Really lovely, musky and your skin but better perfume. It reminds me of my beloved Papier by Diptyque (it has certain warm feel) Perfect for everyday and office.

In the first moments, I am transported back to a 1980s bedroom, just as everyone is ready to go out. The fug of hot curling tongs and VO5 hairspray (the old, glorious, ozone-depleting version) sitting over a waft of Body Shop White Musk. It's the smell of youth's limitless enthusiasm and optimism. That heady rush of teenage abandon fades to a lovely balance of iris and violet over a soft, non-animalic musk. Here, the swirl of ambroxan and iso e super react however your brain interprets them. Like the teenage you, about to venture out into the night, you get to choose your very own adventure.

A transient yet pleasant scent, resembling those molecular-like fragrances that oscillate between presence and absence. We are all familiar with this scent profile at this point, the typical subtle, iso e, ambroxan, powdery, skin scent, resembling the likes of skin and body lotion. This, however, is one of the better ones. Two fragrances come to mind, when I smell this: Tom Daxon's Iridium and Arquiste's Peau. I like it alot.

Truly beautiful musky-iris scent with contrast of green angelica. Definitely for a skin-scent lovers. A bit more feminine to me. I would really love if my partner would wear this to bed

Its molecular scent which smells like Molecule 01 but warmer? Its unisex, for every occasion, opening is very mild, so if u like molecular skin scents its up there

It’s there, then it’s gone. Iso e super, ambroxan, maybe some helvetolide? No iris, but a trace of leathery violet leaf and spicy cumin. Warm and inviting. But it’s not for me as a scent admirer... I can’t smell it on myself at all, unless I poke my nose right into the skin. It’s a calming ambiance for the people sitting next to me. My man says it’s also musky, dark leathery and unlike anything else

Extremely soft powdery/musky skin scent. Honestly even over spraying, I could barely smell this. Of what I can smell, it’s pleasant but nothing original. I certainly can’t imagine spending AUD300 on this.

Ambroxan and Iso E Super with a touch of iris. Feels sterile, maybe even a touch metallic.

This is like l’eau papier but swap up papiers rice with citrus. I dont care for either

This is a strange one. I can honestly say I have no idea what I’m smelling. It’s somehow screechy, but without florals or citrus. It’s a skin scent, but it’s almost as if I’m smelling a fume of some sort. It’s a bit atmospheric, a little industrial, a tinge of aftershave. It vaguely reminds me of the opening of Inflorescence without the follow through. If I put my nose too close to my skin when I smell it, it actually burns a bit. I truly cannot tell if I like it or not. I would say it leans a bit masculine but is wholeheartedly unisex. It’s very different, very strange.

I am more or less nose blind to ISO E Super, so i can’t really say much about the dry down. I am not overly impressed of what I can detect. I had high hopes about this one, but find it quite boring. A bit citrusy and rubbery, that’s it. Unisex. Those who are able to smell ISO E Super and Ambroxan, and like them, will probably enjoy this one! Just not for me.

The iso and ambroxan are overdosed and very chemical-smelling. If I smelled this I wouldn't even think it was perfume - I'd think it was some strange scented hospital disinfectant. Or maybe it smells like hairspray? I can see how it's similar to l'Eau Papier but it's a bad version and doesn't have the smoothness and warmth of that one.

Top note is fresh and pleasant, but it’s too normal like a luxe shampoo. The basic note smells like pee. :(

All I get is alcohol here, sadly. Disappointed cause it sounded like it’d be lovely.

A contrast between an iris/violet accord and warm woody amber. Like drying off by purring warm blow dryer after getting caught in the cold rain. As synthetic and linear and basic as this one is, I personally enjoy it. SL L’orpheline and Nasamotto Blamage both disappointed me by seemingly altering formulas sometime between first sampling and trying a full bottle. So I am always on the lookout for this kind of abstract fuzzy musky woody amber scent with that special something. This is a contender. 3.5 out of 5.

I wanted to love this one so much, but I just don't. I cannot get past the lemony opening. It smells like a cleaning product to me. The other notes are right up my alley, but unfortunately I never get to experience them b/c the lemon leaf opening takes over and makes me want to scrub it off. If it didn't have the lemon leaf, I honestly think I would love this fragrance. I give it a 5/10.

This is a beautiful take on an amber-y skin scent. There is a green and citrusy quality that perfectly pairs with the purple florals and synthetic musks at the base. It is softer than a close counterpart Apres L'Amour by Thomas Kosmala, which I find overbearing.

Totally disagree with the note votes. The lemon blossom is POTENT! ISO E super, ambroxan, lemon blossom and THEN iris. I wish the iris and violet were more potent in this one. I love all D’orsay fragrances. They are just a house that speaks to me.

Very light, very elegant. Very romantique, perfect for date nights. It is very feminin, but i would be thrilled to sniff it on a gentleman.
