فخم هادي ومرتب... صدق احد افخم العطور الا عدت علي An amazing interpretation and a perfectly executed incorporation of gaiac. A must for layering. A must for the urban GCC city dweller. Not for the lattafa loving sprayers. This is refined. It will appeal to noses that appreciate oud and bukhoor. It will hold up in your majlis. It is not loud. It starts with a shriek but calms with a whisper. I love this. Some get synthetic medicinal and formaldehyde from it. I tend to appreciate those scents because once they calm they rearrange into something beautiful and not targeted for mass appeal. It's for the select few with exclusive insider access and the gift of scent and olfactory appreciation. Another one that will result in me hugging a guy no questions asked. It is unisex though and very suitable for layering if you'd like to give your usuals an Arabic twist. If the Emaraty fragrance houses know how to appease new money noses, Kuwaities know how to appease the aristocratic old money ones. And my money is on this.

The opening is quite harsh, very alcoholic, and reminiscent of a heavily treated swimming pool. Basically, quite synthetic. However, on the dry down, after maybe 30-60 minutes. It becomes beautiful and addictive. I love the brand, and this will not stop me from trying out their other/future projects. UPDATE: (20 days later and many sprays) = it is quite mature and very woody. This isn't for someone that is seeking out crowd pleasing perfumes, but for someone that appreciates unique scents. I have massively undervalued and prematurely reviewed this scent. This is good. 7.5/10.

It’s a more simplified and elegant patchouli 24 by le labo It’s not identical but it reminds me of it I enjoyed it very much And what surprised me is when you think that it faded away after a couple of hours with the rising of your body temperature to flourishes again and projects increasingly Again it’s not a clone but a close interpretation that is not as harsh as le Labo’s and with more woody notes hence the name Performance was good I enjoyed it the most so far from the house and looking forward to try the rest

Do not use this if you’re trying to get compliments it’s a great fragrance, but not one that appeal's to most people. Super strong on the wood smell in the opening, let it dry down for a more appealing smell

I got the sample set of 8 fragrances from Ecstopia, and when I reached the third one, Gaïac, I instantly got a headache from the overpowering woodsy oud in the opening. It was so strong that I couldn’t even continue sampling the rest of the set. This one just didn’t work for me.
