Miss Marisa Tropical

I wore this when I was in my early 20s and it was the perfect scent for me and my age. Young fresh sweet delicious smelling and long lasting oil. I layered it with Pilar and Lucy - The Exact Friction of Stars. Delicious combo.

I bought the first one (Miss Marisa) from Luckyscent and loved it so naturally, I wanted to purchase the Tropical edition as well. However, it doesn't appear to be on Luckyscent's website anymore. I also tried their regular website and it's not there anymore. I hope it's just a temporary glitch because her fragrances are so beautiful and unique.

The mint definitely makes this scent stand out from the rest. I have loved anything peachy smelling since I was a little kid, but anything with a peach is relegated to teens and tweens. This roll on scent, however, signals summer is here!

Juicy mango. Juicy mango. And more juicy mango with a splash of plum and mint. This actually does well on my skin. Just not something I could deal with regularly.

Just like the original, I cannot fathom how such a lovely ingredients list summed to something so unpleasant.

I have spent a lot of time recently with this perfume and thought I would share my experience. I wore this exclusively on a cruise to Mexico where it was warm and humid for most of the time. I chose the perfume oil and layered with the Miss Tropical body lotion that is available from Lucky Scent. I chose the oil because it was smaller and easier to carry. It worked out great! The combo of the oil and lotion gave me a long lasting skin scent, which is exactly what I wanted. For those wondering, there is a spray you can buy from Lucky Scent if you want more projection. I loved this juiciness of this perfume, it smelled like ripened and lush peach mixed with coconut cream. I called it my "peach coconut smoothie." It stayed fruity throughout the dry down with a pronounced coconut note. I found it to be very fun and tropical. Not exactly complicated, but I was on vacation, so I was in the mood for something that was purely fun and flirty. There isn't really a booze aspect here as in some Escadas, so it doesn't smell like a tropical drink per se, more like fresh fruit blended with fresh coconut cream. I love smelling it now, reminds me of vacation. It lasted 6+ hours when layered with the lotion. It blended well with surf and sand and just got better as the day went on. I would need to re-apply for dinner, but with the roll-on it was no problem. I definitely recommend for anyone looking for a fun summer perfume that doesn't want a sun tan lotion vibe.

Got my sample of this today in the mail. Lately my sample purchases have been disappointing, but this one is amazing. So fruity and juicy it reminded me of the way it feels and tastes to bite into a ripe peach in the middle of summer. I do get the mango and something green, but not mint. It stays fruity into the dry down on me. I was hoping for more coconut, but this is definitely fb worthy for me. I only wish that it came in a spray and not a roll-on. The perfect coconut scent search continues.

This was really fruity at first then all I could smell was coconut, then the other notes of mango and water lily came out and it was more balanced. It's a nice juicy fruity coconut scent but just not a must have.
