Nitro Black

Dumont Nitro Black is amazing!! I'm not sure why this fragrance is not being hyped up or talked about more. This bottle is filled with a blast of fruity-citrusy pineapple/lemony scent. Then the smell of spices and birch/wood appears. You can also pickup the little vanilla note. It is all blended very nicely. Nitro black smell very close to the old school Creed Aventus which I love. This fragrance smells amazing and powerful. This is a new fragrance in my collection so I'm not sure toward the longevity or performance. I plan to let it macerate for awhile and see how it improves. Gotta love the Creed Aventus DNA scent!! I can see this fragrances bringing positive compliments.👌 Edit on 4/27/24 I just added two new fragrances to my collection. Dumont Nitro Black Intense and Dumont Platinum. Both are amazing!! Nitro Black Intense is definitely more intense. Smokey/birchy/pineapple ramped up. Dumont Platinum smells exactly like Qaud Al Fursan. Performs very well.

Nitro Black is a very good alternative for Aventus. It's not as harsh and as synthetic as Cdnim. I'll say it's somehow Rather similar to Cdnim LE or PP. Somewhat comes clearer and More refinded than the Armafs. And definitely smells better and More musculine than the platinum which has the QAF sugary pineapple. Grapefruit at the opening definitely better. There's smokiness from the birch too but it's not as smoky as the smoky aventus batches and not as smoky as the older cdnim Edt batchrs before 2019... and the patchouli that comes after makes it pretty nice. This seems to smell like an old batch of Aventus I feel. For the price, you can get it, no horses run. Still the much favoured dna and aventus style for almost everyone and a pretty good one. Outta intense, black and platinum I think I like this better?

#845 in my "Tour de Fragrance" Well it just wouldn't be an Arab perfume company without an Aventus dupe or similar somewhere in the product line, and here it is. I think we all have a couple dozen of the various attempts at Aventus, and I have to say this is one of the better ones. No screechy synthetic citrus, which is where most of them fall down. Nice strong pineapple note, another area where many fail the test. Just like Aventus, immediate compliments from women. For $32.95 you really can't go wrong with this. Any place or time you'd wear Aventus, this will stand in just fine.

Out of the box 12 hrs one spray on my skin. Weird atomizer tho. Press to fast and nothing happens. Has to be a steady slow spray. Almost seems to lose its pressure, so I have to pump it it up before I spray the next day. Only complaint. Smells incredibly like aventus. Pineapple is juicy, birch is smoky. And it performs. I thought for ME fragrances I was supposed to spray it 10 times and it would Mature ? Guess not. Never Tried CDIM. Heard it’s synthetic as all hell. nitro black is not. It’s fantastic. Got it for $24 on Perfume Spot. Solid 9/10 for me.

This is a fantastic fragrance for any occasion. Very nice sillage and longevity, especially for such a cheap price. I feel that calling it an Aventus clone is reductive because this scent is more than that. It makes you smell like you're on holiday at a Caribbean resort, but I don't think it would be out of place to wear this during winter.

This is Aventus DNA at a very nice price point. Very Pineapple and Bergamot opening. Then dries down to a very nice woody and oak moss base with some spice. It retains the pineapple longer than most Aventus clones. Better and more clean opening than CDNIM too. Longevity and sillage are really good too. This is a bang for your buck winner.

amazing smell smoky fruity aventus DNA ,Citrusy aswell,so much better than CDNI ,similar with Al dur al maknoon Lattafa but that doesnt last.but this perfume is beast mode in every aspect

A solid, more balanced dupe with decent projection and longevity. Fruity on initial spray with the undertones of a clean/smoky birth with a vanilla sweetness in the base.

For what is worth, this is a bargain, a steal.

Most entries in the line blend different well-known fragrance DNAs to come up with something new and great, essentially doing the layering for you. Nitro Black is a straight up clone of Creed Aventus. Period. No blending with other fragrance DNAs. And on that level, it's a pretty darn good clone. As one might expect, this is a good blend of fruity, woody, smoky, musk, leather, aromatic and powdery aromas. Most prominent are the birch wood and pineapple notes, which is good as there are many online complaints that recent reformulation of the original actually lacks the signature birch note. Leather is prominent on the drydown, of course, but it's quite pleasant. This is a leather fragrance for those that hate leather fragrances. This is good for both older and younger users, is great for social occasions and outdoor activities, and can be used in the Summer and cooler Spring and Fall seasons before and after. This is quite masculine and I wouldn't recommend for women to use it. Performance is good. There are essentially no weaknesses here other than the rather plain presentation typical of the Nitro line. The real issue to consider is whether yet another Aventus clone is needed on the market. You have variations on the DNA from English Laundry, Armaf, Sapil, Montblanc and now Dumont as well as the original from Creed. If you have any one of these, this is completely redundant. If you don't, then pick this up. Recommended, especially for a first time exposure or replenishment to the Aventus DNA.

So this must be like the Aventus batches with way more woods and smoke, and the pineapple not as juicy, but still very prominent(well into the dry down). It's also overdosed on black currant which gives it a certain vibe of a drink powder that's years passed it's sell by date(if you know you know). It does perform better than almost every Aventus clone I have tried except for CDNIM and Supremacy Collectors Edition. It's honestly like they took Aventus and dialed up all the most manly notes which would usually be my jam, but that overdosed black currant almost ruins it for me. I think most people would really like this, and I actually do like it, but when CDNIM exists I don't see any reason to have this. This may be my least favorite Nitro so far and it's still decent.

A decent Aventus clone but only middle of the pack in terms of clones(not the worst but not the best) My personal faves being actually insurrection Pure and Pure Parfum. This however is a little different in that it’s spicier (not smokier) while still having a fresh pineapple but I smell more apple in this giving this a spicier take with apple and lavender. Performance is decent as it lasts 8-12 hours but only moderate projection

A good Aventus-style fragrance. My preffered clone is still the original CDNIM, as I'm one of the people who likes the candied lemon all the way through, but Nitro Black will get the job done well enough if you're wanting a fragrance of this type for a low price.

Really solid for the price point. Great performance for what you're paying. Opens with a spicy pineapple and drys down to that vanilla and musk. I say solid 4 hours with sillage and stays on skin for over 8

Like an old version of creed aventus. Much better, intense, long lasting and spicier that the newest version of aventus, the pineapple here is very well rounded. It’s Very nice but nothing new.

Aventus dna, nice top notes, fresh green apple, not a monstruous longevity or sillage but it does the job. Nice fresh smokey fragrance in the drydown. Great price!

This is pure lime squeezed on black pepper. Feels natural and promising at the opening. Will update this mini-review over time.
