Ambery Cherry

Oh my gosh I was not expecting to love this. I haven't tried TF yet, so I can't speak to it's accuracy, but I might have to actually get a bottle of this. I was disappointed at first spritz, because it starts off very smoky and almost incense like, which I don't dislike, but where was the cherry? After a few minutes, the cherry/almond notes really took center stage. I'm really not a fan of overly sugary notes, so I love that it's a rich dark cherry instead of a cheap candy cherry scent. Now, a couple hours later, it's mainly a lovely warm almond, but there is still a cherry or plummy edge to it that is very pleasant.

I did smell Lost Cherry a few times, but do not own it to do a side by side. However, from the memory, they are very close. I get super strong and addictive sweet Cherry-plum smell. Not even a tiny bit “medicinal”, not at all juvenile or “candle like”. The smell is rather heavy and evening leaning (so does the original). But for dates or special occasions - it is great. I use around 10 sprays, can feel it on me for around 5-6 hours, after it fades more of a skin scent. Probably if you spray less you can get away with day wear, but I suspect that then it will fade faster

I’ve had my bottle for going on two years and it gets better with age. Most dupes or less expensive knocks tend go sour in a year. Dossier for sure has made this work. It’s not Tom Ford or Killian but if you’re looking for a softer less kick in the face version this absolutely hits the mark. In the fall I blends with Vanilla 28. Otherwise this is a great all year scent.

I have this and it definitely leans more feminine out of the bottle but dries down into what I would say is a sweet amber that is more unisex. I love it. It's heavy, bold and the longevity is (DAYS) no joke. I wear it on occasion but need to let it sit on me for a while to let it tone down. Nothing Dossier produces is bad. You can't really go wrong with a Dossier frag.

This was my signature scent for many years! A very sexy mature cherry. On me, it was sort of smoky and dark and boozy smelling. Not in the way that bad perfume just smells like alcohol, but a sexy bourbon almost smell to it? Not sure where that came from given the notes. But an amazing scent that lasted forever and had great projection. Very very distinct smelling!

This is my favorite cherry scent, I have smelt many a cherry scent in higher price points but this one is perfect. It doesn't have that mediciney cherry cough syrup scent so many other cherry fragrances have. It is soft and sweet and a perfect blend. I'm almost done with my first bottle and about to buy a back up. I love it, and got my bf addicted to it as well.

Oooh boy. I was surprised by how much I liked this. The name really says it all, amber and cherry with a lot of tonka. This is one I’m glad I got now so it can sit for a little while before it gets cool again. I’m ready to make this my signature for fall.

I tried this alongside the original, and this is truly a great dupe for both notes and performance. If cost for the OG is prohibitive, then I won’t shame ya fo getting this one as it’s a stunning cold weather fragrance!

love this scent, the freshness of the middle notes add a lot of complexity to the otherwise very heavy handed sweetness and gourmand of cherry and cinnamon.

I adore this fragrance. I absolutely love the cherry and almond notes. I wore this regularly for summer 24.

The only dupe in my collection - this smells basically the same as Lost Cherry to me and lasts longer.

This is super close to Lost Cherry for me and I'm very fussy with clones. Lasts ages too.

😳 You better hope you like this scent because it isn't going to completely dissipate from your clothing until you wash it out. Even synthetic fibers hold onto this smell for days! 😑 I sprayed a good, healthy dose on each shoulder 3 days/2 nights ago on a cheap polyester shirt, then got a piercing headache 😖 from the proximity, took the shirt off & headache went away. The next morning I tried again to wear the shirt and no luck, still too powerful & too close to my nose. On morning #3 I can finally wear this shirt again but the scent remains strong in very close proximity. 💥👃 Dossier's Ambery Cherry 🍒 is a potent, smoked cherry fruit scent. Very Gothic in profile without smelling of cough medicine. The "Ambery" tag in title is the same scent base as their other Ambery perfumes. Dark, dense with terpenes, sticky to clothing and delivers those molecules like bullets through your nose. However, the smokiness of this is intoxicatingly pleasant. Like a campfire made of cherry tree branches and glazed in cherry syrup. 5/10 Too potent though! Lasts forever on clothing but still very nice

this had been my favorite gourmand for close to a whole year, although over time it also has started to reek slightly of a more medicinal cherry to me, less yummy fruity and more kid's tylenol. this thing also gets polarizing reception; one friend emphatically responded to it with "that smells so good put more of that on right now" and made positive surprised faces and a separate friend insisted it was "too cherry" and made different, derogatory faces. not really fully sure what to make of it anymore. maybe ill fall back in love with it later

At first spray, I was disappointed because I was comparing it to Lost Cherry and something didn't quite seem right. However with subsequent sprays, and many uses now, I am so impressed by this. I think Lost Cherry has a little more power, but this is such a great perfume in and of itself. Great longevity, consistent delicious cherry scent. It's wonderful and recommend for anyone seeking out something cherry.

