Nitro Platinum

I'm terrible at picking favorites, but this is definitely somewhere in my top 5 favorite fragrances now. An absolute banger for less than 30 dollars. I don't recommend this if you're someone who has to has a niche or super unique fragrance. This is safe to blind by and a mass appealing scent profile that will be loved by those around you, given that you don't overspray too much. I've heard this is a hybrid of Creed Aventus mixed with BR540, although I think that would be more accurate to Afnan 9pm Rebel, which is also fantastic. Nitro Platinum and 9pm Rebel are perfect counterparts of each other, smelling very similar, with Nitro being the juicy and fun younger brother to the slightly more mature but still fun and exciting 9PMR. I wear both frequently, with Platinum being the more daily driver fun appealing scent and 9PMR being the more reserved, maybe even intimate version. The opening of Platinum is blissful. Don't let the fruits fool you, the orange, black currant, bergamot and apple, with the touches of vanilla combine to make a ridiculously realistic and juicy pineapple juice scent. Imagine sweet, ripe pineapple juice with some kind of cream in it, maybe like a Dole pineapple softserve, but even juicier than that. It's a delicious opening that is super fun and if you like fresh fruit scents, you will be smelling yourself all day. One of my favorite openings of any fragrance ever. Nothing has ever given me this visceral of a "wow that's delicious" reaction. As fun as the opening is, it does dry down into something more masculine and mature. This is where those BR540-esque notes come in. The saffron and vanilla and amber and woods mix well while the pineapple stays pretty relevant, shifting that BR540 dna into something less middle aged manny and more creamy and inviting but still mature. It smells clean all day without smelling like a shower gel. I've bought 2 bottles of this, and while the bottle quality is inconsistent, the performance has not been. My first bottle had a terrible atomizer, making it easy to overspray trying to correct for the terrible spray performance. But I liked it enough that within a week I tried my hand at buying a second bottle and that one's atomizer was much better. However, the fragrance performance was phenomenal on both right out of the box. I got both from amazon, which appears to have been a safe buy, and right out of the box neither bottle required any maturation to be truly enjoyable. Straight from the box both bottles projected fantastically and lasted a very long time. I work 10 hour days, and when I wear this to work, I can still catch whiffs of it when I'm heading home for the day. As I'm typing this, I put this on about 2 hours ago, and it's still projecting almost as if I just sprayed it. And this stuff is strong, even for the price. I do one spray on each side of the neck, one at the base of the front of the neck, one on my solar plexus under my shirt, and one on the back of the neck. For a lot of people this may be too much. When my skin is properly moisturized, which it should always be when applying fragrances, it is bordering on too strong for 5 sprays, but is enjoyable enough to the people around me that it does not become offensive. I would NOT wear this many sprays if you work in an office environment. 1 spray on each side of the neck will be plenty for an office environment. I'd actually recommend 9pm Rebel in more professional settings, and be careful as that is also very strong. Make sure to test for a day around the house or out and about and have the people around you let you know how it's performing or if it's too much. For parties, clubbing, or date nights, I highly recommend this. Keep the sprays down if you're in an intimate setting or on a date. Male or Female, your date WILL smell this, and if they enjoy tasty fruity scents will be looking for excuses to get close to you and smell it again. I'm a single man and actively dating and this has been a hit with every woman I've worn it around (mostly within the 24-30 year old range if that information is relevant to you). For clubs or parties, this is mass appealing and while this does share a not very unique scent profile with things like Creed Aventus, it's fun and unique enough that most people will not recognize it as something they've smelled before. I would not recommend this as a gym fragrance. It's very strong and the sweetness, although not overly sweet, could become too much for those around you if you're generating a lot of body heat. Stick to something more of a straight up freshie. That being said, this is a pretty safe wear for all year round. It still performs surprisingly well in cold weather despite not being a wintery fragrance. Actually love the creamy pineapple and the saffron shows well in the winter air. Safe if you're in climate controlled indoor environments all year round. Amazing on summer nights. Not sure how I would recommend it for intense summer heat. The sweetness could become overwhelming. Keep the sprays down if you plan on wearing this in the hottest points of the summer. Overall, I HIGHLY recommend this one for the average man, especially if you're anywhere between your teens and late thirties. Not sure how suitable this is for middle aged men or older, but my 60 year old father asked me to buy him a bottle for his birthday within 5 minutes of being in the same room as me.

