Nitro Intense

Nitro Intense Dumont When I first came this brand Dumont, my initial thoughts was, is it related or part of the Dumont Paris brand or at least under that Dumont watch branding? Well after some reading up, I still wasn't sure but this Dumont brand has their own Dumont Paris website and is managed by Angel Brands USA (no idea who they are). Marketed under Dumont Paris made in France but they are an UAE Arab production. I purchased a few bottles of Dumont Nitro at FragX and being in Singapore they took more than 2 weeks to deliver. The Janio courier which subs out to J&T here didn't impressed me. Ended up out for delivery 3 times and 2 times returned to warehouse, after clearing customs it took another 6 days to reach me. Orders was placed on Jan 16th and I only received it on Feb 4th. I had purchased many times from FragX and this was the slowest, normally they take 8-10 days max. Now back to Nitro Intense Dumont...Yes it's another Aventus dna alternative but quite a good one. Website writeup is: A special case of perfume that combines the charming scents of patchouli, lilac, pepper and vanilla. It is the secret to complete your look and to make you the center of attention. TOP: APPLE, BLACK CURRANT, BERGAMOT, PINEAPPLE MIDDLE: PATCHOULI, BIRCH, LAVENDER, PEPPER, ROSE, JASMINE BASE: AMBER, MUSK, VANILLA Nitro Intense Dumont, from the bottle color and notes looks to be a Creed Absolu Aventus alternative! The notes here aren't accurate I think. It's somewhat similar to AA but there are differences, so to me it's Not very close to AA and neither it's close to og A. It's much sweeter, very fruity at the opening and it's somewhat smoky but not very smoky, the base main dna is there because of the strong pineapple note and Black current and bergamot. The Birch is there to make it Abit smoky. There isn't enough spices to make it that close to AA. This Nitro Intense is Strong, but it's projection doesn't seem to be really there, stays really strongly on my skin. Silage also not really there But seeing how the sprayer works, it's not a pressurized atomizer but a normal one that gives huge wet focused spots on skin, do spray little further to spread out the mist and not close, so it's sorta a lousy cheap sprayer atomizer that doesn't spread well. After a while, somehow it seems rather similar to Cdnim LE, no spice, sweet and maybe still addictive to some. There's no way the quality of the juice can beat Creed. But for the price, it's a pretty cheap alternative. Nitro had the Black and the Platinum that's also has the aventus dna and I also purchased those but yet to open and wear them so can't comment on it. For what it's worth on what I said above, don't take it 100% but also don't ignore it as I do own the og, the cologne and AA and have at least 40+ bottles of various brands of Aventus dna frags from cheaper ME to expensive niches, so I know the scent and dna rather well. Intense is like a hybrid of AA and A. I like the bottle design though, I think synthetic leather wraps around the center of the bottle with a cap that has decent wright with some metal, gives your hand a good hold and grip, quite a nice bottle and cap actually. Juice wise, nothing special or unique, but still decent alternative and dupe that's cheap and good to just spray away. Now I'll let it sit and mancerate and come back to it later. If you like the dna as much as me, no harm trying a bottle since it doesn't burst the wallet. cheer.

I only have Montblanc Explorer and Hawas Black, so I can only compare this to those two, and unfortunately, not what it's cloning. To my nose this feels like a slightly more jammy version of Hawas Black where Black is a very polarizing and sharp bergamot and oakmoss scent setting you in the middle of a damp forest surrounded by the scent of wet moss covered trees; this scent takes a similar approach however with the heightened top notes of plum, black currant, and pineapple, it elevates that forest scent and reminds me of if a jam factory was in the middle of a forest. The black currant, I believe, is more prominent in my batch than the other two fruits described, where the slightly darkened fruitiness is subtle but noticeable and has a very alluring sweet scent. I feel like I can also smell the birch, but I am not very experienced with birch scents, so to my nose it mainly just smells like a more woody oakmoss. I remember hearing about with the original Creed Aventus that many people were complaining about the birch, which can lead to an overwhelming smokiness, so maybe it is the birch that reminds me of an almost woody pencil shaving, like cedar, but also remains distinct from actual normal cedar notes. Overall, this scent is very nice and wearable for most occasions. The main complaint I have is the longevity is not fantastic, but for 30$ I don't really care, spray and pray right. The other complaint I have is the atomizer is absolutely abysmal; it doesn't fully spray so it just squirts the perfume everywhere. Incredibly annoying, but once again, was I really expecting a premium perfume for 30$? No, I wasn't. Edit: I decanted the entire bottle into a 10$ bottle I bought off amazon and it is 1000 times better.