It's nice but it's not lost cherry, it's barely even cherry, I got more almond/cherry bakewell. Just not what I wanted, ended up returning this and going with maison Alhambras dupe instead for the real fruity scent

this is good! cherry is fun sweet and fun, doesn't last too long but this perfume develops into something more sweet and spicy. someone said i smell like cola in this! a good evening scent, playful and sexy.

Ambery Cherry smells, how picking the cherry off of your sunday and the moment you bite down on it tastes and feels. Or when you drain maraschino cherries and sip the thick juice! 7/10

A very beautiful cherry almond scent. It is somewhat similar to the Jergen's cherry almond lotion. So affordable and lovely.

amazing. not for everyone. not too feminine. somehow smells like beauty and sadness and sickness and hope all in one.

I wanted to love this soooo bad. Saw it Target but it was just not for me. It definitely smells like the OG, and its heavy on the cherry and almond. If that's your thing great but for me its very cloying and not my fav. Kinda makes me a bit nauseous. Maybe in colder weather I'd appreciate it more.

I wanted to like this a lot more! Unfortunately, the medicinal and synthetic cherry is way too much for me. This might be my least favorite cherry fragrance. I think Fruity Almond by Dossier meets my expectations for this scent a lot better!

Reminds me of something you'd catch a whiff off of the old ladies at a church function. Not my cup of tea, the clove/rose is very heavy and gave me a headache and the cherry was unrelentingly sharp. I compared this Oil Perfumery's dupe and found I prefer Oil Perfumery's version.

It's actually quite good. I think this could potentially irritate skin due to the cinnamon note, so be careful spraying directly on your neck/decolletage. I don't wear the original Tom Ford, so take my words with a grain of salt, but I feel like this is a high quality imitation. The fragrance isn't cheap smelling or cloying, it's just a cherry cinnamon fragrance, as promised. I am pleasantly surprised because I've grown quite picky about "cheaper" scents. This is worth blind buying. If you get it at Walmart, they have a pretty generous return policy.

I own both Dossier Ambery Cherry and Tom Ford Lost Cherry perfumes. My Dossier Ambery Cherry has mascerated for the last year and the juice has gotten darker. This is a spot on clone/dupe. I spray one on my left wrist and the other on my right wrist and there is absolutely no noticeable difference. If anyone tells you otherwise they dont own the original and are basing it off a memory of smelling the original. This is spot on and anyone who professes otherwise is a bitter liar.

this is my third attempt at an affordable TF dupe and it still doesn't cut it. people say "oh it gets you 94% of the way there," but that last smoky spicy boozy leathery 6%? is apparently magical. this is just a mildly pleasant cherry with some cinnamon and barely a bit of almond. it's not a RIPE cherry with those musky starting-to-go-bad overtones and definitely not worth $50, you can do better elsewhere.

It’s lovely. The other notes enhance and give more character to the cherry scent. Feels complex, on the sweet side but not edible. Unfortunately it does not project or last on me. It will be a nighttime fragrance for me. I am a little gun shy now about buying more dossiers if they don’t stick around longer than an hour.

smells like a maraschino cherry! 🍒 i struggled with the sharp almond note at first but the more i wear this the more my nose tolerates it. i’ve been wearing this a lot and layering it with other tonka based fragrances. i want to get a cola fragrance to layer with this next.

I like this scent, especially the leathery smell I get on the dry down. It mixes with the cherry and almond and reminds me of the inside of my mom's purse when I was a little girl, HOWEVER it sadly gives me a terrible headache.

Sexy, fruity, nutty, sweet, and tart. This pulls more compliments than most other perfumes in my collection. I prefer this over OG lost cherry because it lasts for hours and actually projects unlike most TF fragrances.

Smells amazing, great price point, lasts decently. However, makes my skin itch pretty bad. A definite buy if it didn't irritate my skin :(

I love It. Great dupe. It’s a Little “Thinner”’than the OG, but for the price it’s well worth it. Highly impressed

Better than the original and I own both. Dossier's version out performs TF's.
