Potion for Women

I love this one. This is my confidence booster when I have an important meeting. I feel that this has a masculine tone and certain sharpness to it which softens over time. The blackberry and rhubarb are refreshing and a little sour, quite realistic. They also go well with the violet, the floral note that stands out the most, at least to my nose. The dry down is musky and powdery and leaves a nice trail behind. It's certainly different but I love it, especially since my mom gifted it to me! The bottle is also fabulous.

I love this. Its sweet and woody not what I imediatly expected from Dsquared. In the topnotes I can smell the blackberry, rose and violet very well, it blends nicely with the bergamot and whiffs of rubarb. It makes the opening of potion fresh but it doesnt stay that way. The dry down is warm, as the scent gets softer, I start to smell the patchouli, vanilla and amber. The scent turns from fruity to a bit oriental. When the scent warms on skin I like it more and more. I will definatly buy this scent its lovely

Gold bracelet - that's how i imagine this perfume if were a thing. Flowers with yellow petals mimosa or narcissus, I have a 30ml of this scent. Sweet perfume comes from blackberry and rhubarb, honey droplet is here to make it gentle and sunny like. Durability varies between 4 - 8 h. Depending on the skin. After some time you can recognize that this light sweet honey drops are vanilla, rose, and musk. All well mixed up. I most wear it when i want to be in romantic mood.

Just recently I tried this one at the drugstore and oh my it was a love at first smell. Vanilla with rhubarb is just awesome here. It smells so fresh and sweet at the same time. But never too sweet, it's just's a perfect amount of delicious. Longevity is great and after few hours it turns into something very different than in the beginning, it becomes very warm(but still stays fresh- don't even know how exactly is that possible?) My next buy for sure.

Potion by Dsquared looks like an old medical flacon of an injection and by thinking of the name, ”potion of what?” just came natural to me. Sharp and bold in the beginning, soft, warm and tender to the heart notes , lingers on the skin in the end in a trusting hug of sweet patchouli and musk ...yep, potion of love! One of the best perfumes for the winter- fall although I sense it more like a fall scent. Dsquared on my favourites list!

Sickly and soapy, but I love it. I've loved it since I first smelled it at a ran-down cosmetics store in the Caucasus years ago. Also lasts longer than you might think and lingers on and around you for hours.

I like everything of this one. The warm classy scent(I think it reminds me Burberry Touch for women, but I had it long ago), the bottle and the name. To me they fit each other perfectly.

Beautiful! This would be a gorgeous signature scent! It's not too pink and cosmetic. I enjoy it a lot! It's warm, comfortable and cozy without being overwhelming!

Sweet and subtle, lovely fragrance but it doesn't last on my skin.

Potion was far from my imaginations. It's notes promise an original and interesting scent but None of them standout so that it borders on being generic,still it's pleasant I couldnt name any of it's notes before checking fragrantica but after seeing it's pyramid I told myself: yes,it must be candied violets,rose and some other flowers.also a blackberry-patchouli combo sweetened by vanilla, amber(it doesn't seem to be ambergris to my nose,more like typical amber).not that I can pickup patchouli!just that I can see there must be something like patchouli or some woody notes blending with fruits and deepening them.I can't pickup any bergamot,rhubarb is there but doesn't appear as tart as it usually tends to be.blackberry which could also pass as plum or blackcurrant has stronger presence on my skin but not that I can call this a berryish scent. I can't call it a violet scent or a rose scent either.vanilla has an important role here but it serves as making the whole scent sweeter more than standing out on itself so I can't even call it a vanilla scent. It opens as a fruitchouli.sweet and a little syrupy but not overly sweet or foody.as time passes it becomes more floral and powdery but it's not a too much clean powdery scent on me.it seems to have musky,woody,vanilla,amber base notes which keep it warm and deeper than a usual floral fruity.it becomes a little musky as it dries down but not enough musky to make me love it.all in all I see it as a simple warm and sweet scent with some fruity,powdery,woody,musky facets,not enough to give it a memorable personality but enough to make it pleasant and charming Potion is wearable easy to like and a nice not costly choice for fall& cooler spring nights and even winter days but it's not really memorable..it can be used everywhere and by both mom's & girls..it's stays for about 4hours on my skin(much longer on clothes)and sillage is good when first applied but in about ten minutes reduces to moderate and then soft to moderate.it's versatile and easy to wear and can be a safe gift for alot of people. I see it as a good choice for someone who has always used simple pink fruity florals and now whats to step a bit further and get to know more complex,sexier fragrances without facing much difficulty in adapting Am I going to buy it? عطر خوشبویی هست با نت های خیلی خوب میکس شده و عملا ترکیبی از خیلی چیزها و بعنوان يه عطر روزانه براي پاييز و زمستون و شبهای خنک بهار ميتونه به راحتي انتظارات خيليا رو برآورده كننده(البته اگه انتظار پخش و ماندگاري بالا نداشته باشيد)قابل استفاده تو موقعيتهاي مختلفه براي سنين مختلف..دركل رايحه بدون سنی داره و از اون عطرهاست ك ميتونه هم به دل مادرا بشينه هم دختراشون. شروع عطر براي من بارايحه شیرین و میوه ای همراهه.توت سیاه و ریواس ک اینجا ترش نیست پیچیده شده تو لایه ای از پچولی یا نت های چوبی و شیربن شده با وانیلی ک ببشتر مثل شربت قند هست و امبر(خود امبر،نه امبرگریس) هرچند عطر شیرینی هست اما نمیشه اون رو خیلی شیرین یا گورمند دونست هرچی زمان میگذره نت های گلی(بیشتر بنفشه و رز)غالبتر میشن و عطر پودری تر میشه تو درای داون کمی هم مشک پدیدار میشه اما نه اونقدر ک بشه پوشن رو عطری مشکی دونست..چیزی ک مرتبا از ذهنم میگذشت این بود ک پوشن میتونه دختر عموی دیوید یورمن طلایی باشه ک پودری تر و شده و نت ها ترکیب شده تر و جنریکتر شدن من نتونستم نت پچولي رو بعنوان يه نت مجزا تشخيص بدم اما قطعا چیزی مثل پچولی یا نت های چوبی اینجا حضور داره ک رایحه ای میوه ای عطر رو عمیقتر میکنه..وانيل هم زياد برام قابل تشخيص نبود و بیشتر نقش شیرین کننپه رو داره تا یه نت مجزا واسه هديه هم گزينه خوبيه