I received Nitro Intense 3 days ago and my GOD is this an amazing fragrance. I've never smelled Absolu Aventus, but I do own CDNIM & Supremacy Silver and this is like Supremacy Silver turned all the way up - its sweeter, its darker, its juicy, and overall very addicting. The opening has a really strong pineapple syrup-ish note (the strongest note by far) mixed with some plum, as well as a bit of blackcurrant, and bergamot to round it out. It ends up morphing into this smoky, musky scent and after a couple hours you get mostly smoke, vanilla, and plum. Much sweeter than I expected but its soooo good. If you want a twist on the Aventus DNA, this is really nice and really cheap. Performance is amazing, lasts 8 hours on skin and projection is beastly - people are going to smell you as soon as you enter a room. IMO it's versatile enough to be worn at anytime of the year, but I do see it performing better in the winter and fall because of how dense it is. Very happy with this blind buy.

When I bought this at Burlington I sprayed it on my hand let it dry down smelled amazing, went home took a shower for work and as I was drying off I had wiped my hand across my nose the hand I had sprayed earlier, mind you as I said I was in the shower washed every part of my body with soap and shampoo dried off, the scent I sprayed on earlier was still on my hand. Now not as strong but it was still there. To me that's longevity and that's what I look for in a fragrance. I want you overtake the room I want to stand out I either want to make people cough make people sniff the air and be like what is that amazing smell. And this parfum will do it. Sticks out like a sore thumb and in a good way. This only cost 30 bucks and this is a Creed absolute aventus clone. As I'm sure because most clones are better than the original so is this one and I'm sure it lasts longer too. Did I mention this cost me 30 bucks? It's still on my clothes stronger than ever and I sprayed it on 14 hours ago.

I just got this and straight from the opening omg omg if you love creed aventus and want the best clone and closest one to smell like it I own creed aventus and just got this and I have all haramain l'aventure intense which was the best but not lasting and very weak this one is exactly like that but stronger and better that one was about 90% close to aventus this one is seriously like robbery of aventus as I smell them both I don't notice any difference at all the nitro might even be stronger and I think I might just actually like it better not much but if someone asked me to smell both and didn't tell me what was which I would probably say the nitro black intense which is nuts and this is right after opening i just opened it I'm amazed and happy I just got it for 31$$ I would say it's definitely a safe blind buy if you love aventus GET IT!!!

This is good stuff and excellent bang for the buck. As many have said off the top it’s fruity. I got a juicy grilled pineapple scent. There is some plum and black current and the bergamot feels missing. As the scent evolves the pineapple stays but I get this strong birch and mixed in with that some Cognac, Mryhh and vanilla. That’s where the scent development ends and it’s pineapple, bitch, cognac, myrhh, cinnamon and vanilla through the end which adds some sexiness. The pineapple keeps it fresh. This is Aventus inspired but goes in a completely different direction. I can’t say I’ve smelt anything like this. It’s a keeper and addicting when you get whafts of it. Solid purchase! At the price point and scent quality - it’s sig worthy! Sweet looking bottle.

First impressions : this is somewhat similar to hawas black with toned down oakmoss, minus dirt and addition of some other notes. Longevity is quite good and projection is definitely great. Overall a more mass appealing scent than hawas black which is lemon and oakmoss bomb. The notes in this is quite complex and have multiple layers and very well blended together, doesnt smell synthetic and smells very very high quality more than hawas black. need to see more for performance. I'd suggest this over hawas black. However i am pretty sure i smelt very similar perfume which costed 6 times less than nitro intense by Engage brand.

I haven't smelled Aventus or Aventus Absolu, so this review is of the fragrance as itself rather than a dupe. I really enjoy this fragrance. Performance is great (I get 8 hours or so), projection as well. It's not as fruity as I imagined from the notes. A lot more woody/smoky for me too. Although neither are listed, I kind of get this cedar or pine from it, but I also see how birch would fit. Very masculine, slightly musky but in a good way. The best way I could describe this fragrance is walking through a forest of pine trees while someone is cooking pineapple over a campfire in the distance.

I have both Nitro Intense and Nitro Black along with CDNIM and CDN Preciuex. After owning it for 6+ months its definitely a lot closer CDN Preciuex, especially in the drydown. If I had to pick between these 2 i would say CDN Preciuex is overall better with higher quality but the difference is not that much. Nitro Intense lasts for ages has nice quality and is well worth the price. Very versatile, easy to wear and a definite crowd pleaser. Compared to Nitro black this is a more dressed up fragrance and having both is definitely not redundant. This is redundant to CDN Preceiux

I got this today and didn't know much about it. I've never given this brand a second thought and decided to give it a try at $20. I don't get aventus absolu at all but I do get an amazing aventus clone. Honestly better than my cdn pure parfum. The pure parfum is a good clone for the smokier aventus and this is more fruity pineapple forward aventus. I was really surprised with it. Now I am gonna be looking into what the other nitros are trying to dupe and looking into getting more bc I'm loving this one.

