Sea Thalasso

This fragrance is typically aquatic, but not cold, as we would expect for a perfume from this group. There's a particular warmth to it - just like your skin smells when you've just come out of the sea, the sun has burned you, but it hasn't completely evaporated the water. Warm skin, soaked in the sun and covered with droplets of sea water - that's it. The other thing that impressed me is the particular eroticism that this seemingly simple fragrance exudes. Aquatic fragrances are usually distant and cool, but this one is sensual, carnal and inviting - you want to touch, inhale, rub like a cat, burrow into it. In short - it smells like sea and sex. Carefree, flirtatious, frivolous and pleasantly empty-headed - does not leave lasting memories, does not shake, but delivers such a playful pleasure. One of my favorite summer scents!

I tried many marine perfumes from mainstream and niche. But this one is the winner! Love for summer. Sparkly, a bit citrusy. In a heat it nicely lingers around. Longevity not bad. Best 30 € spent.

This is strange but wonderful. I get almost none of the flowers. On me, this is some dry, seaborne piece of cedarwood that whafts Ambroxan and traces of Jasmine. It is bewitching and un-girly and I love it. Sillage surprisingly good and staying power a solid eight hours. I presume it will be more of a skin scent on some people because it could be mistaken to be a peculiarly intoxicating body odor. It is very different to SJP Stash (which I adore) but they inhabit the same fragrant corner, somehow, because they are both so far removed from the fruity-flowery-vanilla-scorchers and still manage to be utterly feminine. Having said that: this will be lovely on the right person, regardless of their sex. Maybe I like it so much because it makes me feel adventurous and relaxed at the same time. I imagine this will be even better in summer but won’t be surprised if that’ll be when the flowers seep out.. A huge thumbs up from me and a safe blind buy for reckless persons. Edit: when I say body odor, I mean the good fresh outdoorsy human kind! Not the horrific slob kind of bo! Edit 2: am just about to go & get my third bottle of this. This has become my go to of happy-cool fresh but no cologne - summer smells, and, yes, the flowers amp up in warm weather but they remain subdued. It is more seabreeze than florist‘s. + AMBROXAN! Yes!

I love this fragrance in summer. It gives me positive vibes. I use it when I’m stuck at home during the Covid-19 pandemic, and i feel I smell like being outdoors, on a Greek beach perhaps. It’s considered unisex on the website, and I can imagine it on a man because of it its fresh clean notes. I think it can be a good gym fragrance too. The one I have is Douglas Home Spa - Seathalasso, EDT. Not Douglas Beauty System Seathalasso as mentioned here. The bottle color is more turquoise than blue, and it doesn’t have seashells in the cover, although it’s 100 ml bottle. My size doesn't include the cap with the shells that, let's face it, it is a marvel. Never mind! Sea Thalasso gives a holiday and beachy imprint if sprayed over my simple flowery scents. Perfect alone after a shower, without the intent of true perfuming, just a light breeze, I feel on an atoll. Great as a layer.

This one's weird. It really does smell a bit like someone who's been marinaded in sunscreen and baked in the sun on a windy beach for a while. Something about it - the musky notes, probably - really fill the nose, and the florals give it an almost sharp, almost soapy scent. It's got character, it's memorable. I smelled it on someone else a while ago and immediately went "hey, I remember that one!" I got gifted a small, 20ml bottle of it as a teen forever ago, and that was a damnably poor choice: seathalasso smells pleasantly fresh with a gently sunburnt animalic tinge if *you* smell fresh, but if it has any BO to, uh, enhance? Oh boy, godspeed. So, y'know. Just the right thing for a teenager. It also lasts for a while on skin - and foreeeeever on clothes. Between that and another well-meaning gift that didn't agree with my body chemistry, I swore off perfumes for a good long while. Now, though? I'd love to get another bottle sometime. A fresh sea breeze, a hint of sunscreen on a lazy, hot summer's day and some cool, almost standoffish florals suddenly don't seem as intimidating as they did back in the day.

So...I have had my eye on this fragrance since it’s release (2012/2013) and I finally managed to find it online here in the UK (parfumdreams.com) for a great price. The seashells in the cap definitely caught my eye but like naneece and masako_30 have said, the cap doesn’t seem to contain the seashells anymore and the bottle is a turquoise colour and not blue. As fragrance is subjective and we all perceive scents differently, here is my take on this fragrance. I have fallen head over heels with this beautiful fragrance! To me this is not an aquatic, it differs entirely from every other aquatic I have ever smelt! Upon first spritz... I got an immediate blast of a camphor like note (eucalyptus) and thought of the original Brut! Maybe a strange observation but I was definitely getting that sweet camphor-like note that Brut has! I didn’t dislike this at all as I love camphor notes in fragrances! I had sprayed this on a fluffy hoodie and as the hours went by....I recognised another fragrance begin to peek through and the resemblance kept getting stronger and stronger the more this fragrance wore.... it smelt so very similar to my beloved “Ange ou Demon”!! And Ange ou Demon is far from an aquatic fragrance! I love the Thyme and Saffron notes in AoD, they give it a medicinal/herbal quality which somehow I am also getting in this fragrance!! I am scratching my head as to which notes are doing this? Possibly Orange blossom? Jasmine? It’s certainly not the aquatic or water lily notes! Whichever notes it is..... I will say that this is a deep, sensual and complex scent with depth! I am wearing this a cold but sunny winters day and it suits this weather perfectly, it’s snuggly and cosy but at the same time, I’m sure it’ll smell equally as lovely on warmer days too and may even intensify the notes. Not what I expected from an “aquatic” fragrance but I am most definitely not disappointed with what I got that’s for certain! Mesmerisa below me said it’s carnal and inviting and you want to burrow into it....I concur 100%. In the base it has the warmth of Sandalwood/vanilla/Tonka bean (which make AoD comparison for me even more concrete) Great lasting power on clothing and I’m so happy I blind bought this for an absolute steal. It’ll be getting much use in any season.

This realy takes me to the beach , A beautiful tropical white sanded beach with warm winds tingeling my skin and making waves in my hair, This has the fealing of Windy ocean , in the wind you can feal slightly cooled down notes of orange flowers , sea weed and seashells, It has a slight touch of salty sand aswell. but this isent to disturbing.There is also almost a feal of almond cream aswell ,it is the Heliotrop i guess ,a slight sweetnes that adds to it so it does not get to much sea salty. I cant realy detect all the other notes apart. This is a different take on the sea side perfume, it smells of salt and beach with a hint of flowers . I can realy see this work as a Spa scent creams, body wash and all

The bottle is nice with a decorative shell collection in the cap, but unfortunately the fragrance reminds me of toilet freshener... It's a pleasant scent, but not on the skin... The bottle will make a nice piece of decoration in the bathroom as well ;)

This is a nice powdery clean marine floral. A scent which smells simple, serene and nice but is actually more complex and interesting as I re-smell it. Tested on my hand... I am pondering buying it.

Salty a little bit;fresh cold .naive.not really perfume but pleasant body mist.
