/beeswax note is there, and it’s gorgeous. Not intoxicating or migraine inducing, I just love this one.

I blind purchased this one and oh boy I’m glad I did. It’s a beautiful young and fun fragrance unfortunately mine is only 30 ml. Great for teens and young adults.

I really like this a lot. I don’t like the smell of honey by itself but in combination with nectarine and citrus in this does wonders for me.

This is a spring fav for me! beautiful honeyed floral, really nice,easy to wear, inexpensive and lasts on my skin fora long time (8-10 hrs)

When I first got this I sprayed it 10x and it was too alcohol heavy and smelled like what I can only describe as sweet spit at the time lmao! So I shook the bottle and let it sit for a while, I think for 2 months bc i forgot about it. Today I tried it again, another 10 sprays and it's pretty honeycomb beeswax heavy initially this time around. As it dries down I get a general fruity sweet scent and whatever 'solar' is where it smells heated up and warm. There's also some light musk and a tiny bit of vanilla as it dries down. The beeswax stays rather prominent to my nose, though it does fade gradually and when I move around I occasionally get whiffs of honey and yellow flowers. I don't think it's too sweet, personally. It also seems like a great choice for summer days. All in all I think this is an easy fresh/warm reach and lasts decently for work. It's on the softer side for projection as well, with a smaller bubble only those very close can detect as far as I'm aware. I paid roughly $35usd for the big bottle bc I was convinced it was gonna be my scent, but it's just ok to me. Honestly it feels a little niche leaning because of the unique waxy accord, and the bottle is cute, so I'll keep it around and see what I can layer it with. I'm guessing gourmand and florals would be good choices, as well as anything vanilla. I give this a 6/10

I think this one is or will be discontinued because I found it on the 19.99$ rack at pharmaprix (shopper's drugmart in Canada) and usually when we find perfumes which used to sell a lot more than this on that rack it's often a sign that the perfume will no longer be produced. Anyway, for the perfume itself, I'm happy I could put my hands on it because wow I love the smell. I really get the beeswax note, which is a smell I really like, (I make homemade beeswax candles) and I find that the beeswax note is very realistic. My only complaint is the longevity and projection. This perfume unfortunately doesn't last, at least on me, but on clothes you can put out a better performance. I will keep it for hot summer days, I hope it will perform better in hot weather. But the smell, hummmmm I love it, it smells really good.

Honey notes in general can sometimes be tricky because they can smell, for lack of a better descriptor, like urine. DKNY NECTAR LOVE adds just the right amount of juicy sweetness to counterbalance the honey notes to make it all smell very appealing. The honey twinkles in and out, in subtle whisps throughout the day. It's not a hot mess of dripping thick honey, no. It's a day out, and when you catch a whiff of it, you're delighted. No need to be cautious if you're nervous about honey with this fragrance. I despise Lily-of-the-Valley, so am relieved to tell you that I detect none of it here. Really looking forward to spraying this liberally, all over my clothes, all summer long. I went ahead and bought the body wash, and am now buying a full backup bottle. BLIND BUY WORTHY

I'm enjoying this scent. I sort of felt it has some similar vibe with Benetton's Dream Big with the white floral notes which are in the middle. It is definitely different though in the nectarine citrusy opening and base notes. But the dry down of this one is charming. I really smell all the notes coming out as it dries. I feel the vanilla or musk in the base can also be amped up if combined with other vanilla fragrances. I accidentally sprayed a vanilla bath and body mist after I put this one on my skin and the vanilla at the base was further intensified. Overall I think this is a suitable everyday scent or a nice scent for casual outings or even to wear lightly to bed. It doesnt project too much but i live in a tropical country so it may amp up in the heat.

Got this for a steal at Ross. My review is based on using 4 sprays. While I see how others can compare this to Marc Jacobs honey I definitely see the difference between the two. On my skin this comes across more like fresh cut fruit drizzled with honey. There is some floral in the background but it really doesn't become similar to MJH until around the last hour. That is when I lose the fruits and start to really get the honey and floral scent. It is very pretty. Longevity: 6-8 hours Sillage: Arm's length until around the 7th hour Recommend: Absolutely Blind Buy safe: I always recommend sampling first but it could be a safe blind buy if you like these particular notes. FB worthy: Yes Repurchase: Probably not. I already have plenty of honey fragrances.

Summer. 35°C. The end of a holiday in Cyprus and faced with over a year of never seeing the stunningly blue sea and palm trees again. Then, in the tax free shop an offer to buy 2 50ml perfumes for 50 euro. Bought one my sister liked and then this one. I normally research all perfumes I buy, and think on them for months before committing. But this one happened upon me. Sweet, light and the embodiment of summer. Not too heavy, nor too sweet, but not powdery either. The main smell is a soft honey, which slowly shows more fruity notes, without ever becoming really fruity or cloying. It's quite ageless, I got away with it, but so did my 50+ mom on whose skin it sat perfectly as well. A lovely reminder of soft summer evenings.

Opening notes on me are a very strong Lily of the Valley & a hint of Beeswax; I don't detect any fruity or solar scents. Between one & two hours there's nothing but Lily of the Valley.... just as well I like Lily of the Valley. After two or so hours I am left with a really pleasant light scent of Beeswax, Vanilla, & the faintest hint of Lily of the Valley; no other notes are detectable. This perfume lasts about five to six hours on me & is not particularly strong, but it seems to be a fairly safe & inoffensive perfume for everyday wear in the not too hot UK Summertime or early Autumn.

