Vanilla Chantilly

I have a sample of the VDP and definitely like it. Vanilla Chantilly is a cool vanilla. It's gourmand like a fine cookie coated in powdered sugar, though it's not a powdery perfume. I almost get an almond note that makes this smell very much like Serge Lutens Louve but without the powder. I think that's going to drive me to buy a FB of this over Louve because this is so much more affordable and pleasant overall. I'd go for the heftier EDP though, because .5 mL VDP splashed all over me has barely any sillage. It's also cold at the moment, so I'll wait to try this out in warm weather to see how it performs.

I came across this fragrance while searching for a milk scent. One reviewer mentioned that DSH Au Lait was too musky and perfumey to be a true milk scent and recommended Chantilly Cream instead. What a good suggestion! Chantilly Cream is the milky vanilla scent that I wanted. It’s soft and sweet without being sugary or foody or powdery. It doesn’t smell exactly like milk, which would probably be rather unpleasant in a perfume, but gives an impression of milky warmth. I’m very sensitive to musk and even though it’s listed as a note, I don’t really smell it and thankfully get no migraines from it.

Thought I reviewed this ages ago! Vanilla Chantilly is one of the most wonderful vanillas I have ever laid my nose on. I don't know how she did it. It smells like the purest, most luscious vanilla cream without being sickeningly sweet, synthetic, cloying. Very well-balanced somehow. If pregnancy hadn't ruined gourmand fragrances for me, I would own this one by now. It's a vanilla masterpiece, not one to pass up!

love love this perfume...in my opinion it is as good as spiriteseus double vanille. I'm still deciding which I like better. I get more longevity with vanilla chanilly. I also like this better then dsh vanille bourbon intense. still learning my way in perfume world but this is a excellent vanilla perfume

This literally exactly like the Oatmeal milk and honey fragrance oil I use in my handmade products. Edit: I definitely could smell vanilla in my 1st sample, but I got ahold of another sample & this one has way more vanilla, with a vague hint of the Oatmeal milk & honey scent.