Grabbed this and the green one up, came in today. I write this as I test this out for the first time. How is pineapple not a note on this? The first 5 minutes atleast after testing a spray on my arm, almost ALL I can smell is one of honestly the most authentic pineapple smells I've encountered. After a little bit, the opening does show that kind of darker currant vibe with that AMAZING pineapple, touch of that pink pepper going on. Sugar as note is funny, I don't really get sugar at all, more just an overall sweetness, the vanilla that's in this greatly reminds me of the vanilla in Valentino BiRI, it's like the freshness of Aventus mixing with BiRI, or like invictus or something. Hard to describe for me. I get some of the cedar going on, but mostly I get that aromatic vanilla mixing with the pineapple/currant combo. Almost like they stuck that cedar in there to not let all the sweet shit get out of control. Was a little sad initially with this, as I've got a bottle of Afnan Supremacy collectors edition, and I thought for sure that this was like that same kind of thing. But smelling the two side by side, this is a much more warm weather accepting version of those kind of frags, thats how I'd put it. Supremacy for me, can't be worn on a really hot day, where as this? Definitely. Performance is really nice it seems off the bat. I won't be surprised when I still smell this tomorrow morning when I wake up. One little spray on my arm, and I can smell it basically all the time, so its got some good sillage too. A little redundant for my collection, as I've got what seems to be maybe 5-6 scents that I feel have touches/lots of pineapple-y vibes going on. But I do very much enjoy these sorts of scents. All in all for 30 bucks? Can't go wrong at all.

i must not know what pineapple smells like because contrary to basically every person on this page says it smells like pineapple i don’t get that lol. i get more of a nondescript fruit smell. not pure pineapple. but regardless...smells great. sweet and fruity. 2 people today have already stopped me at work to ask what i was wearing. i think i may be going nose blind to it because the sillage is very strong. borderline nuclear...but when i catch whiffs of it...its very nice. inoffensive. easy blind buy if you like fruity and sweet fragrances. not sickeningly sweet either. longevity tbd. edit: lasted my entire work day. strong sillage for the first 2 hours. if there’s any air moving at all...it could easily go beyond 6 feet. falls to about arms reach for a couple hours after that. skin scent until i took a shower the following morning. woody and vanilla dry down is pretty par for the course for this dna. im a fan. would definitely recommend.

Most reviews mention it’s long lasting and strong. My bottle opens up potent and loud. But it doesn’t last that long and sillage isn’t that strong. Average at best in both departments. I really like the profile, don’t get me wrong, I have nothing like it and decided to blind buy it based on many reviews here and Youtube. Usually, a strong fragrance lasts for about 10 hours minimum on clothes, I have quite a few frags which do that, you know, the kind of longevity that lingers on clothes after you take off your shirt and the fragrance can still be smelled. However, I don’t find that here, even the OG Nitro pour homme lasts and performs better than Platinum. Maybe I bought a bootleg version since the leatherish wraparound of the bottle is not stuck to the bottle. I mean, it’s wrapping the bottle but it’s loose. Like a ring. Here’s hoping it gets better with time. Update 11/11/25: it got better with time 🤙🏽🤙🏽

I am a fragrance "snob." I've long evolved from the puke water cheap stuff people LOVE today. I try to keep an open mind, but clones.....I can count on one hand how many were as advertised. I've been burnt over and over and over. Buddy of mine started getting heavy into colognes and naturally he was in the "whoa I got a good clone for XYZ, could it be all clones are better versions than the 220 dollar fragrances they are mimicking" phase of this hobby? So he was on a clone bender and he stumbled on this one. He thought it was an Aventus clone, and passed it on when it was not Aventus. I gave it a wearing and......I was blown away. Love this. It's simple, but it smells great and performs well. My question is.....is this a clone? I can only imagine how good the original is.......

