Ruby N Vanilla Intense

I am genuinely baffled reading some of other peoples reviews describing this as “chemical”, “cleaner”, or “windex”. I mean every ones noses are differently, obviously, but this is one of my all time favorite vanilla-patchouli combo perfumes ever. It is so well blended, balanced, and sophisticated to my nose. The patchouli—a note I am very particular with—is noticeable and effective in the composition, but done so tastefully. It is tamed by the vanilla and almond and reads as a gourmand. It almost reminds me of a slightly less almond forward Elie Saab’s “Girl Of Now” or a less boozy version of M. Micallef’s “Note Vanillee”. Gorgeous stuff.

This is UNBELIEVABLY good, a love at first sniff. It's an unusual scent, unlike anything I've ever smelled before and I knew I had to get a bottle IMMEDIATELY. It's so sweet, comforting and addicting; it also projects like a beast and other people can smell it from quite a long way away. A real compliment getter. It's fast becoming one of my new favourite scents and I'll get a lot of wear out of it. I adore patchouli / citrus / amber vanilla, so this is a big hit for me. There's nothing chemical-like about it to my nose. It's like a puff of fairy dust, enchanting and beguiling. I have no words for how much I love this.

Candied, airy, orange, creamy vanilla. This fragrance makes me so happy 😇 Like eating candied orange creams coated in vanilla sugar under a tree in the summer. Patchouli and almond keeps it from being juvenile and overly sweet. I thoroughly enjoy this, and the fact that it projects and lasts well over 12 hours is a hit for me. Cannot wait to get a full bottle of this. ❤️ Admittedly, the first 30 minutes are rough...for some reason, EBK's fragrances need 30 minutes of wear before you actually start to experience the goodness underneath the sting of something artificial.

A very unique fragrance. I couldn’t put my finger on it but after a few wears I realized what is reminds me of... Fruity Pebbles cereal. I am laughing to myself because I know I sound ridiculous comparing this very expensive and exclusive fragrance to a $4 cereal. But I love it none the less.

💞 My absolute favorite, very elegant, lush velvet vanilla, very soft and smooth almond, just the right amount of powder... perfect, it is a jewel. Long lasting with great non-offensive sillage. It has a very distinctive DNA 10/10 PS Gorgeous bottle!

Nice and classy vanilla patchouli combo with a powdery base, sexy and elegant. Unisex. Good longevity and projection like most EBK.

One of my favorite most elegant fragrances from my collection.

It's giving cleaning supplies Okay so I gave this a chance after I was so appauled from the fragrance after just sniffing it from the sprayer. I sprayed it on my skin to give it a chance. I hate the first 30 minutes of this but when it dries down it has a pretty nice creamy tangerine scent. I'm not sure I'll wear this because I really dislike the opening but it's definitely nicer then I thought and wanted to update my review.

A deep, woody and sensual scent. The woodiness mixes with vanilla, powdery notes and almond. Very strong performance. Unisex. It's pleasant, but for me not full bottle worthy.

Pretty typical, feminine, host-dependant, super vanilla chem-bomb. Smells like chernobyl if it leaked melted orange creamsicles. Good concept but awful quality.

I also get the cleaning product vibes from this perfume. Even after the dry down I was disenchanted. I was SO excited to try it after all the rave YouTube reviews and was incredibly disappointed. I am glad I didn't spend a lot of money on a large bottle. It's definitely a NO for this girl and I tend to love vanilla scents. I am happy for the people who love it though, but wow, not for me. I'd recommend trying a dupe or getting a sample before spending big $$$ on this one.

I’m shocked to see no floral notes listed here. I get a soapy sweet floral vanilla perfume from this. From YouTube reviews I expected something more interesting and unique. This is almost shampoo-like and underwhelming for me.

I was able to get a 5ml decant of this scent. It’s giving Ajax in a bottle. I’m so happy that I didn’t get a full bottle because I can easily get a Ajax from the Dollar Tree for $1.25

This house is allegedly French— but it actually has their origins in Dubai. Their fragrances are too strong- extra long lasting and mostly smell like a heavy load of laundry detergent. Imagine the amount of non registered chemicals involved in their scents. The mysterious thing about it is that they don’t have any registered homepage. You have to place your orders via Facebook or Instagram. They say that they are French, but their headquarters and ‘producers’ are located in Dubai. So, if you are wondering, I will tell you that they are Arabian. If you have any problem with Arabian Perfumes, then you should be aware that this is not a French “niche Perfume” house. These are a bunch of overpriced Arabian fragrances concealed as “niche”.

Ruby N Vanilla was a complete disappointment! It smells like detergent laced with patchouli. Where is the citrus, the vanilla, Almond of any style? I have other EBK fragrances and they are great...WTH is up with this?! No recommendation, no repurchase, it's a NO for me!

I absolutely love this house but this is one of the only fragrances in my collection of over 300 that I completely do not like...so I gave it away.

Vanilla might be my all time favorite note but for some reason I can’t explain some vanilla perfumes just don’t work for me. This is one of them. Like Ani (nishane) there is something here that to me is off putting. Might be the patchouli in this case. It’s a very strong scent! I have one spray on the front of my hand and it’s radiating all around me. Seems like an easy one to overspray so be warned 😉 Edit: Tried it again about 1 year later just to see if my taste/nose has changed and it's for sure not for me. I really recognise the patchouli now as the off putting note. It's giving me cleaning products vibe. I just don't love patch. I find this house to be a little brash/scratchy/screechy/loud. The scents aren't very smooth to my nose, they really jump at you out of the sprayer. I was sure I would love this after seeing so many raving reviews from some of my favorite influencers (people whose taste generally corresponds very well with my own) but nope, can't do this one. Luckily I sampled first.

No cleaning product, no soap, it's straight up opulent orange creamsicle. Just a very smoothly sweetly citric edible vanilla with that tangerine and bergamot dancing around over the top of it - the rest just seems to be there to add texture and staying power. It's pretty linear but it doesn't matter because if this is what you're looking for it smells amazing. Performance is good - perhaps would hope for a bit better for the price but it made it a solid 8 or 9 hours on my skin. Edit: Did get some real noticeable patchouli on the drydown on my second wearing - still good, still love it, just something to be aware of.

I also do not get any type of chemical vibes out of this. To me it starts off with a sweet orange vanilla that turns heavier on the vanilla side after some time. This is one of the most relaxing & addictive scents in my collection! I wouldnt consider the longevity & sillage as nuclear but definitely both above average. Overall 8.5 (All factors considered)

Powerhouse! Such a unique fragrance! It's woody vanilla with patchouli. I'm not a fan of Patchouli, but here it's blended well! It's very strong and filled the room with one spray! I'm glad I have a sample, but I think a sample is enough - I prefer more gourmand and fruity fragrances, but something about this one is addicting.

i’m not saying this fragrance smells like this... but something about it brings to mind that powder that they sprinkled in the hallways when kids vomited at school. it’s citrusy and fruity but also weirdly powdery and sharp. i see that people enjoy it, but it’s just not for me. will probably be listing my decant for re-sale. 😩

This is an interesting fragrance. It’s citrus plus vanilla creating a creamsicle effect but it’s got that spicy earthy patchouli and some woody nuances. It’s the earthy patchouli that’s throwing me a little bit. It’s nice but it’s a bit strange and doesn’t speak to me at all.