An absolute screamer!! Not exactly Aventus but has a nice twist to it and outperforms it by a lot..I don't get any leathery sort of note i'd get in creed but rather a smooth musky note with the pineapple toned down..reminds me of Polo Green in the opening for some reason (could be the harshness)..all in all a really good scent and it has amazing projection with just 4 sprays. Initially when I received the bottle, it had performance issues. Let it sit for a week to 10 days and it'd be good to go.

My expectations of this was actually surpassed. I was surprised that although the notes thats separate Intense and Black apart in the top/mid/base, are actually present. I can recognize the plum, cinammon, cognac, bergamot, myrrh patchouli, rose, iris, tonka bean in the composition. It sets it apart from Celerio Oros I have. I think if this just had one ingredient of spice, this would be identical to Absolu Aventus, as it has the Aventus DNA but with the added darkness minus the spice.

I actually do get Absolu Aventus after a while into the dry down once things settle. Before that, it's a nice dark, smoky, sweet, and boozy experience. During this stage, the culmination of very powerful accords takes this far away from a creed frag, which typically has a light/airy feel. I like that it does its own thing. Unsure about performance though - can't tell if it's easy to go anosmic to or if it's lacking.

It's excellent, definitely not as sharp or synthetic as the Aventus-inspired fragrances by Armaf or Afnan. A very good, rich, multi-layered scent, with satisfactory performance, a safe choice for various occasions. It's difficult to find in Europe... but you can negotiate with the brand owner and have it imported from the Netherlands. The entire Dumont Nitro collection is highly recommended.

Omgsh this smells amazing!!! For the price definitely slightly better than all the other clones of aventus!! I’ll tell you what I sprayed this with the older version of Tommy Hilfiger Tommy cologne that still has all its scent and both together is a masterpiece!! I also sprayed it with rayhaan aquatica and it also smells amazing but the Tommy and this is crazy good.

I get cinnamon, plum, bergamot, myrrh, and pepper mix from this one mostly. I like it and have gotten compliments when I wear it. I like it better than any of the creed perfumes. It smells very much like a perfume that I made myself not long ago at a perfume making class and mixes very well with it. I have been very impressed with the Dumont Nitro's.

#847 in my "Tour de Fragrance" This is absolutely intended to be a similar to Creed "Aventus Absolu", my absolute favorite Creed scent. and it's a good attempt with solid longevity and projection. I honestly can't decide which I like better. Got compliments on it immediately. Definitely versatile for any purpose or setting. Cannot beat the price!

This doesn't smell like anything in the "smells like" list. It has a bit of that Aventus DNA, but this is, as far as I can tell, a unique creation. It has some pineapple, but at the front I get more plum and cinnamon. This is a warmer, cozier version of any of the other Aventus-inspired fragrances, wearable in any season or setting. A hidden gem!

I own Afnan SCE and Hawas Black. Both similar vibe between those and this with each dressing it up in a different way. Pineapple smells unripened and tangy with earthy undertones. Not as soil smelling as Hawas black, but I’d say closer to Hawas than Afnan but doesn’t feel redundant. Definitely a year round fragrance. W blind buy.

I know it might sound way too good to be true. But to my nose this is a mix of creed aventus absolu-intense cedrat boise. I am surprised intense cedrat boise is missing in the "reminds me of" section. I really enjoy this, but I don't consider this blind buy safe.

Got this from Burlington 2 weeks ago. At first it was very woody and spicy for the 1st 30 mins then fruitiness came out. Now I barely smell the wood. It's sweet fruity then a gets woody snd spicy later on. Lasted about 6 hours.

Such a underrated gem that is not talked about enough in the Nitro line. Like a grilled spiced pineapple with boozy plum undertones and a clean musky drydown. Fantastic for the price and a appreciated twist on the dna.

Excellent, deep, interesting, long-lasting. Masculine in a “I don’t give a f*ck” kind of way. Holy shit though- that atomizer. What are we doing? Might be worth going for Precieux based on that alone.

This is a good Aventus alternative. Juicier with a little boozy leather vibe to it. I’ve never smelled Aventus Absolu but this like a more sophisticated Aventus. For the price it’s a great value.

I bought this fragrance off Amazon and I LOVE IT but I can’t really smell the fruit in the dry down, it basically smells like how beer tastes, i don’t really know how to put it in other words.

One of the best Aventus clones on the market. A little darker and smokier than most. Great longevity and projection. This and CNIM limited edition are my 2 favorite Aventus clones.

