Annicke 3

This perfume was instant love for me. It gives me the same vibe as Gris Dior, although they don't smell much alike. To my nose, they both are (modern) chypre-floral fragrances with rose as a star of the composition. Gris Dior is dry & slightly earthy, Annicke 3 is incredibly creamy on my skin. Annicke 3 is an alluring, refined perfume for women (although I think that a man could easily pull it off, too). The notes that stand out for me the most are powdery rose and cashmeran, which gives a dry, musky-woody touch to the fragrance. Red berries add some tangy fruitiness whilst gardenia & sandalwood apply a soft, creamy undertone to it. Annicke 3 is a beautifully blended and well balanced composition. It lasts on my skin for 8h+ with moderate projection for the first 2-3h. It doesn't develop much on my skin but I don't mind it... I just adore this scent!

Strong in hot weather but wearable. It is new to me and I have had it so far only in hot/warm weather, incl. on sweaty sports dancing and it goes surprisingly on spot. In early fall it projects intensively. I love to open the topper and sniff. Hubby distinguished it amongst my other current perfumes. A very Chanel-y/Classic-Guerlain-y vibe✈️ All time fav.

Annicke 3 turned out to be quite an unexpected scent. Instead of the sweet floriental-gourmand I expected, it is a straightforward fresh, woody rose with an earthy, modern chypre drydown. There is a creamy undertone, but it doesn't reach gourmand territory and is very much relegated to the background. Although pleasant and good-quality, it is nothing unusual and is reminiscent of many scents. Still, I much prefer it to Annicke 1 or 2. A3 is rose-dominant from initial spray, a sheer, dewy rose, light and fresh but not thin. The fruity notes are tart and fresh, enhancing the freshness of the rose. There is very little sweetness here, it is more green and realistic. As it develops, clean, creamy white florals creep in, complementing the rose and adding some muted sweetness. It is a nice counterpoint to the woody rose accord, but isn't prominent enough to set this scent apart - it simply adds body. I get a prominent patchouli note despite its absence from the listed notes, complementing the rose to perfection. The woody notes emerge, rounding out the chypre drydown. There is a soft muskiness, perhaps due to the cashmeran, but it is restrained and doesn't overpower this scent with a heavy grey fog. It fades to a musky-woody skin scent. Sillage and longevity are moderate. A decent everyday feminine scent, A3 is transeasonal. It is casually elegant and ideal for workwear. Nicely-composed, A3 features a subtle twist on a classic. 3.5/5.

As others said, this one is an interesting, not generic at all, classic and well composed all-around. It definitely has this elegant Chanel/Dior/Mauboussin vibe without being too mature, too vintage or too chypre. It's very feminine, modern and wearable, I can definitely imagine it as being first step of a young woman into the world of more 'grown-up' perfumes. It's advertised as inspired by different gardens in Europe, but I wouldn't say it's strictly floral or prominent on anything. I think Cashmere Wood keeps florals and fruits at bay, which makes it evade some popular and utterly boring scent profiles we currently have on the market. Extremely underrated and worth more hype.

A juicy rose, feels classic but not dated. Its sweetness is tempered by slightly powdery rounded softness of the white florals. As I feel that sweet rose scents do get tiresome quickly, I like to layer them with a darker scent (like ETAT'S Hermann which also has rose) every now and then. This one works great in that way.