I've purchased a decant of this a while back, but I just got my hands on a bottle of this stuff and it still does not disappoint. You can tell that the orange note is in there, but the other top notes seem to combine into what smells exactly like pineapple. In terms of being an Aventus clone, it has a much smoother yet "darker" profile compared to other Aventus DNA dupes. The wood and amber notes help to make this a suitable fragrance for cooler months, but the fresh and sweet fruit notes make it acceptable for the hot months, as well. This is an all-season cologne to me. It's very fun and fresh, while maintaining a bit more of a "mature" profile. Overall, Nitro Platinum is a woody, creamy pineapple fragrance that's a pretty easy reach most times of the year.

Let's play a game. Dumont Nitro Platinum Pour Homme EDP + Mont Blanc Explorer EDP? Extremely close to Aventus, with a slight BR540 twist. It could be closer though. Mont Blanc Explorer EDP (on skin) + Dumont Nitro Platinum Pour Homme EDP (on clothes) + Perry Ellis America EDT (neck line)? Maybe just a bit of smoke missing but the combo is killer and still manages to use three designers, if that matters to you. The fruitiness of Dumont is strongest and projects the longest, the Mont Blanc's muskiness is the best as skin scent, and Perry Ellis feels closest on that open to middle note transition. Even alone I found Platinum to be enjoyable, but it layers super well (especially with other Aventus 'clones'). Easy grab.

A pineapple bomb. It smells like opening a can of pineapples in a lite syrup. I don’t get aventus with this because I’m not getting as much of the other aventus stuff (smoke, musk, birch), but I do layer with with CDNIM LE, and find that they balance and enhance each other. Adds the smoky magic of CDNIM LE with the pineapple prominence of nitro platinum to make a great aventus-akin Smokey pineapple scent that is long lasting and powerful. On its own it’s a sweet, fun pineapple scent. Maybe a little bit of spices in the background but mostly pineapple (and not the citrus smell that some other fragrances call pineapple, this is pineapple).

One of the best blind buy I've ever made. Much better than the Dumont White—hands down. For those looking to compare it to Aventus: Platinum is loosely similar, but not quite the same. It gives off a pineapple vibe, even though that note isn’t listed. There's a sweetness to it—not the cloying, synthetic kind or something juvenile. It's more like the refined sweetness you’d find in Baccarat Rouge, just subtly layered underneath. Performance is solid too—easily lasts 7 to 8 hours. It’s a compliment monster. As crazy as it sounds, this fragrance could easily make it into my “Top 10 Keepers” list—if I ever made one. It’s that good.

Bought 3 nitros from fragx and I've reviewed nitro intense last week. Nitro Intense opens abit pineapple axe oil style and then it becomes a sugary sweet pineapple aka Qaed Al Fursan juicy ripe pineapple style. Still feels that it starts and smells better than QAF. Oil % high, leaves a layer of shine on skin same as the intense. Notes seems complex but my nose don't get anything complex here, at least I dont get all those notes other than the🍍. So far it seems nothing unique or special, linear and non development of different notes. Still nothing beats the og from the og brand, you'll get the quality of the juice there.

For my money, the best in the Nitro line. Fun, fruity, casually elegant and hugely versatile. It's a "good time" scent that doesn't require or reward deep thought, but it deserves credit for the balance of its notes. Sweet but not too sweet (ciao Eros), fruity but not too candylike (sit down, Invictus), in the shadow of Aventus but clearly goes a different direction, energetic but still wearable for a greybeard like me. This isn't high art but it is technically excellent and a whole lot of fun. My wife and I both adore it (on me). Great mood lifter.

A more masculine, more mature, smoother, juicier, richer, darker, denser, woodier, smokier, longer-lasting version of the scent DNA that Lattafa Qaed Al Fursan and RAVE Now has. Take note, they all do the same "scent DNA" but they are not identical, they smell different enough allowing me to distinguish them from each other. Out of the three I've mentioned, I prefer this one. I get easily noseblind to this, but I catch whiffs of it in the air 7 hours later. I love it.

