Rigas Cerini (Рижская Сирень, 2000)

This was my grandmother's favorite fragrance and I understand why, it is so floral and lovely, really reminds me of lilacs in bloom. Surprisingly realistic scent. Since they don't produce or sell this anymore took me a long time to find a second-hand bottle. I remember this fragrance used to be more strong but that was likely the 90's formula. This one is more subtle and more modern than I expected - a fresh yet strong realistic lilac floral. A real treasure!

Perfect lilac! The best and truly!!!

This was very cheap and I was not sure what to expect. Ive been very pleasantly surprised. Its a very good stab at the lilac fragrance. The cinnamon gives a gentle kick while the heliotrope adds the sweetness. Ok, so there is a slight chemical feel but Id still be happy to wear it. Fresh, spring like and not far off capturing the heady lilac scent in an easy to wear form. Low sillage and moderate longevity.

I have both modern and vintage version of this and even after all these years it is still beautiful - the lilac note is very detectable and very retro. And even the modern version will soon be considered a rarity since the Dzintars company went out of business and currently has stopped making the perfumes. This is definitely one of their best classics!

A very pleasant fragrance. Lasts all day on my skin.

My review is for vintage Riga's Cerini, I am talking 70s.. It is the best lilac perfume I ever smelt so far. It's like you are in the lilac garden in the full bloom. Somebody on this site said that Mary Chess's White Lilac was the best they ever smelt. I bought Mary Chess and I can say that it has got only a faint resemblance to the lilac scent. It is nothing compare to the Riga's Lilac ( cerini). I didn't try the new Riga's cerini and i can't tell if it's the same one that I had in 70s or not. I do not remember any cinnamon notes in the old version, just remember the lilac and it's very natural aroma. The bottle was miniature cut class, very charming. Pity, I can't find it now.

Smelling this one is like standing in the garden at noon and the lilac is in full bloom, and somewhere about half a mile away someone is making ricepudding with cinnamon and this smell wafts in your direction. The lilac is in 300% intensity in comparison to the one of Yves Rocher. The slight cinnamon-note is quite nice, but very much overpowered by the soli-flore. A nice addition for the lilac-lovers. Despite the price doesn't smell too artificial (more like 65%natural and 35%synthetic). One spray is sufficient - more and you'll likely to suffocate. So the 15ml EdP will be quite lasting. Looking at the economic-price, it is quite a treat that this has such longvity.

Really cute Lilac, it was my mother's favourite for many years. And I really loved it. Until once I accidently overdosed.. I think all lilac lovers should try this, because it's extremely cheap and lasts forever. There is something I just can't bear in all Dzintars perfumes I have tested, they have something in common (I guess it's some synthetic fixative) that totally puts me off.

This sounds like a dream come true! My favourite flower-lilac,combined with my by far favourite spice-cinnamon,and with lovely note of heliotrope! Dusting cinnamon over real lilac pettals wont do, i hope i will find this one some day!

The scent is that of sweet blooming lilac with a bit of gentle cinnamon appearing later on. A soliflore for sure, realistic and long-lasting with moderate sillage.

very good classical retro perfume ... long lasting and very elegant - as all Riga city, citie's parcs and fine Riga's gardens...

Very very retro. Like fresh heliotrope..i could smell only one note. Still like it, nothing says "spring" like this one.

It really smells like Lilac in Riga i springtime!
