Sudrabotais Ledus

There are two versions of Silver Ice (Sudrabotais Ledus). The one that exist at Fragrantica and the Silver Ice Blue (Subrabotais Iedus Blue) that isn't here. Both of them are discontinued as the official Dzintars dealer said to me. The price in Russia is 600 rubles about 9 US dollars. This review is for the Sudrabotais Ledus blue. It is one of the best scents for a heat wave. Soft, very very fresh, aquatic, vividly woody, mild citrusy and with mild earthy note and traces of soap. Very discreet, suitable for a summer office scent or with very hot temperatures. It opens very fresh aquatic with vivid grapefruit. After some minutes I can feel the cedar with a mild mix of weak carnation, vetiver and iris with sandalwood that smoothens the whole blend. After about ten minutes I can feel the musk which is mild, weak juniper and nutmeg. The longevity is moderate and the projection is really soft, very discreet. I reccomend it for very hot summer days and for jobs that need a discreet but fresh and beautiful scent. This review is for the Sudrabotais Ledus. It is a wonderful citrus spicy masculine fragrance with summer cedar. As the official site says, It's a natural bouquet of fresh notes of cedar, iris root and grapefruit on a musk background, exactly like that. It is suitable for spring and summer but not for very hot weather and heat wave. Greenish, woody, fresh and citrusy, a little powdery with a pinch of sweetness is all that characterize it. The notes according to the Dzintars are: Top notes: grapefruit, petitgrain, lemon Heart notes: cedar, iris roots, santal Final notes: musk, castoreum, ginger It opens with a blast of citruses, vivid grapefruit, vivid lemon and mild petitgrain. After some time comes to the surface a strong spicy cedar, vivid oris root with mild sandalwood that blends the whole mix harmonically and vivid ginger. The musk and the castoreum are at the background where all the ingredients live and develop. The dominant notes are spicy cedar, musk with castoreum and oris root. The longevity and the projection are both moderate. It is a strong eau de cologne with the performance of a moderate EDT. Very nice!
