Wow, Fragrantica, this fragrance was at a 3.00 when I reached this page. It deserves a much higher rating — a 4 at the LEAST. The fruity, tart and fresh mix of apricot, lemon, apple, nectarine and neroli — and I swear there is some bergamot and a touch of vetiver — with the sweet musky tonka bean and the woodsy cedar is such a cheerful, lovely, sunny spring scent with surprising balance and depth. It has decent sillage — not in your face beast, just nicely present. A friend let me spray hers around dinnertime and I still could smell it on my skin the next morning, and it had stayed on my coat. I made a bee-line to Douglas to get my own bottle and reapplied and another customer was like “What smells so good?!” because, yes. Don’t be fooled or get all snooty by the fact that it is produced by beauty chain Douglas, nor by the friendly price tag: there is nothing generic or cheap quality about it. The ingredients are 99% natural for heaven’s sake. Vegan, too. The Neroli is Fair Trade sourced in Venezuela. I can side eye many a brand-name or even niche perfumery who don’t live up to such standards. Douglas hired someone who knows what they are doing and I wish they would give that perfumer credit. Celebrate Life is a hidden gem. If you love fruity, woodsy, musky fragrances like Bibliotheque from Byredo, Bitter Peach by Tom Ford, Apricot Privée from Flur, and even Maison Crivelli’s Hibiscus Mahajad this is a beautiful, happy, quality, kind to the wallet cousin. By the way this layers beautifully with another in the same Beautiful Story line from Douglas, the Bergamot/Patchouli/Mandarin notes of Live in The Moment, which once again Fragrantica grossly underestimates with a laughable low rating. Together they are a great alternative to Louis Vuitton Attrape-Rêves. Run don’t walk and wear this spring-ready, liquid joy with pride.

Wow i really like it! Its yummy apricot nectarine citrusy tart. This opens up very citrusely very similar to DG devotion and then settles down to be smthng like Biotherm Lenergie + Zadig Voltaire This is Her. Very easy sent i suppose a people pleaser. I think its a safe blind buy if you like citrus or apricot sweet gourmands. Upd: this perfume imo became worse with maceration - it became sweeter and denser like a sugary syrup, which is too much for my liking ( almost nauseating ) Sad, as I really used to enjoy it first 3- 4 months. I think it will be good for layering with sour citrusy perfumes or with not sweet flowery/rosy perfumes.

So underrated, even though it smells really good. You can smell the apricot and nectarine, the tonka bean makes it sweet and the lemon is there. I use it in late spring, summer and early autumn that's when it really comes into its own. I absolutely love it.

Super fruity and very sweet. Was one of my favorites this summer, I finished the bottle of course. Besides that, horrible longevity, I will look for something similar next!

The notes are promising but its very strong in apricot. On me it spells like the tie dye fruit roll upsl fruit by the foot or if you're in germany it smells like the Nature box melon shampoo. I wish there were more woods to give this a little more warmth. I wouldn't say it's a safe blind buy but if you like fruity fragrances you might like this.

This is such a fresh, juicy and happy scent! I really like it. Very natural. I do recommend this.
