Yuzuki

This is a lovely, light and uplifting spring scent. Despite the name this isn’t overly yuzu like many other yuzu-based scents, more of a green woody scent with a burst of yuzu at the opening. The galbanum and woods are the driving notes for me more-so than any of the florals listed, and they give this surprisingly good longevity for a freshie. That said, I’m sampling from a decant and while this scent is pleasant, it certainly isn’t very unique or ground breaking and I probably wouldn’t spring for a full bottle at this price point.

Jesus, Mary, and Joseph. I have tested thousands upon thousands upon thousands of fragrances. This is one of the most vile smelling scents I have ever encountered. Rarely ever (two other times) have I had such a strong negative reaction to a scent. It smells like wasabi, ginger, carrots, lettuce, and a drizzle of soy sauce in the sole of sneakers reserved exclusively for the gym. I would have never envisioned this smell from the notes. This brand is teaching me the value of sampling.