I had a wonderfull experiance With this one. i put it on my wrist for test purpose a few days ago and thought mm not bad , but not that special .. And then i forgot all about it rushing on With my other Things. But when i finaly had a time to rest and sat Down i caught the sweetest most beautiful wiff off light sweet powdery marshmellowy Vanilla. (so it seamed to me)I could not wrapp my head around what that smell was . did my kids pick some flowers . had a bought a New lovely scented candles..i was pussled for hours he he.. Then when i was on my way to bed it hit me.. It was this perfume sample..God im so slow sometimes. Now i realy want this its so comforting and so jummy to me. It reminds me a bit of D & G Temperence in awaywith the light musky powderyvanilla note jummy jummy When i do get this and i will . i wil most sertenly look more into the notes and such. just thouht i share a Nice perfume discoverymoment he he

I bought it 3 days ago and I'm already beginning to think I made a big mistake:( Though the fragrance itself is exactly what I was looking for, a somewhat dry, a bit sour, ambery & fruity scent that's quite elegant and very far from the current trend of overly sweet, fruity marshmallows that pass for perfumes these days, lasting power and projection are very, very bad. Potion lasts for 2-4 hours at most and is undetectable except on direct contact with my wrist:( I like the fragrance itself a lot, but this needs an "intense" version ASAP if it hopes to see any sales at all. In Greece, just a month after coming out, it's already on huge discount (35%) and now I can see why:( Personally, I wish I spent a buck or two more, and bought something more lasting.

A very nice fragrance with quality. It starts sour and peppery perhaps (I don't like this opening really as i hate blackberries) but as the time goes by, it's transformed to a deep darker musky scent, with floral chypre characteristics. What I enjoy is that it stays fresh and clean and dry, although it becomes warmer as it dries down. Violet, jasmine and bergamond are combined very skilfully and preserve it's freshness. The dry down (after 5 hours) is amazing!!!!. An enjoyable sulty ambregris decorated by vanilla, musk and patcouli. I would buy this perfume especially to enjoy this last phase....

"Theater perfume" is what comes to mind when I sniff this thing. Essentially this is what I remember the foyer of a theater smelling like - clean/freshly vacuumed carpeting, velvet, nice upholstery, a mishmash of classic fancy perfumes emanating from the cliques of people mingling before the performance. I find that this perfume performs best when dispersed as much as possible, i.e. spraying into the air and walking through the cloud. The cap is made of metal which makes the bottle satisfyingly heavy in the hand. Love it.

Somehow Potion reminds me of Roberto Cavalli Eau de Parfum, this one is a little bit more fresh. Stays close to my skin - next person have to stand close or hug/dance with me to get a wiff. Lovely Vanilla in base. På nåt sätt påminner Potion mig om Roberto Cavalli Eau de Parfum, denna är något lite mer fräsch. Hudnära - nästa person får stå nära eller krama/dansa med mig för att få en fläkt av denna. Djup härlig Vanilj i basen.

A very nice rose perfume mixed with vanilla. In the beginning I had to learn to love it because it gave me a headache. But then when I kept trying it on my skin I loved it so rosy and creamy. Even powdery that note I didn't like so much.But that's from my point of view I like when a fume keeps a sort of freshness. This one became to powdery on my skin. But please try it maby you like it...

This used to be my signature scent for years. Also one of my most complemented scents. Even though I have lot a fragrances I enjoy wearing in my collection, I still hold a lot of nostalgia for this scent. I agree with the comment below me that it is nondescript and perfectly forgettable. It kind-of smells generically feminine. But sometimes thats exactly what you need.