Extremely good pickup, will not be disappointed. Wears differently than Absolu Aventus. Somewhat similar but a very nice different path it takes on the drydown. And it is intense.

This is the Aventus dna but if Aventus had a slightly Smokey, leather and very smooth flanker. I dig this one. It’s different enough to be worth the cheap price.

Really amazing ... Never smelt creed absolu , but it blows away original creed in terms of smell or longevity . Complex and changes with time ! Safe blind buy !

This is – by far – the most underrated Aventus DNA inspo. This is so good, Im gonna have to check out Black as well. Flying under radar.

Alright, guys & gals. This is the best, aka my favorite, Aventus dupe I’ve ever smelled on scent profile alone. Way, way better than most and different enough to not be redundant. Celerio Oros and SNOI are the only others even close on how good they smell, but both are more Hacivat than Aventus. This one’s not quite Absolu, not quite Aventus. Kind of an older, smoky batch of Aventus with some sweetness from the plum and cognac and some darkness from the myrrh that makes it almost Absolu. All can be picked up easily and smell excellent. I’d swear there’s a lot of grapefruit too. Man, for sub-$35, I don’t know why you’d avoid it. Could be a signature. More 3 seasons, probably. Can’t fully comment on performance yet, but starts off very, very strong and can be picked up faintly on skin for over 8 hours. Eaaaasssyy blind buy. It will get compliments, but the day has to end with a “y”

This is definitely a very masculine scent profile and not a safe blind buy. In my opinion, you really have to enjoy those leathery, smoky fragrances to appreciate this one. The opening has a slightly sweet pineapple vibe, which gives it some brightness at first. As it settles, the middle notes come through strong with that bold leather presence, and the base stays consistently smoky throughout the entire wear. Honestly, I don’t feel like the scent evolves much—it stays pretty linear—but I don’t hate it. I’ve been trying to step outside my usual sweet, clean fragrances and explore different scent profiles, and this is definitely part of that journey. I will wear it, especially for certain occasions, but go easy on the sprays. It’s a strong fragrance, and overdoing it can easily give you a headache.

This is NOT a creed clone. Its the same DNA but no means a clone. I have owned this for about 2 weeks and its been getting better. Right of the bat you get hit with a strong cognac pineapple cinnamon explosion. After that on my skin its very juicy pineapple not sweet like others say and very birchy woody smoky type vibe. I would love to get other notes that are listed but i dont on my skin. Think of Rave Now but better and dosent smell as cheap Projection and longevity are very good last a long time in the heat and projects. It last on my clothes till next day ( i do about 8 sprays) Over all 8.2/10

It's the tride and true aventus DNA with some cinnamon. I've never smelled absolu aventus, so I can't comment. I have every concentration of CDNIM, including both 21 LE and 24 LE. Armaf does this DNA best. In my collection, second would be not only intense. Then this, and in last place is that dirt smelling hawas black. Yes, it smells like dirt, lemons, and pineapple. Nitro black intense is a beast imo.

I enjoy this a lot, super versatile. NOT blind buy safe however. It's a prominent pineapple with smokiness and spice. I love the opening. Drydown is solid, pineapple fades back and a slight birchy smell makes its way in but the fragrance is relatively linear. It lasts a LONG time on my skin. Yours might be different so don't blind buy.

It's pleasant. To me, it starts with more of the Nitro Black, Aventus-style DNA, but that soon fades into something that's sweet and almost powdery that kind of reminds me of something like sugar cookies with the orignal Black in the background. It's a great spin on the genre and worth more than the low price you'll pay for it.

Here’s the thing about this fragrance. It’s very similar to the creed but with the lack of that nasty oakmoss undertone, and without that it is phenomenal, there are some people saying that you shouldn’t get it if you already have a dupe of creed, but I say I’m glad I got it and I prefer this over my intense man

smells like Creed Aventus on steroids!! The opening is fantastic, really fruity off the top, the plum note is strong along with the pineapple. It gets really woody in the dry down. Overall I think this is a really masculine leaning fragrance and good for the price 8.3/10

This cologne smells very very similar to club de nuit urban man elixir ... I have yet to smell any of the creed lines but this stuff is strong! The dry down is very nice the opening is super strong and projects like crazy. Don’t overspray.

Definitely get smokey pineapple at the beginning, dry down I get pineapple and plum with the plum being a lil more dominant than the pineapple with the smokiness and somewhat powdery. Feels blind buy safe to me.

Many people say that theres no sillage or longevity, you HAVE TO macerate it for at least a week for it to last long and I also own cdnim but I honestly like nitro intense better.

Smells like most of the Creed Aventus Absolu inspired by dupes. It's scent will instantly remind you of a fruitier pineapple forward Creed Aventus.