...It has definitely been reformulated 🥲 The bottle has also been a bit changed, at least the bottle looks great, a little more updated, and now if it gives the impression of being what it is, a clean, fresh, fruity mango (yes, i know it has nectarine not mango but that is what i get🤷) fragrance, not at all a childish smell, it's more like smelling like expensive, fine, branded soap, proper duration for the price you pay for it. More than correct perfume for daily use, especially in summer where it prolongs the exquisite feeling of cleanliness and fresh out of the shower, 10/10 🥰

Blind buy on clearance at TJs...I am so happy I purchased this. I like it quite a lot. It is warm, golden, summery and light. To me it feels clean and happy ...an easy mood boosting fragrance. I like that there is not overwhelming citrus. I will say I do NOT find this to be honey intensive; rather, it’s more honey adjacent. Although that first spray is very honey forward. The bottle is pretty and substantial and fits the juice well IMO. I am hoping for a little more cedar and vanilla in the dry down, but overall a very pretty and easy daytime scent.

This smells like pure, fresh honey to me. I tend to amp honey scents (the honey scent in Chloe by Chloe is STRONG on me), but this definitely smells like honey. It is slightly floral as well, and the honey is not sickly, sticky, sweet but more of a fresh blossom one. This also lasts and projects decently well around me. The scent can be really strong though, I usually spray 4 sprays and I couldn’t with this, it gave me a headache. So 2 sprays on my arm would be plenty for me. Overall, this is what a honeybee would smell like as a person 💛

Looking at the notes on this perfume, I thought it would be a safe blind buy, and although I don't dislike it, I find, personally, that the mirabelle pretty much overpowers the other notes; I do get, from time to time, the beeswax but it is fleeting. I think that if plum or mirabelle are in any fragrance I use, they seem to amplify when sprayed on my skin. I have the same issue with Rihanna's Kiss (which works quite well) and Olympea Legend (which unfortunately combines with the apricot, to make a heavy, cloying and unpleasant scent).

A lovely true honey scent. I haven't worn this fragrance since 2021 but I just found the nearly empty bottle and it smells just as good as I remember it. It's not overly sensual but the musk and cedar ground the sweetness really nicely. I honestly can't remember how it performed when sprayed but I seem to remember getting wafts of it throughout the day, although I used to overspray like crazy. A bright, citrusy opening and a lovely warm honey dry down. It's amazing how realistic the honey smells on the skin.

The start is very juicy and nectar like. The domination of freesia makes it floral on me. I feel nectarine, the solar notes, neroli, jasmine and lily of the valley. The beeswax note is in the background but it is not prominent, barely detectable by me. In general I feel no honey notes here. The scent is similar in style to the other apple DKNY creations. After 8 hours it starts to remind me of Amor Amor. It feels a bit synthetic in its freshness. Fresh and juicy is the scent profile.

Be Delicious DNA but instead of the apple it’s Nectarine. Honey, Nectarine, Solar Notes, Mirabelle Plum and yellow Freesia are the most noticeable. Add a little bit woody vanilla in the dry down. Performs best in warm weather/hot weather. Edit: This doesn’t smell incredible on me like I know it smells on some other people. I think it’s due to the green apple DNA. It’s not listed as a note but clearly it’s there. Me and green apple just don’t get along :(

August 2018. Blind buy. Store is going out of business and this baby was 80% off. I’m laying it with a fragrance that has orange blossom at its heart. The two are working well together. I agree it is sweet smelling but not sugary or candy sweet. Enjoying the honey scent. Need a not more time with it. Right now it smells more like a hair care or body care product than a perfume. I may have to try something else to later with it.

In the opening I get mostly juicy nectarine, syrupy (but not sickly) sweet beeswax. It smells youthful, playful, fruity. After it settles I get floral notes - mostly fresia and jasmine. The scent gets more sophisticated tone. Don't expect any sort of seduction, that's not this category. But if you wanna experience somethine else, why not. It's not my style, but I really liked that. It's different and fun. To me 6,5/10.

I found this little gem at savers for £14 as it is discontinued in the UK and must say I like it. I have never smelled anything quite like it. After a short lived blast of unpleasant amber the lovely Chamomile and Honey settle in and make this a comfort smell, relaxing and sweet. Can’t do anything wrong perfume. Understated, quiet and endearing. Perfect for the office and crowd pleasing.

It is not that far from Be Delicious. There is an intense juiciness in the opening. The beeswax note pops up but it is in no way dominant. Sillage of it smells like shower or bath gel with juicy and fruity nuances. The bottle is adorable and I could not resist it. For the fans of Daisy and Donna Karan apples this is a nice treat. It has a very pretty musky finish with hints of neroli.

I tested it on paper. To me, it is a fresh citrus fruity floral musky scent. I didn't get the beeswax at all and I am so sensitive to it! Something made me happy when I smelled it for the first time. Now that I checked the notes, it could be the combo of solar notes and nectarine. However, the dry down is a generic floral musk. No vanilla. This is a forgettable fragrance imo.

I love the bottle and I love the way it smells in the dry down but when first applied on my skin it smells like dog and musky grapefruit. After about 10 minutes that goes away and you’re left with a soft sweet slightly green musky floral scent. I probably won’t be reaching for this one much, but perhaps it smells better on clothing. Keeping it for the cute bee bottle 🐝 🍯

Sweet, honeyed white floral. A very pleasant scent to wear in the spring! I wish it were a little deeper with the honey note, though, like pure ambery wild honey. It is very nice, though!! Not totally my style but I’d pick this up over the majority of other white florals I’ve smelled. It doesn’t make me sick and it’s not cloying. 6/10
