This is a highly aromatic sage brush fragrance with some eucalyptus around the edges. It's the perfect fragrance to wear on Thanksgiving as it smells something like a nice sage gravy. I don't mean that in a bad way, it's just the scent memory that I got when I first sprayed it on. Very dry and herbal feel, which works well for my personal taste. Fun to see where this takes me as I spend more time with it. I love so many of DSM's fragrances...another great one here.

I have BOTH Homesteaders AND Longshoreman. I say that because this entry is labeled for Homesteaders BUT the photo is of Longshoreman. It'd be nice to seperate these so both have their own entry, since they are very different fragrances.

This is an excellent perfume. You can smell the high quality of the ingredients. It's defintly smoky and woody. I can smell some incense as well and herbal tones. I can also see why someone would compare this with a comme des garçons since it has that vibe but it somehow smells more refined and preppy if that makes any sense. Great Overall

I always wanted a bottle of this. Smelled it in a J Crew store once, I loved it but my gf hated it so I didn’t get it. Man I regret not buying this. If anyone has a bottle they’d like to sell please let me know.

Why no reviews? This is fantastic. Dry, resinous, no vanilla or any of the things that I expected to ruin it. Excellent hippie/incense and the dream of Juniper Ridge brought to life.
