A rather lovely modern floral woody musk, this unique abstract composition from DSD is a floral lovers dream. It opens with a beautiful hyacinth, gardenia and hints of cedar. As it starts to transition, one is struck by interesting synthetic powdery notes that include one that smells like paint and one that has a bubblegum like vibe. The perfume settles into a base of synthetic musk and sandalwood with hints of juniper and iris. The feminine leaning scent has moderate projection and good longevity. Lovers of unique florals must rush to acquire this one. Enjoy!

I had really high hopes for this, but I’m a bit disappointed. Imagine the smell of a sharpie, but make it powdery. It’s interesting, but I’m not sure if it’s pleasant. That’s the first 15 minutes, and then it settles into something nearly identical to Sweet Do Nothing, which I already own and adore, but I was hoping for something sufficiently different with Desert Paintbrush. Update: I bought the LA exclusive candle Pacific Mythic when it was on the website for a limited time, and it smells a lot like Desert Paintbrush! (Less similar to Sweet Do Nothing because the candle has DP’s chalky aspect, but still in the same vein) So if you like this, give that candle a try!

I'm sorry but this was basically 80% of his other I Dont Know what perfume. Like almost identical. I couldn't even pick out what made it different but it wasn't anything like spray paint or bubblegum. You're not missing out if you don't try this. Cute bottle, and I think decantplanet has decanted sizes. Definitely not a blind buy!
