Feels like i'm walking in the middle of Apple garden.. It's a Beautiful Day....

OK so I just got this in the mail this past weekend. Now, this may seem strange to some of you but it's too feminine for me...and I'm a woman! I guess what I mean is that it doesn't fit my personality. I'm more boho chic (think Erykah Badu, Chrissette Michelle). I bought it because I wanted to challenge myself to step out of my fragrance comfort-zone. I tend to lean towards patchouli and sandalwood type notes or something in a chypre. This apple fragrance is heavy on the rose, man is it heavy on the rose! I don't smell much apple and I smell very little if any vanilla. Violet is hanging in there competitively with the rose as well. I'm sorry its not for me. I'll probably give it to my sister or someone else into these types of fragrances and I'll stick with my fragrance comfort-zone.

Can't tell you disappointed I am with this! From start to dry-down all I smelled was chemicals: Chem-apple, chem-vanilla, etc. Ugh.

For the bottle, NO COMMENT^^ For the no-comment bottle I long threw this sample near the paper bin for I have the impression of another tiresome gourmand sweet thing bra bra... Before it reaches its thrown away I finally spend time to take a look... Oh! My... This is Maurice Roucel@@ And it's no gourmand nor sweet, it's delicious for the delicate honey dropping from violet's lip and the loveable apple, nature and real. I agree all the positive reviews about this frag, not only this is Master Roucel's sweetie but also it's an apple in its beautiful violet-shade dream beyond this mad mad world. Escape from the gourmand domination and reject all those toothache sweetness, dream of a beautiful simplicity after forgetting it is actually in the bottle^^"

Ermmm this version was a bit Britney's Fantasy kind of smell... But not really the same thing. It's fruity, musky-powdery & vanilla. No hint of red apple for my opinion... But still it's great scent for evening wear, cold day, parties, weekend or just having a good day with this scent. Different from the green one, same great projection & longevity. The lil' apple charm that comes with both version was cute when you put them together.

The apple at first is quite nice but doesn't last long. After that I got mostly a freesia sort of violet (not the soft/powdery type I expected), if that's the best way to phrase it. There's a hint of rose, vanilla, whatever, but not enough to make this of interest to me. I'll try it again, but after that it goes on the swap list if I don't get something a lot more interesting the second time around!

I usually love the apple line but this one sadly does not induce happy thoughts. It smells exactly like a discontinued fragrance of VO5 shampoo. I think they did a newer version of it but I really don't want to smell like shampoo all day long. It's a great smell out of the shower but you can't go out smelling like you still need to rinse off. I am so bummed by this scent.

i've got it today... its a blind choice, and it like that i think before. A very delicious apple.. red apple. and vanilla, flowery. i spray it in the night, and i'm hungry.. LOL. Love it. Just like it names "Delicious Charmingly" 8/10.

more sensual than be deliciou red, more rounded. and the base notes are sweet, like sweet apple. i don't like vanilla, but it performances very well in this perfume coz it could bring out the soft, warm scents.

my bottle is the same shape with silver lid and translucent red glass got it off ebay it smells awesome its my favourite lasts all day can find it anywhere now :(

I find it really playful and comfortable.Apple note is really delicious and as crystal said it perfomances very well with vanilla note,a flowery gourmand perfume.