#1127 in my "Tour de Fragrance" I picked this up before it was listed here so just now getting around to posting a review. It's the sweetest and fruitiest of all the Nitros, like Afnan's "Rebel Red" times two. So if sweet and fruity is not your thing, pass on by. I think it's a fun scent with solid performance. Perfect daywear for casual day at work, play time, not formal wear. For warmer weather. This will never offend anyone, but I'd say it's for the young guys.

I’m anti clone guy. I hate this horde of 22 dollar synthetic piss water thing that is taking over the industry. That said, my buddy found this. Gave it to me last one summer day...... Very very good. Whatever it’s cloning....im not familiar with. Closest thing is Verve Matin, but this is juicier and much much stronger.

This is a hidden gem no doubt. It's a woody, smoky, punchy, pineapple bomb. Performance gets better after maceration. This lasts on skin for 12+ hours and leaves a nice trail for the first 2 - 3 hours. It pulls compliments, turns heads and exudes a masculine presence. 8.5/10

After maturing for a couple months the cedar and amber really comes forward and the intense pineapple tones down. This just made it into my top 5 after wearing it today. Worth it! But let it sit.

Long-lasting, exudes power and confidence. The pineapple note is amazing and the smokiness is perfect. When I tried Aventus this is what my brain wanted it to smell like. 15/10.

This one clones a very cheap clone. Lattafa Al Fursan. Very pinaple forward. I would wear this layered with Aventus style frags to boost the pineapple. It is very nice.

It's like an improved version of Qaed al Fursan and Rave now. Has that nice pineapple note but has subtle notes in there that make it more effervescent and complex.

Extremely pineapple forward opening but dries down into something more woody and masculine. Incredible smell and performance is next level.

Dont waste your money, get 9pm Rebel instead, its an upgrade from this scent in every way. 2x more performance, Better pineapple opening

Woody, pineapple bliss. I know pineapple isn't listed---maybe it comes from the mix of black currant, apple and other fruits---but it comes off as pineapple. There's also something vaguely smoky to me, which I really enjoy. Some spiciness and creaminess as well. Really nice. Very similar to Lattafa's Qaed al Fursan (to the point that I don't think many people could tell the difference unless tested side by side, and even then...), but Platinum is a bit more dense and has a slight resinous quality. QaF for the daytime and Platinum for night. They both have a little cotton-candy vibe to them similar to the BR540 DNA, but I do not like BR540, while QaF and Platinum are brilliant. If you like QaF, you'll like this. I haven't tested longevity enough yet, but Red and White both had good performance, so I'm betting this will too.

On its own, this is a nice, fresh, light, sweet, non-offensive, masculine scent you could wear just about any time or to any occasion. It genuinely reminds me of pineapple dum-dums-- **IF** pineapple dum-dums were re-imagined by a chef who added several complementary components to round it out and elevate it into a slightly more complex sensory experience but one that still retains its original playful nature. It does remind me of Rave Now, which is a very nice composition. As far as an aventus adjacent composition, if you're looking for a light sweet playful aventus you might wear on a tropical vacation, this is a great option for the price.

This is really good! It's pretty much a mix of Absolu Aventus and Qaed Al Fursan. I've tried all the Nitros except for Gold, and this is by far the easiest to wear as a daily fragrance. Platinum and White are my favourites out of the Nitro line so far. 8.4/10 Update: This fragrance changed a lot after having it for some time, the top and mid notes are completely gone. The fruity pineapple blackcurrant opening is pretty much non existent, which is unfortunate cause the fruity/sweet opening made me enjoy this. Now Im mainly getting cedarwood amber and a slight vanilla scent. I originally rated this a 8.4. After letting It sit its a 7.7

The main smells i got are pineapple and smoke. Layer with CDNIM PP, and man, they were born for each other. It's a killer combo that blows all those Aventus clones out of the water. But honestly, it's awesome on its own too. If pair it with CDNIM, go easy on the Platinum 'cause that pineapple scent can really take over the CDNIM smell. People have been going crazy over Nitro Red and White by YT, and yes, they're good, but they kinda lean too much in one direction, Platinum hits that sweet spot, it's perfectly balanced. For me, this is the real unique Nitro. Easy 10 hours on skin and projects about an arm's length.

