Jasmine Leather

Purchased this for myself in 2023. Wore it for about 3 weeks then pretty much forgot about it. As of 2026, it’s now pretty much my daughter’s fav fragrance. Yes, it’s probably too old for her (she’s 13). She wears it for every special occasion and wore it to school once and all her friends loved it and said they could still smell it at the end of school. So longevity is 6+ hours and projection is ridiculous. Definitely decent value for money considering the quality. It opens a little sweet. Definitely sweeter than ombré leather. The opening is definitely more reminiscent of Tuscan Leather, than Ombré Leather, but that’s where the similarities stop. It’s definitely more female focused, definitely not super masculine but I could see certain males wearing this, but you’d have to be cool enough to pull it off. Yes it’s a leather bomb in the middle and base, but it’s SO GOOD. It’s not overwhelming and has a touch of jasmine in the middle. My hubby loves it, but wouldn’t reach for it himself. Maybe he’s just not cool enough to pull it off? 😉 Super underrated fragrance and always a compliment getter. Better for cooler weather, but could see it being worn beautifully on a spring night. And yes, this would be sexy asf on anyone in a nightclub. In that setting, it oozes sex appeal.

I have found my new 'go-to' daily fragrance! OMG, this scent is everything I had hoped for and MORE! I have always Jasmine scents and have WAY more than I should however with the leather in this scent makes it wearable in pretty much any season or occasion. L'Eau D'Italie's Jasmine Musk is just that...I immediately picked up on both notes and they are perfectly balanced..although it's also considered a unisex scent as well. There is nothing like this that I have ever tried and I don't plan on finding out...this is my new daily scent and I ADORE it!!

Similar to Dzing! by L'artisan in concept. Lovers of that fragrance will likely enjoy this one too (even though they do not smell similar). The caramel/animalic contrast in Dzing! is found here as bubblegum/cowhide. Jasmine Leather is also much louder and (obviously) more floral. This is very cheeky, yet still elegant and wearable!

More tuscan leather than ombre leather.. But more floral than berry! Its a meh for me. Super strong tho.

I love good design and packaging. And I admit that I dislike the bottle and packaging of this brand, Eau D'Italie. That stretched type on their other bottles is so grotesque, I don’t understand why anyone would do it. Anyway, I bring this up because it looks like the brand might have changed starting with this release Jasmine Leather, and honestly it’s about time. Updated packaging aside, thie opening is a nice leathery Jasmine sitting on a patch and wood base, so that part and the name is spot on. But it’s also a little smokey, and reminds me of cigarettes. That’s the negative part and means that this updated pretty package is a pass.
