It's insanely perfect! This smells like a combination of Le Labo 10 and Maison Louis Marie No.4. So damn goooooood ever! It's cosy, woody, even slightly vanila, which is in a lovely way. Super likable and unisex for sure. I'm gonna have another full bottle. U guys no joking, just try it out!

This one is very peppery and reminds a lot of Replica Autumn Vibes with less balsamic notes. The juniper in the beginning is very nice! and I do sense some cedar, cypriol oil and ambergris. But its a very light fragrance that doesn't last long on the skin. Still love it though!

Lovely spicy palo santo scent; smells very natural. Quite unisex - I was worried it would be too masculine, but it didn't give me that impression at all. Doesn't last insanely long, but I got a good hour or two out of it which is good enough for me!

Similar to Santal 33 but with all of the green and creaminess removed. The wood here is warm and dry but not smoky. Sexy and truly unisex. I want up say it leans feminine but that’s mostly because I’m a femme who likes to wear it.

In my opinion, it smells like a pencil—specifically, the scent that comes from sharpening a school pencil. I like it because it feels familiar and easy, a fragrance that works well, especially during the colder months. It would make a lovely gift for a teacher! 😊 En mi opinión huele a lapicero, me recuerda al olor que se produce al sacar punta a un lapicero escolar. Me gusta porque me parece un olor fácil, reconocible, algo que se puede usar en época fría principalmente. Sería un buen regalo para una maestra ;D

A really nice woody scent, quite cuddly and comforting. The pink pepper gives it a slight sharpness, and the overall creamy sandalwood mixed with green aspects of bamboo leave to be fresh. I definitely feel the cedar shavings, but it is so unisex that I don’t bother with this common men frag ingredient. Highly recommend to sample! EDIT: upon further wearings I feel a smoky palo santo, like the first couple of seconds when you just burn palo santo sticks. Very autumn-inspired scent!

The opening is like a smoker freshening his breath with a stick of mint gum. Underneath is pencil shavings and then the drydown is reminding me of Santal 33’s flaccid sandalwood. Not the most interesting or memorable by Bertrand Duchaufour. 2 out of 5.

Fresh woody-spicy scent. Uplifting, good for autumn mornings. Unisex but probably leans slightly masculine. Very soft performance.

If you're looking for a palo santo fragrance that smells the way the wood you burn in your house smells, look no further than D'Orsay MD. The aromatic, fresh, juniper scent is added to this fragrance giving it a sparkly freshness that is both modern and cool. Gorgeous, gorgeous, juniper and palo santo woody fragrance from BD! The man knows how to do gourmands and apparently also feminine woody fragrances. I love everything from this line, tbh! I think I've found my Maison!! THIS IS MY KIND OF PERFUMERY! It only took several hundred bottles and countless hours of YT channels for me to get to where I'm at in my perfume journey. Maison Violet and D'orsay are ALL I want to wear now. I think I'll be selling my massive collection soon and reducing to just these and a couple stars from Quentin, PDM, Maison Crivelli, and Guerlain.

The opening is beautiful and feels like a fresh and dewy wood with lightly aromatic vegetal elements and some smoke. The bamboo and juniper must be lending that "juicy" green edge that I like, along with the pink pepper which also adds a fresh-spicy and slightly floral hue to it all. Unfortunately it dries down rather quickly to a quiet and predictable soft sandalwood with tinges of smoked woods and a glimmer of the stemmy organic plant-like aroma that made it interesting. While it's still nice these soft, creamy, woody scents feel very plain and don't have a lot of character. There's not much depth here and I feel like I could buy this for cheap at Urban Outfitters. I think Tam Dao would be a better choice.

Amazing woody scent! I love woody, especially when like this it's wood chip freshly cut sawdust kind of scent. Just a smidge herbal, just a light touch sweet, and there is something in there that is a bit leathery maybe? Maybe the pepper and cedarwood, but overall great, realistic woodchip and a little leather and spice. Very unisex, nothing chemical, better than santal 33 imo although im not a huge fan of that it smells chemical to me.

It’s mostly a nondescript woody thing that seems to be a combination of Palo Santo and Sandalwood. Then a green element surfaces that appears to be the bamboo. Nothing exciting, totally feminine leaning and cloying. Think Papyrus Molecule or Santal 33, but greener and even more feminine.

A Palo Santo forward fragrance with a "cool spicy," incense-y, molecular feeling. You get elements of all of the listed notes. It's sort of hard to smell nose to skin, but I can catch it strongly wafting all around me. It's pleasant but nothing to write home about.

I shall be the unpopular opinion here, but need to share - I can’t get past the opening scent here - which very unfortunately reminds me strongly of horse droppings.... I get similar reactions to rather offensive smells with most D’Orsay perfumes, alas....

opening is herbal smells like a spicy santal 33 after a few hours. quite a clean scent, not too powdery, clears my mind. I wouldn't wear this but wouldn't mind if my boyfriend did

It surprises me that ppl find this one so woody, to me it’s more green, fresh and spicy, it’s what I imagine what the inside of a cactus smells like
