Floral Honeysuckle

Went to Walmart randomly one morning to buy plants with the husband and decided to take a stroll down the self care aisle and then also decided I wanted to find a good summer scent and started to spray everything I could on my arms lol I tried mostly Dossier scents and this one was by far my favorite (surprisingly liked the wood sage and sea salt inspired scent as well - but that’s a separate review). By the time I tried this one the only spot I had left was the top of my hand and I found myself smelling it all day. Everyone’s body chemistry is different of course, but on me this scent lasted until I showered that night and that was after multiple hand washes and playing outside with my toddler and even survived washing a few dishes before the shower. To me this is a perfect summer scent. It’s like the best of everything it’s sweet, floral, touch of I’m assuming greenness to keep it light and fresh without coming off soapy, it’s light enough to not give me headaches or make my stomach turn after a while but projects enough for me (haven’t done a full wear to be able to tell) I will definitely be purchasing this and recommending at least giving it a test.

This is honeysuckle. It truly does smell like honeysuckle (to me)! Most "honeysuckle" perfumes only really give jasmine. It's dupe for Gucci Bloom, but in my opinion it's done better. Gucci Bloom has a bit more of a spicy verdant smell at first, the Dossier version tones that down and gives bit more sweet floral, but the green is still there. It lasts a while on my skin, throughout the work day so 8 hours about. When it fades, it smell more like how Gucci Bloom does when it sits on my skin. Low sillage, I would think you'd smell it in a hug. Not something you'd smell on yourself all day unless you get your nose right up to your skin. Like others have said, that's not a bad thing! I mention wearing it daily, but it has shifted into my bed time fragrance. Night is when honeysuckles smell the most so it brings me back to late spring early summer nights anytime of year, and without having to wreak ecological havoc on the north american continent!

I've been searching for a Honeysuckle scent to keep in my collection. I tried Demeter Honeysuckle first and it was too fresh and bitter for me. This Dossier fragrance is just perfect for me. All I can smell is sweet Honeysuckle, maybe a bit if tuberose. It's simple and sweet enough for someone like me, who adores Pink Sugar and all things intensely sweet. I've only had it for a day so I'm sure once my nose gets used to it, things might change as far as sillage and longevity. But it lasted all day until the next day and had a strong sillage for at least an hour, then calmed down a bit. I had other Honeysuckle perfumes I planned to try but now I'm not even sure if I should, or if I should just quit while I'm ahead and buy 5 bottles of this instead.

A superrr successful 30$ blind buy. It's all fresh white flowers with the realistic honeysuckle blossom sweetness and a tiny bit of green. The tuberose/subtle powderiness doesn't lean old lady to me at all; its very delicate and feminine and lacy. I find myself reapplying halfway throughout the day, and I think the high quality of the perfume and the value makes it totally worth it. I can see this working on a young early 20 somethings woman to someone into their 50s/60s. Lovely and refreshing and versatile. I don't get much of the vanilla at all, though.

I’m wearing Gucci Bloom right now, and I wish it were the Dossier version. When Dossier gets it right, they really knock its out of the park. Not all of their fragrances are my first pick over the original - but this one is. This is linear, for sure, and it isn’t my typical scent profile. But it is so special. I feel special when I wear this - like a classy woman, even when I’m just home washing the dishes. This fragrance, the Dossier dupe for Gucci Bloom (and not the OG), is one of my most favorite fragrances!

Floral Honeysuckle was such a surprise to me! I was not anticipating how much I would love it! It is such a deliciously sweet floral bouquet that is wrapped up in a warm, cozy vanilla, and gives such a happy, safe, beautiful vibe! It is in my top five from Dossier, and would be an excellent addition to everyone's collection as a floral vanilla sunshine scent!

veryyyyy close to the original Gucci Bloom. Maybe not as heavy or long lasting, but that's not necessarily a bad thing. it isn't as deep as the OG, with Floral Honeysuckle being more green and fresh. With that being said I am more than happy to wear it, it's close enough to Gucci Bloom for me to feel that comfort i get wearing the original.

I tested this and Goutal's honeysuckle fragrance Le Chevrefeulle against the actual honeysuckle flowers in my garden today. This was super realistic and really smelled exactly like the real flower.

This is one of the few dossier scents I really like! Warm, sweet, and floral. Definetly not very long lasting, but still smells really good.

Got it for a steal on clearance, love it!

