Annicke 4

I'm surprised by this because I would have never guessed beforehand, but I actually really like Annicke 4. I usually detest sweet perfumes, but here, the sweetness is so natural, and blends so well into sumptious florals... Very enjoyable. Also, I don't like soapy perfumes, but this is definitely not soapy in any standard way. It may remind of some types of soaps, OK, but it's not generically soapy. This to me is a modern classic, luxurious and inviting sensuality and utter indolence. It reminds me of Mitsouko in that way.

I saw that erba pura is similar to this and its a lighter version of it! My signature scent is erba pura so I really loved this one when I smelled it. Very fresh long lasting white floral perfume with a good intense longevity of 6-7hs After the 6th hour i smell that unique note that also erba pura has and makes it go up your nose and make you crazy!

This is beautiful!!!! On my skin is soft flowery delicious sweet "sparkles" . It lasts and lasts --- twice used, and twice complimented! This is really really good!

According to the card that came with the discovery set from Eight & Bob, the top notes of Annicke 4 are Blackcurrant buds and nectarine, heart notes are Rose, jasmine and ylang ylang, base notes are Patchouli, cashmeran and oak moss. I mostly get the blackcurrant, to me it is extremely sweet and reminds me of La Vie est Belle, Flowerbomb, or other ‘mostly sweet’ fragrances with some floral and woody notes.

On me, it smells of white flowers! It does not stand out as being niche but more of a designer smell. Nothing that makes it stand out where I am wowed....... Sillage is strong like 4 to 5 feet one can smell you and longevity lasts on me for 4 hours before it becomes a skin scent. Very feminine. I blind bought this because it was on sale and plan to gift it to my mother.

To my nose this one is not Kirke/Erba Pura DNA at all, but a more elegant version of discontinued Divine Decadence. I may have this impression because I get a lot of linden from it.

Annicke 4 is another underwhelming feminine offering from Eight & Bob. While each Annicke is reasonably decent, I find this collection to be disappointing overall - in stark contrast to the consistently excellent masculine offerings from Eight & Bob. After Annicke 3, my favourite Annicke so far, this is especially ho-hum. A generic, but very sweet floral-fruity, this has a synthetic base. Overall, it is reasonably pleasant, despite the sweetness and synthetic elements, but is nothing special. A4 opens with sweet, fruity notes, more like fruit-flavoured sweets than whole fruits. I get sugary citrus, mostly orange, and a hint of peach. Sweet, strong blackcurrant follows, reminiscent of cordial that hasn't been diluted enough. It becomes quite prominent as the candied citrus subsides. As it develops, the florals emerge. I get white florals in particular, sweet and clean but synthetic - reminiscent of shampoo. Some synthetic, sweet rose follows. It is reminiscent of Flowerbomb - choked by the sugar. It becomes slightly woody and musky as it dries down, and a haze of ambroxan or similar lingers after the fact. Sillage is strong and longevity is moderate. It is a transeasonal day scent. A sweet floral-fruity that feels like a lazy designer offering, A4 is a youthful feminine scent that, while it will appeal to some, is not worthy of this brand in my opinion. Not my thing, but not the worst, having said that. 2/5.

Based on an Eight and Bob sample and from a male perspective. A light, pleasant enough, sweet floral. If you want to smell 'nice' and nothing offensive, this is the frag for you, an 'easy reach'. I know perfume is emotive/personal but at £100 for 100ml this seems questionable value. 2/5

Annicke 4 is a feminine sweet fruity floral. A rose and jasmine floral opening with bright bursts of blackcurrant and nectarine. Generic but pleasant. Nothing you haven’t smelled one hundred times before!

It’s quite a boring floral scent that smells like generic soap bar or shower gel with “floral bouquet” label on it. Slightly dated musky and soapy rose-jasmine type of scent with a bit of sweetness.

Sweet, Very sweet. Extremely sweet. You can't feel anything else for the first 20 minutes. Only a big pot of sugar syrup, which prevents you from breathing. It will be some white flowers and Roses after...but you need to survive till this moment.

For me it’s too strong. It’s almost the same with Guilab perfume thatI have to wash it off after a spray. I don’t like ambroxan in the perfume. I’m sure this one have it but somwhow they don’t show it in the pyramid.

Based on a sample - I tried this one during a hot summer day and I felt very prominent linden. Linden indeed. Second try by night - not the hottest summer one - sharp opening turned me decades back to Armani ADGio 1995, female. Yes. That was it or what I remember from a highschool summer holiday. I even checked if someone else had same reminder and went to ADGio 95 page here for reference. I am not good in defining notes but I do not get any fruits here. Just white flowers and standard warm bases. Soon after spritzing the frag turns deeper and warmer, more pleasant but not unique. I agree with comments below for a nowadays-y designer-y smell.

The scent being rated as similar to both accento overdose and Erba pura got me interested. The opening is definitely similar to Accento overdose without that unique herbal touch. The similarity disappears as it dries down and this becomes more of a light aquatic floral. I was wondering for a while what this reminded me of then I got it! Dolce by dolce & gabbana. Smells so much like it but with a touch of pink pepper. Personally it’s not something I’d buy or wear but if you’re looking for a clean and fresh floral vibe try it out.

I get similarities to Mojave ghost in the opening. The dry down gets a bit more generic and feminine. Almost smells bitter in the air towards the end.
