Intriga No2

This is a fascinating scent, very dualic. The opening is a perfect combination of salty and sweet/powder-the first minute is almost anosmic to me except for these sensations. Within a moment or two I sense white flower blossoms and spice (if it is indeed clove, it is a very discreet and synthetic one), riding atop a salty-oily animalic base. Although not in the notes, I feel certain there is Ambergris in here. Patchouli, again very restrained, comes out in the heart/base. Still it is all encapsulated in the ambergris. The 15ml bottle is cheaply made but the scent within is good, and very unusual in that it does not follow a pyramidal structure.

Whoever likes this perfume, must try the Anonimo Veneziano Nobile 1942 for women. They have different openings but almost the same with many similarities dry out process. Moreover, I find Intriga No2 more feminine than the Anonimo Veneziano. The Intriga No2 opens with a blast of clove and ylang-ylang followed by the patchouli. There is also a mild sweetness from the vanilla.

Instantly lovable little thing. Skilfully made mix in tune with Safari RL and Knowing EL, - intelligent, creamy, slightly spicy, slightly honeyed, slightly hay-ish, very relaxing and feminine, great for night out as well.