Scentmojis: 💛🌼🌾🌱👡 Excellent dupe of Gucci Bloom! I've been very impressed with everything I've gotten from Dossier so far! This fragrance (and I'd say the same for Gucci Bloom) is a nice, linear floral. Honeysuckle and jasmine. There's not a lot of note progression or a big difference between the head notes, heart notes, and base notes. And it fits the name--this is decidedly floral and nothing else. It's a very honest floral, though. Some floral perfumes can smell like they're imitating flowers . . . this one smells like actual, real flowers. Like if you stuck your nose into a bouquet--that freshness but also that peculiar heady earthiness of real flowers. The nice thing about this fragrance is that it's daytime, it's not too in-your-face or distinct. Its personality leans more toward spring and summer but I wear it in winter, too, and I would describe its vibe as easygoing-yet-professional. Not a party girl perfume--more of an introverted office worker perfume (in a good way! Think Pam Beesly from The Office).

This is nice. Very similar to Gucci Bloom. This Dossier replaces the magical humid green opening of Bloom with more of a rounded lactonic white floral. I do not detect any vanilla here- which is a relief! The original DNA of Gucci Bloom has a natural floral quality that keeps it far away from any sort of gourmand. Dossier's Floral Honeysuckle aims for a similar effect- albeit from a more affordable, less dynamic angle. I get a creamy linear honeysuckle supported by jasmine and a powdery whisp of orris and tuberose. Like many of us, the original Gucci Bloom is our preference (and the Profumo Di Fiori flanker is the best variety of tuberose witchcraft) however- Floral Honeysuckle is beautiful, VERY wearable and appealing to many; and will sit proudly on my shelf as my daily dose of white floral until I can splurge on another bottle of it's predecessor again. Soild, chic, and delightfully breezy. Well worth the value!

starts out with a very realistic honeysuckle note, then quickly tuberose takes over. if you really sniff deeply, that tuberose instead of being flanked with a softly smokey iris is flanked with a weird chalky, synthetic scent. It's a very good, floral but not sweet fragrance, but you have to be able to live with that weird chalky-synthetic undertone. It's not overly disturbing, but it's there - hence why it gets merely a Like from me and not a Love. Edited to add: I have not smelled the original this scent is inspired by. I just think this is a pretty good (but not head over heels amazing) scent in itself.

It's okay. I smelled it at Walmart so there's that. It's VERY WHITE FLORAL. I would expect this to be on an old lady, there's not much bright here, and it's not *awful*... But the name is pretty wrong (I was not met with any impression of honeysuckle) and it smells pretty cheap. Like this made me think of my Mammie (I'm sorry Mammie but you always smelled like the cheap sprays). It's not bad, but I was disappointed because of the honeysuckle in the name. It's not present enough to count, imo. I think you could layer this maybe but I wouldn't do a big spray unless you're going for old lady vibes.

I got this as an Easter gift from my mom, and I put it on right after I opened the box. I took a shower about half an hour later, and I could still mildly smell it on my wrists. It's very powerful after a spray but gets closer to the skin after about an hour or so. Its supposed to be a dupe for Gucci Bloom, and it really is! I'm usually very into gourmand and "childish" scents, but I honestly love this perfume. Wearing it makes me feel exactly how another review described, easygoing-yet-professional. As if I just picked a bunch of flowers and rubbed them all over me.

When I first tried it I didn’t find the sweet spring floral I had hoped for but it has slowly grown on me, I have also found that you get more honeysuckle notes the longer it sits on your skin. After a few hours it cools down to a nice warm sandalwood. The longevity is really good with being too strong and is overall a very light and sweet fragrance.

Tester smelled like flowers that have wilted about a day or two ago. It has kind of an old library book scent to it after 15 minutes, and faded completely within 4 hours. This is a universally loved dupe for Gucci Bloom, but I really don't see how it could be, unless the original is also underwhelming. I haven't smelled Gucci Bloom so I'll update this review when I do. This perfume is really poorly blended in my opinion.

I love honeysuckle, but have yet to find a decent honeyscukle scent that doesn’t immediately give me a headache and/or stuffy old lady vibes. I immediately donated this one, although I shouldn’t have been surprised as I don’t enjoy Gucci Bloom nor Do Son.

Damn....I have to change my review on this one... I really do like the scent, however I must be allergic to it! I've never experienced this before. Whenever I spray it, I almost feel flu-like and super fatigued. It's such a shame because I've been wanting to try Gucci's Bloom forever and I always thought that Dossier was more of a "clean" perfume brand. I guess I was wrong. Happy to say though that I do have about 5 other of their perfumes and I do not react that way to them. There must just be some certain ingredient in this one.

I love this but I wish it was even greener upon opening and cleaner/ muskier on the dry down. Comparing it to Gucci bloom, this opens up “sweeter” (not in a gourmand way) and less of a spicy floral. And that’s what I LOVE about Gucci bloom how sharp, spicy, and green it opens up. I’d say it’s abt a 90-95% dupe and some may say this is more well blended or “rounded” due to not having that spicy opening. But that’s what I love abt Gucci bloom, I need that indolic, green, spicy part of the flowers.
