I received a sample of this in a swap (not remembering who, but thank you!!). This is what you would smell like if you took Bourbon vanilla from the bottle and used it as a perfume - but in a good way! Vanilla with a rich, boozy, syrupy undertone. Most excellent. I might want a full bottle when my Le Baiser du Dragon (amaretto) runs out, to satisfy my "liquor perfume" craving.

DSH Vanille wears very well, starts dry and powdery then develops vanillic sweetness within 3 hours. Very pleasant and calming. Just 2 sprays and 3 hours later wafts of it rise up as I move about.

The softest bourbon vanilla. I detect citrus upon application, and there is a slight floral aspect as it wears.

This to me smells like opening a tub of icing — powdery vanilla with some brightness thrown in.

This starts off as an uncomplicated boozy, bourbon vanilla/vanilla extract type scent then develops into a plastic doll's head vanilla, similar to Al-Rehab's "Soft." Not a fan, too synthetic for me.

"Vanille" starts sweet & nutty like "vanilla chantilly" and develops into balsamic sandalwood clay with hints of sweetness. Right after applying it on my skin (10 minutes in) I get the clay like vanilla with doses of sandalwood as heliotrope disappears at that stage leaving the blend clay like and hintly sweetened. An interesting take as I never thought that it will take that completely different direction when I first sniffed the top note.
