Woody Coriander

Sandalwood is the main player in this one. If you're a fan of that note this one is a no-brainer. It smells like the original D&G The One EDT with more of the emphasis being on that sandalwood. Very solid, performs better than the original.

Weird story with this one, I got it some time ago and hated it. It was nothing but acrid and citrusy and harsh, the bottom of the dry-down had a very slight woody note but by that point it was barely perceptible. I put it in a drawer and mostly forgot about it, but sometimes would take it out and test it again, usually once again met with disappointment. Now, which must be 2 years later I reach for it and it smells great! This was the first time 'just let it macerate bro' actually worked for me lol Opening is an aromatic and biting mix of grapefruit and coriander - pretty synthetic and aggressive imo, but then it settles into a very pleasant calm dry-down of basil, woods, and tobacco. The cardamom/coriander/tobacco mix actually makes this remind me a good deal of Eau d'Ombré Leather by Tom Ford but it's a not as sweet and the performance isn't as intense, making this a lot more flexible. Decent silage with about 4-6 sprays, lasts about 5ish hours, so it's not a total performance bomb. I've never tried The One EDP so I'm not sure how it compares. It's a very pleasant scent, honestly a year-rounder imo but maybe a bit more suited towards colder temps. It's masculine but I think subtle enough to be unisex. As mentioned I love Eau d'Ombré Leather and find this to be a much more warm-weather appropriate version of that for a fraction of the price. I don't see it as the type of thing that's a attention-getter or stands out a ton, but it does really smell quite good regardless. I honestly think it'd make as a great subtle signature scent. In it's current state it's a solid 7.8/10

If you love Dolce & Gabbana The One for Men or Dolce& Gabbana The One for Men Eau de Parfum, this is one of the closest to smell like it. Despite it being a popular scent profile it doesn't get a lot of similar smelling fragrances. There are some but they might miss an aspect or two. Dossier Woody Coriander is nearly 1 to 1. If anything the main change is a slightly more sandalwood smell. If you need to get a Dossier, this is is a sure safe bet if you love The One.
