Aromatic Star Anise

Ok everyone is different yes but I do love the Sauvage EDT DNA. This is as close as I have found to it and performance wise its close. $25? Dossier is slept on sometimes but their products have been good imo. I've tried Venetta, Magnificent Blue, Urban Man Elixir, Salvo and Salvo Intense and Dossier is the closest to the EDT. Lots of middle eastern clones are great sure, but you can literally go to Walmart and get this for $25 to $30 any time. Only difference is it dries down into a soapier vibe in a good way. Hardly noticeable unless you smell it up close.

I think this is a great fragrance, especially considering the value. The pepper, citrus, and sweetness combine really well, it just smells great. The performance is also solid; the projection is decent, but the longevity was impressive. I agree that it smells very similar to Dior Sauvage, so this would be a great value option for someone wanting that scent. Finally, the packaging is very solid and weighty, and the magnetic cap is a great touch. Overall, this is a fantastic fragrance and very affordable.

A fabulous clone of Dior Sauvage. Well worth the price, but more importantly, well worth the lower toxicity rating it receives, due to cleaner, more transparent ingredients. IMO, this fact alone makes it better than Dior’s formulation. 5/5

very very different from Sauvage. less synthetic smell and lasts super long. My girlfriend loves it too.

Of course, I am adding my opinion like everyone and their grandma! This scent works on me. I find the dna of Dior's Sauvage to be enjoyable. It has a reputation, but if you give it a shot and really own what you like, really own it, it's superb. A lot of hipsters will hate on it, but this happens in coffee and heavy metal subgenre crowds. First impressions: I bought this as a blind buy, because I like Sauvage, go figure, right? I get powerful spice, but without the cloying aspect of the OG Sauvage's polarizing beginning. Like any Norma Jean song, for example, you just have to wait a minute after the noise and then appreciate the masterpiece. The citrus, lavender, and amberwood all settle in to play their crescendos at the right time. It is a show to enjoy. Sprays? 4 sprays. I sprayed on the back of my neck, one on my chest, one on my arm and one on my shirt. I could smell this for 4 hours and the dry down for a few more. I guess this is considered a lower amount of sprays, but I don't see the need to spray so much, especially knowing we get nose-blindness. Gender? I lean towards the idea that this suits men well. Price? I think this is a no-brainer for the price. $28 for 1.7 oz is a solid price per spray ratio. The cost of Sauvage is overpriced and this is such a close dupe, that unless you are a hipster, you will not notice. Rating? I give this an 8 out of 10. It would be a 9 out of ten, but I think the transition to dry down in the OG Sauvage is smoother and a tad more luxurious...but barely! This could be sweeter, that's what this is missing. Don't sleep on Dossier. I own two of them now, and they are fantastic!

So I just bought this today at Target. It was on clearance for $15 for a 50ml. I was hesitant about buying it because I read the negative reviews on here beforehand, but I asked them if I could return it even if I opened the box and they said yes. I'm not sure what the other reviewers were smelling, but on my skin this smells very close to Dior Sauvage. Ironically, before I bought this at Target I went to the Ulta store next door and I sprayed Sauvage EDT on one hand and Sauvage EDP on the other because I was thinking about buying the EDP at my Sam's Club for $120 for a 100ml. The new batches of Sauvage are VERY WATERED DOWN and I don't feel they are worth buying. They are no longer beast mode fragrances. The Dossier is also light, but I would say on par or even slightly stronger than Sauvage. I'd say the opening of the Dossier is similar to EDT Sauvage, but in the dry-down it moves towards the EDP. I recommend doing 2 sprays in each spot. For only $15 and a magnetic cap I can't complain. I'd say if you asked people who are familiar with Sauvage to smell you and guess what you're wearing 99% of them would say Dior Sauvage. That's how close the Dossier scent is. If you're looking for another great fragrance that is similar to Sauvage EDT with more intensity I would recommend Armaf Hunter Intense.

Very good for the price. A cheap affordable cologne that I could recommend to any male starting up their collection from the beginning. Smell wise, very versatile in my opinion. While I think it could do better in the Spring, it smells great in the winter. Only downside to me is the sillage isn’t that great. It’s low and leans more towards intimate. But it makes it appropriate for going to the office or school and not smelling like a perfume counter. Longevity was actually really good for a dupe. We’re talking like 12 hours on the skin, roughly (though the sillage drops significantly by then). Overall, not bad at all for a $20 fragrance. Sort of a daily driver for me when I’m in dense public setting and not trying to give everyone around me a headache. My girlfriend loves the smell though (to be fair she bought it for me, so she’s a little biased).

A legitimate dupe of Dior Sauvage and it does fairly well with the duplication. I sprayed this on my clothes as it fades off my skin within 3 hours. The smell starts of strong and fades quickly. At its semi-affordable price point and obtainability ( Got it from Walmart), carry it around and spray throughout the day. If you order from the manufacturer's website, I strongly recommend you look for a stronger silage version of this cologne called " extreme". The floral notes are there and so far, I received a compliment. A solid 3.5/5 Pros - perfect duplication, affordability and obtainability & good safe packaging Cons- Very low silage , more sprays will deplete the 1.7 oz bottle, which could harm the affordability.

I have the OG Dior Sauvage and when I say that this is so close that people really do mistake this fragrance for the OG. I purchased this just to see how close it is to the OG and I'm pleasantly surprised. I wear this one on regular errands days and I keep the OG for special occasions.

When you first spray it, it’s very spicy, but it turns into more of a clean and masculine scent, and the spice starts to fade. It’s a tiny bit sour on me when it dries down.

I like it, not as strong nor synthetic as Sauvage

This one was actually quite pleasant. It's light and inviting. I don’t find it similar to Sauvage at all (a fragrance I strongly dislike), but this smells much more tolerable and easygoing. It’s nothing groundbreaking, but it’s a nice, simple scent, and I wouldn’t mind smelling this on a man.

Very close to the OG Sauvage, but lacks in longevity and sillage, however, still a great scent if you reapply throughout the day.

I've smelled the other Dossier clones from testers and this one is the least accurate, there are a bunch of weird notes in it that make it smell off and offensive - they are almost like cleaning chemicals, not a big fan and I would not recommend paying 25-30 bucks when you can get a real EDT dior sauvage for $80-90 from Sams Club or online discounters. Or even the other dupes/clones that cost less and smell way more similar (Armaf Ventana) for $18 or Afnan Modest Pour Homme for $25.. THE only bonus is that it does last long so if you like the smell then that's the only good thing about it - but this is only like 50-60% Sauvage DNA - it only smells like it in the beginning then the drydown starts smelling like soap

This almost smells more like Prada Luna Rosa Carbon to me. By the way that's a very good thing. It definitely has that sauvage DNA (and carbon gets compared to that quite a bit) but it has almost a coal or I guess just carbon type smell to it. I personally much prefer carbon to sauvage so I find that to be very good. I really can't figure out what it is it just has that same earthy coaly smell to it that carbon does. Definitely a good clone if you're looking for something in that range.

I feel crazy because I cannot smell the star anise at all! It's a pleasant scent but lacks projection. I have not smelled the frag it is a dupe of so I cannot compare it. It is a nice clean smell though without being the classic "clean smell", I use it on pillows lol

Not super close to sauvage, but in a good way. Smells very close to a forest type of vibe. Opening could be described as a little bit weird, but the dry down is quite pleasant. Lasts 6 hours on my skin