An incredibly sweet syrupy fruit cocktail, more of the black current shines but it’s too sweet for my taste. Slight woodsy undertones later on but doesn’t change much. Saffron, blackcurrant, green apple and a bit of orange undertone. Very nice fruity combination. It reminds me of a hand soap that had granada and mango, but not exactly. A bit similar to Dolce&Gabanna K EDP. Surprisingly similar to 9pm rebel.

Smells like sweet and creamy pineapple, simple as that. Long lasting scent and good sillage.

I am getting a very strong Versace Eros vibe from this one. Maybe a bit more musky but the sugary sweetness mixed with the other notes is giving off a minty vibe. There is a darker feel here so like if Eros was worn by Vader or even Palpatine. Mostly a synthetic and average scent that I would not buy a full bottle.

After wearing this super synthetic mess, for a day I realized that it's time for this to go. It's that bad that I don't even want it in my collection. The opening is were the trouble begins, you're hit with a synthetic full frontal attack on your nose. You're going to smell pineapple alright, but it smells like old rotten pineapple juice with perfume to hide the rotteness pulp smell. Can't get a deep sniff without being hit with an alcoholic burn from inhaling this mess. The saffron is way over the top of this synthetic oils, which chocks you out, because of the urge for long lasting performance they've cut corners on quality. Now the dry down is just as terrible still the synthetic aroma is as present as ever. Eight hours of total synthetic trauma not a mature fragrance at all. Great for a younger demographic. They're going to love the fragrance due to its powerful projection and longevity and to be honest most of their noses haven't grown up yet to pick up the synthetic concoction that's upon them.

I DESPISE this. I was coaxed into getting it, swindled you could say by a quick salesman, but I hate this. its supposed to be orange or whatever, but all you smell is straight up pineapple for a few hours, it is a very strong scent that I'm almost certain you cant go blind to. I sprayed it twice on my arm and could smell it even when my arms were down. I think the almost floral smell is what makes me hate it but its also way too much like qaed al fursan to me (which I also didn't like). I've got a brand new unsprayed bottle that I only took out of the box to look at. someone PLEASE take this off my hands. dumont elixir was the better release.

So I'm comparison to fusan I really only smell a comparison for 60 seconds then it's just vaguely reminds you of that one. The apple and black current really stick out to me in the opening with some spices and then it dries down to a vanilla woody scent with some nice floral and the fruity opening is gone much better much more complex than fursan

Anyone who attacks this fragrance should NEVER be asked for any opinion about any perfume. NEVER. This has one of the best pineapple scents I've encountered. It's a very juicy and smooth pineapple mixed with minty notes. Very refreshing. People talk a lot about Nitro Red; but I love Platinum even more than Red.

Muito parecido com 9PM Rebel, porém este é mais domado, sem muitas pontas soltas, menos doce e mais dócil. Esse DNA “abacaxi doce” que os perfumes árabes trouxeram com força, é muito gostoso ao meu olfato, esse abacaxi com groselha negra e baunilha é um dos meus acordes preferidos.

The opening about made me throw it away, peppery, smokey synthetic pineapple. Blind buy, had a few ppl recommend it, i should nevet listen to anything they say after this. I will let it "macerate" as they say..but i doubt it changes my mind. You get what you pay for i guess.

Pineapple scent off the top and . fruity and sweet with smokiness at the bottom...great pick up .. attention grabber... definitely gets you noticed.... compliment magnet... overall great scent and performance

From a paper spray: It is very similar to Qaed Al Fursan, you can feel a fruitiness similar to pineapple. But it is richer, kind of with a sugary mintyness. Very nice, better than QAF. To be continued.

Smells like baccarat rouge mixed with Aventus. It’s alright, not fully my cup of tea, but it does make a wearable, more masculine version of baccarat for me, which is a first for me.

It's a lot better than Supremacy Collector's Edition Pour Homme and 9 PM Rebel by Afnan👍
